"Mom?"

Jamie slowly opened her eyes, pulling the soft black comforter away from her face, but not before her fingers uncurled from Gabriel's archangel blade from where it was hidden beneath the mattress, always within arm's reach. A pair of turquoise eyes and two nearly identical sets of emerald green ones were all staring at her. "What's wrong?" She sat up, immediately on alert, as three bodies converged upon her, diving under the comforter and searching for her skin. "Guys…what's wrong?"

"Well…Emma had the dream again. And then Noah woke up." Her eight-year-old explained, sheepishly as he wrapped his arms around her, leaning into her shoulder. Emma took her other arm and Noah flopped between her and his big brother.

Jamie sighed, moving around to try and get comfortable despite the tangle of limbs and heads. "This bed isn't big enough for all three of you." She muttered, mostly in vain. Her three-year-old snorted in reply, already asleep with his head propped on her stomach.

She lovingly rolled her eyes, before reaching over and brushing back strawberry-blonde hair from Emma's face. When she was a toddler her hair was a dark auburn, darker then Jamie's ever naturally was, and she had hoped it would stay that way, nature-and Chuck-had different plans however. Every day now, it seemed to Jamie, Emma was resembling the woman Sam had shot dead seven years before. All ways except two very important ones: her growth was not accelerated, Chuck had promised it would not be, and her eyes were green, the sole confirmation that she was not Lydia's daughter. "Emma…" Jamie muttered softly. "Tell me what you saw." Jamie's daughter with Jamie's powers.

Emma cringed. "Michael." She whispered. "Same as before. He wants Mark and Noah. He can't find us and it makes him…very angry." Every last bit of her Michael, her husband's grace was streaming into the warding protecting their sons, hiding them from his alternative self. Hiding them from the man wearing her brother's face.

Jamie sighed softly, holding Dean's daughter closer to her chest. "Go back to sleep, Emma. No more bad dreams." She whispered, even though she knew the dream was to become a reality.

"Mark. You need to get ready." She let her children sleep for a little longer then she should have, but now they needed to go. She changed quickly into jeans and a dark flannel, pulling her back into a messy bun. "Patience will be here any minute." She called down the hall. Noah was still asleep on the bed. She would let him sleep.

A knock on the door almost startled her. "I got it!" Emma raced in socked feet to the door and pulled it open. "Patience!" She cooed.

"Jamie?" The psychic called. Jamie scooped Noah into her arms and brought him out to her. "What's the rush? What's the matter?" She asked, taking the toddler.

"He's coming." She said softly, trying not to let Emma and Mark hear. Patience's eyes lit up in terror. "They're warded. He's coming for me." Jamie insisted, trying to dispel her fears. "You, Claire, and Alex…you should be safe. But I need the kids out of here. He senses me, and he'll come for me because he wants them."

"Mom?" Mark questioned coming towards her. "What happened?"

Jamie turns to face her son, frowning deeply. "Mark…" She leans down to eye-level with him. He searches her eyes, grimaces, and then hugs her tight. She hugs him back. "Take your brother and sister outside as fast as you can." She whispers. He nods, grabbing Emma's hand, and then unto Patience's jacket, urging them out of the door. She shoves and locks the door behind them. Now she needs to prepare.

"Mom? It's me, it's Jamie. Look um…if you don't hear from me in the next 6 hours um… Patience knows that if I don't…that she's supposed to take the boys and Emma to Donna's cabin. My journal is in Mark's backpack, along with my will which names Donna as their legal guardian. I want you to tell Sam and Cas not to give up trying to save Dean. I love you, Mom." She ends the call and places her phone on the kitchen table.

Slowly she walks towards her bedroom. Her hand reaches out and grabs Michael's spear from where it hangs above her bed. She flips it expertly in her grip, the wood cool and smooth against her skin. "I know you're here." She turns to face Michael, wearing her brother's face.

"Hello Jamie." He coos, softly. "Pleasure to see you again."

"Get out of my brother." She hisses. "Leave my family alone."

He chuckles. "Your family? Isn't it also my family, wife?" He takes a step towards her, her eyes darting to the spear. "You have something of mine."

"I'm not your wife." She replies defiantly. "And this belongs to me."

He scoffs. "I highly doubt that. Come on, Jamie. We both know you're not going to kill me as long as I'm inside your brother. So why not just give me what I want? I might even let you live. This time."

"Get away from my wife." A new voice fills the air.

Michael cocks his head to the side. "Strange." He looks around. "Where is that coming from?"

"From me." Jamie's husband steps out from behind her, wearing the face of John Winchester's younger self.

"I thought you were locked in the cage."

"I am."

"Ah. So the witch cast a spell. Interesting. Isn't this how boy number 2 was conceived?"

"Shut up." Jamie hisses, joining her shoulder with her husband's.

"I'm stronger then both of you. I have the true vessel. The sword." Michael hisses even as he takes a step back.

"You may have our sword, but this is no second-rate vessel. This meat-suit is John Winchester, the very one you dismissed."

"It didn't suit my needs."

"More like it didn't suit your need for control."

"How is it you control him? Knowing essentially he's screwing his own daughter. Or is that exactly how?"

Jamie took a step forward but her husband held her back.

"Nice try, but we both know you're scared. You have the sword, but I have the spear. And I have our prophetess to wield it."

"You think that wife of yours can stop me?"

"I think you're a fool to doubt it. Winchesters do not yield."

"Some of them do."

"Enough." She raised the spear to strike, but Michael suddenly disappeared. She set the spear against her shoulder, turning to her husband. He ghosted his hand through her hair. She leaned into his embrace. His breath was cool against her face. "Come back to me." She whispered even as his form evaporated, the grace piercing against her heart as he left.

"Jamie? It's Dean. Have you talked to Mom?" Jamie stirred the soup she was making, the phone clenched between her ear and her shoulder.

"Yeah, she called me this morning. Said Bobby is healing really well, and they're doing alright. Why? Has she still not called you back?" Noah pulled on her jeans, whimpering for his cup. She grabbed the sippy cup from the counter and handed it to her younger son.

"No, she hasn't called me back in awhile. Listen…have you heard anything more about Dark Kaia and her spear?" She hasn't told them about the confrontation with Michael over his spear. As far as they know it's still in pieces.

"No. Why? Have you found Michael?"

"We have a lead."

"How did you manage that?" She turns the heat off and sets the pot on a cool burner. She turns around and gestures for Mark and Emma to put their homework aside. "Mark, set the table." She urges, turning the phone away for a brief moment. As Dean recounts Jack's illness and death, and their efforts to bring him back she listens silently, sitting at the table with her children. "Why didn't you call me?" She finally asks.

"Would you have come if I did?" Dean's voice sounds tired and far off.

"Of course I would have." She replies back sharply. "Jack is my nephew!" There's tears in her eyes as she realizes they almost lost him. Lucifer be damned, that boy was apart of her family, and Michael had made her promise long ago to protect him.

"You've been distant Jamie." That's true. She has. And clearly she shouldn't have. "Did…did Michael try to hurt you or the boys?" He finally asks. The hesitance and then guilt in his voice kills her inside.

"Don't worry about it, Dean. I handled it."

"Oh my god! Jamie…I…how did you…"

"I told you, I handled it." Her tone makes it clear she doesn't want to discuss it. "So, you know where he is now?"

She shows up just after Garth's call with Michael's plan. The stairs are loud with her descent. "I got here as fast as I could." She rushes into Sam's arms. "Michael's plan is to take down Kansas City?"

"The whole damn town." Dean echos. Cas moves to sit closer to the hunter, leaning on his arm, his eyes move from Dean to Sam. Sam's arm comes up to hold Jamie tighter to his chest.

" It's gonna be a bloodbath. All of Michael's monsters activating at once, attacking, turning everyone in Kansas City."

Jamie grips her twin's arm. "It's his army." Cas monotones, his fingers pressed against his mouth.

"And all on a night when nobody's guard's up, all nogged up waiting for Santa." Dean adds.

"All the kids tucked up tight. They're just sitting ducks." Jamie bites her lip, eyes falling to the ground as she thinks of her own three children.

Dean shakes his head. "Merry friggin' Christmas."

Jamie moves from Sam's grip around the table to stand between Dean and Jack. "Garth said Michael was gonna give the signal at midnight, so if we can get to him before he does…"

"Then we can stop this." Jack chimes in.

"And with the spear still in play, that can hurt Michael." Dean glances around the table at his family. "Given as much trouble as he's gone through to fine it, it might do worse. Could be a shot at killing the son of a bitch."

Jamie sucks her breath in sharply. "Jamie?" Sam asks. "What do you think?"

"If it can kill him, I'll know." She answers.

"We also might be able to trap him. Bobby's been working on those angel cuffs." Cas adds. "They might be able to hold him."

Sam nods. "Yeah, and, getting the egg? I mean we have Rowena's spell we could put Michael back in the Cage. It's literally a trip to the post office."

"Back in the Cage?" Jamie suddenly looks towards her twin. "He is in the Cage. Our Michael anyway. This is not my husband, this is the Michael that's already destroyed one world."

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that." Sam quickly apologizes.

"Okay, well, getting the spear is literally a trip to the Carter Lake recycling facilities." Dean gets up, looking at his phone. "I say we get both. Me and Cas, we'll go deal with Michael's monsters and get the spear. You, Jamie, and Jack, you do your mail run and get the egg. We'll meet back at Hitomi Plaza with both weapons, and we'll hit him from both sides." Sam nods. Jamie grabs Jack's shoulder.

"Agreed. Let's go. Jack." Jamie gestures for her nephew. Sam gestures for his twin. Dean turns to look at Cas.

"Jamie!" She looks up from where she's packing her and Sam's bags into the spare car to see Jack coming towards her. "Hey, Aunt Jay." She smiles at the nickname. "You know that Sam didn't really…didn't really mean put Michael back, right, just put him there, if Dean can't kill him."

Jamie smiles and nods. "I know. He just misspoke." She pats Jack's arm.

"Could you?" Jamie tilts her head at Jack's question. "Could you kill him? I mean…he's basically the same…person…as-"

"He's not." Jamie shakes her head. "He's not my husband. He feels differently than my Michael does. His grace feels…dark, and empty. My husband is…well….he is not dark or empty."

Jack smiles. "I wish I could meet your Michael. He sounds…a great deal different, then this one…or…the way Dean talks about…"

Jamie smirks. "I know how Dean talks about him. And he's right, Michael can be a dick, but…he saved our lives once. And Dean tries to forget that." They look up as Sam comes out. "Ready?"

"Ready." Sam says, casting a smile at Jack, let's get outta here.

It's morning by the time they make it to the post office. "Alright, I'm gonna cut the power, Jack you stand watch. Jamie…"

"I'm gonna go around back just in case." Jamie gets out first. "I'll be right back." She walks around to the back, hands in her pockets, trying to look inconspicuous. Once she's out of sight she slips behind the trash cans in the alley way. "Michael?" She questions.

Michael's grace rises from the locket around her neck. "Kaia's spear. Is it made from yours? In the alternate dimension?" Michael's grace fills her senses, before disappearing back in the locket, giving her the answer she seeks.

"You guys got it?" Jamie walks into the building just in time to see Sam and Jack round the corner."

"Yeah." Jack holds it up. Jamie kicks at and shoves the door back open.

"Good. We gotta get outta here." Jamie gestures him through.

"It's lighter than I expected." Jack comments. "Hey, Happy Holidays." He points to the sticker.

Jamie gets a cold shiver. Sam looks up and notices a black suv parked in the driveway.

"Sam."

"Jamie!" Sam shoves his sister forward, only for him to get hit in the back of the head, by a werewolf.

"Jack!" Jamie rushes for Jack, only be held back. "Michael." She rasps, seeing the archangel's newest vessel.

"Jack!" Sam yells, as two werewolves grab Jack and drag him to the SUV.

"I wouldn't." Michael taunts. "Hey Sam." He looks down. "Jamie." Jamie is thrown into Sam. Michael shows them the egg. "Happy Holidays." Jamie opens her hand, focusing her telekinesis on the egg. "Uh, uh." Michael throws Jamie back against the pavement.

Sam grabs her and helps her up. "How'd you find us?" He asks, glaring at the archangel.

"What are you going to do, Sam? Hmm?"

Sam looks at Jamie and in a split second they both draw their angel blades. "You're gonna kill us anyways."

Michael throws his hand out and sends Sam sprawling into a truck. Jamie rushes forward and slashes at him, but he throws his hand back and she flies into the truck beside Sam. The twins cough, groaning as they sit up. Michael walks forward and his eyes glow. He begins to melt the egg.

"No!" Sam yells. Jamie grabs his arm to prevent his movement, but as he tries to get up, Michael throws both of them back against the truck, knocking Sam unconscious, but Jamie, doesn't take as hard of a hit is still with it.

Michael grabs her throat and presses her against the truck. "Hello wife." He rasps.

"I'm not your wife." She sneers. He taps the necklace around her neck, going to grab it. "No!" She hisses and Michael's grace fills her eyes as she blinks vibrant blue irises. Michael snarls, his eyes purple. He drops her and walks away. Jamie collapses beside Sam.

When they come too Jamie gasps and Sam scrambles to his feet. "You okay?" He pulls her up.

Jamie nods. "Yeah."

"Okay. I'm gonna call Dean. You get the car, we gotta get outta here." He hands her the keys. She goes to the car and opens the trunk.

"Great." Sam comes towards her. "I know. Drive fast." He hangs up and then looks at Jamie.

Jamie pulls out a dark sheet. "What's that?" Jamie unwraps Michael's spear. "Is that…"

"Back up." Jamie replies. "Dean and Cas have Kaia's?"

Sam nods. Jamie nods. "Then we're good." She brings the spear and gets into the car. Sam gets in the driver's side.

"Why didn't he kill us?"

"He's gaming us. He wants something from us."

"What?"

"I don't know."

They park the car and get out, hiding themselves as they wait for the werewolves who jumped them. Jamie takes off after the younger one while Sam deals with the one who hit him at the post office.

"Sorry kid." Jamie stops the boy dead in his tracks and decapitates him. She meets back up with Sam just after he decapitates the woman in the elevator. "Nice." She steps over the body gets into the elevator with him.

"Can you feel Jack?"

She nods. "This way." She leads her twin to the room where Jack is bound.

"Sam! Jamie!" Jack yells, happy to see them. Jamie stays by the door as Sam cuts him loose.

"Where's Michael?" Sam asks, helping him up.

"Not here." Jamie replies. Just as she sees movement in the hallway. "Incoming!"

Sam gets ready only for Jamie raise her hand. "Wait. It's Garth."

Meeting up with their friend the twins and Jack rush downstairs to find Dean and Cas. "Dean and Cas are on their way."

"Still no sign of Michael." Jamie adds, looking around.

Suddenly Garth turns and starts to groan, the Winchesters, now aware look concerned. "Garth?" Jack asks tentatively going over to him. He puts a hand on the werewolf's shoulder when Garth viciously backhands him. He starts to change.

"Jack!" Jamie drops to the ground to grab her nephew.

"What the hell?" Sam gasps out.

"Sam, I'm sorry! He's in my head. He won't stop." Garth continues to change. "I'm sorry!" He growls, teeth exposed, and attacks Sam.

"Jack, wake up." Jamie slaps Jack's face and he regains consciousness. Jamie moves quickly from her nephew to her brother, jumping up and kicking Garth back into the wall. He growls and jumps at her only to be thrown back by Jack. They fall to the ground and Garth claws at Jack. Jamie and Sam grab him, pulling him off of Jack. Sam wraps his arm around Garth's throat, choking him in a sleeper hold while Jamie goes over to check Jack out.

Dean and Cas rush over just as Sam throws Garth to the ground. While Sam and Dean catch each other up, Cas and Jamie tend to Jack's scratched face.

Dean tries to turn a trick with the spear and Jamie looks over, suddenly remembering. "How we looking over there?" Dean asks, looking towards Cas.

"Good as new." Cas replies.

Jamie looks towards the car and then to her brothers. She moves away, grabbing Jack and patting his shoulder as they move towards Sam and Dean. "Jack?" Dean asks, concerned.

Jack sighs. "He's up there, waiting for us."

"You know, Michael's monsters are all over this city. If he feared us in the least, he would have sent some our way." Cas sighs.

Sam nods. "Yeah well he could've killed Jamie and me, back at the shipping facility. I think he wanted us to come here."

"We have to remember Michael will sense my approach. And Jamie's." Cas nods to her.

"So zero element of surprise." Dean cuts in.

"Walking right into a trap."

"That is set by a full-power archangel."

Dean scoffs. "Impossible odds."

"We've done it before." Jamie adds.

"Feels like home." Dean agrees. "Let's do it." He leads the way. Cas follows him, with Sam, Jamie, and Jack on their heels. Cas draws his angel blade. Sam draws his knife. Jamie holds out her hand and her spears flies into her hand. Dean looks back and raises an eyebrow. Jamie smirks. Dean smirks and a nod passes between them. They split up to take their positions.

When Michael throws Sam and Jack into the wall, Dean and Jamie burst out from the doors. Dean goes to stab him, but he retracts at the last minute, blocking his advance. Jamie rushes forward and plants the spear, using it to kick Michael back away from Dean. He grabs unto her and flings her unto the ground beside Cas. Dean tries to stab him again, but he blocks it.

"You got it."

"I sure did."

Michael blocks Dean's attack, grabbing the spear and punching him in the face. He kicks him away and Kaia's spear clatters to the ground. Jamie hits Michael in the back with the spear, sending him sprawling forward. He turns and they fight, Jamie goes to stab him but he telekinetically throws her against the wall. Sam crawls toward Kaia's spear as Dean gets up. Michael grabs him by the throat and pulls him up. "I'm so glad you could make it tonight. I know you hate me Dean, but don't forget you let me in." He drops him to the ground and walks towards him. "And now you get to see it. Everything your mistake will make possible. All the bloodshed, all the death, all on you." He raises his hand towards Dean. Jamie holds her side, and flings her spear at Michael with her telekinesis. He blocks it hard, but it gives Sam time to throw Kaia's spear to Dean. Dean whips it around and slashes at Michael's arm. "Trust me, that's gonna leave a scar." He gets up and corners Michael with the spear. Jamie drags herself over to where Michael threw his spear. Sam and Jack get up as does Cas whose regained consciousness. Jamie grabs her spear and moves to Cas and Jack, holding her spear in front of her body.

"Kill him!" Jack roars.

"Dean…" Jamie gasps, flashes of Michael's atrocities while he was inside Dean play before her eyes. She realizes they're playing before Dean's eyes as well.

Cas breaks his vision of Dean to look at Jamie. She drops the spear and falls against the door just as the vessel Michael was inhabiting drops. Dean walks forward and then turns towards them.

"Dean?" Cas asks.
Jack grabs unto Jamie and helps her up as Dean breaks Kaia's spear in two and tosses it aside. His eyes glow.

"No." Sam begs.

"Yeah. When I gave up Dean you didn't think to question it? To ask why? Dean was resisting me. He was too attached to you, to all of you. He wouldn't stop squirming. To get out out, to get back. So I left…but not without leaving the door open just a crack." He picks up the unfinished glass of whiskey.

"Why wait?" Cas breaths.

"To break him, to crush and disappoint him so completely that, this time, he'll be nice and quiet for a change. Buried. And he is. He's gone." He drinks the rest of the glass. "And now I have a whole army out there, waiting, ready for my command, ready, for this." He raises his hand as Sam, Cas, Jamie, and Jack watch on in horror, and snaps his fingers.
