So, this is something I didn't think I'd be doing today. Since I take so long to actually update my stories I'm starting this little mini series full of scenes I thought up out of nowhere for no reason. You probably guessed this already, but this is gonna have Spoilers for future parts of some of my stories. Though some, like this one, will be purely ideas. While lore-linked, this current chapter will not have any link to my Rising Legend story or anything else Destiny related.

Jade's POV
I could feel the Dark energy flowing into me, replacing the Solar heat inside with frigid Stasis. Looking down, I could see ice beginning to consume my body, until my vision became crystal blue.
Suddenly, my head became filled with old memories, none of them good.
"Dawn, tell me that screen doesn't say what I think it does… what the hell am I?"
"Your Ghost is gone, damnit! You have to get out of here, I'll go get her, just live and get off this Moon!"
"Don't go.. we'll get our home back from them, but I can't do it without you!"
I didn't want to see all this in my head again, I did everything I could to resist and push them out, but they kept overflowing.
"Half of my fireteam.. my family.. gone. Noir, what am I supposed to do now?"
"Dawn, that wave of light.. it was his Ghost wasn't it?"
"Uldren Sov.. is mine."
Damnit, get out of my head! I know I'm not perfect, I know I couldn't save everyone, that's why I'm here!
"And thanks.. for being my Guardian."
Right.. that's why I'm still here. The Light wasn't enough to save them, so I turned to the Darkness.. I need this power.. to save my family…
To destroy the Darkness

And break whatever stands in my way
With every ounce of strength and rage in my body, I broke free from the ice feeling new power coursing through my body.
To my right, multiple Vex materialized and began their advance. I gave them no chances. In my right hand, a freezing shuriken formed. I threw it at the nearest Vex Goblin, and it instantly froze and shattered. A couple more followed as the projectile shot toward its next kill.
Behind me, another group appeared and fired at me. Before any of their shots could connect, I formed a ball of Stasis energy in my left hand and threw it at the ground. It exploded, forming a wall made purely of Dark ice. I threw a second shuriken, quickly destroying the Vex. It took me a moment of silence with Vex parts around me to realize that the frigid cold I felt much discomfort from before on Europa was suddenly gone. It made me stop dead when I also realized that it was that discomfort that reminded me that I hadn't let the Stasis take control. This power is becoming dangerous, I thought, I have to let it go before I lose myself-
A necessary burden..

Yes.. the burden only I can carry.. for them. For them, I must endure the cold..
I'll Pay Any Price To Keep Them Safe
The Vex sent a Hydra last, along with a group of Minotaurs. I decided to end this quickly. I channeled massive amounts of power into my hands, forming 2 Kamas of Stasis. I leaped high into the air, and threw the first at the Hydra. Upon contact, the Hydra instantly froze.
Silence
I threw the second at the group of Minotaurs. It exploded, unleashing an icy storm with the same freezing effect as the Hydra had fallen victim to.
Squall
I landed back on the ice under me, watching as the ice that trapped the Vex before me began to slowly crumble.
My right arm felt stiff for some reason. I looked down to see that a thin shell of ice had formed on my arm, likely from using that last move.
This is the power you desire...
The power you need…
I turned my back to the Vex as the Hydra watched, almost in fear. I raised my arm high, then threw it downwards with force, shattering the ice that had covered it; at the same time, the Vex group shattered, leaving nothing but shards. I left what was left with chilling words, that which felt like they weren't my own.
"Let the Darkness…
Consume You"

I'll be updating this more often than the other stories, mainly since this is just whatever pops into my head. Hope you liked this one.
