Jamie moved her hair back from her face and sighed. In the bowl in front of her, coated in blood was a silver medal baring Gabriel's effigy. As if defeated she flicked her wrist and the bowl moved across the table, away from her. " Ah..Aun…um…Jamie?" She looked up seeing Jack standing in the doorway, hair disheveled as if he had just woken up.

"Hey." She said softly, trying to smile as she looked over at him. "Did I wake you?"

Jack shook his head. "I can hear you…calling for Gabriel. Calling for Michael." He walked over and knelt down beside her, staring up at her with wide blue eyes. "I can hear your pain."

Jamie blinked back tears, looking up at the ceiling as she swallowed thickly, and then finally looked back at him. "Gabriel saved us." She said quietly. "He didn't…he shouldn't." She wiped her eyes stubbornly. "For a minute, Jack…for a minute I had my husband back. Gabriel could have helped me save my Michael. And now…they're both lost to darkness."

Jack reached out and hugged her and she reluctantly wrapped her arms around him. "Aunt Jamie." He breathed into her shoulder. She held him a little tighter. "Please don't leave." His request blindsided her but she nodded even as she pulled back from him. He was staring at her with those blue eyes again. The ones that seemed to look right into her soul.

"You should go with Rowena and Charlie." Dean remarked to his sister as he and Cas packed a duffel. It was early, and he moved easily around the table to collect supplies, eyes not on his sister but still wary of her presence.

Jamie was sitting in a chair reading. She was still wearing the same jeans and battered t-shirt from the day before, and Dean couldn't help but notice that it probably Sam's. She glanced up briefly and then shook her head. "No."

"Well sitting in that chair isn't gonna bring Gabriel back." Her oldest brother commented offhand. "And it isn't doing you any good to sit there trying."

"Dean, lay off her." Sam chastised, walking into the room followed by Mary and Bobby. Dean rolled his eyes and gestured to Cas. They went up the stairs. "I'm gonna do the thing." Sam raised his posterboard towards his sister. "You want to help?"

Jamie shook her head, getting up. "No, I'm gonna go for a walk." She grabbed her black canvas jacket from the chair.

"Okay honey." Mary reached out and smoothed Jamie's hair away from her face. "Maybe I'll join you later." Jamie tried to smile as she moved back and headed up the stairs. Mary sighed and looked at Sam. "She's really broken up."

"Yeah. She sent the kids back with Jody this morning, that's always a bad sign. I don't know if it's about Gabriel or if it's about…"

"Michael?" Mary supplied.

"Fill me in here, do you mean to tell me your daughter and your sister is mourning Michael?" Bobby asked, eyebrow raised.

Sam sighed softly, turning to Bobby. He hesitated for a moment, trying to find the right words. "Michael…our Michael, not…obviously, he and Jamie are…married." Sam cringed a little at Bobby's reaction.

"I thought you said Michael wasn't in this world!" Bobby exploded, looking betrayed.

Sam raised his hands, trying to calm the hunter. "He's locked in the cage. He's powerless…actually he's also insane. But before…before all that…he and Jamie…they have a bond. He's the father of her boys. She loves him…" He looked towards the stairs. "More then anything."

Jamie took off her jacket, feeling the rain pour down on her as she stepped into a clearing. She hung her jacket unto a tree branch and then reach up and pulled off the black long sleeve shirt she was wearing. Her grey cami came next, leaving her in just a white bra and jeans. She pulled out her knife from her belt and stepped further into the clearing. Using the knife she carved a sigil into her own flesh on her stomach. "Michael." Using her powers she pulled the blood from the wound into the air in front of her, painting a second sigil. "The blood of your vessel cries out to you. Hear me. Come to me." But there was only silence.

"Jamie!" She looked over, seeing Dean rushing towards her.

"Dean?" Her brother grabbed her and spun her around to face him.

His hand hovered over the wound. "You're hurt. Where you attacked? Sammy I found her!" He yelled over his shoulder. "What is this?" He was now holding his own flannel against the wound on her side.

"No. I…wait…what…what's going on?" He looked frantic and Sam rushed up, looking the same. "Someone's dead." She muttered, her eyes widening.

"Mmmm. Ouch." She glared at Castiel while he dabbed at the slashes with rubbing alcohol. "You could just heal me."

"This is self-inflicted." Cas monotoned. "You wanted pain, now you have it." He poured more alcohol over the wound and she groaned, nearly screaming at the feel. "Why would you do this?"

She looked over at him. "You don't understand!" She hissed. "Michael…I feel him. I have always been able to feel him. And I can't now!" Cas pressed a clean bandage against her side. "Mmm. I can't…and it's my fault. I let him use up what was left of his grace, and now…I can't feel him. I've lost him. I've lost him to insanity or worse in that cage!"

Cas shook his head, handing her the discarded t-shirt. "You love him. I know you love him. But doing this to yourself…it's not going to help him." He helped her down from the table as Dean and Sam came in with Maggie's friend. "Can you sense anything?" He whispered to her.

"Like what?" She asked, eyes on the girl, crossing her arms in front of her. Cas took a seat at the table as Jack joined them. Realizing she wasn't going to get an answer she moved to stand beside Jack.

"Word is your friends with Maggie." Dean started, walking around the table. Their interrogation was the last thing Jamie was interested in. Instead her attention was focused on Jack, and the anger rolling off him.

"There was a boy."

Jack's interest peaked and Jamie could feel the change. "What boy?"

"Jack." Jamie started to say under her breath. He didn't hear her. "Jack." She tried again but as she reached for him he was gone.

Dean, Sam, and Cas all turned to her. She sighed, running her hands through her hair.

"Come on, let's go." Dean urged, gesturing for his siblings and his angel to head up the stairs. Sam grabbed his jacket and he and Cas went ahead. Dean grabbed Jamie's jacket and tossed it to her. "Come on, you too. I'm not letting you out of my sight."

"What am I on suicide watch?" She rolled her eyes. Dean grabbed her by the back of her jacket and pulled her back to look at him. "What the-"

Dean glared at her, but his eyes were red. "Jamie." He hissed.

She sighed, and looked up at him. "I'm not…I'm trying to talk to him. I'm worried, alright? I'm just…very worried."

If he accepted her answer he made no reply, instead he just motioned for her to follow them out to the Impala.

They're quiet while they drive to the gas station. The rain is still lingering in the air and droplets pour down the window in cascading rivulets that seem to find each other in their stride. As they near the gas station a familiar pain splits through Jamie's skull, the ache of untold power triggering the grace that binds her soul with the genesis of her own power. "Dean." She reaches out, gripping her brother's jacket.

Cas is already out of the car before Dean even has it in park. The siblings follow his stride, finding Jack choking the innocent boy that he has mistaken for his friend's killer. Jack throws Cas to the floor even as Sam questions him. Dean, in no mood to bargain with the upset Nephilim goes for his gun.

"Cas." Jamie brushes past her brother for his angel. She reaches him as Dean shoots Jack three times in the back. Unhurt, but betrayed Jack drops the boy and turns to her oldest brother. Jamie meanwhile pulls the angel to his feet.

He grips her protectively, but his gaze is on Jack. "Jack." The paternity in his voice isn't lost on Jamie. Long ago he spoke to her eldest son like that.

"He killed Maggie." Jack insists, anger rolling off him in palpable streaks.

Jamie feels every one, but they become distorted. She feels her mind distort as something new tugs at her soul. Even as the revelation dawns on Jack, Jamie's attention is diverted elsewhere. "Dean." She whispers, turning. Dean doesn't hear her, Cas is saying something she can't hear. "Dean!" She yells, turning to her brothers and the angel. Just as the room begins to shake.

"Jamie." Sam grabs her, pulling her back a step, towards him. Dean ushers the door from the room. "Is it?" Sam is asking her just as the ringing of angel wings hits him.

She isn't affected by it. She never has been. Shoving her way in front of her brothers as they groan in pain but she stands straight, she faces the direction of Michael's arrival. "GET OUT OF HERE!" She screams, hands rising in front of her. Summoning as much strength as she can muster she sends a telekinetic blast at the archangel that throws him hard into the cooler.

"Jamie!" Sam grabs her, arm around her waist, half pulling half carrying her as they rush after Dean and Cas to the Impala. The windows shatter just as they reach the car, throwing them and Cas against it.

"It's not possible." Cas groans.

"Yeah, tell him that." Sam snarks.

Dean is fiddling for something in the trunk. Jamie rushes to his side, moving things out of the way as they both reach for the jar of holy oil.

"Lighter." Dean fumbles with his lighter as Jamie holds the jar. Michael appears in the doorway, and Jamie looks up towards him.

"No Cas, don't." Sam holds his brother's angel back.

"No Cas, please do." Michael replies, though his gaze travels to Jamie. Dean has lit the jar and Jamie hurls it to Michael's feet. The holy oil shatters, forming a ring around the archangel.

"Run!" Dean commands. "Go, go, go, go." He grabs his sister, pulling her towards the passenger door. Cas and Sam follow. He turns on the ignition and peels out of the parking lot. Jamie twists around to watch, Cas doing the same.

"Oh my god." She sinks back down in her seat, hands clutching for her heart.

Sam's phone rings and all of them nearly jump out of their skin. "It's okay." Sam has to take a breath as he looks at his phone. "It's Mom." He answers and then realizes he's talking to Bobby.

"What is it?" Dean asks. But Sam doesn't answer.

When they reach the bunker, Sam is the first one inside, instantly he's looking for Jack. "He's not…He's gone." Mary confesses.

"How did Michael and Lucifer both get here? How'd they open a rift?" Sam is angry, pacing between Dean and Cas.

Jamie is sitting on the table, eyes closed, legs crossed, trying to meditate.

"You know what? It doesn't…it doesn't make sense! We've got to find Jack before Michael does whatever the hell he's gonna do, okay!" Dean yells back, unable to contain the frustration in his voice. "I'll call Jody and everyone else."

Mary is seated beside Jamie, with Bobby behind her. "You're gonna put an APB out on the devil?" He asks.

"Yeah, I am." Dean walks away.

Cas watches him, sighing. "Ill check angel radio." He is trying to be helpful, but knows it won't work.

Mary sighs, rubbing Jamie's thigh. "Jamie, anything?" Jamie sighs, opening her eyes and catching her breath. She shakes her head. Mary rubs her daughter's knee as she turns her attention to Sam. "Sam, even if we find Lucifer how are we gonna stop him?" Sam doesn't have an answer.

"Ahhhhhh." Jamie grabs her chest. Mary is on her feet and Sam rushes to her side.

"Jamie?" Sam asks. "Hey. What's going on?"

Jamie shakes her head. "It's Michael." She opens her eyes. "He's trying to find me. He's using Enochian magic. Trying to tap the shared grace between me and…"She gestures to the ground. "But my husband isn't letting him."

"You can feel him again?" Mary puts both hands on her daughter's knees. "You can feel your Michael?"

Jamie nods. "He grows stronger. He's resisting Michael's magic as best he can but it won't hold for long."

"Okay Jody's looking, but so far nada." Dean rejoins the room an hour later. Cas is sitting at the table with Mary and Bobby. Sam and Jamie are no where to be seen. "Where's Jamie?"

"She's resting. Sam's with Maggie." Mary answers.

"Angel radio is nothing but static. Which is disturbing." Cas confirms.

"Great we'll add it to the list."

Jamie can't sleep. She can't rest. She tosses and turns in Dean's bed until recognizing it's futile she rises. "Michael." She whispers into the darkness. "Come to me."

Blue strands of grace leak from the walls, swirling into iridescent the form of her Michael. "Jamie." His voice, a disembodied whisper, fills the room. She takes a step towards him. "I cannot remain here."

"I know." She answers. "He's on his way."

"Yes."

She lifts her chin, steeling herself as she tries to maintain calm. "What do I do?"

"Take this. Use it only if you have to. It will weaken you. It will weaken us." Michael extends his hand towards her, and his archangel blade falls into her hand. His form disintegrates. "I love you."

Jamie takes a breath, staring at the sword, and then rushes through the door. "Dean! Sam! Mom!" She yells, just as the room begins to shake. The lights flicker. Sam rushes in from the library.

"What the hell?" he asks.

"Michael." His twins replies. The door begins to rattle. Jamie looks towards Maggie. "She needs to get out of here." She turns to Sam.

Sam nods. "Mom, Bobby, take Maggie out of here." Sam directs.

"Go through the garage." Jamie adds.

"We'll buy you some time." Dean concurs.

"No!" Mary is beside herself even as Bobby pulls her back.

"Mom."

"Please."

"Go."

Her children pleads echo through her ears, but Bobby is pulling her and she has no choice but to leave them.

Jamie joins her brothers at her place at the table, the four of them, looking up towards the door. As Michael bursts through the door her brothers draw their guns. Cas draws his blade. She starts to reach for the archangel blade hidden behind her back but stops and raising her hand instead. When Michael appears her brothers shoot. The bullets do nothing.

Michael levitates down to them. Cas, the closest, raising his blade to strike but Michael blocks his coming blow, throwing Cas over the table and to the ground. "Cas!" Jamie rushes but Michael grabs her throat.

"You really thought you could run from me?" He tightens his grip on her throat and then throws her to the ground beside Cas.

Coughing, Jamie looks up. Her vision blurs but she sees Michael with his hand around Dean's throat. "And you Dean Winchester, will be the first life I take in this world. The first soul I save."

"Michael. Michael please." Jamie begs, trying to get to her feet.

"Don't even try, Jamie." Michael's grip on Dean's throat is tightening. She can hear Sam praying to Jack, they need time. "I'm going to kill each and every one of the people you love, wife." He spits. "And then I'm going to kill you."

"I'm not your wife." Jamie sneers, almost to her feet.

Michael chuckles, his attention back on Dean. His grip tightening. "I could've done this quick, but I wanted to enjoy it. That moment when the soul leaves the body…beautiful."

Jamie raises her hand to send Michael back, but Jack gets there first, sending a blast that shoves Michael into a pole. "Dean!" Jamie rushes to her brother. If she noticed Lucifer that was the last thing on her mind. She helps Dean to his feet, watching Jack torture Michael. Across the room Cas regains consciousness.

"Lucifer! We-we had a deal!" Michael screams.

"Okay, game over! Hey buddy let's uh…" Lucifer backtracks quickly, gesturing for Jack.

Jamie looks at Dean and then back to Jack. "What did he mean?" Jack asks.

Lucifer stutters, falling over his words. Dean and Jamie, however, heard loud and clear. "They had a deal." Dean says.

"They worked together to open a rift and come here." Jamie adds.

"Lucifer gets you. And Michael gets everything else." Dean finishes. "He's gonna nuke our world, Jack. Just like he did to his."

"Is that true?"

Lucifer grins. "No! It's not."

"Is that why you wanted us to leave?"

Sam looks up. "Leave?" Everyone's attention focuses to Lucifer.

"He said. He said we'd go to the stars."

"What you're just gonna leave the rest of us to burn?" Cas asks.

"Okay. Hold on a second. Let's slow down…cause I…I'm not currently the bad guy here."

Sam shakes his head. "Yeah. Tell that to Maggie."

"What about Maggie?"

"Maggie saw the eyes of the person who killed her. The glowing red eyes." Sam emphasizes glowing, red.

Dean wheezes, breaking Jamie's attention as she turns to her brother, moving a little closer to her him. Michael crawls on the floor and Jamie kicks him in the gut. "Stay." She hisses.

Lucifer laughs. "You're gonna…you're gonna believe this guy? Come on man! Sam's a hater. He would say anything to get you on his side."

Jack snarls. "Tell me." He walks towards the Devil. "Tell me the truth." Walking towards Lucifer his eyes glow, his hand extended he uses his powers to force the truth.

Lucifer's eyes glow as well. "She saw me when I was scouting out the bunker. She saw me and she screamed and then so I crushed her skull with my bare hands. And it was warm and wet and I liked it."

Jamie inhales sharply, Dean throws his arm around her shoulder. Jack whimpers, tears in his eyes as he releases Lucifer. "You're not my father. You're a monster."

Lucifer sighs, moving back and forth. "Come on man!" He finally snaps. His eyes glow red and he roars into Jack's face. Dean grabs for his ears, so does Sam. Jamie grabs for her brother. "Okay." Lucifer points at Jack. "I tried with you. I really tried with you."

"Everything you told me was a lie!"

"Because I told you what you wanted to hear man! So what, I killed the girl! Big deal! She's a she's a human! She doesn't matter!"

"So am I!" Jack retorts.

"Yeah? And that's your problem. You're too much like your mother."

Cas's eyes narrow. "Jack." He starts for the boy.

"Stay back." Jack puts his hand up to stall Cas's advance. "I'll handle him." His eyes never leave Lucifer's face.

"Will you?" Lucifer stalks towards him. "Oh buddy. We could've been something you and me. We could've remade the universe. It would've been great. We could've been better gods then Dad. And I really wanted that, pal. I wanted that. But now, if I can't have it with you, I..I don't need ya."Jamie's eyes widen in horror as she senses what Lucifer's about to do. "I just need your power." Lucifer draws his archangel blade and slices Jack's neck.

"Jack!" All three Winchester siblings yell at the same time.

"No!" Cas screams, as Lucifer grabs the boy, inhaling his grace. He heals the cut, but his grip on his son doesn't not change. "Jack!" Cas starts for them, but Sam is already there. He grabs on but Cas is too late. Lucifer, Jack, and Sam vanish.

"No! Sam!" Jamie and Dean both rush forward. Cas is thrown to the ground.
"Sammy!" Dean yells, eyes searching the room.

"How do we stop him!" Cas's anger turns on Michael who has risen to his feet. He stalks over to Dean and Jamie, standing behind them.

"You don't. After consuming the nephilim's grace, Lucifer is juiced up. He's super charged. He'll kill the boy. Your brother. Hell he could end the whole universe if he put his mind to it. And you thought I was bad."

Jamie's head comes up. "You are bad, you son of a bitch."

Michael looks over at her. "Am I so different then the angel you love?"

Jamie swallows thickly. "The man I love understood that he was not the master of this world. And the man I love was strong enough to defeat Lucifer."

"I could've." Michael retorts. "When he was weaker, and I was stronger. Believe me, I'd love to rip my brother apart. But now in this banged up meatsuit…not happening. This is the end, of everything."

Jamie's eyes widen as realization dawns on her. It dawns on Dean too and she slowly looks over at her brother. "Dean…"

"No." Dean says, looking towards Michael.

"Dean. No." Jamie shakes her head. Cas looks confused but it becomes clear to him too.

Ignoring his sister and his angel Dean continues. "What if…what if you had your sword."

"Dean, no." Cas echoes Jamie's objection, both of them moving slowly towards him.

Dean moves away from them, walking slowly towards Michael. "I am your sword. Your perfect vessel. The righteous man. With me you'd be stronger than you've ever been." He recites his titles, his eyes set on Michael.

"Dean, don't do this." Jamie hisses.

"Oh I know what you are." Michael answers, ignoring Jamie.

"If we work together can we beat Lucifer?" Dean asks, begs really.

"Dean-" Cas begins

"Can we?!" Dean yells, ignoring Cas.

Michael's gaze is pointed on Dean. "We'd have a chance."

"Dean, you can't!" Cas hisses, walking towards him.

"Don't do this!" Jamie adds, joining Cas's side.

Dean turns around, glaring at his angel and his sister. "Lucifer has Sam." His voice is low. He's made up his mind. "He has Jack! Cas, Jamie, I don't have a choice!"

"Listen to me, dammnit!" Jamie yells, grabbing his shirt. He moves out of her grip. "If you're going to say yes, don't say yes to him!"

Dean stops, and turns back to her. "What?"

Jamie swallows thickly. "Don't say yes to him. Let's go find Rowena and get Michael out of the cage. My Michael. The man I trust. He will betray us."

"We don't have time." Dean turns back to the Michael in the room. "If we do this, it's a onetime deal. I'm in charge."

"Dean he'll break that deal!" Jamie is almost screaming, but Dean ignores her.

"You're the engine, but I'm behind the wheel." He finishes. "Understand?"

Michael looks at him, silent for a moment, and then nods. "Let's do this."

"I can't watch this." Jamie turns into Cas. He holds her.

"Yes."

When Dean says yes and takes in Michael he disappears. Jamie and Cas are left alone. Tears already fall down Jamie's face as she breaks from Cas. "Michael!" She finally yells. "Michael why didn't you come?!"

"Jamie." Cas whispers.

"He's not coming back, Cas. He's not coming back."
