Jamie shouldered the door of the truck she had "borrowed" closed and slowly walked up the driveway. She had a limp in her step, her dark hair lay in matted waves down her shoulders and there was still dirt and blood on her face. She rapped on the door with broken knuckles.

"Jamie?!" Donna was dressed in a robe, blonde hair loose, holding Noah on her hip. She gasped softly when she saw the hunter, taking in her haggard appearance. "Good gravy girl! You need a doctor!"

"I need a shower." Jamie muttered with a half-hearted chuckle. She leaned heavily against the doorframe.

"Mama!" Noah reached for her but Jamie brushed his hands away. "Mama."

"Mama need a minute, baby." She reached out and smoothed back his dirty blonde hair. "You got big." She forced a smile. He had a grown a couple inches, his eyes were brighter green, and she knew he was walking and talking far more then when she had left.

"All those Wheaties I've been feeding him, right Noah?" Donna tickled the boy and he laughed. Jamie smiled at the sound. "Well come on it, take a load off your bones."

Later, after a shower and a change of clothes Jamie emerged from Donna's spare room to find her boys and Emma all out of bed and waiting for her. Smiling Jamie bent down and gathered the three of them into her arms. "I missed you guys." She planted a kiss on each of their heads, holding them just a little tighter. "Donna took good care of you." She looked up at the woman standing just a few feet back. "Thank you."

Donna smiled. "Alex helped a lot. She's been over almost every week, when she's not working."

Jamie nodded, happy to hear that Jody's adopted daughter was involved in their lives. Alex had been their baby sitter for the last three years, ever since Jamie settled in Sioux Falls and Alex came to live with Jody. She had been easier for Jamie to get to know then Claire, despite the obvious similarities between Claire and herself. She found solace in Alex's quiet strength.

"I'm sorry you kind of became their de facto guardian." She picked up Noah and grabbed Emma's hand. "Let's get you guys to bed."

"Don't worry about it, Jamie." Donna tried to brush it off, taking Mark's hand and following them to the other bedroom.

"Why didn't you take them to Jody?" Jamie put Noah into the bed and kissed him, rubbing his back until he fell asleep. Emma and Mark curled up protectively around him.

Donna shrugged. "We'd didn't think it would be safe. With Jody being targeted. Alex filled me in about the British teatottlers…and then when you didn't come back…"

Jamie sighed. "Did…did Dean and Sam reach out to you?"

"Yeah. They wanted to make sure the kids were okay, but mostly they've been looking for Jack."

"Jack?"

A few hours later Jamie and Donna were sitting at the dining room table. Jamie had a laptop open and was furiously scribbling things down on the pad beside her. Donna's cellphone was also on the table. "Alright…So…Patience is a psychic, and Kaia is a…what?"

"I don't…she said she was a Dre-"

"A Dreamwalker. I..I yeah…I kind of know. It's in my Dad's journal. Which is probably in the trunk of the Impala." Jamie slumped back into her chair and then looked up at Donna.

"We will be there as soon as we can, Jody. You can count on us." Donna promised.

Jamie scribbled down a few more things. "Jamie?" Jody asked.

"Yeah Jody?"

"Glad you're back."

"Me too." Jamie switched off the phone and looked over at Donna. "Looks like we got work to do."

"You okay?" Donna helped Jamie load the last bit of gear into the truck.

"Yeah, not so much." Jamie muttered pulling her hair up into a messy bun. "Brothers missing. Leaving my kids again. Michael."

Donna raised an eyebrow. "Must have been hard…seeing that version of your…Archangel, like that."

Jamie cast a glance in her direction. She sighed heavily, crossing her arms over her chest. "The worst part is…he isn't that different from my husband. Michael is driven, stubborn…if he wants something, he'll get it, it doesn't matter the cost."

Donna's brow knitted in confusion. "So why isn't he out of the cage? Our-your-you know what I mean. He's powerful enough, and he has you, right?"

Jamie shook her head, she opened the door to the truck and got in. "I have most of his grace…or I had it. It was our means of protecting our sons. His power is only a fraction of what it once was. If this other Michael comes here…I don't know if my husband can defeat him."

"Well…first things first. Let's go save your brothers."

They pulled up to where Jody was parked with the girls. "Oooh, looks like a full house." Donna remarked with a smile. Jamie tried to smile back. "Hiya ladies." Donna said brightly, getting out of the truck.

"Hey Donna." Alex went over to hug her.

"Okay, you too rainbow brite."

"Patience, Kaia, this is Sheriff Donna Hanscum. She's uh…she's killed a lot of vampires." Jamie got out of the other side of the truck, pulling her up into a messy bun. She walked around the other side and Jody smirked. "And this…this Jamie Winchester. She's a psychic and one of the best damn hunters I've ever met."

"Winchester?" Patience asked timidly, looking to Jody. "Like Sam and Dean."

"Yup. This is Sam's twin, Dean's baby sister."

"Nobody's called me that in a long time, Jody." Jamie said tiredly as Alex hugged her.

"You okay? Looks like you lost a step." Claire edged her.

Jamie chuckled. "Not as young as I used to be. But don't worry. I'm as good once as I ever was."

"Ugh…that's lame, Jamie." Claire laughed, rolling her eyes.

Alex smirked. "Seriously though, you're good, right?"

"I'm good."

"Kaia, where were you when this all went down, with Sam and Dean?"

Kaia turned to look at Jody and Jamie. "I don't know. We were heading west out of Mankato towards Sioux Falls."

"Give me your hand." Jamie gestured for Kaia's hand. Kaia looked towards Jody who nodded. Jamie smiled. "I'm not going to hurt you, Kaia. I promise." Kaia placed her hand on top of Jamie's. She closed her eyes, suddenly pulled into a vision of the Impala.

"So route 14?" Donna asked.

"We got run off the road. We pulled into an abandoned boat yard. I didn't see a sign."

Jamie opened her eyes, looking at Donna and Jody.

"Is she having a vision?" Patience whispered to Alex who nodded. "She can just control it like that?"

Alex nodded again, googling something on her phone. "Jody says Jamie's powers are unlike anything she's ever encountered in a psychic. The story I've heard is that the Archangel Michael gave them to her when she was a baby."

"That's actually not how it happened." Jamie chuckled, looking over at Alex and Patience. "Did you find it?"

Alex held up her phone. "The Larsen Brothers' Shipyard. Closed down in '08."

"We'll check it out." Jody nodded to Donna and Jamie.

"Yeah."

Jamie glanced over at Claire. "Claire. Come here." She gestured to Jody.

Jamie, Jody, and Claire walked down to the shore. Jody glanced at Jamie who sighed, turning back to Claire. "What?" Claire asked.

"I know you want to see the action, Claire." Jamie told her. "But there's something else we need you to do."

"I know you're not gonna like this. But we need you to stay here and keep Kaia and the girls safe. Just until we've checked things out, okay?"

Claire looked over at Kaia. Jamie noticed, pressing her lips into a worried line. "Okay guys." Claire finally answered. "Go."

Jody, Donna, and Jamie sat in Donna's truck in front of the shipyard. Jamie handed Donna the binoculars. "This the right place?" Jody asked. Donna spotted the Impala parked a few feet away.

"You betcha."

Jamie got out followed by the sheriffs. "I'm gonna pop the trunk of the Impala and then I'll join you guys inside." Jody and Donna nodded as Jamie headed towards the car. "Oh Baby." She muttered. "I'm sorry I wasn't here to pick you up." She rubbed a spot of dust off the end of the Impala's trunk. "And I'm super sorry about this. Please don't tell Dean." She thrust her lockpick into the trunk's lock and then popped open the hood. "Okay…Dean, where the hell did you stash my duffel?" She poured through the contents until she found her black bag, quickly unzipping it and pulling out her handgun and ammo, followed by her knife and finally angel blade. Quickly she stripped herself of the jacket and plaid flannel she had borrowed from Donna, opting her own long sleeve navy t-shirt and black canvas jacket. She tightened her own belt into her jeans and then stashed her weapons. Closing the trunk she looked towards the dock. "Alright, let's do this." She slammed the trunk closed and headed inside.

"Donna? Jody?" She hissed, crawling her way through the darkened building. She stopped, seeing the melted blade on the concrete floor. "Oh hell." She looked up seeing a dark creature watching her. Sliding back Jamie whipped out her gun and started shooting at it.

"Jamie!" Donna and Jody arrived to help back her up.

"Did you find it?" Jamie asked as they rushed back.

"Yeah." Jody replied, resigned.

"I'll go, Jody." Jamie assured her as they leaned flat behind a wall to give themselves better position.

"Alright. I'll give you some cover." Jody and Donna rushed in a opposite direction so that Jamie could head up to the next level where the rift was.

Rushing up the stairs Jamie stopped short of the rift. "Oh wow." She muttered. "Alright Winchester, let's do this." She walked towards it slowly and then rushed into, catapulting herself into the alternative dimension.

"Oh…this sucks." She muttered, looking around. Just as she was about to move Claire and Kaia came through the rift. "Claire, Kaia, what the hell?"

"There's no time!" Claire protested.

"Yeah, it's this way." Kaia insisted, grabbing Jamie's arm. The three of them rushed off to find Dean and Sam.

"Okay, go." Jamie pushed the girls in the direction of her brothers, holding her gun out and watching their perimeter.

"Jamie?" Dean rushed over to her. "How?"

"Later. Hi Sam! Let's go." She grabbed Dean's arm and they rushed back to the rift.

"Go, go, go. Jamie you first." Dean shoved her through the portal just as her brothers' captor arrived.

"Dean? Sam?" Jamie landed back in their world. "Come on guys. What's the hold up!" She looked over just as Jody came rushing back.

Dean, Sam, and Claire came through the portal and it sealed behind them. "Where's Kaia?" She whispered, seeing Claire break down. Jody rushed to catch her, holding her and rocking her as she cried. Sam shook his head, looking remorseful. Dean wrapped his arm around his sister.

"Jamie." Dean pulled her around the corner, Sam following as the rest of the girls showed up. "Is Mom with you?"

Jamie shook her head. "No. I got out but I couldn't bring Mom with me."

"But she is alive?" Sam asked.

Jamie nodded. "Yeah."

"So what to do think Jamie?" Sam asked as they walked outside of Jody's house the next morning.

Jamie glanced back at the house and Jody and Dean. "I'm staying." She said as Dean walked towards her.

"Yeah I figured you would be." Dean wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head. "Take care of yourself. Catch me up on…all of it sometime."

"Yeah I will." She put her hands in her pockets. "I'm gonna go help Donna and the girls clean up inside." She smiled at Jody as she came out.

"How's Claire?" She heard Sam ask as she went into the house to help Alex, Patience, and Donna clean up the broken glass.

You're probably wondering why I didn't go back to the bunker with my brothers. Look, I've been doing this a long time. That battle, with Lucifer and that dick who thinks he's my husband, it's coming. I'm not the hunter I used to be. I'm a mom. I've two little boys and a daughter who need to be protected. This is my place. Sioux Falls. These women. They're the next generation of hunters. They need me, and I need them. My kids need a place where they can learn to embrace their heritage with others who are learning the Family Business.
