Note: In the previous chapter, I accidentally added another MSF soldier called Mosquito, which has no backstory or anything. I guess I stuck with MGS V for too long that I added him accidentally.

In somewhere of Narita, Lelouch and Shirley were able to escape from the grasps of Mao, Lelouch was thinking quickly what to do since the incident happened so suddenly; Mao's appearance, the revelation of him murdering Shirley's father, appearance of another Geass user called Veg Linxing, C.C and Big Boss.

He looked down to see Shirley on her knees; crying and sobbing from the incident.

"Damn it, how could this happen?" Lelouch cursed.

"Lulu" Suddenly said Shirley.

"Please, tell me this is not happening, tell me this is just a nightmare…Please!" Shirley cried again as she is unable to process all those information's revealed by Mao.

Lelouch gritted his teeth in frustration; he closed his eyes as he tried to come up with something. He already decided that he would carry on this burden, but what of Shirley? Will she be able to move on with this incident? She is no soldier and has no psychological training to withstand it, and she would most likely develop post traumatic stress disorder after this. She doesn't deserve to live with this pain. Only himself.

"Shirley" Spoke Lelouch, slowly some tears fell down from his eyes.

She stared back at him with her eyes filled with tears.

Lelouch slowly cried out as he decided to do something, something that will hurt him a lot, but that is the price he must pay.

"Erase my existence from your memories" Lelouch commanded as the Geass symbol flew to Shirley's eyes.

"Mao… I'll make you pay for this"

…

Meanwhile with C.C and Veg

…

Deep down in a small forest, C.C was lying on the ground after Veg tackled her from the Narita monument. Veg sat next to her as he sighed in relief, what he did was a dangerous move since he could have died. Thankfully he landed on top of C.C, which she suffered a great pain in the back, but nonetheless she will live up. She slowly woke up and her eyes scanned her surroundings.

"Finally, you're awake" She turned around to see him with a glare.

"Sorry for using you as a pillow for my landing" Veg said with smirk and eyes closed. "But you are immortal, so there shouldn't be any problem, right?"

"Yeah, sure" C.C said sarcastically.

"Well, I guess it's my time to leave, now that you are awake" He stood up and was about to leave until C.C stopped him.

"Wait! I need you to answer me some questions!"

Veg turned around "What is it?"

"How do you know me? What is your connection with Big Boss? Are you related with Militaire Sáns Frontieres sudden appearance?" C.C questioned him.

Veg just shrugged. "Sorry, C.C. THAT'S a secret I can't reveal…Yet"

" Then why are you helping me?" She demanded, trying as much as she can to get any information from him.

"Let's just say that my boss, has plans for you" Just when he was about to leave he said.

"And don't worry about Mao, we will handle this"

"What are you….Wait!" She yelled, but Veg escaped. She gritted her teeth in annoyance, the opportunity to know about Big Boss and MSF gone. At least she knows that someone is pulling the strings, but who? It couldn't be Charles or the Geass directorate since they are looking for her. She supposed that some organization is behind this.

And what did he meant that he will handle with Mao? He couldn't mean…

"Damn it" She cursed as she got up and proceeded to go to the train station. She assumed that what Veg meant is that he or Big Boss will kill him.

Then she used her communicator to call Lelouch.

"Lelouch"

"C.C? Where are you? Are you alright?"

"Im fine, but we need to talk. Meet me at the station"

"Alright"

…

Meanwhile with Big Boss

…

Big Boss ran as fast as he could through the destroyed buildings of Narita. As he ran, he drew out his IDROID and attempted to call Miller. But unfortunately, he couldn't receive any signal.

"Damn it" He continued running, then he spotted a small patrol. Quickly, he threw himself to the right, entering through a small door of a building. He then drew out a cardboard box and hid in there.

Suddenly, he heard a small conversation as they passed by.

"Man, how long will it be over?" Asked the patroller #1

"Soon enough, it's almost dawn." Said the patroller#2

"Hey, did you guys hear the rumor recently?" Asked the patroller #3

"What rumor?" Asked the patroller #1

"About his highness, Schneizel, being the supervisor of the Militaire Sans Frontiéres invasion?"

Big Boss's eyes widened in shock and horror. He knew that they were going to invade his base due to their reputation, but this was too soon.

"I heard of it too. If it's true, then that means we can rest easily knowing that his highness defeated those pirates" Said cockily the patroller #2

"I'm pretty sure those mercenaries will be done for. They'll have no idea what hit them" Said the patroller #1

"I know, right? I mean, prince Schneizel sent half of the Britannian army to attack it!" Said the Patroller #3

The conversation started to sound lower as they walked away.

Big Boss kept calling Miller or Ocelot through his communicator, but strangely, he couldn't receive anything. Maybe because there is no signal where he is or there is something jamming it. He withdrew the cardboard box and then he stood up to return to his hidden base.

He peeked through the door to see outside. He looked left and right, nothing, not even the patrollers, he went to the right side and proceeded to leave Narita.

"I found you, Big Boss!" Spoke a male voice from behind.

Big Boss quickly turned around with his Mk22. It turns out to be Mao, standing a few inches away from him with a rifle in hand. Big Boss also saw the body of the patrollers behind Mao, probably dead.

"This time, I'm going to make sure you won't interfere with my plans!" Mao aimed his rifle at him. Big Boss leaped to the left, hiding behind the building he just exited.

"You can't run forever, Big Boss! I know what you are doing! You plan to use your smoke grenades located to your left waist, aren't you?"

Big Boss gritted his teeth as Mao guessed it; he withdrew his hands from the smoke grenades and thought what to do.

"And now you are coming up with a plan! Ha, it's useless!" Mao aimed his rifle as he read Big Boss's mind deeper.

Then, Mao was stunned as he read his mind, he found out that Big Boss and his army are from an alternate world and they were brought here by some strange storm, he also found out about his connection with Veg Linxing as he and his mercenary armies are "hired" by him. Mao explored his mind and saw many fascinating things inside his minds: The Operation Snake Eater, Shagohod, The San Hieronymo Takeover ,Metal Gears, the AI weapons, and recently Peace Walker.

Mao grinned evilly as he knows what to do.

"Why don't you surrender, Big Boss? Or should I say, Snake?"

Big Boss eyes widened in surprise at the mention of his old codename.

"Oh, better yet, should I call you… Jack?"

Big Boss gritted his teeth; he knows that Mao is playing mind tricks with him.

"I wonder if The Boss would be proud of you, for turning your back on her after the whole Peace Walker incident"

Big Boss tried to dismiss the thoughts.

"No, I'm done with her. She is no longer the mentor I once knew. She put down her gun by herself when she taught me not to do it." Said Big Boss.

"Oh, is that a fact? Just because an AI pod did it? It could have malfunctioned, you know?"

"Shut up, you know nothing, Mao" He said angrily.

"You could have saved her, if you had known your government's plan, then that operation wouldn't have happened"

Big Boss sweats a little, but kept control of his emotions, he was trained to withstand psychological torture after all.

"Hmmm impressive, your mental strength is stronger than anyone." Said Mao impressed as he clapped his hands.

"Do you want to know something even more fascinating?" Said Mao as he read deep into his soul. What he said was gave the creeps to Big Boss.

"You weren't the only in Operation Snake Eater, San Hieronymo Takeover and The Peace Walker Incident"

"What are you talking about?" Questioned Big Boss.

"Have you never felt that your body loses control? As if someone is controlling your body?"

Big Boss eyes widened in shock. Now that Mao mentions it, he did felt that his body wasn't his own at certain part of those missions. Like his fight with The Boss. When the battle started, he thought he was moving by his instincts. Sometimes it fails and sometimes it succeeds, all because of his "instincts". But now that Mao said that, he really couldn't control his body during those events, until certain point like when he talks with someone. It was really creepy.

"Yes, there is definitely someone with you, even though you can't see it."

"Even now, we are being watched, or in better words…Read" Said Mao.

"Read?" Said Big Boss in confusion.

"That's right, read. As if everything that is happening is written by an author and his readers are reading this as we speak." Mao said looking at the sky or "In front of the screen" with eyes that could pierce a soul.

"Nonsense" Spat Big Boss. Big Boss quickly thought about his plan. He managed to come up with a plan, something that shocked Mao.

"W-what do you think you are doing?!" Shouted Mao as he held his head.

"You want to read my mind? THEN HAVE A TASTE OF THIS!" Shouted Big Boss as he started to relive the Snake Eater Operation.

…

Big Boss's memories

…

All of a sudden, Mao was seeing images. It was as if he was entering Big Boss's memories.

"W-What the hell is this?!" Mao started to watch Big Boss's memories in first person view. He was no stranger to killing and death. But this was a whole new level. He saw him killing soldiers with his gun, throat slit, setting people on fire, poisoning, etc.

Mao started to feel nausea at these memories; he couldn't believe that such man is capable to be so destructive. But the worst was yet to come.

Suddenly, the scene changed to a cave. Before Snake stood a man with a balaclava mask, wearing some kind of yellow uniform, military pants and black groves. Then he spoke.

"It is time to feel….." He slowly removed his mask to reveal something so shocking that would traumatize not just a human being, but sociopaths such as Mao.

"THE PAAAIINN!" The man screamed as his face was covered with welts from the stings. Suddenly behind the man, flying insects such as bees, or hornets, covered his body, creating some sort of creepy armor made of bees or hornets! Mao was horrified as The Pain walked closer to Snake.

Mao was feeling scared.

"AAAAAAAAHHHH!" Mao screamed. At that time, Snake was trained to withstand pain. But for Mao it was like watching a horror movie that is enough to scar someone.

Snake moved his arms, while Mao felt the stings from the hornets pinching all over Snake's body.

"AAAH! STOP!" Outside of Mao's mind, he held his head trying to dismiss this memory, but to no vail.

Then it stopped as The Pain disappeared along with the scenario, replacing it with a forest and with someone standing on a tree branch.

A man wearing a green camouflaged military outfit with a slim body, with a sharp face and creepy red eyes.

Mao eyes widened as the man dislocated his arms backwards and then started to climb down the tree in a fast way like a contorted spider. Once he climbed down, he stood up in front of Snake, and then the man opened his mouth as his tongue stretched out like snake tongue!

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS GUY?!" Mao said horrified, he started to sweat hard and unconsciously, he pissed in his pants. Then, the man spoke.

"I am….THE FEAR!" The Fear ran straight at him like a monster about to kill its prey.

"HUUUAAAHHH!" Mao yelled while Snake ran in the forest. But then he came across to a booby trap, a hanging tree trunk with spikes appeared in front of him and swung directly to him.

"AAAAAHHH!" Mao screamed as he saw the spikes hits his abdomen.

Snake got up, but then he fell again to the ground as The Fear shot an arrow from his crossbow on his left leg.

Mao started to feel headache as the memories are too extreme for him to handle, more than reading multiple minds at the same time.

Suddenly, a bullet shot on Snake left arm. Mao didn't notice that the scenario changed again.

Mao he tried to look who shot. He didn't have to wait long as an old man covered with brushes, as well as a parrot on his shoulder, appeared next to him. But the creepiest feature of this old man is that his eyes were popped out and he was staring at him.

"Foolish child" Spoke the oldman.

Then the scenario changed again, the whole place became dark like in an underground tunnel. Suddenly behind him, a flaming light shone. Snake turned to see who it was.

It was someone wearing a black spacesuit, with a giant black helmet that has 3 letters that formed like some sort of "NO" and with a flamethrower on his hand shooting fire as he ran after Mao. Then he/she started to roar with anger, which confirmed to be a man.

"I can see it! It is beautiful!" Mao didn't understand what this man, but then he flew up with some sort of jetpack. Then he exploded as flames rained down and formed some kind of stream, targeting Snake.

Mao was sweating and panting as his mind is almost reaching to insanity.

Snake ran as fast as he could to reach a door which is in front of him.

"HUUUAAAAAAAHH!" Mao turned around to see what was that scream. He saw something very terrifying that will never forget. The flames formed 3 ghostly faces with traumatized faces.

The door slammed right in time after Snake entered.

But then….

The memories halted as a ghostly face popped out.

Then the scenario slowly disappeared. In its place was forest, a foggy forest, with a long, but small straight lake.

"What is this place?!" Exclaimed Mao, he expected to be over, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Suddenly, in front of him, a dark figure materialized, he was hovering on the lake with his back turned. He spoke with a sorrowful tone.

"Sad….So sad." The dark figure, who turns out to be a man, turned around to face him. He had a hood covering his face, but Mao could see a glimpse of his face.

"I am The Sorrow" he turned around as he removed his hood. He had grey hair, a pair of glass, and ghostly features on his face.

"T-The Sorrow?"

Suddenly The Sorrow said something shocking.

"I know you are reading his mind….Mao" The Sorrow was talking to him.

"W-what?" Stuttered Mao "But this is a memory! It is impossible that you are communicating with me! At this very moment!"

The Sorrow pointed with his index finger at Mao.

"I m just a small fragment of my old self who resides in Big Boss's mind as a counter measure against anyone who dares to strike him psychologically."

"That's impossible" Retorted Mao.

"As retaliation, I have been awaken to take care of you." The Sorrow hovered with his piercing eyes staring at Mao.

"You are a fool for entering Big Boss's mind. You should have gone when you still had the chance, but now, I will execute you mentally." As soon as he ended his sentence, the left side of his glass cracked, and then his left eye started to let out some tears….tears of blood.

The next thing that happened, was enough to break Mao down.

Behing the The Sorrow, the ghosts of the Cobra Units walked to where he was, they were walking like zombies and were focused on one person….Him.

Mao was sweating and breathing fast as those ghosts were coming closer to him.

"PLEASE, STOP THIS!" Mao started to beg as the ghostly Cobra Units came closer to him.

The Pain, who is covered with bees and hornets, grabbed his neck as the hornets and bees stung his neck.

"AAAAAHHHH!" Screamed Mao in pain. Then The Pain released his hold.

Next was The Fear. He held his ballista and shoot Mao's arms, legs, shoulder and abdomen. Mao screamed painfully again as The Fear stared at his eyes, delivering the fear factor.

The End joined the torture with The Fear, he used his sniper and shot every single nerve in Mao's body.

Mao kept screaming. He screamed more as The Fury came with his flamethrower and incinerated him.

Mao screamed more and more, while begging to stop.

Finally, his mentality broke down with The Sorrow as a horrifying image of him popped out. His final moments.

….

Real world

….

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Mao snapped as he fell down on the floor, he was too unstable to think and act.

Big Boss exited from his hiding and went to Mao's side. Mao breath hard with tears on his face.

"You are skilled with guns, kid. But I have faced someone better and he was over 100 years old." Remarked Big Boss as he had a flashback, a battle with The End.

Big Boss drew out his handgun and aimed at Mao.

"Kill me" Begged Mao. "Just kill me"

Big Boss granted his request.

*Spisssh*

Mao's head fell on the ground as his body ceased to function.

Big Boss withdrew his gun. He carried Mao's body and hid it inside a building. He made sure that there were no evidences of his presence. Then he started to walk away from the area.

Just as he exited the building and was on the road, he stopped. He slowly reached to his holster and remained steady as something or someone was behind him.

He quickly turned around to face whoever was behind him.

He saw two people.

"Who are you two?" Asked Big Boss

"We have been looking for you… Big Boss" Said one of them who turns out to be a female voice.

Meanwhile with C.C and Lelouch

…

Inside a train, C.C and Lelouch were discussing about the current events, mostly about Mao and Veg.

"So Mao lost his control over his Geass"

"Yes, he will listen everyone's thoughts, whether he likes it or not." Said C.C

"Then what of this "Veg Linxing"?" Asked Lelouch

"Honestly, I have no idea who he is." She said simply

"You don't know him?"

"Not a clue, I thought he was just a Chinese who just happens to be around. But after what he did today, he seems to be something else" Said C.C, she left out the part that he popped out of nowhere in his room.

Lelouch was on his thoughts, until his communicator rang.

"Yes?"

"Zero, It's Kallen"

"What is it, Kallen? I'm right now a little busy" Said Lelouch

" Sorry for interrupting, but there is something that you should know" Said Kallen

"Ok, fill me in"

"Miller-san and I infiltrated a Britannian base to retrieve some informations, but Miller discovered something very serious, Britannia will invade Militaire Sans Frontiéres in 5 hours."

Lelouch's eyes widened in shock.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I heard the recordings myself" replied Kallen with a serious tone.

Things complicated more for Lelouch with this information, if Britannia destroy them, he will lose a powerful ally. It would be good if he goes and help them. However, he doesn't have the enough manpower to help them; the Black Knights are currently busy playing their vigilante roles, and Mao is still out there planning his next move on him, mainly C.C.

"Zero, I request a permission to go and support them myself"

Lelouch understood her determination since she got rather close to those groups, it would be good to help them, but with the current situation, he would have to reject it. Besides, he doesn't want to lose his best pilot.

"Sorry, Kallen. There is nothing we can do for them."

"But Zero! We must help our allies!" She said with a concerned tone.

"I know how you feel Kallen, but we are having our hands full and we can't dispatch any of our forces to help them, and if I let you go, there might be a chance that u get killed." Lelouch pointed out his reasons for Kallen.

"I… I understand, Zero." Kallen had no choice but to acknowledge Zero's decision. Then the communication was turned off.

…

With Miller and his soldiers

…

In the secret base of MSF in Japan, Miller and the MSF soldiers prepared their equipment to return to Mother Base as fast as they could. He instructed to several staff members to stay here and continue their operation. At first they protested since they want to leave too to protect Mother Base. Miller told them that, should Mother Base fall, they would need places to refugee the survivors. The MSF staff understood and complied the order.

But Miller was worried about something else, Big Boss hasn't responded yet. It has been like 1 hour since the last contact he had with him. Time was running out as every second that passes means Britannians getting closer to Mother Base. Where could he be?

"Sorry Boss, I guess I'll have to leave without you" Thought Miller, he didn't want to leave him behind, but this is a crucial moment.

"I wish we could join you in your battle" Miler turned around to see Kallen. Kallen passed the information to the Black Knights about the new event that was going to happen. They were shocked to hear it, but there was nothing they could do, they have their own affairs in Japan and they didn't have the enough manpower and firepower to support the mercenary nation.

She also requested Zero that she wants to help them in their battle. But Zero turned it down as he said that the Black Knights are currently having their hands full and she can't go because she is their best pilot and he can't afford to lose her. She acknowledged it since Zero was absolutely right what he said.

She seemed to have attached to them as they were good soldiers and she considers them as good friends. She has her duty with the Black Knights, and her beloved friends in there, but helping an ally wouldn't hurt that much.

"I understand, Kallen." He walked in front of Kallen and put a hand on her left shoulder.

"Don't worry, we can handle it. Focus on your organizations objectives, It is a chance in a lifetime to see something like this happen." He said calmly to Kallen.

Kallen smiled and then suddenly, she gave Miller a tight hug. Miller was surprised, but smiled back as he returned the hug.

"Please, take care of yourselves, and kick those Britannians butt" Miller grinned as he replied to her.

"We will, Kallen, we will"

After that, Miller and the MSF soldiers left the base to the shores of the Tokyo Settlement, they entered on the submarine and departed on their way to Mother Base. He just hoped they could get there in time.

…

Mother Base

…

Alarm noises were heard all over Mother Base. All civilian staff members rushed to the command center as they were instructed to get there while MSF soldiers exited their barracks and hurried to the command center too.

The civilian staff members were lead to the basement. With Amanda in charge of them, they all settled down waiting for further announcement. They were scared at what it was happening. For the old recruits of MSF, this kind of events is very unusual, while the new recruits were scared or nervous at what it was happening.

Amanda was instructed by Ocelot to be the leader of the civilian staff members, and lead them to the basement of the command center. She handled it well, but she really wanted to know what it was happening.

Chico was scared as he hugged his sister. He may be a child soldier, but this situation is a whole new level as he doesn't know what is happening.

Cecile was also scared, she thought she had the courage to be tough at this moment after the Peace Walker incident, but it seems that she's still not tough enough, she is a bird watcher after all.

As for the civilian staff members, they were nervous. Luckily some of them have combat experiences, which they may be helpful to protect those that are not combatants.

"Amanda, I am scared" Chico tightened his hug, Amanda caressed his back.

"Don't be afraid, Chico, im here"

Cecile came to his side and hugged him "Yeah, your sister and I will protect all these people"

Chico blushed a little "Y-you are right, besides Big Boss will arrive. I know it!"

…

Meanwhile with all the MSF soldiers

…

All MSF soldiers that were available in Mother Base went to the command centers. Gregory led the way to these soldiers, as well as his own.

For the MSF soldiers that couldn't get to the command center, they were instructed to get to the barracks, as the announcement will be broadcasted through all Mother Base. Adalhelm personally lead these ones to the barracks.

In front of the tower of the command center, Ocelot, along with with Ocelot Units, came out of the balcony of the tower to face the crow of soldiers.

The TV broadcasted to all Mother Base so everyone could see.

"Listen up! Soldiers and staff members of MSF!" Started Ocelot. All MSF members stared at the TV or at him, depending on their location.

"I hope you know what to say, sir Ocelot" Thought Gregory, hoping that with the announcement could raise their morale.

"I know you are all wondering what the emergency in Mother Base is. Well, what is happening is that, Britannia is coming here."

Several staff members were shocked while others were in disbelief.

"Britannia is coming, with half of their military force to accomplish one specific goal; destroy Mother Base!"

Everyone muttered at the announcement that Ocelot spoke.

"Now, don't worry. We are all prepared to face this threat. The reason ,why? They may have the advantage on their military strength and technology, but they lack something very important: their humanity. As we all know, Britannia is a monarchic nation. Following their emperor's ideology, the so called "Social Darwinism". This ideology brought to the minds of the Britannian politicians and governments the greed for power. Not caring for any other human beings and leaving them on their own."

All the MSF members agreed, specially the Britannian members.

"We don't need such ideology, let alone an ideology that can cause harm to the human being. In here, we have our humanity, and that's what makes us better than them. We rescued many people who are considered to be our enemies, but at the end, we ended up being brothers in arms."

Ocelot sighed remembering when he fought Big Boss. So nostalgic.

All the staff members looked at each other remembering how closed they got, even when he/she was your enemy.

Slowly their morale rose, it didn't matter now who was powerful in this oncoming battle.

"Remember, this is Outer Heaven, founded by Big Boss, the legendary soldier. He chose every single one of you because he knows the pain and the horror you all had to go through." Ocelot reminded all of them.

All MSF members remembered what they went through; the deaths of their comrade, the deceiving and the hypocrisy of their governments, the wars they had to face and the lacks of morality in the society.

"That's why, as stated many times, Big Boss created Outer Heaven. Now that Britannia is coming to invade MSF, our home, we must protect it with our lives!"

"Yeah!" Several MSF members cried out. Everyone started to feel their morale rising.

"We must protect it, not just for ourselves, but for the future of our comrades that are yet to come!"

All the staff members roared with pride, they have now the determination to go and fight the invaders.

"To the civilian staff members, you were all brought to the command center for your own safety. But if any of you wish to volunteer, you are all welcome to join us." Suggested Ocelot.

Ocelot walked down through the stairs of the command center, hearing all the chanting outsides. He was glad that he was able to give them some morale to fight Britannia and repel them.

"Amanda" Called Ocelot through his communicator

"Yes, Ocelot?"

"Reunite all the volunteers you can get and have them join the combat unit."

"Understood, sir"

Then Ocelot called Gregory and Adalhelm.

" Gregory, Adalhelm. Reunite your units and MSF "old special units"

"Understood, Sir Ocelot!" Said Gregory.

"Let's get our soldiers to Sir Ocelot, Adalhelm" Said Gregory to Adalhelm.

"Alright, let's go and give these Britannian's a welcome party they won't forget! Herr Gregory!" Said Adalhelm with a grin.

…

1 hour later. 3 hours remaining for Mother Base invasion.

…

Right now inside the command center. Ocelot, Adalhelm, Gregory and the thirds in command Alligator and Mosquito, were planning on what to do.

Ocelot asked Adalhlem and Gregory their mercenary faction specialties. He now knows that the Werewolf Corp specializes on armored divisions such as tanks, knightmare frames, armored vehicles, and in some cases air divisions like helicopters, hind d's and jets.

And the Forgotten Knights specializes in shock troops, kinda like the Army Rangers or the US Marine Corps.

"Major Ocelot! The old special units are here!" Saluted an MSF soldier as several MSF soldiers entered.

Ocelot turned around to face them, he knew who they are exactly.

There are a total of 3 groups, 10 per group. The first group is the first one to ever iinfiltrate a Britannian base in Koto: Alligator, Ape, Armadillo, Bison, Chicken Grunt, Cobra, Eagle, Grasshopper, Hedgehog and Wolverine. This group was officially assigned into Alpha Team.

The second group is the one involved during the Kawaguchi incident: Sheep, Monkey, Giraffe, Squirrel, Capybara, Guanaco, Hamster, Panther, Robin and Kite. Assigned into Bravo Team.

The third group is the one during the Narita Mountain : Giraffe, Onager, Nighthawk, Mustang, Stork, Caiman, Okapi , Suni, Crow and Puma. The rest couldn't arrive as they were somewhere else, most likely in the secret bases across the world. Assigned into Eco Team.

Ocelot specifically chose these ones since their performance in this world was flawless.

"Gentlemen, it's good to see your faces again." Greeted Ocelot.

"Sir!" They saluted him.

"You were all chosen for a reason. At this moment, we are planning strategies to repel the Britannian forces, but since I or either any of us will be around at the same time to command all of you." Ocelot referred to Adalhelm, Gregory, Alligator and Mosquito. "We decided to form another 3 groups to command another part of our soldiers"

"Understood! Sir!" Said the MSF soldiers.

"We need to deploy all our soldiers and defend Mother Base's strategic point." Replied Ocelot. Then he motioned them to get closer and take a look at the map on the table.

"Now, the Britannians will surely try to flank us and then attack us through multiple locations" Ocelot pointed the hangars. "If they attack those hangars, they may surely use it as a distraction in order to attack our most important platform"

Ocelot pointed at the Mess Hall platform "They may try to cut off our supplies. If this invasion takes days, they will cut off our supplies and starve us to death. We can't let that happen. Defend it at all cost"

"But Ocelot, can't we just use Metal Gear Zeke?" Asked Giraffe.

"Metal Gear Zeke? What is that?" Asked Gregory and Adalhelm. They have been in Mother Base since their arrival, but they have never heard of this "Metal Gear"

"Sorry for not telling you guys about this" Ocelot decided to explain them with short words.

"Metal Gear is our secret weapon, it's basically a mechanical walking bipedal tank capable to launch a destructive bomb that could obliterate a whole city" Ocelot decided to not include the word nuclear since this word may not know about this.

This revelation shocked both Gregory and Adalhelm as they have never heard such destructive weapon.

"I think I understand why you don't want to reveal this weapon. It will definitely attract Britannia and will do anything to posses it" Said Adahelm.

"I agree" Added Gregory.

"Thanks for understanding" Ocelot turned to answer Giraffe.

"As for your question, we can't do that. Metal Gear Zeke will only be used If the situations is bad, and the "bomb" will only be used as a last resort, we can't let the enemy discover our secret weapon. Besides, our bomb is only one shot, and if it obliterates the army, Britannia will come again with all their strength. Its better if we defeat them the traditional way"

"Understood sir"

Suddenly, an MSF soldier came through the door. "Major Ocelot! Commander Miller has arrived!"

Ocelot, Gregory, Adalhelm, Alligator, Mosquito, and the teams rushed out of the operational room to meet Miller and the others outside of the command center.

"Miller! You are in the right time!" Greeted Ocelot.

"Thank god we make it. How is everything?" asked Miller.

"We are on it. All our artilleries, vehicles, Knightmares and soldiers are almost their battle stations."

"Good" Miller entered the command center with Ocelot to his side and the rest following them.

"Miller, Where is Big Boss?" Asked Ocelot.

Miller let out a sigh "No idea, I tried to communicate him, but he wasn't responding"

The others felt worried that something bad happened to Big Boss.

"Damn it" Cursed Ocelot. "And what of the Black Knights?"

"They can't dispatch their forces to help us. We are on our own." Said Miller sadly.

"Lets just hope that Big Boss appears in time" Said Ocelot trying to give their present comrades some hope.

"Me too, but now we must focus on our battle" said Miller as they arrived to the operational room.

They started to discuss their plans for half an hour. After they finished, Miller and Ocelot deployed their new commanders: Gregory, Adalhelm, Alligator, Mosquito, and the whole MSF squads to command their soldiers.

Gregory and Adalhelm will deploy ¼ of their forces on each side of the base; the North side, the South side, the East side and the West side.

Gregory and Mosquito will station their forces in the west side of the base which lays the barracks and the first hangar. With them are 20 modified MBTK's tanks, 30 Knightmares, 40 stationed gun placements, and 200 MSF soldiers. Gregory's Knightmare is a yellow Sutherland with modifications that could be in pair with the Knight of Ten in terms of mobility and weapons, and Mosquito is using a Gloucester without spears, only guns.

Adalhelm and Alligator will station on the east side of the base which lays the second hangar, the and the R&D Platform. Also with same amount of troops, tanks, guns and Knightmares as the west side. Adahelm's knightmare is a heavily modified Panzer Hummel, this one is more resistant and durable and has more mobility than any known Knightmare, and Alligator's Knightmare is a green Sutherland with almost the same modifications as Gregory's Knightmare.

Ocelot, with his Ocelot units, and the Eco team will take care of the South side which has the Medical platform and the brig platform. There are 30 MBTK's tanks, 20 Knightmare Sutherlands with jetpacks, 30 gun placements and 300 MSF soldiers. Ocelot is already inside his Knightmare Leopaurdus with the other Knightmares.

Alpha Team and Bravo Team will be on the North side which has the third hangar and the most important platform, the Mess hall platform. This side has more forces, with 40 MBTK's tanks, 60 Knigtmares, 60 gun placements and 400 MSF soldiers.

Several special members were present in defense of MSF: Brian, the spy who was inside Camp Omega, was behind a machine gun close to the command center.

Glatz and Palitz, AKA The Eye and The Finger, are using a modified Gloucester Knightmare specifically to function as a sniper, Glatz is in the front seat as The Eye and Palitz in a seat behind him to be The Finger. They are stationed in a strategic point of the Command Center to get a good view for their sniping point.

The "Bald soldier" joined with the other soldiers in defense for the command center.

Hideo was inside the command center and acted as the informant.

Finally, Miller and the rest will be on the command center platform monitoring the situation. In this part they have 30 MBTK's tanks covering the command center, over 30 modified Knightmares Sutherlands with jetpacks, 40 gun placements, all the MSF soldiers and their secret weapon, Metal Gear Zeke below the platform.

Mother Base forces counted of 1500 MSF soldiers, including the Forgotten Knights and the Werewolf corps. 150 tanks, 100 armored vehicles, 150 Knightmares and 160 gun placements.

All Mother Base was alert and prepared to face their fate, as beyond the sea to the south, they could see something… A giant aircraft, along with a huge swarm of helicopters, transports and other kinds of aircrafts.

Schneizel sat on his small throne on the giant aircraft.

"Such a magnificent place, what a waste to destroy it." Thought Schneizel. Then he noticed something strange, as if it was suddenly fortified.

"Zoom the image, it seems that they were expecting us." The operators did so as they could see a view of many MSF soldiers, tanks and Knightmares.

"Just as I thought." Said Schneizel as a matter of fact.

"No matter, proceed to deploy our troops! It is time to destroy and salvage whatever they have in this precious artificial island called "Outer Heaven""

I hope that I satisfied this time to everyone with this. I also want to say that I'm sorry about what I said before. You were all right about Big Boss, I guess I almost made him a wimp in one of the previous chapters, specially the old version of chapter 10. There is nothing to worry from here on out, because I have no other plans to portray Big Boss as just a normal human being, but a battle hardened soldier.
