Side Story: Mission in Africa

In the African continent, on the Congo Region, specifically the part close to the Gabon region, the MSF forces, consisted of Ocelot ,Lioness, Liz, Alpha Team and members of the Lions of Khalahari, arrived to the coasts of Moanda by helicopters. Their first objective is to find any clue of the "Metal Demon". So they would have to investigate, which includes asking the locals, interrogating the higher Britannian officers or, if they need to, rumors.
"We will be arriving to Moanda soon, so sit tight." Spoke the pilot.
Lioness, Liz and her soldiers wore the standard uniform of Lions of the Khalahari, while Alpha team wore the standard MSF fatigue uniform and Ocelot wore his old Ocelot Unit uniform, without his hat.
"So, Lioness, brief us about this "Metal Demon"" Said Ocelot. For every mission they take, MSF members could either use their real name or nickname to contact each other, in case of Shira and Elizabeth, they decided to use their codenames or nicknames to talk to each other whenever they are on duty.
Lioness sighed as she closed her eyes. It was going to be painful for her to tell them about this "Metal Demon" since it was responsible for the destruction of her village and the deaths of her family and friends.
"The Metal Demon is a Knightmare, one I have never seen before. It has characteristics that resemble a Sutherland, but the head's different and sleeker along with the body. It's like a combination between the Sutherland and the Lancelot. It's colored black with the Britannian insignia on its shoulders. It's equipped with a cannon that resembles the Varys, machineguns on the shoulders and its melee weapons are metallic claws coming out of its knuckles"
Ocelot put his left hand on his chin as he thought about it. The way Lioness described the Knightmare sounded very dreadful. A combination of The Sutherland and the Lancelot,this branch of Britannian researchers must have spent a fortune to create something like that. It would also mean a new acquisition if he and the rest of the MSF manage to pull this off.
"Sounds very dangerous. Where was the last time you saw the Metal Demon?" Asked Ocelot.
"Last time I saw it, it was somewhere near Kinshasa of the Congo River. It walked away and disappeared in the jungle."
"Hmmm, at least we know where to start" Said Ocelot as he thought about his plan.
Once they arrived, they stepped out of the helicopters and unloaded all their supplies. The Lions of Khalahari were dressed in brown military fatigue with some black stripes and Alpha team wore the MSF green fatigue. In total, there were 30 people, including Ocelot, Lioness and Liz.
"Ahhh, It has been a while since we visited Moanda" Said Lioness to Liz with a nostalgic tone.
"Yeah! I wonder how is Allen after such a long time" Said happily Liz.
The two remembered this man, Allen Mumbani, a Europian commander who leads a small rebel group of Africans. The two met him during their time before forming the mercenary faction. This man helped them by providing shelter and info about anything related to the Metal Demon. After spending a lot of time with Allen, he became like a foster father for the 2 women. The 2 left the small rebel group to their separate ways and to form their own mercenary group.
The MSF soldiers and Ocelot finished unloading all the supplies and were now prepared. Ocelot bid farewell to the helicopters as they all started to hover.
The helicopters left the coast as the group stared at the aircrafts flying away.
"Let's get moving" Commanded Ocelot as they started to walk to the jungle.
Lioness and Liz lead the group since they know very well this place during their time in Africa. They walked for 10 minutes until they came across a small hill. Ocelot motioned them to stay alert as he saw lights from over there.
Ocelot, Lioness and Liz decided to be the first ones to investigate. They slowly lied down on the ground and crawled to the hill. Once they reached to the top, they drew out their binoculars and saw through it.
They saw a small village. They could see that the villagers were almost naked, only wearing clothing to cover their private parts. They were natives as it turns out.
"Those are natives" Said Liz.
"We can go and ask them about the Metal Demon" Said Lioness as she was about to stand up.
Suddenly Ocelot stopped her.
"Wait!"
"What is it?" Whispered Lioness.
"Over there" Ocelot said as he stared to the left side of the village. The women turned their gaze to where Ocelot said.
They saw several small lights getting closer to the village; it was also accompanied with dusts from the ground.
Ocelot zoom his binoculars to see it more clearly and he saw that those were trucks, with Britannian soldiers.
The villagers were alerted by the presence. As if knowing what it was going to happen, they all screamed in terror and tried to run away. But they were cornered by trucks with the Britannians ready to shoot them.
Ocelot, Lioness, Liz and the rest watched how the natives were taken and dragged by the Britannians into a circular group and cornered them.
The Britannians aimed at the group and then fired at them without mercy.
*TRATATATATATATATATATA*
Liz and Lioness stared in horror at the slaughtering, while Ocelot and the MSF soldiers were taking it better than them. They were no stranger to this kind of scenario since all the MSF members were formerly veteran soldiers, spies, agents or regular mercenaries.
"This is horrible" Said Liz with a shocking tone. Lioness comforted her by rubbing her hand on Liz's shoulder.
After several seconds, the massacre was over as the Britannians left the place.
"Let's move, there is nothing we can do about it" Said Ocelot as he got up.
"Y-yeah" Said Lioness bitterly. This massacre reminded her childhood when her family were attacked by the Metal Demon.
"Shira, you ok?" Asked Liz with concern as she put her left hand on her right shoulder. Lioness replied by raising her left hand and rest it on Liz's hand.
"I'm alright, my dear" Liz smiled at that.
And so, the group resumed their travel through the jungle of Moanda. In occasions they would rest and eat every 2 hours to regain their strength. The jungle was vast so they have to stick together, although it wouldn't be a problem for Ocelot and the Alpha team.
During the journey, they encountered other villages. Some of them were hostiles, and others were friendlier. It took a moment for Ocelot to ease the tension with the hostile villages to welcome them, but the villagers remained alert in case the group has malicious intents. They didn't get anything useful about the Metal Demon, but they did get info about why the Britannians were attacking the villages. It was revealed that the Britannians were looking for the rebel group, the same one that Lioness and Liz mentioned during the briefing. They attack the natives in order to gain information, if they didn't get anything, they eliminate them, and hence why these villages were very hostiles.
After resting inside the village, they bid farewell to the natives. Their only lead was still the Congo River, so they decided to enter deeply into that territory.
The group walked through the jungle for several hours, with no indication of natives, which means that they are about to enter the Congo River. While walking, they exited the jungle as they came across a cliff. Ocelot, Lioness and Shira walked closer to see the giant river.
"We are finally here, The Congo River" Said Lioness as she and the rest admired the view.
Some of the members dropped to the ground in exhaustion.
"Commander Ocelot, we should rest, we have been walking for hours" Requested one of them.
Ocelot checked through the cliff to see if there is a place where they can rest.
"Down there, there's a wellspring, we can refill our canteens and rest" Informed Ocelot.
The group entered back inside the jungle and went down to the wellspring. Once they have reached to the wellspring, they all sat down, finally to get some rest.
"Alright, we've got only 15 minutes of rest. So do whatever you have to do" Spoke Ocelot.
The group settled down as they refilled their canteen, checked their ammunitions, ate food or taken a small nap.

Lioness and Liz sat down as they stared at the wellspring. The small waterfall gave them a sense of peacefulness.
Lioness reached out to her collar on the neck and took it out to stare at it. The collar had a small golden medallion, with the face of a lion and on its eyes were rubies.
"You still have the medallion" Spoke Liz as she stared at it.
Lioness smiled as she replied.
"Yeah, dad gave it to me. He said that this medallion belonged to our family for centuries, it was said that it would give good fortune to whomever posses it" Lioness trailed her index finger on it. "And I believe that it's true"
Liz leaned her head on Lioness shoulder.
"It gave us a home, a man whom we can follow and most importantly, a purpose" Lioness tightened her grip.
"I miss him so much, Shira" Liz started to sob softly. Lioness rubbed Liz's head.
"Me too, my love"
Lioness's eye flared with determination. "We will finally be able to avenge our family, Liz. The Metal Demon will be destroyed and our family and friends souls will finally be able to rest in peace"
"And it will happen" Spoke Ocelot as he walked to them. Liz and Lioness raised their heads to look at him.
"You two and your soldiers are now one of us. We are a family and we take care of each other" Said Ocelot. Normally he doesn't involve so much with other soldiers. But these two women, who lost nearly everything, have shown strength and never gave up.
Lioness smiled as some tears fell from her eyes "I'm forever in debt with you and Big Boss. Never have I met a man who is willing to save us from torments."
Ocelot smiled softly "Big Boss values his fellow soldiers. He knows how it felt like being used. He does not wish for any soldiers to become the tools of the government or anyone else."
Lioness smiled as she nodded. "I'm glad to have lived long enough to meet such man. After this is over, i will open up and trust my new family. I won't abandon them when they need me"
Ocelot patted on Lioness shoulder and left them alone. Liz and Lioness stared back at the waterfall. They could feel it; this nightmare was coming to an end.

After 15 minutes, everyone were fully rested as they got up and were about to continue the journey.
Ocelot, Lioness and Liz were in front of the group, until he stopped.
"Stop" Said Ocelot as he raised his left hand.
"What is it?" Asked Lioness. Ocelot slowly moved his head, as if he was detecting something.
"Prepare your weapons, we are not alone" Said Ocelot as he moved his hands to his revolvers.
Everyone prepared their guns.
"You can all come out! We know that you are tailing us!" Shouted Ocelot to his surroundings.
No one replied for several seconds, but then, people started to reveal themselves from behind the trees.
There were 10 people, each of them wearing dark green cloaks to camouflage with the environment, underneat their cloak they wore brown military pants,brown gloves and they have guns on their hands, most likely guerrilla outfits.
Then in front of the group, 3 more of these soldiers approached along with a distinguish man.
"Im surprised that you guys were able to discover us, and during night time, not many are able to accomplish such feat" Said the man with a satisfied tone.
The man looked European, he was a big man, not as big as Zangief, but he was muscular, he wore a brown European fatigue military outfit, he was bald, with a strong jaw, dark brown eyes, big eyebrows and a small beard.
"Wait, Allen? Is that you?!" Said in surprise Liz and Lioness.
"Heheehehe, I was going to surprise you two" Chuckled Allen.
The Liz ran straight to him as she hugged him. Lioness simply walked next to him and punched lightly his arm in a greeting manner.
"Hahahaha, there is my cute little sis" Said Allen as he patted her head.
"And my grumpy sis Shira" Teased Allen which caused her to groan in annoyance.
Allen motioned his soldiers to lower their guns, which they did. This eased the tension as Ocelot, Alpha team and the other soldiers to put down their guns.
"Looks like you made plenty of friends." Asked Allen as he stared at the group.
"Yeah, Allen, we also decided to expand ourselves, by joining the greatest mercenary nation, Militaire Sans Frontieres" Said Lioness.
"Oh yeah?" Allen stared at Ocelot and Alpha Team. "I'm really impressed how this guy was able to discover my troop's hideouts. Looks like these mercenaries are no jokes after all"
Ocelot laughed softly as he walked towards him.
"Well, it's always good to deliver good first impressions"
"That is true. I'm Allen Mumbani, leader of the Free Africa Movement" Introduced Allen to Ocelot as he let out his hand for a handshake.
"I'm Shalashaska Ocelot, but you can call me Ocelot. I'm Big Boss's right hand" Said Ocelot as he shook his hand.
"It's a real pleasure to meet the right hand of the legendary soldier Big Boss" Said Allen, feeling honored to meet MSF.
"So, what are you two doing back here in Africa?" Allen asked to Liz and Lioness.
"We came back to finish off our family's nightmare, the Metal Demon" Said Lioness with a serious tone.
Allen's face became serious at that.
"I see" Said Allen with a serious tone. During the time when the 2 women stayed with him, they told him their tragic story, so he knows how much this meant for both.
Allen motioned the group to follow him.
"Come, I have something that will help you, I'll explain you all about it when we reach my base" Said Allen. Liz and Lioness were surprised that Allen found something related to the Metal Demon. The group followed Allen and his soldiers deep into the jungle.

Meanwhile, in a Black Site, close to the Congo River
…
Inside an office of a facility known as "The Black Site" sat a middle aged man with a white Britannian lab coat. He has short gray hair, blue eyes with thick glasses, light skin, and his face shows nothing but cold and calculated look. This man is the director of the Black Site, Krennic Simmons.
Currently, Simmons was analyzing the latest reports; he had mixed opinions about the reports. The good ones were the results of his Knightmare, the so called "Metal Demon". He felt satisfied that his Knightmare was able to get excellent performances after so many upgrades. Soon he would be able to mass produce it and get a higher position from the royal family.
But on the other hand, he got reports from the other research facilities across the worlds, which are the ones who help him fund his researches. Many of them were attacked, destroyed or assaulted by the mercenary nation, Militaire Sans Frontieres.
Simmons stared at the reports in anger; the appearance of this mercenary nation not only caused trouble to Britannia, but also inspired the people to take action against the Britannian empire. In a way, they reignited the ideals of the failed "Washington Rebellion". This became a motivation for him to quickly finish his Knightmare, as well as his "other project", to crush that nation.
Suddenly, the door of his office slid open, revealing to be a Britannian general with black short hair with a Britannian cap, this man is known as General Veers.
"Director Simmons, sir" Saluted the general.
"What news do you bring? And it better be good" Said Simmons with a harsh tone. General Veers gulped nervously as he spoke.
"We, haven't found him yet, sir" Said Veers with a nervous tone.
Simmons closed his eyes as he sighed.
"Are you for real? A scientist escaped not 4 hours ago, and you can't find him?!" Spoke Simmons, the last part with an angered tone.
General Veers closed his eyes harshly as he took the anger of Simmons.
"This time the scientist did something that no one would have thought, Director Simmons" Said Veers as firm as possible.
"And what would that be?" Said Simmons with anger.
"The scientist used a decoy. He fooled the guards by placing the decoy in the bed, covered with a blanket to simulate he was sleeping." Explained Veers.
Simmons calmed down a little and shook his head lightly, but he was still angry.
"I expected more than this general Veers. Your job is to keep from anyone of finding out about my Knightmare and my experiments. If the news about what I have been doing in Africa reaches to the outside, all my secrecy and efforts will go to waste!" Said Simmons again with anger.
"I assure you sir, the scientist will be found, and silenced"
"It better be, otherwise you and your soldiers will pay the consequences" Warned Simmons.
Then, the door opened again by a Britannian scientist.
"Director Simmons, forgive my intrusion, but we have received urgent news" informed the scientist.
Simmons let out a small sigh. Then he motioned the soldier to speak about it.
"We received news that the Subject 22 , also known as "Durge" was killed in action" informed the scientist.
This surprised Simmons since Durge was one of the best test subjects of his experiment. The experiment was the use of an improved serum to skyrocket the sense and strength of an individual, but with side effects, such as turning the color of the blood from red to black and features that one would think it was caused by a "mutation"
"Uuuuh" Sighed Simmons "One of my best subjects who survived the procedure, killed in action. What a waste" Said Simmons with a disappointed tone.
"How?" Asked Simmons.
"He fought against a man; he wore golden knight armor with the insignia of Militaire Sans Frontieres"
Simmons gritted his teeth in anger. He should have thought that the mercenary nation would be involved.
"And regarding to the mercenaries, they are trying to find this place" informed the scientist.
"These mercenaries are starting to become annoying and it's only a matter of time before they find this facility" Said Simmons in annoyance.
"No matter, the next batch will solve that problem. Prepare the Subject 23, I'll give them something to remember" Instructed Simmons confident that this one will be able to finish off the mercenaries.
"Yes, sir" the scientist left.
"General Veers, in case they show up, I want my ship, Artemis, on standby, load all the data's of the experiment and the Knightmare to the ship"
"Yes, sir"
With everyone present was gone. Simmons sat back on his chair and looked at a monitor. He stared at what is known as the Subject 23, the subject stronger and durable than Durge.

The group followed Allen. They reached to a section where there were a lot of trees with giant trunks and leaves. Allen motioned his soldiers to return to their outposts and then motioned the group to follow him deeper into the forest.
After walking for a minute, the group were greeted with a small military camp composed by the rebels.
"Nothing has changed since we left" Said Lioness, remembering the last time she was here.
"Hehehe, we kept a low profile so the Britannians wouldn't find us" Allen said. Then he turned to the MSF and members of the Lions of Khalahari.
"For those who are new, I welcome you to the Free African Movement base" Introduced Allen.
Allen started to walk forward to the camp as the rest followed him.

The group saw the rebels doing their daily works such as retrieving provisions, rebels training with other rebels, doing target practice and repairing machines.
"Come on boys! This way!" A rebel soldier motioned his fellow comrades to follow him to somewhere.
"Recharge it once it stopped firing!" One of rebels instructed a recruit how to p´roprely reload a weapon.
They saw 2 soldiers having a training session.
"AAAAH!"
"HAAAHH!"
"Take this engine out, it's broken" One of them told the other to take the engine out of a vehicle.
"All new recruits come over here!" Shouted a commander to the new recruits.
"Work complete!"
"Dabu!"
"I can't build there, sir!"
The group could only hear gibberish during those works.
"Wow, they are more hard-working than I remember" Commented Liz.
"Yup, we decided to be more active to attack the Britannians, tons of soldiers left their outposts to return to the mainland" Said Allen.
"Really, any reason why they have done that?" Asked Lioness.
"Oh yeah, and a good one" Allen then turned his head to the MSF group with a grin.
"It's all thanks to Militaire Sans Frontieres. You guys managed to beat Britannia when they invaded your home. It cost them half of their army and equipment, and it made many Britannian soldiers to return to the mainland to replenish the losses, which means that the moment, there are only a quarter of soldiers stationed on each Areas. "Said Allen happily.
"Hehehe, you are very welcome" Said Ocelot as he chuckled at the compliment.
They kept walking until they stopped in front of a store room; Allen opened it, revealing stairs that goes downstairs.
They walked down the stairs to a door, Allen opened the door to reveal that the basement is serving as a communication post. There were operators adjusting frequencies of the radios and calling through radios.
"Not bad" Commented Ocelot.
"Thanks! My boys worked on these radios everyday" Replied Allen.
"So Allen, can you tell us what do you have that would be useful for us? Now that we are alone here" Spoke Lioness a little impatience.
"Well, I guess we can now" Said Allen as he decided to tell them.
"We found a scientist who knows the whereabouts of the Metal Demon" This revelation shocked Liz and Lioness. Both couldn't believe how fortunate they were.
"But there is more, he also knows the man who created the Metal Demon" Added Allen. This shocked even more to them. They have now the opportunity to terminate the man who made their lives a living hell.
"Where is he?!" Asked impatiently Lioness.
"He is over there, in that room. He asked us for protection when we found him"
Lioness was about to rush to that door and meet him. But Liz stopped her before Lioness does something rash.
"Wait, Shira!"
"What are you doing?! We must go and meet this man!" Almost yelled Lioness.
"I know, but you must calm down" Said Liz.
"Calm down?!" Questioned Lioness.
"Shira, I know how much this means to you. I also want to go meet this scientist as bad as you, but please Shira, calm down before you do something that you may regret" Reasoned Liz. Lioness heard her as she slowly breathed and calmed.
"You're right. Im sorry Liz, I just…wanted to end this nightmare"
"I know" Liz then hugged Lioness.
"Let's go my sis, destiny waits" Said Allen as he walked to the door.

After the door was opened, a man wearing a Britannian scientist outfit sat on a metallic chair. He looked like a middle aged man, with messy black hair, brown eyes, big eyebrows, medium sized nose and a strong jaw.
He raised his head to see who entered the room.
"Hi there, doc" Greeted Allen.
"Commander Mumbani, anything new?" Asked the scientist.
"Sort of, we found a way to protect you from the Britannians" The scientist then looked at him surprised.
"Really? How?!" Asked in a surprised tone.
"I've encountered with an old friend of mine who can help." Allen moved away to show him Lioness, Liz and Ocelot.
"Hi there, my name is Lioness. Im the representative of the mercenary faction Lions of the Khalahar, of Militaire Sans Frontieres "Introduced Lioness.
"Mercenaries? And from Militaire Sans Forntieres?" Said in awe the scientist.
"That's right. I heard that you know something about the Metal Demon" Said Lioness with venom in her tone.
"Y-yeah" Said nervously the scientist.
Lioness walked closer and stopped in front of him.
"I'll tell you what, im going to strike a deal with you. Tell us where this Metal Demon is, and in exchange, I'll grant you protection and a passage to leave Africa for good" Explained Lioness.
"Y-you promise?" Said the scientist with hope.
Lioness sighed annoyingly and said "Yeah"
"T-t-that's wonderful! But what about Militaire Sans Frontieres? Are they going to allow a branch of their soldiers to do this kind of action?"
"That won't be a problem at all" Spoke Ocelot. The scientist turned his head at him.
"Wait a moment. You are part of Militaire Sans Frontieres?" Asked the scientist.
Ocelot nodded.
"I'm Ocelot. I personally represent MSF. I'll allow this deal stroke between you two. On the condition that we take whatever spoil we get after destroying the Metal Demon and the Black Site"
Lioness nodded at Ocelot. Sure, she wants the Metal Demon gone, but the parts of the Knightmare could be beneficial to MSF, and she also wants to terminate the man who created it.
"Alright, we can discuss this matter…." The scientist stopped as he saw Liz. The group looked to where the man was staring. Liz turned her head to see who it was, but it turns out that it was her.
"W-what is it?" Asked Liz shyly.
"You….I've seen you before" Asked the scientist.
"Me?"
"Wait. I, I remember now! You are Elizabeth! Little Elizabeth, right?!" Said with astonishment the scientist.
This surprised everyone in the room.
Lioness then stood in front of him menacingly." Hey, how do you know her name?!" Questioned Lioness.
"Wait Lioness, let me do the talking" Said Liz as she walked closer to the scientist.
"I'm sorry, sir,but I don't think I met you before." Said Liz honestly.
"I knew your father, Harold" Said the scientist. Liz eyes widened in shock at this revelation.
"H-how?" Asked Liz.
"Im not surprised that you didn't recognize me. You were only 5 years old when I last saw you" the scientist chuckled softly.
"Really?!" Said Liz with a surprised tone.
"Hehe, you know, it's good to finally meet someone who is innocent and sweet" Said the scientist with a sad smile. Then he stood up as he faced the group.
"Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kain Morrison. As you all know, I'm a researcher from the Black Site. I worked in that place for several years, so I know every inch of that building."
Ocelot decided to join. "Mr Morrison, I have some questions. Why have you suddenly decided to abandon the Black Site?"
Morrison sighed as he frowned "Because that place is hell"
Ocelot and the MSF soldiers raised an eyebrow with curiosity, while the rest have shocked or surprised expressions.
"Hell, you said?" Said Ocelot.
Morrison nodded. "I thought the Black Site was just a regular research facility, but it turns out that I was helping create the Knightmare that killed my friends, including Liz's family!"
Morrison put a hand on his head as he remembered all the horrible experiments.
Everyone in the room stared at him with sadness, especially Liz and Lioness.
"But all that is nothing compared to the other objective of that Black facility…. The things I saw in there….Is inhuman!" Said Morrison with a disturbed tone.
"What kind of experiments were they conducting?" Asked Ocelot, wanting to know what else was in there.
"They were creating life forms" Said Morrison.
"What?!" Shouted in shock Liz, Lioness and Allen.
Ocelot put his hand on his chin as he thought about it. This kind of things was no strange to him, since he knows a certain man who sanctioned a project to clone a certain man.
"Who is in charge of all these experiments?" Asked Ocelot.
"The man in charge of the site is called Krennic Simmons. He is well known for being ruthless and uncaring. All he cares is to create weapons that can surprise the Emperor, so he can become a noble
"This is indeed bad news" Said Ocelot. With this information, he concluded that the only way to complete this mission is to eliminate Krennic Simmons and the Black Site. Morrison said that he is a despicable human being, so any idea of having this man join MSF is discarded.
"That is why I escaped. I couldn't handle it anymore" Morrison then looked at them.
"Please, help me destroy this facility" Morrison requested.
"Ok, we will do it, as long as you give us what you promised." Spoke Ocelot.
Morrison nodded "Of course, you may have any resources from the Site after we are done"
With that the deal was sealed.

Hours later, in the jungle
…
The group, along with Allen and 5 of his rebel soldiers, walked through the forest to the location of the black site. Morrison gave them all the info they needed: the equipments, soldiers, defenses, experiments and the structure of the site. The Metal Demon was located somewhere under the site, in some kind of underground hangar.
They reached to a large lake where there were several waterfalls. Ocelot motioned his group to follow him, he walked to the side of a wall that leads to what's behind the waterfall. Once they slipped through the waterfall, they encountered a big cave.
"So this is it. According to Morrison, this cave should lead to a passage where the Black Site is located" Said Lioness.
"Yeah. Prepare your weapons, we may encounter guards around here" Said Ocelot as he walked first.
The group followed Ocelot with weapons on hand. As they walked, they saw how big it was the cave.
As they walked through the cave, the sound of footsteps echoed, as well as some small drops of water formed by the moist of the cave.
Ocelot stopped as he raised his left hand, making the group stop in their tracks. He then motioned them to look what it was on the ceiling.
There was a thin stream of red light, laser like light.
Ocelot was able to deduce that it was a mine-like trap which activates when something pass through it.
He motioned the group to stand back as he looked around to find something. He found a rock, and then he proceeded to steady his launch and toss it to the laser.
*BOOM!*
A small explosion happened. Luckily, it wasn't destructive enough to provoke a collapse in the cave.
They encountered several of these booby traps, but they managed to pass through it.
Soon, they saw a small light at the end of the path.
The group walked faster to the exit. As soon as they got out, they saw a miles away a medium sized facility with a Britannian flag on top of a building.
"At last" Spoke Lioness.
"Yeah" Liz added as she grabbed Lioness hand.
"Now, about that plan we were talking about" Said Ocelot gaining their attention.
The group nodded as they know what they have to do.

In Simmon's office

Currently, Simmons was staring at the screen of his computer, which shows the progress of his experiments, in one of the screens, showed his data's being loaded to his ship Artemis. He really hated to leave his facility since he spent his entire life working in there.
Everything seemed to be normal, until an explosive sound echoed the base and then it followed by the sound of the alarm .
"Director!" Suddenly spoke a scientist as he opened the door of the office.
"What is the problem?" Questioned Simmons.
The scientist panted a little bit as he continued.
"The rebels are at the entrance! We are under attack!"
"WHAT?!" Simmons said in shock as he stood up from his sit.
"We also received information that the mercenaries Militaire Sans Frontieres are with them!"
Simmons put a hand on his forehead as he growled in anger. They were sooner than he expected and he didn't expect that the rebels would assist them.
"How long until all the data's are loaded into my ship?" asked Simmons coldly.
"Approximately 15 minutes, sir"
"Looks like I'll have to prepare it" Said Simmons.
"What is your plan, director?"
"Prepare the Subject 23, have her ready to use the Metal Demon" Commanded Simmons.
"B-but sir! The subject is currently unstable to have her ride on the Metal Demon!"
"More of a reason to have her fight against them" Replied again Simmons.
"But-!"
"No more complains! Do as you are told!"Yelled Simmons angrily.
The scientist flinched in fear.
"Y-yes, director" Finished the scientist as he left.
Simmons went to his desk and pulled one of the drawers, and then he took out a pistol. He loaded the gun and left the office.

Meanwhile

Right outside of the base, the rebels initiated their assault. The Britannian soldiers were deployed to defend the base, along with several tanks and Knightmares.
*BAM! BOOM!*
It turned almost a battlefield as both sides simply exchanged bullets and explosions.
"I need another RPG!"
"Here!"
"Hit that Sutherland!"
"Damn! I'm out of ammo!"
Allen roared as he started to gun down every soldier, tanks or Knightmares with his special weapon, a heavy machine gun with 2000 bullets. As absurd as it sounds, he was actually destroying the tanks and Knightmares with this special machine gun he created.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
Allen roared again as the bullets increased its speed, as if roaring helps the gun fire faster!
"YES! THAT'S OUR CAPTAIN!"
The rebels roared in excitement at Allen's performance.
"Remember the plan boys! Our objective is to storm that place while also serving as a distraction for our friends to get in!" Informed Allen.
The rebels nodded as they continued firing.
One of the things they have done was to have half group of MSF soldiers present in the battle to have a high moral as well as to insert the fear factor since having MSF soldiers would most likely make the enemy feel nervous.
As the battle was commencing, Ocelot, Lioness, Liz and Alpha Team sneaked around the base.
They saw that the rear side of the base was empty, thanks to the distraction provided by the other group.
Ocelot was the first one to make the move. While the rest were hiding behind the bushes, he walked forward with his right hand on his revolver. He saw that there were cameras on the gates, so with his amazing skills, he drew out his revolver and shoot at them. Then he signaled Alpha Team to use the vent of the building and infiltrate through there, while Lioness and Liz will go with him.
Ocelot twirled his revolver again and focused his eyesight on a panel next to the gate.
He aimed his revolver at the panel and shot at it, causing it to open the gate.
Ocelot walked forward with Liz and Lioness behind him.
Soon, they entered the building, when suddenly 6 Britannian soldiers appeared.
"It's them! Fire!" One of them shouted as they proceeded to fire their guns at them.
Lioness and Liz quickly hid behind the walls, but Ocelot didn't move as he walked straight to them.
Ocelot shot quickly 6 bullets, each hitting its targets.
*BAMBAMBAMBAMBAM*
The 6 soldiers fell on the ground with holes in their bodies.
"There is no time to be discreet now, girls. Cover me, while I take on the enemies on the front" Said Ocelot as he reloaded one of his revolvers.
Lioness and Liz nodded as they followed him.
While the trio continued their path, Simmons strolled quickly straight to the elevator that leads to the hangar.
"God damn it, why does it have to happen today? I'm losing too much!" Thought Simmons angrily. He arrived to the elevator went to the basement.
"They better have the subject ready"
Simmons exited the elevator that leads to a lab and saw his researchers preparing the subject.
It turns out to be a 10 year old girl wearing a patient clothe, with a helmet in her head.
"Director Simmons, she's ready" Informed one of the scientists.
"Good" Simmons then kneeled down to her level.
"Hello little one, I need you to do me a favor" Said Simmon with a soft tone. Naturally he wouldn't use this tone, but he was kinda forced to use it to talk with the subject 23, in order for her to comply. She was a child after all.
Subject 23 nodded, which made Simmons to smirk.
"There are a few "bad people" inside here. They are here to hurt us, help me stop them, please"
The girl didn't reply for a few seconds, until she finally said it.
" Si (yes)" Said the girl in Spanish.
Simmons was relieved that the subject was stable enough to hear him, and he was also fortunate to learn some Spanish.
Strangely though, the girl seems to understand English, but she always reply on Spanish.
" Muy Bien (very good) , come, we have work to do" Simmons put a hand on her shoulders and lead her outside of the room.
The girl unconsciously moved her head back to the lab to see something in particular. The lab had a window that shows another subject….. A 12 year old boy with a pair of reptilian-like wings.
Meanwhile, Ocelot, Lioness and Liz continued their path while also confronting enemies on their way.
Liz and Lioness used their own handguns and hit several targets, while Ocelot was going for the overkill as he shot most of the soldiers with his revolvers.
"Major, Major, can you hear us?" Came the voice of one of the members of Alpha Team.
"Loud and clear, what do you guys got?" Asked Ocelot.
"We were able to hack their system. We found that the director, Krennic Simmons, left his office 10 minutes ago, right to the hangar. Also, they started to load the datas of the Metal Demon and the Subjects to his ship, Artemis."
"Good job. We will take care of Simmons in the hangar, you guys handle the datas in that ship."
Ocelot ordered as he and the 2 women headed to the elevator and lead them to the hangar.
Once the elevator opened its door, they walked out from it to see that they are in a big metallic military chamber, in front of them is a giant metallic door, confirming that they are indeed in the hangar and behind the giant door lies the Metal Demon.
(The hangar resembles the boss battle stage of Metal Gear Rex in Metal Gear Solid)
The 3 walked slowly forward with their guns ready.
Suddenly a voice spoke from speaker.
"So, you have finally arrived"
The 3 looked around their surroundings.
"I must say, I wasn't expecting you people to arrive here so soon, considering that this facility was well hidden."
Ocelot looked up to see transparent windows, there he saw a man with a lab coat.
"Krennic Simmons, I presume" Spoke Ocelot.
"Correct, and its Director Simmons." Corrected Simmons. Then he moved his gaze at the 2 women.
"And I see that the daughter of Harold has grown up. He was such a good man" Said Simmons with a sarcastic tone.
Lioness got angry as she yelled.
"SHUT UP! YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO TALK ABOUT HIM!"
Simmons then turned his gaze at her.
"And the adoptive savage, I never thought I would see you again"
Lioness started to get really angry when he said the word savage. She was about to shoot the window, but Ocelot stopped.
"I would like to stay and chat, but I have to leave. I left someone to keep you all company" Simmons pressed a button which made the giant door open.
The 3 prepared themselves as the door opened vertically. On the mid-way, Lioness started to breathe hard and sweat as she saw her nightmare from her dreams.
The Metal Demon walked out with its guns ready.
"Enjoy your stay" Finished Simmons as he turned off the speaker and left the place.
The Metal Demon then made a piercing roar.

The 3 quickly took cover behind giant metallic crates.
The Metal Demon started by using machine guns on its shoulders.

The Metal Demon then started to walk forward while it kept firing.
Lioness peaked as she drew out a FAL assault rifle and then with all her speed, she came out and ran straight to the Knightmare as she proceeded to shoot.
"Dear!" Cried Liz. She saw in horror at how her lover sprinted straight at the Knightmare.
Lioness didn't hear her, rage showing on her face. She roared with fury as she fired at the Metal Demon.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"
The Metal Demon focused its machine guns at her. Luckily she was running fast enough to evade the bullets.
"Damn it, we need a plan, if this keeps up, she will get herself killed!" Said Ocelot as he readied his revolvers.
"We've got to do something!" Liz breathed heavily. She was having a bit of a hard time to focus as she was feeling that she is in some kind of nightmare, where one must face its worst fear.
Ocelot noticed her panicked state.
"Liz, calm down! I need you focused!" Shouted Ocelot.
Liz moved her up suddenly as she seemed to wake up from it.
Liz nodded harshly.
Ocelot peaked and saw the Metal Demon firing at Lioness, he saw her run straight to another Metallic crate and took cover behind it. The Metal Demon was focused on her since it still kept firing.
Ocelot took this opportunity to see his surroundings.
He saw on the ceilings several large metallic cables, he turned his head to the left to see that it was connected to a wall, and just a little bit down, he saw an electric box.
"Listen up Liz, I've got a plan"
The Metal Demon stopped its machine guns and then activated its claw to charge and slam its fist on the crate.
"Shit!" Lioness noticed the Metal Demon charging at her with its claws popped out.
Lioness ran to her right and just then, then Metal Demon destroyed the metallic crate.
*ROOOOOAAAAAR*
The Metal Demon roared as it moved its head and targeted at Lioness, who has her assault rifle ready.
"HEY!"
Suddenly, bullets hit the left side of the Metal Demon, causing it to turn around and focus on another target.
Liz stood her with an M16.
The Metal Demon activated its machine guns and shot at her, she quickly ran to the left and took cover behind another metallic crate. The Metal Demon started to walk to where Liz was hiding as it prepared its claw to attack again.
"Liz!" Shouted Lioness as she saw the Metal Demon approaching her hideout.
When the Metal Demon got closer, there were 2 loud bangs.
*BAM BAM!*
Cables fell from the ceiling and landed on the head of the Knightmare. The cables were emitting sparks, which…
*ROOOOOAAAARR!*
Caused an electric shock.
The Metal Demon dropped on one knee at it started to emit sparks around its body.
"NOW!"
Ocelot shouted as he peaked and fired his revolvers on the Knightmare.
Liz and Lioness joined as they fired its assault rifle.
Lioness was shooting from behind, and from there, she noticed that there was a small cockpit.
She focused on the cockpit and fired.
That is when the Metal Demon recovered from the shock and activated its machine guns and fired everywhere.
*TRATATATATA*
Lioness quickly took cover as she decided to use her radio to call Liz and Ocelot.
"Guys, I think I found a weak spot! There's a small cockpit from behind, like a normal Knightmare!"
"A cockpit? But it's too small for a person to fit in!" Said Liz.
"I know what I saw! If there's a cockpit, then there's someone in there! We need to kill the pilot!"
"We'll have to create another distraction!" Said Ocelot.
"I'll be the distraction!" Proclaimed Lioness as she charged again at the Metal Demon, causing the machine guns to focus on her again.
"Lioness! Damn it!" Liz cursed at her recklessness.
Lioness fired her FAL at the shoulders, hoping to destroy the machine guns.
Suddenly the Metal Demon stops its machine gun and took out the Varis-like gun.
"Oh, shit" Cursed Lioness.
*ROOOOOAAAARR!*
*BAM!*
The Metal Demon fired the gun. A large red laser like beam flew straight ton her direction.
Lioness quickly ran and dodged it. The red laser flew past next to her. When she turned her head, she stared in shock the wall behind her have a cleanly medium sized circular hole.
"My god" Breathed out Lioness.
Ocelot and Liz quickly fired at the cockpit. The bullets penetrated the cockpit, but something shocking happened, the Metal Demon turned around and fired the gun at them.
"What the?!"
"Dodge!"
They managed to run to another metallic crate.
"What the hell just happened?!" Said in shock Liz.
"No idea" Said Ocelot with a surprised tone.
At that moment, Lioness managed to reach to where they were hiding.
"What happened? I thought you guys did it!" Said Lioness almost angrily.
"We did shot the cockpit! We saw it pierce the armor of the cockpit, but it kept moving as if nothing happened!"
The Metal Demon roared again as it started to recharge the gun and aim at the crate where they were hiding.

Lioness felt that everything seemed to slowdown. She thought that they were going to win this battle, this fear, but no matter how much they tried, the demon was still there. Even with all the hardship and training the 2 had, nothing was working.
Lioness dropped on her knees as her assault rifle fell on the ground.
"Is it really a demon?" Said with despair Lioness.
"No, it can't be!" Liz said with tear as she leaned closer to Lioness.
"We came all the way here, to end all this, and yet, we can't defeat the demon of our past!" Screamed Lioness in panic.
Ocelot watched the scene with sympathy, he wanted these two to win this fight on their own, but it seems that something strange and bizarre was happening.
How is the pilot still maneuvering that Knightmare after the bullets pierced the cockpit? No matter how much armored is the cockpit, their guns were powerful enough to incapacitate the pilot.
Ocelot sighed; he guessed that it was the time to lend a hand on this matter.
Ocelot stood up as he withdrew his revolver. Liz and Lioness raised their heads to see Ocelot.
"Ocelot? What are you doing?" Asked Liz with tears.
"Well, you two seems to have a huge trouble with this Knightmare. So, I decided to even the odds"
The two stared confusingly at him.
"What? What are you talking about?" Asked Lioness.
Ocelot smiled and said "Just sit down and let me handle this"
The two stared in shock and horror as he walked out from the crate.
"HEY!" Ocelot called out.
The Metal Demon focused its target on Ocelot.
"Ocelot! What are you doing?!" Said in horror Liz.
"What's the matter? Give me your best shot!" Taunted Ocelot.
The Metal Demon seemed to not take well the taunt and roared.
*ROOOOOAAAAR*
It moved its gun and pointed at him.
"Ocelot, are you out of your mind?! Get out! You'll be killed!" Lioness cried.
The gun fired, the red laser flew to Ocelot's direction.
Just when it was getting close to him, something unexpected happened and shocked everyone, including the Metal Demon.
The laser moved to the left side of Ocelot.
Liz and Lioness stared wide eyed at what happened, did the laser just move to the left side of Ocelot? It was physically impossible!

Ocelot smirked as he stood with confidence.
"Let's see who's the most dangerous here!" Said Ocelot.

The Metal Demon fired again the gun.

The laser flew straight to Ocelot.
But Ocelot didn't flinch as he raised his left hand.
And with a swift….
*SWOOOOSH!*
The laser flew to the left side and hit the wall!
Ocelot started to walk forward, to the Metal Demon.
*ROOOOAAAR!*
The Metal Demon roared furiously as it started to fire the gun 5 times.
Ocelot swift to the left and right each laser coming to him, and creating holes on the walls.
"Is that the best you can do?" Taunted Ocelot with a smirk.
The Metal Demon surprisingly stammered awkwardly, and then it roared again, this time the roar sounding more….feminine.
It fired the laser again, but before that, Ocelot had drawn out a Walther Kampfpistole and aimed at the hole of the gun, the opportunity he was waiting for.
Ocelot fired it and hit the spot.
*BOOOOM!*
The gun exploded.
*ROOOOOOAAAARRR!*
The Metal Demon roared again with anger, it activated its machine guns and fired at Ocelot.
Ocelot smirked again as he was expecting the bullets.
The bullets changed its trajectories whenever it got closer to Ocelot.
He moved again his left hand and with a strong swift, the bullets went to the left side.
As he did that, he continued walking forward and each step he took, the Metal Demon did something that surprised both Liz and Lioness, it was taking steps backward, and the way it moved, it was of fear.
Lioness and Liz were in shock and awe at such performance, Ocelot was slowly humiliating the Metal Demon with every move he was taking!
Ocelot then pointed forward his right index finger, prompting the bullets to go backwards and hit the Metal Demons head.
*ROOOOAAAAR!*
It stammered back from the damage, but the machine guns kept focusing on Ocelot.
"Time to end this!" Spoke Ocelot.
He moved upward left with his left hand, the bullets went to the knuckles of the Knightmare.
Then he destroyed the other hand of the Knightmare by doing the same thing with his right hand.
*TRATATATATA!*
*BOOM!*
The melee attacks were disabled.
Then Ocelot moved upward with his right hand, causing the bullets to hit the walls and then ricocheting to the right leg of the Metal Demon.
While he did that, he moved upward again with his left hand, causing the bullet to do the same thing only that this time, it was the left leg.
The legs got destroyed as the Knightmare fell on the ground.
*ROOOOOAAAAARR!*
The Metal Demon tried to stand up, but the legs were too damaged.
Ocelot walked closer as he draws out with his right hand a revolver.
The Metal Demon took this opportunity to use all its strength on its legs.
As it jumped, It caused the legs to break apart, but it gave the impulse to leap on Ocelot.
But what happened is that the Knightmare fell next to him by whatever force surrounding him.
Ocelot didn't get surprised or flinch at the sudden attack, as if he knew it was going to do.
"It's over" Proclaimed Ocelot as he shot at point blank range the power source of the Knightmare located on its chest.
The Metal Demon ceased to function after the shot, and thus the battle ended.

Ocelot withdrew his revolver coolly.
The 2 women got out from their hiding and approached him.
"Ocelot! What in bloody hell happened?!" Said in shock Lioness.
"How did you do that?!" Added Liz.
Ocelot laughed softly.
"Well, I didn't want to reveal it, but I already let the cat out of the bag" Ocelot then pointed at his left side of the waist. The two saw a rectangular device attached on him.
"This is something that our R&D team created; it projects an electromagnetic field around me that protects me from any attack. They added every possible threat into the device, from handguns to Knightmares weaponry."
The 2 stared with amazement at such device.
"This is incredible!" Said Lioness.
"Heheh. They wanted me to use it on the battlefield, I wasn't sure about wearing this, but it worked flawlessly" Said Ocelot with a chuckle.
"What is it called?" Asked Liz.
"And is it being manufactured?" Lioness asked with excitement.
"They didn't give it a name, but I think I'll call it, Fortune Device" Said Ocelot
"And no, this is the only one they made, it's more like an experiment, and sadly, it seems that it stopped working" Ocelot added as he saw that the device was off.
Suddenly, they heard something coming from the debris of the Metal Demon.
The 3 prepared their guns as they saw someone emerge.
The three were shocked at the person.
It was a child, a 10 year old girl, she had black hair, with European features, she was wearing some kind of black pilot suit with gray outlines.
But the suit had holes, caused by the bullets they had shot before.
"N-no way, that child, was piloting the Knightmare?!" Said in shock Liz
The girl was growling was an animal as she stared at them.
Ocelot noticed the attitude of this girl, her behavior was resembling that of a wolf. He could also tell that this girl went through hell, judging by her expression.
Lioness suddenly lowered her weapon and she walked forward slowly.
"Lioness? What are you doing?" Asked Liz with concern.
Lioness didn't reply as she approached the girl.
The girl growled as she stepped back with an aggressive stance.
"Hey there, are you alright?"Lioness spoke with a soft tone.
The girl didn't reply.
"It's ok, we won't hurt you" Lioness reassured as she slowly drew out her pistol and knife, cuains the girl to step back again.
But Lioness simply laid down her weapons.
"See? I won't hurt you" Lioness lends her right hand for her to reach. She turned her head to her companions and motioned them to lower their guns.
"I'm sorry we tried to hurt you before, we didn't know you were inside that machine" Spoke Lioness again.
"El me dijo que ustedes son personas malas" Said the girl in spanish.
Lioness stared in confusion "What?"
"She is speaking Spanish" Spoke Ocelot.
"What did she say?" Asked Liz.
"She said that "he" told her that we were bad people"
Lioness clenched her teeth in anger and muttered "Simmons"
"Vinieron aqui a llevarme? (You have come here to take me away?) "
"What is she saying again?" Asked Liz
"She asked us if we are here to take her away" Replied Ocelot.
"Yes, we can keep you safe from these people" Said Lioness.
"Para que ustedes puedan torturarme?! (So you can torture me?!)" The girl yelled as she extended her arms and then something incredible happened.
2 metallic claws popped out from her knuckles.
This shocked them since they have never seen something like this before.
"What the hell?" Said Ocelot in shock as he slowly went to his revolver, ready to shoot.
Liz stepped back in fear as she saw the girl ready to attack.
Lioness was also shocked, but then surprisingly, she remained calm again.
"What did she say Ocelot?" Asked Lioness.
"She asked if we are going to torture her" replied Ocelot.
"She seems to know english, but also refuses to reply back" Added Ocelot.
Lioness stared at the girl, the reason why she was approaching her was because she saw something in the girl, something that reminded herself a lot.
Lioness then kneeled down and opened her arms, as if telling her to hug her.
"Lioness! What are you doing?" Said Liz in fear.
"If you think that we are here to torture you, then come to me, kill me" Stated Lioness which shocked everyone.
The girl stared at her in shock and confusion.
"The reason why I am here, is because I wanted to get rid of my demons. I suffered, just like you, and I don't want that to happen to any child. If you don't trust me, kill me, so that in your conscience you got rid one of the bad people, people like Simmons"
The girl then looked down as she remembered the things that Simmons did to her. The tortures and experiments she had to go through for the past 9 years.
She retracted the claws and slowly walked to her.
Lioness kept her hands spread. Once the girl was close, she slowly raised her left hand in hesitation.
Several seconds happened, until she finally walked closer and wrapped her arms around Lioness body.
Lioness smiled as she closed her arms and embraced her.
Ocelot and Liz dropped their battle stance and relaxed, it seems that everything is fine.
Footsteps sound echoed as the trio turned around to see the Alpha team, with Simmons captured.
"Sir!" Saluted one of them.
"At ease soldier, I assume that everything is under control now" Said Ocelot.
"Yes, the rebels took control of the battle and defeated the Britanians, they also entered the base and allowed our soldiers to take control of the base, plus we also managed to capture the director."
2 MSF soldiers brought Simmons by the arms and put him in front of the trio.
Simmons grunted angrily, only to sigh in defeat as he saw the total destruction of the Metal Demon.
He also saw the girl with Lioness, he stared at her with hate while she stared back with the same hate.

Flashback, during the Metal Demon fight

Simmons quickly reached to her flag ship Artemis and was preparing to take off.
"Director Simmons!" said one of the staffs inside the Artemis.
"We must leave at once!" Said Simmons as he sat on his main seat.
"We will at once!" The staff went to the cockpit and told the pilots to take off.
"What are you two waiting for? Lets go!"
"We can't!" The pilot said as he tried to move the control.
"What? Wasn't it prepared?!" Said in disbelief the staff.
"There's something wrong, it's like we got stuck!"
"By what?!"
"By us" Spoke suddenly a voice from behind them. When they turned around, there were 4 MSF soldiers with their guns on hand.
The staff and the pilots raised their hand on surrender.
"What is going on there?!" Said in annoyance Simmons.
*Click!*
A click sound sounded from behind him and it revealed that there were 5 MSF soldiers standing behind him, one of them with a handgun on hand and pointing at him.
"End of the line" Said the one holding a gun.

"Looks like I lost" Said Simmons.
"Time to explain Simmons, what were you doing here? What's all this about human experiments?" Questioned Ocelot.
Simmons then chuckled.
"I guess I will, but what I'm going to say, will be your downfall"
The group stared at him, some of the in confusion and wonder.
"What we are creating here, is the culmination of my research, the creation of the ultimate biological soldier!"
"Biological soldier?" Muttered Ocelot.
"He sanctioned this research of mine…..By the Emperor himself!" Proclaimed Simmons.
This revelation shocked the members of the Lions of Khalahari and Lioness and Liz.
The Alpha team was shocked, but not Ocelot, since he have a share of this research with the Les Enfant Terribles.
Lioness put a hand on the girl's shoulder and tugged her closer.
"What? The Emperor sanctioned this sickening experiment?" Said Liz in horror.
"Yes, my dear, the Emperor Charles wanted me to make ultimate super soldiers who follow every order without question! Show no mercy, no morality, and can take more punishment then an average human! But i see more. What they can become! What I've been doing is basically creating the next evolution of humanity...no...a new species! And how fitting that they will be born here, in Africa where humanity itself was born from! And I will become a GOD to them! Something not even EMPEROR CHARLES CAN DO!" Proclaimed Simmons with a mad tone.
The information they got from Simmons was sinking slowly into their minds.
Lioness was angry as she step forward and drew out her handgun.
"I should put a bullet in your skull!" Said with anger Lioness.
"You can kill me if you want, but my research will be continued by others. It may not be perfect like mine, but in time, a successor will come!"
Lioness cocked her gun and pointed on his forehead.
"Im not only doing this because of your research, I'm doing this for all the children and people you killed and murdered, including my village and Liz's father." Said Lioness coldly.
"Then go ahead, finish me!" Said Simmons as he stared at her.
Lioness mustered all her strength and pointed her gun firmly at him. Simmons closed his eyes as he waited for his end.
And then….
*BANG!*
*THUD!*
Simmons body fell on the ground, lifeless and with a hole in his head.
Lioness lowered her gun and stared at the corpse.
"Father, Mother, friends. You can all rest in peace now" Said Lioness.
"It's time to get to work. Salvage whatever you can on the Metal Demon,and inform the rebels about our situation!" Commanded Ocelot.
"Yes sir!"
Alpha team left them as the trio stood there.
"It's finally over" Liz said as she hugged Lioness.
"Yes, my love" Lioness hugged her back.
They broke the hugged and Lioness walked to the girl.
"I haven't asked you, what's your name?" Asked Lioness as she kneeled down.
The girl didn't reply for several seconds.
"Dafne….Dafne "Hannah" Kinney"
Lioness smiled as she hugged the girl.
Suddenly Lioness told her something that surprised her.
"Come with me, live with us"
Dafne eyes widened in shock at this sudden proposition.
"Why?" Said Dafne in english, which surprised the trio.
Lioness simply smiled kindly and said "I want to help you. I want you to have a place where you can call home and family"
Dafne then cried a little. Never had she ever dreamed of this day, to have a home and family.
Dafne then nodded, wanting to leave this place forever.
Lioness kissed the girls cheek and hugged her tightly.
"Can I call you…mamá (mom)?" Asked Dafne.
Lioness was surprised initially, but smiled again and said "Sure, I will be your mother from now on"
The two broke their hug and Dafne held Lioness hand.
"Let's go" Said Ocelot as the trio were about to exit, but then Dafne stopped.
"Wait!" Spoke the girl
"Dafne? What's wrong?" Asked Lioness.
"There is still someone here I want him to come" Said Dafne, gaining more surprises.
"Him?" Asked Ocelot in wonder.
"Yes! Come with me!" Dafne then ran straight to the stairs.
"Wait Dafne!" Lioness followed her, as Liz and Ocelot ran behind her.
After going through the stairs, Dafne reached to the section where she last saw the boy. Luckily she found him behind the cell of glass.
She pat the glass to gain his attention, but he didn't seem to notice.
Lioness and the rest arrived in time to see Dafne patting a cell like glass where they could see a boy with a blanket on him.
"Dafne dear. Who is this?" Asked Lioness.
"He is family too, I want him to come with me!" Said Dafne with a happy face.
Ocelot raised an eyebrow with interest and watched through the glass to inspect the boy.
"How do we open?" Asked Liz
"There has to be an interruptor to open." Said Ocelot
*SNIKT!*
Suddenly the metallic claws popped out from her right knuckle and started to slash the metallic door.
This surprised the 3 at the sudden move from the girl.
The door was slashed and then she walked in.
"Akira….Akira….Akira, you awake?" Asked Dafne as she approached him.
The boy seems to notice as he raised his head under the blanket.
"Dafne? Is that you?" Asked the boy known as Akira
"Yes, it's me. Get up! We can leave this place!"
"L-leave?"
"Yes! We are free!"
"But, what about director Simmons?" Asked Akira with fear.
"Simmons is dead! The adults over there are here to help!" Said Dafne happily.
"H-help? Do they know?"
"Yes, they know"
Akira slowly stood up and followed Dafne as she walked out from the cell.
Lioness was the first to approach.
"Hi there" Said Liones with a smile.
"H-hi, Dafne told me that we are free"
"Yes, and we will be your family" Added Liz with a smile.
"R-really?" Said with hope Akira.
"Yes! Why don't you take of the blanket?" Asked Lioness in wonder.
"I can't, you'll get scared!" Said Akira with a scared tone.
"Don't worry, she saw my claws" Dafne reassured him.
Akira then slowly removed his blanket. The trio saw that the kid had Asian features; he was Japanese judging by the name. But then they got surprised when his back showed a pair of large reptilian wings!
"My god" Said Liz.
Lioness then asked him "What is your name boy?"
"Akira…..Akira Fugo"

Hi everyone, im deeply sorry for disappearing for 8 months. Many things happened, so I'll try to explain it shortly.
I left my college. The last months were terrible since I wasn't getting the grades I need and I was failing badly. So I had to leave my college and changed my profession to an artist, something that I love to do, such as drawing anime, comic, and video game characters.
I also discovered another new passion, SFM animations, so these last 5 months I was focused on doing SFM animations and I posted several of them on Youtube, you guys can go and check it out, the channel is the same name as my author name.
And lastly, the situation in the country is so bad that I have decided to try to work more and help my family.
Don't worry, im still continuing my story. The good thing is that this is the last chapter of the large side stories, which means that I will focus again on the main story. There will be side stories but not so long like this one.
