Introduction: A New Home
Antre Ticor, an esteemed Jedi guardian who was taught under the tutelage of Yoda and Obi wan, has survived the dreaded event called Order 66, an operation that wiped out the Jedi from the face of the galaxy with one of their own loyal troopers after the war's end and with General Grievous out of the picture, Emperor Palpatine gained complete control of the republic, transforming into the Galactic Empire, branding the Jedi as traitors, and brainwashing the citizens into believing they're actual killers of peace and justice. After fleeing several months by hyperspace, he eventually came into civilization on a green and blue planet, a metropolitan city of numerous purpostions and a statue of a bald individual with an arrow on his head, The avatar of the past. Will he ever be back to the galaxy he is most familiar with, or did the force send him here for a new purpose?
(Present Day, Air Temple Island)
The flying bisons circle around the island beautifully while the sun begins to rise on the early day hours of Republic City, the green like vines are still spread around the city, but the citizens don't mind it one bit, initially, they hated it as it blocks out most of the roads the civilians normally travel through for commute to work, businesses, and other establishments around the metropolis. However, adapting to the spirit vines in the end turns out to be peaceful for their everyday life.
An alarm from his holographic disk annoyingly rings from his nightstand, groaning audibly as he gets ready for his early ritual, stretching out his arms towards the ceiling, feeling audible cracks popping from his sockets before placing them down back onto his thighs, adjusting himself to sit on the edge of his bed, he acknowledged that this place isn't like any other room he had been in before, in the outer rim territories, after all, he considered this place his home away from home. He missed Naboo with all his heart, but a visit to the planet will have to wait. Even if the war is over and years have passed, he's not taking any risks.
The ex-general of the clone war made his way outside towards the open courtyard, adjacent to the main temple grounds that faces the city, equipped with a river flow and a slew of white lotus guards everywhere in every part of the courtyard, always vigilant for anything in case things get ugly. The Jedi took gentle strides towards the open space of the temple's patio, his tanned robe flapping along with the gentle wind as he cracked his neck from side to side, placing his robe on a coat rack, not willing to lose it, however, he does have a few spare ones just in case as Jedi have the tendency to fight without their robes as lightsabers can combust one's own robes in a duel, so it's really obvious that it should be off on occasions like that.
After a few minutes of basic stretches, Antre unclipped the hilt of his lightsaber from his belt and ignited the iliac blade with an audible snap hiss, the hum of the saber is like music to his ears, he haven't used it since he went far away from the galaxy due to most of the empire taking over the core planets, Naboo included. He could do just about anything in his power to liberate it, but with 10,000 Jedi reduced to nearly nothing, except for Obi Wan and Yoda who survived their battles with Darth Vader and Sidious, the emperor of the galaxy barely. In the end of it all, survival was their only key to victory. The drills started out at a normal pace, utilizing form I, Shii-Cho, the basic tutorial form all taught to Jedi at a certain age, teaching the defensive and offensive maneuvers of the three target zones. His movements are so fluid like in motion, it got the attention of Korra and company as they too are up early, possibly might go do some errands sometime later, Antre thought initially.
Continuing his maneuvers, Ikki, Meelo and Jinora brisk walked towards the human male, looks of astonishment appeared on their faces, Ikki being her usual self, wanted to know how he met Korra and company all those years ago.
"Master Antre! Can you please tell us a story on how you and Korra met?" Ikki asked him with so much enthusiasm, he cannot help but smile with a laugh, Meelo asking the same thing too, and Jinora nodded in agreement with her siblings, who have grown up months after Kuvira's attack on the city that nearly toppled the city to pieces.
Sweat drips down his forehead, summoning a towel to his hand as he wiped it clean off before sitting by the courtyard staircase, the young adults made space for themselves to listen intently, Korra noticing the kids around the Jedi from her quarters, a hopeful smile plastered onto her face, knowing for damn sure he saved her life on some occasions, even if she can handle herself well in a fight, she counted on her friends and the mysterious stranger from outer space when the situation turns sour, and she could thank him a million times over.
"Well, I think it's going to be a wonderful tale on how we got up to this point, but who doesn't love a great recap that is our first meeting?"
Antre smiled warmly, the teenagers smiled back to the young man, their presence in this early morning puts him at ease.
"Mind if i join in on the fun?" Korra asked, a smile appearing on her lips as Antre nodded, smiling back warmly to the avatar with Asami in tow, sitting alongside her kick ass girlfriend.
"Of course, these kids surely wanted to relive the adventures of us from the beginning." Antre laughed, giving Asasmi a bow from him, earning a grin from her, oh spirits, he's so handsome from outer space.
The dark haired Jedi Master got comfortable and sat cross legged, Naga and Pabu joined along with Korra, giving her polar bear dog a soft pet to the head, sipping her water.
"It'll be a long tale so i suggest some essentials are needed to stay refreshed." Antre suggested an offer anyone can't refuse.
"I'll get it, man, it's been so long since we have a campfire story, good thing it isn't scary or else i'll freak!" Bolin said with wide eyes, before shrugging it off as he went towards the kitchen to get them some food and supplies.
