Sasuke had just eaten breakfast at the hotel with his team and was now packing up his bags to finally go home. He wasn't looking forward to the long bus ride but he hoped everyone would leave him alone so he could sleep through it.
He returned his room key and then loaded his bags into the luggage compartment, and went to the back of the bus as usual. Sasuke put in his headphones and texted Sakura, telling her that he was on his way home. He scrolled through their messages and the picture she had sent him last night caught his eye. "They're so adorable," Sasuke thought to himself, as he downloaded the picture and set it as his home screen.
But before he could turn off his phone, he felt the seat next to him dip down and heard an obnoxious "Hey who are they?" and he looked up to see none other than his annoying teammate Naruto Uzumaki.
"Be quiet idiot, it's none of your business" Sasuke scoffed, wanting to keep his girls to himself. "Aw come on man! Don't be like that, I got a wife and kid too, here look" Naruto said, while going to the camera roll on his phone. He showed Sasuke his wife Ino, who he had been married to for two years and their one year old son Itoshi.
"Do people know about them?" Sasuke asked curiously. "People know I'm married and have a child, but they don't know their names or anything like that." Naruto explained before saying, "Now show me your family, your secret will be safe with me" he said genuinely.
Sasuke ran his hand across his jaw while he thought over the blonde's words before saying, "I'll trust you with this, but you tell no one okay?" and Naruto easily agreed to his terms. So Sasuke showed him some pictures of Sakura and Sakiko that weren't too personal. As he listened to his teammates' reactions, he couldn't help the sense of pride that was growing in his chest as he showed them off.
"Wow man we should all hangout together sometime! I bet Sakura and Ino would get along great, and Itoshi would love to play with Sakiko." Naruto exclaimed, thinking it would work out great. "Hn, I'll have to run it by Sakura but we'll see" Sasuke said, hoping he'd made the right decision. "Alright loser, well I'll leave you alone for the rest of the trip. But I'm expecting an answer the next time I see you!" Naruto hollered, before heading up to his seat at the front of the bus.
Sasuke was able to sleep through the rest of the bus ride, and then he was finally pulling into the driveway of his home. As he walked in, he waved a hand to the guards parked on the street, letting them know they could leave. He entered his warm home, and called out for Sakura since she wasn't in the living room. He received no response for a few moments until she came out of the nursery and met his eyes. "Sasuke-kun! Welcome home" she beamed while walking up to him. Sasuke immediately clashed his lips with hers, "I'm back" he said in a deep voice.
His eyes then went to his pink haired baby girl, so Sakura gently placed her in his strong arms. He kissed her forehead as he held her close, relishing in the feeling of being able to hold her again. "Are you hungry or do you need anything Sasuke-kun?" Sakura asked her husband.
"Yes I need you both to come lay down with me" Sasuke retorted, while holding his hand out to her. Sakura just giggled and took her husband's hand, and guided them to their room and got in bed. Sakiko made herself comfortable on Sasuke's chest and dozed off, while Sakura nuzzled into his side.
The couple talked quietly for the next few hours, careful not to wake up their sleeping girl. "You know my teammate Naruto?" Sasuke mumbled, Sakura shook her head in response, letting her husband know to continue. "Well he showed me his wife and son, and so I ended up showing him you and Sakiko." Sasuke explained, still shocked at his own actions. "Really? That's not like you Sasuke-kun, but what did he say?" Sakura asked, intrigued by his words.
"He said we should all hangout together sometime, that you and his wife would probably get along well." Sasuke told her, recalling his previous conversation. "Let's do it then!" Sakura said excitedly, as she sat up in bed. "If that's what you want, then we'll do it" he said before continuing, "Wait where are you going?" Sasuke asked, seeing his wife get out of bed. "I'm going to start dinner, you stay here and catch up on some daddy-daughter time" she said with a smile, before heading into the kitchen.
Sasuke couldn't help but shake his head at his wife's silly antics, the littlest things made her so happy. "I hope you turnout just like your Mama" Sasuke murmured to his sleeping girl, as he ran his hand up and down her small back.
