Hello guys! I deeply apologize for such a long wait. I have been extremely busy with college studies these months, I also want to gladly say that all the efforts I spent in my studies finally gave fruits after many ups and downs.
Hopefully, I will try to write everything I can to post the next part of the chapter. This invasion arc story is proving to be the hardest and the most difficult part I have ever written.
There is another reason for the delay, but I wrote it down at the end of the chapter so you guys won't feel uncomfortable while reading.

The Britannian airship Avalon, the first of its kind to use the float system, was hovering several miles away from the South side of Mother Base. It was accompanied with a massive army composed with hundreds of Caerlon-class Floating Battleship, hundreds of VTOL already loaded with Knightmares, VTOL gunship and the Britannian Navy with over one fifty warships.
Inside the ship there were not only soldiers and pilots, but also some reporters to witness the battle as well as to broadcast it for the world to witness the conflict.
"Commence Operation 678, Militaire Sans Frontiéres Destruction!" Ordered Schneizel from his sit.
All the pilots contacted to the aircrafts to commence the attack.
He was feeling confident with the forces he has in his disposal: over 2000 Knightmares,1200 aircrafts, 20 submarines, 100 warships, 3000 soldiers and 3 Knight of Rounds: Knight of Twelve; Monica Kruszewski, Knight of Ten; Luciano Bradley and Knight of Nine; Nonette Eneagram.
Schneizel couldn't get the entire Knight of Round since most of them were too busy to accompany him in this invasion. He couldn't get the Lancelot since the specialist team is also busy in Area 11.
After an attempt to analyze their enemy's base, he was able to get the positions of the enemy troops and the struts.
In the south side, which is the front side they are facing, there were buildings that resembled medical facilities. There were also several soldiers, Knightmares and combat vehicles, he also saw a custom knightmare, a black Gloucester model with revolvers on its hips. He supposed that this one was the one who almost killed Jeremiah Gottwald during The Narita Battle.
In the east side he could see a hangar and structures that resembles research facilities, there were also soldiers, knightmares and combat vehicles. Also 2 Knightmares: A green Panzel Hummel and a green Sutherland, both with MSF insignia, he deduced that they must be the ones in commands in that side.
In the west side there was another hangar and the struts with the barracks, it has the same combat unit mentioned previously, but this time it has a green Gloucester without a spear and a yellow Sutherland.
In the north side there was yet another hangar and struts that are their reserves and supplies, this one has no special knightmares, so it might be a piece of cake.
The first thing to do in the invasion is to deploy two quarter of his forces to attack the front of MSF, in other words the medical facilities. He will not only hijack their medical platform but will also tempt them to focus all their forces to the front. While he distracts them from the front, a large unit will be sent to take over their supply strut. If the invasion take days, he will obstruct their reserves to starve them and weak them.
The Britannian destroyers will fire the missiles to the barrack's platforms and sink it. After that, they will deploy the soldiers to those struts and take over.
Schneizel also ordered to his soldiers that the research facility of Militaire Sans Frontiéres remains intact, he may be able to find something interesting in there.
Once they have secured the platforms, he will keep pushing them further, to the point that they would be forced to retreat to the command center and trap them there.
The following Knight of Round will lead the assaults team: Monica will attack the west side, Luciano will attack the east side and Nonette will attack the south side.
For further plans, he would have to improvise. There are possible chances that they can come up with plans such as ambushing, or withdrawing forces, which can lead to traps. Even more, he didn't know with certainty if Big Boss is present. If he did, it would make this invasion more difficult. He couldn't afford to lose this battle.
"Your majesty" His right hand man, Kanon, approached him with 5 people behind him. "Our guests have arrived"
"Good" Said Schneizel as he saw those people, they were the journalists and the news who will inform the world about this important event that will take place.
"Your majesty, it is an honor to meet you" Spoke the Britannian journalist, Harry Nosam
"Likewise. The main reason I brought you and the rest is because you are known to be the best journalists in the Britannian media. Consider yourselves lucky, this is a chance in a lifetime" Said Schneizel
"Yes, your majesty" Harry said it happily, as well as the rest.
"I suggest you air the news now, since I have commenced my invasion against Militaire Sans Frontiéres" Said Schneizel.
"Yes, your majesty. We will commence the airing at once" Harry and the rest immediately left to prepare themselves and the cameras.
"Britannia will be victorious, and we will show the whole world that Britannia had not weakened because of Big Boss and Zero" Said Schneizel with determination.
"Yes, my lord" Kanon said as he stood by his side.

Meanwhile, Ashford Academy, Student Council

"Aaaah, this is so much work!" Milly groaned as she leaned backward the chair she was sitting. She was doing some of their reports that concern the academic study of the students. The ones who are presents are herself, Lelouch, Suzaku, Nina, Shirley, Nunnally and Kallen.
"Don't worry madam, we will finish this soon" Said Lelouch as he finished almost all the papers.
"Easy for you to say, Onii-san. You are the smartest and the fastest person in the academy" Said Nunnally with a smile, as she was folding several origami's on the table.
"Hehe, I guess I am" Lelouch chuckled at that.
"Lelouch, you should spend more time with Nunnally, she has been feeling alone this week" Spoke Suzaku
"I know, sorry Suzaku. I have been very busy these days" remarked Lelouch sadly since his own "activities" required more time to be absent.
"Nunnally, I promise I will try to spend more time with you" Said Lelouch with a smile.
"Yay! Im happy to hear that Onii-san!" Said Nunnally happily as she finished folding another origami.
Kallen looked at that perfectly formed origami with amazement.
"How did she fold that with such ease?"
"She has really amazing skills" Added Shirley as she finished one of the papers.
Suddenly the door opened. The sound of a wheelchair rolling was heard as it turned out to be "Professor Emmerich" and "Professor Marshall"
"Hi everyone!" Huey greeted them as he entered the room.
"Hi Professors!" They all greeted them. Lelouch moved his gaze around Huey to see anything new from him. He started to get more cautious with them close ever since he geassed Huey to reveal that he and Strangelove are MSF members.
Nina saw Strangelove with a blush and then the made eye contact. Strangelove smiled as she winked her left eye at Nina, which made her turned her face away with embarrassment.
"So, I see that you all are very busy" Chuckled Huey.
"Yeah, this is the most annoying part of the Student Council activity" Milly complained as she stretched her arms.
"So, what brings you here professor?" Asked Suzaku with enthusiasm. His classes with him and Marshall were fun to attend as they are very creative on their way to teach. Emmerich tended to mix fascinating facts into their class, while Marshall explained everything detailed so anyone could understand.
"Well…" Huey was interrupted as Rivalz entered the room, sweating from all the running he had to take.
"Hey everyone!" Shouted Rivalz, then he noticed Huey and Strangelove.
"So sorry for entering like this professors" Rivalz apologized. Huey and Strangelove just nod with a smile.
"What is it, Rivalz? You are not normally like this" Asked Milly curiously.
"You guys have to see this!" Rivalz turned on the TV and changed the channel to the news channel.
In the news, a man with glass was talking inside some kind of aircraft.
"Hello, this is Harry Nosam, reporting inside the prototype aircraft, the Avalon. Right now, an important event is about to happen. We don't know what is happening exactly. Therefore ,his highness Schneizel will reveal more about this event" Reported Harry as he moved his microphone to Schneizel as well as the camera to him.
Everyone were so confused at what it was happening while Lelouch was glaring at his older brother.
"My fellow Britannians, today will be a day to remember. Today we will do something that will make every Britannian proud to be called Britannian. Today is the day we invade the nest of our new enemy! Militaire Sans Frontiéres!" Proclaimed Schneizel
The whole world was shocked at this. No one ever thought that this day would come so soon. Many Britannians were cheering at this new, while some part of the EU, the Chinese Federation as well as some Areas, were really shocked at this. They wanted to do something about this because, for them, MSF did many good deeds. They were like the saviors they needed and now they are going to be attacked by Britannia.
In the Student Council, the news was also shocking to them, especially for Huey, Strangelove, Lelouch, Kallen and Suzaku.
Huey and Strangelove were feeling worried for the safety of their comrades. They wanted to do something, but since they are civilians, there weren't much they could do.
Lelouch and Kallen were feeling sad at this since MSF are technically their most powerful ally and they couldn't do anything since the Black Knights strength are still not enough to fight Britannia itself.
Suzaku was feeling stressed and angry. He got up from his sit and silently left the room.
In the hall he stood there with his face down, an angry expression painted on his face.
He suddenly punched the wall angrily as he said "I shouldn't be here! I am supposed to be there!"
Inside the room, Lelouch also had his thoughts while he stared at the news. "Im sorry, Big Boss"
Kallen clenched her fists in frustration as she felt useless. "I hope you are alright, Kazuhira-san"

Meanwhile
…
Somewhere in the Chinese Federation, the famous Indian scientists, Rakshata, stared at the news that Britannia was broadcasting.
"I should have gone there when I had the chance before Britannia invaded it" She said almost regretfully. Ever since MSF great debut, she was fascinated with the modifications they did to the Knightmares, especially those jetpacks. They came up with an alternate float system that just required rocket propulsion for them to fly, even though it was for a short time. MSF scientists were almost in pair with her idea, her idea of a floating system.
She was thinking on joining them. But that meant leaving her country behind, which she didn't want to.
Then she thought of something else. A new she received days ago that MSF and the Black Knights joined forces.
"That's it!" She said loudly. She came up with an idea to approach them. She decided that she will join the Black Knights since they are the closest organization as well as the guarantee that she won't be in the battlefield, only in her area of work. And then she could try to talk with the MSF's leader, Big Boss, to give her some ideas for her work.

Mother Base, underwater basement

Below the Mother Base, all the civilian staff members stared at the TVs that were broadcasting the were worried of what it was about to come. Except one particular boy…
"COME ON! LET ME GO! I WANT JOIN THEM!" Screamed Chico while being held by some Sandinistas. When Ocelot instructed Amanda to gather every civilian members who can hold a gun to volunteer for the defense of the Command Center.
Amanda allowed everyone, except Chico. She decided not to take him since there is a high chance he will get killed by the Britannians. Not to mention, if he gets captured, they will do everything to make him spill information about MSF.
She walked to where his comrades were holding him, then she motioned for them to let him go.
They did as she walked closer to him, then she kneeled in front of him and grabbed his shoulder.
"Chico, I can't let you join this battle." She said sternly.
"But why? Everyone here are prepared to fight them, I cant just sit here and do nothing!" Protested Chico. Then she suddenly hugged him.
"Amanda?"
"I can't concentrate if u roam around with a gun while the enemy have superior equipments. You are still a kid, Chico. I don't want to lose you like we lost our Papá." She said sadly as she hugged him tight.
Chico slowly understood as he said "Ok Amanda, I will stay here. But I also need to do something"
Amanda drew out her pistol and handed it to Chico. "How about this? You stay here to protect our friends and comrades. If that door falls, you will be the one who stands in their way"
"That sounds good!" He said happily. She stopped hugging him and stood up to exit the underground basement with the volunteers.
"Good Luck! Hermana! I will make a good job here!" Said Chico with a supporting tone.
"I hope it doesn't come to that" Thought Amanda, hoping that the Britannians will be stopped before they cross the command center.

With the Knight of Rounds

Monica, Luciano and Nonette arrived to the hangar of the Avalon while they were conversing about the invasion.
"Finally, I can cause more destruction and death" Said evilly and with excitement Luciano as he walked with his fellow knights.
"Don't be so delightful Luciano. His highness Schneizel wishes to cause less destruction in those platforms" Monica reminded him.
"Of course, as long as I get to kill them" Said Luciano almost insanely.
"Uugh, of all the knights, he has to be here" Nonette muttered. She is usually upbeat and cheerful, but having Luciano around is just nauseating.
She felt a hand on her left shoulder, she saw that it was Monica's hand.
"Don't worry Nonette, we will be attacking in different places. We won't be with this vampire roaming around with his knives ready to stab us" Said Monica in disgust. The main reason why everyone hates him it's because Luciano is well known as "Vampire of Britannia" due to his tendency to use knives and impale his opponents or allies. Not to mention that he would quickly stabs his comrades on their back whenever he sees fit.
They came across to their knightmares, 3 gloucesters. Monica's knightmare is one colored yellow, Luciano's is colored red and Nonette's is colored blue. These Gloucesters have some improvements: the armors are more resistant and the weapons are upgraded to piercing level.
They hopped on them and activated them.
The Gloucesters were moved to the VOTL and prepared the launching.
"Launching prepared"
"Time to impale" Said sadistically Luciano as he pressed his knuckles.
"Ready in…3"
"This is where the fun begins" Said with a grin Nonette.
"2"
Monica held the controls.
"1"
The VTOL launched and flew to the outside. Soon the 3 VTOL was followed by all the aircrafts behind them.

On South side of Mother Base
…
The Leopardus stood close to the edge of the platform as its eyes glowed. Ocelot zoom the images from his Knightmare to see a giant Britannian airship just hovering miles away from Mother Base.
"That's new, never thought that they would use that ship in here" Said Ocelot remembering that he saw that airship before in the data he got inside that facility in Japan from the mad scientist and the other who sounded like The Boss.
"So inside that ship, The Avalon, is where Schneizel is in. Huh, like sending the pawns while the king is safe in his throne" Ocelot said, remarking what it would be like in a chess.
Then he saw a swarm of VTOL gunships charging forward while behind them the VOTL's were carrying the Knightmares, along with carriers and destroyers on the sea.
They are coming to invade here.
"Major Ocelot, Britannian gunships and carriers are coming!" Informed an Ocelot unit.
"Deploy our ships against them" Commanded Ocelot.
"Everyone! Prepare the anti-air gun emplacements, the missile launchers and the anti ships missiles!" Ordered Ocelot as the Leopardus moved backward from the edge of the platform. All the MSF soldiers who are monitoring the anti air gun placements, the missile launchers and anti ships missiles readied their aim.
The idea of sending MSF aircrafts was on hold until there were less enemy aircrafts. He didn't want to risk any aircraft yet.
Ocelot kept watching through the screen of Leopardus, He also saw that the Britannian navy was splitting its forces; several of them were going to left and right direction, while the others were coming, fifteen destroyers.
Under the platform, 20 MSF destroyers arrived awaiting for Ocelot's commands.
"Major Ocelot, we have arrived to the strut and waiting orders." Spoke the MSF captain "Warthog" to Ocelot.
"Draw them away from the base, it would be complicating if they sink the ships in front of the platform" Replied Ocelot. The idea was if the enemy used the projectiles against the ships and they were located under it, it could cause explosions below them and who knows what kind of consequences would occur.
The ships moved away from the platform to the right side and then forward, making it look like they were going to engage the enemy directly.
He decided to contact Adalhelm, Gregory and Alpha team "Adalhlem, Gregory, Alpha team, stay sharp, the Britannian navy split its forces, they will most likely attack any of you." They acknowledged the message.
" My assumption may be correct about this" Ocelot thought about what the enemy may have planned to do. Then he went back to his situation.
"Steady" Spoke Ocelot through the mic from his Knightmare. Slowly the aircrafts were getting closer.
"Steady" Said Ocelot again. The aircrafts got closer as
"NOW!"
The anti air gun emplacements unleashed all their firepower at the incoming aircrafts.
The missile launchers and the anti ship missiles fired as well.

In the command center
…
"Miller-san, Ocelot has commenced his attack!" Informed Hideo to Miller.
"Now it begins" Miller said as he watched the projectiles and bullets shot from the platforms of the south side.
…
North side
…
Alpha team, Bravo team and the other soldiers watched as an army of aircrafts flew to the south side of Mother Base.
Many of them wanted to leave their post and help them, but they were given orders to stay and protect the Mess Hall platform.

East side
…
Adalhelm and Alligator stared at the enemy from the South side. All MSF soldiers prepared their weapons and remained on watch.
"It has finally begun" Muttered Adalhelm.
…
West side
…
Gregory and Mosquito also saw the enemy coming.
"I won't let this place fall" Said Gregory with determination.

With the Britannians
…
While the VOTL were flying, torrents of bullets approached and shot down many of them.
*BOOM!*
Several aircrafts fell down to the ocean.
"Evasive action!" Yelled Nonette through her communicator to all the pilots.
The VOTL started to evade the bullets, but it was almost futile as one by one were falling down.
20 VOTL gunships charged forward and started to shoot their bullets.
Meanwhile with the Britannian navy, 25 destroyers and 5 submarines were moving forward to the platform, until they saw the MSF navy.
In one of the destroyers, a 29 year old Britannian commander called Angus Finch was looking at them with his binoculars.
"Looks like they are trying to block us" Thought Angus. He was given the liberty to make his own plan since he is one of Schneizel's trusted officers in the navy, even Schneizel respected him and gave him several rewards for his services.
But still, he will keep informing his movements to Schneizel.
Angus contacted to Schneizel and spoke to him "Your majesty, we have encountered with the Militaire Sans Frontiéres navy. They are blocking our path to the platform. My plan is that I will engage them while I send 5 ships to the platform"
"Very well, you may proceed with your plan" Replied Schneizel.
"Thank you, your majesty"
"Sailors and marines! To your battle stations!" Commanded Angus to his soldiers. All the ships prepared their cannons, except 5 ships. He then called the 5 ships captains to give them instructions.
The 5 captains acknowledged as Angus proceeded with his plan.
The 20 warships aimed at the MSF ships while they did the same
"Captain! There are submarines below them!" Informed an MSF pilot.
"Don't worry, I have a small surprise prepared for them. For now let's focus on those warships" Said Warthog as he stared at the Britannian ships.
The Britannian submarines were going to shoot their missiles, but halted as they spotted another submarines in front of them. They were MSF submarines.
*BAM!*
They engaged each other. The Britannians suffered some damage while the MSF had less.
The Britannian submarines didn't hit any targets. The reason was that the MSF submarines did a quick maneuver to dodge the missiles.
"Hmm, interesting" Commented Angus as stared at the battle.
In the MSF side, they kept firing at the Britannian ships.
"Captain! We spotted 5 ships going to the platform!" Informed another pilot.
"This is his plan all along. He engages us while he sends a small party to attack the base." Commented Warthog.
"Should we engage the small group?" Asked the pilot.
"It is too late, they are out of our reach. All we can do is stopping them" Said Warthog as the naval battle continued.
Back in Mother Base, Ocelot was able to notice the battle on sea. He also saw the small party of ships coming to the platform.
"Damn it, 5 of them slipped the line. Guess we will have to handle those ourselves" Thought Ocelot.
"I need 5 tanks to sink those ships!" Commanded Ocelot. Inmediately, 5 MBTK's arrived and aimed at the ships
Meanwhile, the other Britannian navy was being led by a captain named Samwell Smosh, a fat and greedy Britannian who seeks power and uses it for his own gains. Currently he was staring at the Mother Base with a snob face, he was planning to use this opportunity to gain any value from this artificial island and sell it at a high price.
Suddenly he saw the projectiles coming from the platform at his direction.
"Incoming!" Yelled Samwell Smosh.
Soon, the projectiles hit the destroyers. Some projectiles managed to sink 2 destroyers while others were just slightly damaged.
*BOOM!*
"AAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Screamed the soldiers and sailors at the 2 sinking destroyers.
Samwell got angry so fast that he decided to attack them.
"Destroy them! They have hurt us!" Screamed Samwell in a childish manner. Many sailors and officers could think, how was he promoted to captain?
But nonetheless, they obeyed, not because of his orders, but it was a part of Angus plan. The destroyers readied their cannons and aimed at the platform.
"Fire!" Yelled Samwell.

With MSF
…
"Incoming projectiles!" informed one of the soldiers to Ocelot. He saw them coming from afar.
"Shoot them down!" Said Ocelot.
The Anti ship missiles shoot again in order to hit the projectiles, it was successful to hit several. But 2 projectiles hit some parts of the platform. Luckily, the floor of the medical platform was remodeled with metals that can withstand explosions.
Ocelot looked at the skies to see that more aircrafts were coming. Even though the anti air guns are doing their job, it keeps coming more Britannian aircrafts. And it was only a matter of time before 2 or more anti air guns or the missile launchers of the south side are shot down by the enemy.
Ocelot currently couldn't use some weapons, like the rail gun since it is more effective when the targets are close.
"Prepare the FIM-92 Stingers!" Ordered Ocelot as 30 MSF soldiers arrived and aimed at the VOTL's
"Fire!" Shouted Ocelot as they fired the Stinger missiles.
"Incoming missiles!" Screamed one of the Britannian pilots as they tried to evade it. But they were unbeknownst to the Stinger missile function so they were gradually shot down
*Booom!*
"AAAAAHHH!" Screamed the pilots as several of them fell down
"Damn it! What kind of missiles are those?!" Exclaimed Nonnette
Even though they were losing aircrafts, they still have plenty of aircrafts. Then several VOTL gunships flew past the platform while shooting at them.
The anti air guns did their job as some of those gunships were destroyed, but still more kept coming.
"Damn, this is tough. They are armed to the teeth and are shooting everywhere" Said Ocelot.
Suddenly bullets rained down from the sky as the 20 VOTL gunships fired at them.
"Take cover!" Shouted Ocelot to the MSF foot soldiers. They quickly took cover behind the MBTK tanks, Knightmares or buildings.
The anti air gun kept firing at the aircrafts. But suddenly, the Britannian aircrafts started to fire missiles at them.
"Stop those missiles!" Commanded Ocelot as 3 anti air guns fired at them.
Meanwhile, the destroyers shot again projectiles at the anti air guns.
"Look out!" Warned Giraffe from Eco Team to the soldiers.
Other anti air guns turned their turrets and shot at the projectiles.

In the Avalon
….
In this moment, Schneizel was watching and analyzing the battle on the screen of his ship. He had to admit, they are standing their ground perfectly well, but it was also a nuisance since that meant they won't call for backup.
"It seems that I'll have to improvise soon" Thought Schneizel as he waited a little bit longer.
But then he noticed something important: Big Boss is absent. He was nowhere in sight, not even the command center.
Schneizel smirked. This is the perfect chance to attack with full strength with MSF's morale decreasing slowly.

Back to the South side of Mother Base
…
The anti air guns and the mounted guns that were shooting at the aircrafts started to run out of ammo as the aircrafts were getting even more close to the platform.
"Major! We are running out of ammo!" An MSF soldier arrived and reported it to Ocelot.
"Replenish our ammunition! And reload them as quick as possible!" Said Ocelot as the MSF soldier nodded.
At this moment, most MSF soldiers and Knightmares were attacking the aircrafts with their missile launchers.
4 Britannian aircrafts aimed their missiles at some anti air guns and fired them.
The ones, who were able to notice the missiles, changed their direction to the incoming missiles.
But unfortunately, 2 of them ran out of ammo.
"Oh crap! Run!" One of the MSF soldiers who were close to the anti air guns warned them.
Some MSF soldiers were able to run away from the missiles, but the ones piloting the anti air guns suffered injuries while attempting to escape.
"AAAaaaaah!" screamed 3 MSF soldiers injured from their wounds.
"Quick! Patch our soldiers!" Commanded Ocelot as several MSF soldiers carried their wounded to small buildings of the medical platform.
Some MSF soldiers shot their Stingers, but still another round of VOTL gunships arrived and shot bullets again.
The result was the destruction of their first defense.
"Sir! We lost our anti air gun!" Informed Mustang.
Ocelot started to grit his teeth. It was no joke, every 5 seconds, gunships appeared, and even if they shot them down, another round of them arrived. They were determined not to give MSF a breath.
"There are small boats being deployed by the destroyers!" Added Onager.
"Attack the destroyers! If you see any chance to hit the boats, don't hesitate!" Spoke Ocelot to the tank pilots. The 5 MBTK tanks readied their cannons and aimed at the destroyers and boats
*Bam!*
They were able to sink some boats, but the destroyers withdrew in order to stay out of the reach of the tanks.
*Boom!*
The VOTL gunships were able to shoot down some of the missile launchers.
And then the VOTL gunships started to shoot bullets at the MSF soldiers so the VOTL's can have a safe landing.
"Take cover boys! This will be a long battle!" Shouted Ocelot as he drew out his revolvers and took cover behind some of platforms buildings, the MSF Knightmares and soldiers did the same, while the foot soldiers took cover behind the ramps raised by the platform.

Many VOTL deployed the Knightmares as they landed smoothly at the gigantic platform. The Glasgows drew out the assault guns and fired at MSF Knightmares and soldiers.
"Fire now!" Shouted Ocelot as he shot one of his revolvers. The rest followed his example as they started to shot torrents of bullets.
"Move! Move! Move!" One of the Britannian Sutherlands yelled through the speaker to the other Knightmares. While they are firing, some VOTL carriers arrived and the Britannian soldiers exited from there, and started to fire at their enemy.
Some VOTL arrived quickly and dropped barricades, and then it blocked horizontally so the Britannians can take cover from there.
The Britannian soldiers took cover behind those barricades and started to fire at the MSF soldiers.
The MBTK's kept firing their projectiles at the ships.
"AAAAAHHHH!" The Britannian marines on the boats and ships screamed.
"I need one of the MBTK's tanks to support here!" commanded Ocelot as he shot two bullets to one of the buildings, which caused it to ricochet and one of the bullets pierced 3 Glasglows while the other pierced another 2.
The MBTK tank shot one projectile at the Britannian landing zone.
*Boom!*
10 Britannian soldiers were injured and scattered around the platform by the impact of the projectile.
One of the Britannian soldiers spotted the tank and drew out a rocket launcher.
The Britannian fired it and the rocket went straight to that tank.
Ocelot saw it and tried to warn it "A rocket is coming straight at you!"
One of the tank pilot shoot bullets from the turret, but it was no use as it hit them.
*BAM!*
"Damn it!" Cursed the pilot, they were lucky that the tank was still functional after that attack, but it caused half the damage, which means that the next one will be their end.
As for this moment, Ocelot and the Eco Team are holding the attack, but only for a time as they are slowly being repelled by the sheer amount of Britannian Knightmares and soldiers arriving from the VOTL's.
Giraffe drew out a FLASH rocket launcher and fired 4 consecutive missiles.
"Look out!" Shouted one of the Britannian soldiers. Several of them tried to dodge it, but they were sent flying by the impact of the missiles.
"AAAAAHHHHH!"
Although MSF was holding well, Britannian reinforcements arrived through the VOTL's.
The Britannian soldiers covered ¼ of the platform, and now they were almost reaching the half.
Right now everyone was exchanging bullets. Although MSF suffered injuries. Most of the casualties were from Britannia as they were losing men and machines every second, even though their army are huge compared to MSF.
Many of them felt that fighting MSF soldiers was like fighting the highest ranked soldiers from their army or like fighting one of the Knights of Round.
"Eat this Britannians!" One of the MSF soldiers used the chaff grenade to disrupt the Knigthmares radar.
*Bam!*
The chaff grenade started to do its effect as the Britannian Knightmares radar and screen were disrupted.
The MSF Knightmares and vehicles were modified so the chaff grenades won't affect them.
But the Britannians brought with them something to counter the effects of the chaff grenade.
"Time for a little surprise!" commented a Britannian pilot as he turned on a switch inside the cockpit, which caused the Knightmare's eyes to recover its sensor.
This surprised the MSF soldier as the knightmare positioned its gun and was about to fire at them.
"Oh crap!" The MSF soldiers quickly ran and dodged the bullets as they hid behind a structure.
"Sir! I bring bad new! Our chaff grenade won't be of any use! They are using some sort of technology in their Knightmares to counter it!" Said one of the MSF soldier through his radio to Ocelot.
" Understood, keep defending the strut"
Ocelot and his unit kept shooting at the invaders. Everyone was defending the base well. But even then, the enemy was still coming.
Meanwhile under the strut, Britannian boats arrived to the legs of the strut, they saw ladder to climb and a stairway that both reaches to the upper level of the strut.
"Go now!" Yelled a Britannian commander, but as soon as they were able to step on the ground of the strut legs, bullets rained down on them.
"AAAAHHH!" Some of them were shot, they looked up and saw some windows of the struts with MSF soldiers.
"Up there! Shoot!" With that, they started to exchange bullets.
On the platform, some Britannian soldiers brought grenade launchers.
"Blast those pirates!" Yelled a Britannian soldier, 5 of them fired at the MSF soldiers.
"Look out!" warned one of them.
*Boom!*
"AAAAHHH!" They quickly withdraw, but some were injured by the impact.
"Quickly!" An MSF soldier dashed to help their comrades.
"Hold on!" Cried one of the MSF soldiers as he saw the Britannians coming.
Suddenly, a torrent of bullets hit the Britannian group. An MSF Knightmare arrived and then proceeded to shoot at them.
"NOW!" Yelled the pilot from the Knightmare. This gave them a chance to withdraw the wounded MSF soldiers.
Back with the strut legs level, the battle seemed to favor MSF as they have halted them.
"Bring the rocket launchers!" Yelled a Britannian captain. They arrived with rocket launchers and aimed at the windows.
"Take them down!" Cried one of the MSF soldiers as he noticed them. The bullets hit many Britannian soldiers, including the ones with rocket launchers, but they were unable to hit most of them.
The Britannians with rocket launchers aimed at the windows and fired.
"Incoming!" Warned one of the MSF soldiers. The missiles flew straight to the windows.
*Boom!*
"AAAAHHHH!" The MSF soldiers screamed, but none were killed, only injured.
The impact created a hole on the windows.
"Now is our chance, move!" The Britannian captain commanded as the Britannian soldiers went straight to the ladder or the stair. Meanwhile more boats arrived, and slowly more Britannians exited their boats. With them there were some Britannians with shields that are resistant to piering bullets.
Many MSF soldiers regained their consciousness after the impact and continued their attack.
The Britannians on the ladder and the stair were shot by them.
"AAAAAAHHH!"
"Damn it! Fall back!" Cursed the Britannian captain.
"Shields!" The Britannian soldiers with shields arrived and protected them.
Soon, Nonnette arrived safely from the VOTL to the platform and took cover behind the barricades.
She saw a small team of MSF soldiers several meters away. She started to shot at them, but they were quick to dodge the bullets.
"Damn it" She cursed as she equipped her knightmare with a spear. She charged against the MSF team.
"LOOK OUT!" Screamed one of the MSF soldiers. They dodged the spear, but it hit to the ground and the impact was so high that they felt like they were hit by a mortar.
"AAAHHH!" Some of them screamed from the injuries. Nonnette was about to take them down, but then an MBTK tank rammed her. The MBTK planned to push her to the ocean, but Nonnette managed to stop the tank by holding it with its arms.
"Tsk" Her Knightmare shot the slash harkens at the tank and it destroyed the cannon.
"Damn it! If only this tank had more projectiles!" One of the pilots cursed as for the reason why they decided to ram her, instead of shooting.
Nonnette's Gloucester fired its machine gun from the chest and caused damages to the tank.
"OH NO!" one of them screamed as the bullets managed to pierce the armor of the tank!
Nonnette's Knightmare jumped backwards as the MBTK was in flames.
*Boom!*
The tank exploded, thus making this the first MSF casualty. Then Nonnette proceeded to go to her next target.
"Damn" Noted Nonnette as her Knightmare was a little damaged, normally she wouldn't receive this kind of damage, but in this case, it happened.
3 MSF Glasgows saw the tank in flame, one of them was angry that 2 of his comrades were incinerated by the destruction of the tank.
"BASTARD!" The pilot charged at her.
"WAIT!" The other 2 followed him
She saw 3 MSF Glasgow charging at her with their guns aimed at her.
She quickly dodged the bullets and fired back at them. They moved aside from the bullets and attacked her with the slash harken. Nonnette jumped and shot with the machine gun at one of them.
"AAAH!" One of the MSF soldiers successfully managed to eject as the Glasgow exploded.
"Damn you!" One of them shot at her, but Nonnette made a maneuver to her Knightmares legs and made a roundhouse kick at the MSF Glasgow.
The pilot was able to block it with the fist, but it caused 10% damage to its left arm.
The other MSF Glasglow charged at her, but she grabbed its arm and slammed the MSF Glasgow against the other.
"AAAAH!" They screamed as they were hit against each other.
Nonnette kicked one of the MSF Knightmares head and was about to finish them off, but then an armored vehicle appeared from behind and started to gun her down.
"Again?" She said in annoyance as she charged at the armored vehicle and tackled it with her spear. It pierced the tank and it exploded. She was about to finish the 2 pilots from the Glasgows, but they were gone as she saw them run away.
She ignored them and dashed away to one of the barricades to meet with her comrades.
"How is the situation?" Asked Nonnette.
"So far, we have covered half of this platform, but it will take time to take cover this platform! These mercenaries are giving us a hard time!" Informed one Britannian soldier.
"I will provide support! All of you keep firing and push them until they retreat!" Commanded Nonnette as her Gloucester drew out its assault gun.
"What are you going to do, my lady?" Asked the Britannian soldier.
Nonnette inspected the battlefield with her Knightmare to locate the one who is in command, she moved her Knightmare's camera until she spot a certain black Gloucester with two giant revolvers.
"Im going for the big cheese" She pronounced as she loaded her Knightmare's gun and charged forward.

Ocelot shot one bullet which destroyed 2 Knightmares, but that wasn't doing much since more are still coming and the constant bullets coming from the gunships are not allowing his comrades to take a clear shot.
"Take down those VOTL gunships!" Commanded Ocelot.
Several MSF soldiers and the Ocelot unit shot the Stingers at the gunships taking down many of them, including the 20 VOTL's that served as the escorts.
"That should take care of it for a while" Thought Ocelot.
Ocelot saw the aircrafts and ships cornering the North, East and West side of Mother Base. He started to arrange the puzzle: the splitting forces of Britannia, the constant attack to this side of the base, and the neutral state of the Britannian forces cornering the base.
"Just as I suspected, they are trying to distract us so and force our forces to focus here so the others can attack the other sides of the base" Deduced Ocelot as he shot another bullet, which destroyed 6 Knightmares.
Ocelot shot at a ceiling from the structure to hit armored vehicle's fuel tank located behind it.
*Booom!*
It exploded, spreading fire at the Britannian soldiers.
"Major! We have a big problem!" One of the Ocelot unit members shouted in worry as he pointed at a certain direction.
Ocelot moved Leopardus camera in time to see what it was happening.
A blue Gloucester shot down 2 armored vehicles with its gun and then it destroyed a regular tank with just a bullet!
"Damn you!" An MSF pilot shouted from his Gloucester. He charged against the blue Gloucester while shooting at it. But the blue Gloucester was resistant against the bullets. It charged forward and was about to take down the MSF Gloucester.
"Jesus Christ!" He tried to dodge it, but the blue Gloucester quickly slashed at him. The pilot's cockpit ejected and landed several miles away.
Ocelot then decided what to do: face this Knightmare himself.
"Eco team" Ocelot called them. "Take command and hold the line. I'll handle this"
"Yes, Sir!"
And with that, the Leopardus went out and shot down 4 Sutherlands with 2 bullets from his revolver. He activated the landspinner and dashed to where the blue Gloucester was located.
Nonnette kept shooting at the MSF soldiers, she managed to injure some of them, but they were still pretty hard to hit them as they constantly move without stopping.
Suddenly an MSF Gloucester charged at her. Nonnette's Knightmare jumped as it dodged the MSF Knightmare.
She drew out a large spear and was about to impale it, but it quickly dodged.
Suddenly a bullet hit her Knightmare's arm.
"AAAH!" Nonnette quickly turned to the direction where the bullet came. She saw that the black Gloucester arrived with its revolver ready.
8 Britannian Glasgows and 2 armored vehicles fired at it, but Leopardus twirled his revolvers and fired 5 revolvers, each bullet hitting 2 targets.
And in an instant, all those units were blown by the bullets of Leopardus.
Nonnette prepared her weapons as it stood in front of her Knightmare with revolvers on hand.
"So, you must be the commander of this small army" Spoke Ocelot.
"And I assume that you must be the one who is in charge here" Replied Nonnette with her spear ready.
"General! Let us take care of him!" A Sutherland arrived with 10 more to Nonnette's side. At first Nonnette decided to send them against Ocelot, but she refrained not to do it.
"Go back to your missions soldiers! This one is mine, and I don't want any of you to interfere" Stated Nonnette, as they complied with her orders. They retreated, leaving her and Ocelot alone.
"I am Nonnette Eneagram! The Knight of Nine!" Said Nonnette with pride. Ocelot decided to play along.
"I am Revolver Ocelot, the best gunner in the world" Proclaimed Ocelot while twirling his revolvers.
"I heard of you, the famous man who almost killed Jeremiah Gottwald" Said Nonnette
"So he lived huh?"
"Yes, and in a very bad condition" Remarked Nonnette
"Tell me something, Knight of Nine, Why are you invading us? What do you gain by attacking us? Is this how Britannia repays us for sending back its soldiers unharmed after the Battle of Narita?" Questioned Ocelot. He obviously knew the reason why Britannia was invading Mother Base, he was trying to use his skills of deception to provoke the enemy or gain information.
"For the first question, this invasion is planned by his highness Schneizel. I was only assigned to assist him, along with another 2 Knights of Rounds." She answered.
"The second question, I'm doing this to protect my homeland Britannia, I'm fulfilling my duty as a Knight of Round. Your influences have unbalanced the power in the Britannia, Euro Universe and the Chinese Federation. I will do everything to keep the world as it was" She answered again. Most of it was true since she is more patriotic to her nation, even if the said nation is corrupt to its core.
"As for the last question…." She paused for a moment as she sighed.
"I have to admit. It is dishonorable to do this. But this is how our emperor and prince Schneizel want, and we can't turn our backs on them." She said with sadness at how Britannia was turning.
"So you decided to obey them, even if they are willing to sacrifice people. Is that how you want to live? All those bloods stained in your hands?"
Nonnette sighed.
"If that is what I must do to defend Britannia, then I will live with that burden"
"But enough chatting!" Nonnette charged at Ocelot with her spear on hand.
Ocelot dodged it by moving Leopardus to the left. He shot 2 bullets at her back, but she slashed them with her spear. She changed her spear with an assault gun and fired at him. Ocelot quickly dashed behind a small building of the platform and took cover. He saw a large tube on top of him, so he shot a bullet on it in order to ricochet it to her direction.
Nonette's Gloucester was able to detect the bullet and dodged it by moving the body to the left, even though she was able to dodge it; it grazed the chest of her Knightmare. But then the unexpected happened, the bullet hit a raised platform which caused it to ricochet vertically up to another tube and it ricocheted again causing it to go straight to her Knightmare's left leg.
"WHAT?!" Shouted Nonette in disbelief as the same bullet she dodged returned and it hit her Gloucester left leg, luckily it was reinforced with armor, but it caused almost 60% damage to that leg.
As she was distracted, Ocelot got out from his hiding and shot 4 bullets to different directions, 2 bullets to left and right at the same time and 2 on the ground. The 2 bullets shot to the left and right side headed to 2 separates raised platforms, causing it to ricochet vertically up again and doing the same thing he did previously, only this time it was on 2 directions which form a V. And the 2 bullets from the ground would reflect vertically to hit the upper body of her Gloucester.
Nonnette raised her spear to block the bullets. She successfully deflected them by moving circularly the spear.
The Leopardus dashed to tackle her. It raised its fist and sucker punched her on the head. But she parried his attack with her knightmare's left arm. Leopardus tried to hit her with the knee; she quickly jumped backward to avoid the attack.
She used her slash harken at him. Ocelot shot at the harkens and destroyed it, but Nonnette was using that as a cover. He quickly noticed that she had her spear ready to stab him.
"I've got you!" She said as she thrust her spear at him.
"I don't think so!" Ocelot quickly raised his two revolvers and blocked the spear by trapping the tip of it with the revolvers by forming a V.
"What?" Said Nonnette in shock, she never thought that he could block her spear that way. She pushed him; he landed a centimeter away while facing each other.
Unexpectedly, Nonnette started to blush in excitement; she never felt this kind of fight before, other than Cornelia. It seems that Ocelot is giving her a bigger challenge than her.
"You are pretty good" Admitted Ocelot. She is one of the few people who can fight toe to toe with him.
"I like you, my dear Ocelot" replied Nonnette with a seducing tone.
"What?" Ocelot was taken aback since he didn't expect that. So without any interruption ,they continued their fight.

Meanwhile in the East side

A Britannian captain stared at the platform as he waited for orders. Moments ago, he received a notification that Schneizel would change his plan if his original plan was not working out. So after splitting the Britannian naval to the east side, they waited.
He spotted the MSF navy in front of them. But they haven't done a move yet.
Suddenly he received a message from Schneizel.
"Captain, the time has come. Start the attack"
"It will be done, your highness" The captain acknowledge as he ordered the ships to fire at the MSF ships, and he also ordered other ships to engage the MSF navy.
"Here it come, boys!" Spoke Alligator as he prepared himself. The machine guns readied and prepared for any attack.
"Captain, now is the time to engage them" Alligator quickly contacted the captain of the navy.
"It will be done" Replied the MSF captain.
Soon enough, the Britannian ships fired first at the ships. The MSF navy quickly repelled the projectiles with their mounted guns.
*BAM!*
The projectiles exploded as they had contact with the bullets.
Then the several destroyers departed from the group to attack the platform.
"Now is the time, Kameraden!" Adalhelm prepared his Knightmare's machine gun and aimed at the projectiles. The Werewolves Company also prepared their machine guns and waited.
The ships commenced their attack as they fired their projectiles at the platform and the navy.
"Fire!" Shouted Adalhelm as all the machine guns and turrets fired at the projectiles.
The projectiles exploded as the bullets hit them.
"Aim at the turrets!" Commanded the Britannian captain. The cannons aimed at the turrets and fired.
"Incoming!" Shouted Adalhelm, they shot at the projectiles, but the Britannian aircrafts showed up and fired at them.
The aircrafts rained down bullets while the ships fired their projectiles.
"Damn it! They are applying the same strategy they did with Ocelot" Cursed Adalhelm.
"No kidding" Alligator commented as he loaded his assault rifle.
All the MSF soldiers took cover as the aircrafts fired at them.
Suddenly, the aircrafts fired their missiles at the platform.
"This is just perfect" Thought sarcastically Adalhelm. He prepared his Knightmare machine guns and aimed at the missiles.
"Alright boys! Just like in our practice! Shoot down the missiles!" Instructed Adalhelm. Everyone aimed at each missiles and shoot at them.

At the West side and the North side

"You are all allowed to fire" Shcneizel gave the orders to the ship captains and the aircraft pilots.
"Understood, my lord" The ships aimed at the platforms and fired, while the aircrafts commenced their assault.
"Here" Said Hedgehog from Alpha team

All the aircrafts started their full scale attack at Mother Base.
*Tratatatatata!*
Aircrafts rained bullets at the MSF forces.
Unlike the East side and the South side, they didn't have ships to defend them as most of the MSF navy force was deployed to other coasts.

Back to the East side

They were successful to shoot down as many as they could. But they were unable to continue, as the aircrafts arrived to shoot at them.
It got worse when the battleships fired again. They were able to destroy several missile launchers and anti air guns.
Adalhelm gritted his teeth seeing the base defense going down slowly.
"Bring the tanks! We must destroy the Britannian ships!" Commanded Adalhelm. 10 MBTK's arrived and aimed at the ships.
*BAM!*
The tanks fired and they were able to sink most of the ships.
"AAAHHH!" The Britannian captain was incinerated as the ship exploded from the sheer explosion of the MBTK's projectile.
But then, something bad happened. An aircraft holding Monica Kruzewski Knightmare was arriving slowly while holding some kind of rifle. It was emitting some kind of red energy as she pointed at the platform.
"Sir Adalhelm, look!" Said Alligator while pointing at the VOTL holding Monica.
"What the hell?" Said Adalhelm as he zoomed at the image.
"Oh, no. That weapon is similar to…" Alligator quickly called to all MSF soldiers.
"Everyone! Fall back!" Shouted Alligator.
"You know what that is?" Asked Adalhelm.
"Yes, it is some kind of weapon from the Knightmare Gawain"
"WHAT?!" Said in shock Adalhelm as he remembered the designs of that Knightmare inside the data given by Veg.
"We must withdraw our soldiers before they get hit by that weapon!"
"All Werewolf corps and MSF! Fall back! Don't let that weapon hit you!" Warned Adalhelm.
All the MSF and Werewolf corp soldiers withdrew while several of them tried to shoot at the Knightmare.
Monica aimed with precision at the platform in order to hit as many enemy soldiers as possible. She finished aiming and then pulled the trigger.
A large beam of red color was fired from the rifle held by Monica's Knightmare and hit several parts of the platform, destroying in the process 4 anti air guns and injuring several MSF and Werewolves corps soldiers.
"DAMN!" Adalhelm slammed the screen angrily as he saw that Knightmare destroying the defenses and injuring his comrades.
"Tend our wounded!" Ordered Alligator as several MSF soldiers took the injured soldiers.
"Commanders!" An MSF soldier arrived to inform Alligator and Adalhelm.
"Small ships have docked on the strut legs!"
"What? Since when…?" Adalhelm couldn't finish as another beam from the Knightmare shot again and made the platform tremble.
"Tell them to hold the line! Do everything they can to stop their advance!" Ordered Alligator.
The soldier nodded and left quickly to the lower levels of the platform.
"We must destroy that Knightmare!" Shouted Adalhelm as he switched his Knightmare's arm gun to rocket launchers..
All the MSF and Werewolves soldiers aimed with their rocket launchers at the Monica's Knightmare. They fired at her and the other aircrafts.
The missiles hit many targets, but none of them were able to hit Monica's Knightmare as the aircrafts covered her, as if they are using themselves as decoys to protect her.
Some MBTK's aimed at the aircrafts and fired. But it didn't do well as the aircrafts simply dodged the projectiles.
"Damn those VOTL's! They won't allow us a clear shoot!" Cursed Alligator.
Monica loaded her cannon again and aimed at the platform, this time she aimed at Alligator and Adalhelm.
"She is aiming at us, we must dodge that shoot" Said Alligator.
Suddenly Adalhelm's Knightmare arm missile launchers started to switch into some kind of cannon.
"What are you doing?" Asked Alligator
"Don't worry, let me handle this!" Adalhelm announced while targeting at the Knightmare.
Monica saw the Knightmare's rocket launchers on its arms switch into a cannon.
"This is bad" Commented Monica as she changed her target and focused at him.
When the beam was charged, she pulled the trigger and fired.
*BAM!*
"German beams are the best in the world!" Adalhelm shouted with pride as he fired the cannon.
*BAM!*
A green beam was fired from the cannon and it caused a clash with Monica's Knightmare beam.
"What?" Said in shock Monica, not believing that the Gawain cannon was halted by that cannon.
"Wow" Alligator awed at the power of Adalhelm's cannon. The MSF soldiers and Britannians were amazed for a second at this scenario, but they dismissed this as they continued the battle.
Suddenly the clash between the 2 beams finished as the beams vanished.
"Hmmmppf, I was hoping that this beam would defeat that Knightmare" Thought Adalhelm with disappointment. He was brought out of his thoughts when the aircrafts fired again.
Everyone took cover behind the buildings or the ramps.
" This isn't gonna work, we must prepare the terrain defense once they land on the platform"
"I hate to admit it, but you are right. We are just delaying the inevitable" Adalhelm admitted as he changed his Knightmare's cannon into machine guns.
" All troops! Maintain defense on the ground." Ordered Alligator.
The MSF soldiers and Werewolve corps soldiers stood down and reloaded their weapons, waiting for the aircrafts to land the platform.

As soon as the VOTL's arrived to the platform immediately, they dropped their Knightmares and quickly engaged the enemy, not giving them a chance to fight back.
Torrents of bullets were flying and hitting against the ramps and buildings that has MSF soldiers covering behind.
Some aircrafts arrived to the platform carrying barricades for the Britannians to take cover.
Alligator and Adalhelm shot with their Knightmare's guns at the enemy. They were able to take down 10 of them, giving chance for the MSF and the Werewolves corps to retaliate.
During the battle, Alligator received a message from Ocelot. It said that the chaff grenades are useless against Britannian since they have developed a device to counter the effects.
"Sir Adalhelm, I have bad news from Ocelot. Chaff grenades are useless against them. He said that they made some sort of device to counter it" Informed Alligator.
"I see, we will have to handle this with our own strategy" Adalhelm drew out a flash bang grenade
"Grenade!" Screamed a Britannian soldier.
*BANG!*
The flash bang grenade exploded, blinding many Britannian soldiers.
"AAAAAH! My eyes!" The Britannians covered their eyes from the flash.
"Now! Throw the chaff grenades!" Commanded Adalhelm.
Soon, MSF soldiers drew out some chaff grenades at threw it at the Sutherlands, deactivating 10 of them.
"Stupid mercenaries, we already have this to counter this grenade" Said with a smirk a Britannian pilot as he activated the device.
But as soon as he activated it, 8 MSF Sutherlands shot slash harkens at them. It attaches their backs and quickly pulled them down in order to make them fall.
"WHAT?!" Said in shock the Britannian pilot as he was being gunned down by MSF foot soldiers.
The other 2 Knightmares ,that weren't caught by the slash harkens, were treated differently. 4 MSF foot soldiers shot grappling hooks at them, 2 on each Knightmare.
The Knightmares started to shoot at them with their assault guns, but the 4 MSF soldiers activated the retracting button which made them dash forward at a high speed and dodge the bullets.
The 4 MSF soldiers drew out their MG3 and shoot at the Knightmares when they dashed in between the legs of the Knightmares.
"Impossib-"One of the pilots didn't finish as the 2 Knightmares exploded when the bullets pierced the core of the Knightmare.
The 4 MSF soldiers jumped forward as soon as the grappling hook unattached the Knightmares while both exploded. They landed on the ground with style.
"Good job!" Praised Alligator from behind them.
The 4 MSF soldiers gave thumbs up and quickly resumed the battle.
Even though MSF was handling it well, the situation was getting bad since more Knightmares and foot soldiers kept coming. All MSF soldiers were handling the situation, but they were slowly losing the platform.
5 MBTK's fired at 5 Knightmares, causing those Knightmares explode while taking along with them several Britannians, but suddenly 10 Gloucesters appeared with spears ready to stab the tanks. The MBTKS changed their direction and fired at them. 3 Gloucesters fell, but the rest were able to get close to the tanks and stabbed the MSF tanks.
5 MSF soldiers used rocket launchers at the Britannian armored vehicle. It was destroyed, then 3 more arrived as they fired at the MSF soldiers. They quickly shot at them while the armored vehicles shot back. 3 of them got injured while the other 2 were killed by the bullets, the missiles were able to hit vehicles causing them explode, thus making the fallen MSF soldiers effort not in vain.
Alligator and Adalhelm were doing everything they could, but it was getting harder with every Britannian landing on the platform.
"Sir Adalhelm, we are being overrun by them. It's only a matter of time before they took this platform, we will have no choice but to retreat" Said Alligator not liking the idea.
"As much as I hate to admit it, you are right. Still, we must keep fighting, we've got to give Big Boss more time for him to appear!" Said Adalhelm as he destroyed 4 aircrafts with his Knightmares machine guns.

Monica Kruzewski arrived to the platform with the Gawain rifle beam on her Knightmares hand.
"What a mess" Said Monica as she inspected the situation. There were debris almost everywhere, and the casualties are mostly Britannians.
She aimed her rifle at a group of MSF soldiers: 10 foot soldiers, 3 Knightmares, 3 armored vehicles and 2 tanks.
Then she pulled the trigger.
*BAAAMM!*
The large red beam was fired at them.
One of the MSF soldiers in that group noticed the Knightmare before the beam was fired.
"Look out!" Warned the MSF soldier. They saw her, but it was too late when the beam hit them.
"AAAAAAHHHH!" They all screamed as the beam devoured them and caused explosions from mechanical units.
Adalhelm and Alligator saw in shock how destructive was the Knightmare's weapons.
"NO!" Said in anger Adalhelm no longer to resist watching his comrades die with his own eyes.
He activated his Panzer's landspinner and dashed to Monica's location.
"Wait, Adalhelm!" Shouted Alligator in vain.
"You take care of our forces! I'll deal with this low some piece of filth!" Said Adalhelm in anger while charging at the Knightmare.
Monica was about to shot another round until she saw a Panzer coming straight to her right side while shooting missiles, terminating many Britannian soldiers.
She quickly changed her target and aimed at him. She fired, but the Panzer was dashing so fast, it managed to dodge the beam by going to the left side, and so instead of killing him, it killed many Britannian soldiers.
"Damn it!" Said Monica angrily at her mistake. She withdrew the rifle and equipped with the Knightmare's vibration swords as the Panzer stopped in front of her.
"Finally I reached you, now I will avenge my fallen comrades who fell on your hands" Said Adalhelm with determination.
"I presume that you must be the one in command here" Spoke Monica.
"A woman?" Thought Adalhelm. He normally doesn't fight with women, but in this case he will have to make an exception.
"Who are you?" Questioned Monica.
"I am Rudolf von Adalhelm, leader of the Werewolve corps mercenary faction, as well as one of Big Boss trusted friends"
"Werewolve corps?" Thought Monica, recalling that she heard that name before.
"I am the Knight of Twelve, Monica Kruszewski"
"One of the Knights. No wonder you were able to destroy a good portion of my forces" Said Adalhelm as he prepared his Panzer from any attack from Monica.
"Your group, the Werewolves corps, have they attacked 10 years ago Berlin? The capital city of Germany of the EU"
"Hmm, I don't remember well what happened 10 years ago, but I did attack Berlin with a small group of soldiers" Replied Adalhelm.
"I knew it, you are the terrorists I have been looking for" Said bitterly Monica as she gripped the controllers of her Knightmare.
"Huh? Wait… I remember now. That was the time when I bombed the Reichstag with all those politics" Said Adalhelm remembering that event.
"Many good people died there because of your terrorism" Spat out Monica. Long before she became a Knight of Round, she was a girl who visited EU with her family. She was with her mother in the Reichstag until she got lost. She was running around in the building watching the whole decoration of the Reichstag, when it suddenly happened.
A wall exploded , startling her and making her fall on the ground. Luckily, she wasn't hurt. She had her eyes closed initially. Then she slowly opened her eyes only to see flames and bodies of people scattered around, she spotted her mom amongst them.
She cried for her mom for several seconds. Then she saw that from the destroyed walls, some people with a military outfit got out and pointed their weapons around. They ran away, most likely because they accomplished their mission. Monica was able to notice the symbol and insignia of the soldiers "Werewolve Corps"
"I see, you must have been one of the survivors. Are you looking for revenge?" Asked Adalhelm.
"Indeed" Then Monica quickly charged at him, hoping to take him down in this very moment.
The Panzer quickly jumped back while firing at her with the hip mounted machine gun.
It didn't do much damage.
"There is also a question. Why are you and your group still alive? All the records in Britannia said that this terrorist group was exterminated a long time ago!" She exclaimed, even though she felt that he was still alive, all this time.
"It's simple. We infiltrated your data base and changed it!" He laughed as he pointed at her on the screen as if he is laughing at her face, though she cant see what he was doing.
"You dare to make a fun of me?!" She barked as she attempted to slash him.
"You wont defeat us so easily, we are the best in the world! Fräulein!" Proclaimed Adalhelm while taunting at her.
"RAAAAARRR!" Roared Monica angrily while attacking him.

In the West side

The situation on the West side of Mother Base is relatively the same with the other sides of Mother Base. All the MSF units where fighting back against the swarms of Britannian aircrafts and ground units. The VOTL's were able to land on the platforms and fight against MSF, with many Britannian casualties and very few from MSF. The reason there were less MSF casualties is due the mercenary faction, The Forgotten Knights. Not only its members fight well, but they are also equipped with a special armor that can withstand bullets and explosions, but it makes them a little bit slower than a standard soldier and Knightmare.
"Damn it! What are these soldiers made of?!" Said in shock one of the Britannian soldiers as he fired with his machine gun at 4 Forgotten Knights soldiers. The bullets just bounced against their armor as they walked while firing at them.
The Knightmares are even worse; their armor is stronger than the ones from the foot soldiers and it would take like a lot of fire power to cause a serious damage.
They were basically walking tanks.
The MSF soldiers were surprised at such protective equipments. With this armor, it could make their battle armor a run for its money.
Gregory and Mosquito were covering behind some ramps with 3 MSF soldiers.
"I must say, your soldiers are really something" Said Mosquito with an amazed tone.
"Yeah, I made sure that all of them are safe during battles" Replied Gregory as he reloaded his machine gun.
*BOOM!*
A projectile hit a building located behind them. They peeked and saw that the Britannians borught 5 tanks.
"Great, they brought tanks" Said Gregory.
"From here we can't destroy them; I must do it at a close range." Said Mosquito.
"Alright, destroy those tanks while I cover you" Replied Gregory as Mosquito nodded.
Mosquito drew out and threw a grenade, concentrated with Sakuradite, to a group of 4 armored vehicles.
*BOOM!*
A large explosion destroyed that group of armored vehicles. With that, Mosquito activated his Knightmares rocket propellers and flew, along with 6 MSF Gloucesters Knightmares.
The tanks were formed in a vertical line, so they landed behind them. Then they proceeded to destroy the tanks. 2 of the tanks were destroyed by the piercing bullets of the MG3, 2 was destroyed by rocket launchers and the last one was destroyed by Gregory, by inserting a grenade from the cannon.
Gregory was covering them from the ramp. He managed to destroy every single one Knightmare that got close to the group with Mosquito. He was pleased until he saw something.
A large group of Britannian infantry appeared from the left side of Mosquito and his group.
His gun couldn't hit them, so he had to warn him.
"Mosquito! Look out!" Gregory warned to him as some Britannian soldiers aimed their rocket launchers at them.
Mosquito and his group were lucky enough to notice them, so they activated their propellers and flew up while dodging the missiles.
None of the missiles was able hit them, so in retaliation, Mosquito and his group fired their own rocket launchers at them.
The impact caused a small, but big flame. They landed in front of the flame, when they saw a Knightmare silhouette with a spear. They readied their weapons to fire, but then suddenly, the Knightmare dashed so fast that it destroyed one of the Knightmares.
Fortunately the cockpit of the MSF pilot flew away from the Knightmare.
Then when the flame dispersed allowing a clear view of the Knightmare.
The Knightmare was a Gloucester but the color of the Knightmare was red, almost like blood.
"HEehehehehehehe" Luciano chuckled like a maniac through the speaker.
Mosquito prepared his Knightmare as he is the one who is almost in front of Luciano.
"All of you retreat! This man is very dangerous, I'll handle him"
"Yes,sir!"
The MSF Sutherlands activated its rocket propellers and flew away from them.
"I'll kill you first!" Luciano pronounced as he charged at Mosquito.
Luciano took out his spear and started to thrust it at him. Mosquito drew out a combat knife and parried his attacks.
"Good, you want to fight with a knife, huh?" Luciano withdrew the spear as he quickly out a knife and they started to have a fight with knives.
"He is too fast!" Thought Mosquito almost desperately since his attacks are too quick for him to counter.
Suddenly, Luciano drew out another knife with his other hand and stabbed his Knightmares knee.
"WHAT?!" Said in shock Mosquito as his Knightmare fell down and Luciano pinned him down with his knife on his left hand.
"Time to die!" Luciano was about to stab on the Knightmares chest, until he was tackled by Gregory.
Gregory grabbed Mosquito Knightmare's hand and lifted him up.
"Are you alright?" Asked Gregory.
"Yeah, I'm sorry, he is too powerful for me to face" Said Mosquito sadly.
"It's fine. Is your Knightmare still functioning?" Asked Gregory.
"It's fine, just a small damage"
"Go help the rest, I'll handle this maniac myself" Gregory prepared his Knightmares as Luciano was recovering from the impact.
Mosquito left once Luciano was back up.
"And who are you supposed to be?" Spoke Luciano with an annoying tone due to the interruption of him about to kill Mosquito.
"I am Gregory Charles, leader of the mercenary faction, The Forgotten Knights, and I won't let you kill my friends with such despicable tactics" Introduced Gregory with a bitter tone, he already disliked this guy when he observed that he doesn't fight with honor.
"Then allow me to present myself. I am the Knight of Ten, Luciano Bradley!" Proclaimed Luciano with a melodramatic act.
"So you are one of the Knight of Round, huh? The famous "Vampire of Britannia"" Said Gregory remembering the rumors about this Knight of Round. If it was true, then he must be extremely careful with him.
"That is correct!" He said playfully, and then he stopped as he inspected Gregory's Knightmare.
"Huh, how quaint, another Knight, like me. A disgraced knight may I add" Taunted Luciano.
"What?" Gregory glared at him.
"A knight such as you should be fighting in our side, instead you are fighting with this terrorists you call "friends""
"Britannia is nothing but a corrupted nation. They only care for power and would desert its own people to save their skin. Unlike Militaire Sans Frontiére, they are good people, they help civilians and soldiers whether their allies or enemies. Besides, I wouldn't want to stay close to you. You are the most despicable man I have ever known. You would use your own compatriot to get your goal. Just like a vampire sucking the blood of its victim" Gregory explained as he drew out his spear
Luciano was feeling excited since he can fight a strong enemy.
"I will enjoy tearing you apart!" Luciano drew out 2 knives on his hands and charged at him.
Gregory charged too and then they clashed with their respective weapons.

Meanwhile with Schneizel

Schneizel stared at the battle while planning his next moves.
So far, everything seems to be in his favor, although very slowly. He was aware that he was spending a lot of soldiers and units, but sacrifice must be done in order to gain his objectives. Also, he didn't care much of them since Britannia has the largest supplies of soldiers and vehicles at his disposal. It could be said that the forces he sent to engage the enemy is just the half as he has more soldiers inside his flagship The Avalon.
"Pardon me, your highness, but the reporters would like to ask some questions about the situation" Spoke Kanon.
"Let them ask" Allowed Schneizel.
Harry Nosam and the other reporters arrived and started to ask him the questions.
"Excuse me, your highness, for interrupting this important event, but we should let our people know what is happening currently at the Militaire Sans Frontiéres base."
"It's alright, I also felt that our people should know what is currently happening"
"So, your highness, for what we can see, our Britannian army is starting to get the advantage in this invasion. But not without a high price. Hundreds of Britannian fell at the hands of Militaire Sans Frontiéres and the number is increasing with every second it passes. Isn't there another way to prevent these casualties?"
"I'm very aware of this situation. Sadly, there is no other way to prevent this awful lose we are having. I really wished there was other way, but after all the planning I had to formulate; this is the only way." Explained Schneizel sadly.
"But nonetheless, our soldiers are fighting for our safety, for the safety of our homeland Britannia. They are sacrificing their lives for the good of our people" Said Schneizel with a charismatic tone.
"That is really inspiring, your highness" Said Harry
Schneizel smiled at them, while inside his mind, he wasn't telling the entire truth. The whole "sacrifice" was just a screen to cover what he really thought. Soldiers are nothing but pawns in his hands to gain power. Although he has a certain value for soldiers since without them; Britannia wouldn't have been able to acquire all those territories.
Schneizel stared at his screen with every side of the MSF base being depicted on various small screens. Amongst the image was: Ocelot fighting Nonnette, Monica fighting Adalhelm, Luciano fighting Gregory and many MSF fighting Britannians.
"Once the base is gone, the next target will be Big Boss and Zero" Thought Schneizel with a smirk. Everything is happening according to his plans.

I hope the long waiting was worth it. Since I'm on vacation now, I will try to update more. I don't want to give false promises, but I'll do my best to post it soon. I just hope they don't give me works.
Important: My grandpa passed away this Thursday July 15, he was 99 years old. That is another reason why my chapter has delayed more.
RIP Grandpa, I'll miss you.
