The Forest Battle, 2010
Surrounded by trees, now trapped in a lush forest. The Autobots and their human allies begin to battle for the fight of their lifetimes... The Autobots defended their leader's dead body, tightly huddled around the fallen hero. Their guns blasting bullets in all directions as the Decepticons began to close in. Skids and Mudflap ran into the scene, kicking up dust as they ran and fired a blast at a Decepticon protoform. The gravity and seriousness of the situation not affecting their carefree mindset.
This is shown with their rather childish choice on language. Yelling "Suck it Decepticreep!" as their shots hit the protoform blowing up the metal in a grand explosion. The Twins nearing the body of their fallen leader continued to scream their battle cries:
"DIE!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The twins continued to charge heading for the body of Optimus Prime as the ground began to rumble. In a quick motion , the Twins, they stop looking at each other. Displaying an odd look of sorrow through their optics.
Mere moments after the twins give their non verbal goodbyes, a large metal worm burst up through the ground. It's pilot? The Decepticon Scientist, Shockwave. The worm gobbled the two up, which provided an ample distraction for the Autobots. The defenders of Optimus's body turned around facing the terrifying sight of the driller which just continued to flow out of the ground, it's length seeming infinite.
As the Autobots open fire, reinforcements arrive. A yellow muscle car driving onto the scene. Behind it was an Orange Lamborghini, following Bumblebee. The vehicle stopped, and transformed, the body taking on a distinctive orange hue, with objects akin to flames piercing out of the back.
"Looks like I missed most of the fun." The temporary leader of the Autobots exclaimed in a jovial voice as he brushed off the dust on his arms.
Following Hot Rod's action the Autobot Scout transformed to his robot mode, the sounds of his gears as he transformed out his cannon along with the activation of his battle mask queuing the others in that he was ready to fight. Pulling the Matrix out of a storage compartment, Bumblebee fired a blast at a soaring decepticon as he kneeled down next to his fallen friend. Raising the Matrix up into the air as his comrades covered him, the roar of the engines of a cybertronian jet pierced the air.
Firing two shots from his fusion cannon, the Decepticon Leader blasted Bumblebee to the ground shooting off one of his wings. Transforming to robot mode mid air, Megatron grabbed the Matrix and transformed once more to the top of a rock cliff. One covered by a lush green layer of grass. As the Cybertronian Jet transformed landing on the rock he clutched the matrix in his hand. Next to him stood his always scheming second in command, commander of the seekers, and vie for the throne, Starscream. Putting his hands into a pleading gesture as he bowed before Megatron in his thin body.
"Lord Megatron, welcome back.. I see you were successful in acquiring the matrix…. If I may ask what do yo-"
"Silence Starscream!" Yelled Megatron, "You ignorant buffoon. Allow me to use the Matrix as I wish. I see no need for me to share my plans with a scheming schmuck like you."
A tired expression formed of the face of the seeker as he stood upright once more. Looking at Megatron his red eyes filled with rage. He was done playing second fiddle to this egotistical, corrupt, and so called… leader. He deserved the throne more than anyone else among the ranks of the Decepticons.
In a swift motion, he activated his thrusters boosting off the ground, blowing away a spot of grass ramming into Megatron. At this close rand he grabbed one of his missiles and shoved it into megatron's arm, only leaping off just before it blew. As the cold metal arm flew through the air and Megatron stumbled backwards. Starscream fires another missile at Megatron's head, blowing a chunk of it clean off an optic now missing.
In Megatron's confusion and obvious agony Starscream seized his dreams grabbing the matrix of leadership from the hand of the "leader" he had just betrayed. Opening his spark chamber he shoved the Matrix of leadership in the power flowing through him, lighting up every crevice in his body in a bright blue as he began to morph into a stronger being. Now slightly taller than Megatron and most certainly more powerful he looked down at the fallen Decepticon Leader.
"What's wrong, Megatron. What're going to do with the Matrix of leadership? Oh wait.. YOU LOST it! HAHAHAHA!" Laughed the insane Decepticon.
"What're you going to do now, Starscream, kill me? Without me, you are nothing. You are not fit to rule the Decepticons..." Growled Megatron.
"We shall see Megatron… And kill you? HA! Why would I kill you! I have far better plans for you now… If you ask me.. You don't seem all too…. 'Mega' anymore… I think a new name is in order… I'll call you… my pet..." Starscream spoke as a large grin appeared on his face.
On Earth's orbit, several Cybertronian jets flew over to the planet, entering the atmosphere, and flying at the location Starscream had given the locations to. They enter the forest, upon entering they fire their rifles directly at Megatron, as two recognizable Seekers transform and land over a few trees, these being Skywarp and Thundercracker.
"Starscream! We're here!" Yelled Skywarp, awaiting an answer as Thundercracker left to kill the Autobots on the battlefield. The forest was burning as the Autobots held off against the Seekers that attacked them.
Now turning to face his loyal seekers starscream would have one simple request for them.
"Prepare a kill switch for my new pet, Skywarp. Thundercracker… guard this pitiful waste of scrap while I finish off our… Autobot guests.."
"Of course, lord Starscream, I will go back to Cybertron and request our most logical scientist.. Shockwave to do it at once." Skywarp responded in a humble tone, transforming and boosting off for Cybertron to carry out his new master's wishes.
"I will be leaving to deal with the Autobots now… I trust you won't let Megatron get away Thundercracker, hmm?"
"Of course, my.. new lord." After speaking, Thundercracker charged up his null rays as he stands guard around the once mighty Megatron. With a crackle of flames Starscream would fly off to the encircled Autobots. Touching down, not far away, Starscream entered into the clearing which housed the remaining Autobots. Holding his hand up he would signal all the decepticons to seize fire.
"Megatronhas surrendered his command of the Decepticon army, along with his free will… to me. As the new leader of the Decepticons! I Starscream.. The generous leader I am! Give you one chance to surrender yourselves to me."
With a look of shock on his face as the autobots let their guns droop down, Hot Rod began to walk forward to Starscream's position bumping his chest against Starscream's own, he noticed the glowing blue to this, he figured out he had the matrix from this new color hue and his new body. As he gasped slightly, he regained his composure and responded to starscream in a tone that acknowledged him as his new enemy.
"As long as I! Hot Rod remain alive.. Not a single Autobot will surrender to you, Starscream!"
With a quick rotation of his flame throwers he blasted flames at point blank range at Starscream, but to no avail. Seemingly unfazed starscream brushed his hand against Hot Rod's face knocking him to the ground.
"And what of the rest of you, will you follow this foolish child on his fools crusade?" Starscream mockingly questioned.
Stepping forward first Kup, Bumblebee, Ratchet, then the rest of the Autobots, all with scowls on their face as they stared down at Starscream.
"As long as a single Autobot is alive, we will never surrender to the likes of you Starscream. Autobots!" Kup would exclaim beginning their rallying cry for Hot Rod.
"ROLL OUT!" Hot Rod would scream, getting himself back up again as he followed it up with a blast of his rifle to Starscream's back.
"WHY YOU LITTLE! DECEPTICONS! ATTACK!" The enraged Starscream would yell as he pointed his fingers at the Autobots.
Holstering his gun, Hot Rod transformed into vehicle mode in synchronization with the rest of the Autobots, as one they made a tactical retreat driving out through the forest. Now fugitives of a newly established empire… A Decepticon Empire.
