Chapter 2
Ryoma , Ed , and Al arrived In Central. Ryoma got lost in a crowd and found himself in a park. He bumped into a kid his age. " Sorry about that " he said holding his hand out for the boy , he knocked over. Selim bradly looked at Ryoma and took his hand getting up. " Nice to meet you , ryoma my name is Selim Bradly " He said.
Ryoma nodded noticing Selim stare at the dimension slime. The Dimension slime opened a portal and a note came out. Selim picked up the note " Lulutia , here Ryoma be careful around Selim Bradly " he read. Ryoma noticed the quick change of facial expression on Selim. " What did , you read Selim " he asked. Selim rubbed the back of his " nothing Ryoma would you like to join me for a cup of tea " he said.
Ryoma nodded sure flowing Selim to a small cafe. Ryoma watched as Selim order to cups of tea. Ryoma took a breath and took a sip of his tea. Selim did the same " so Ryoma , where are you from " he asked. Ryoma thought to himself " I see , Selim is acting friendly and puting on an act " he said taking another sip of tea. Selim took another sip of his tea " Wait , does Ryoma see through my act " he thought. " Ryoma , we finally found you " Ed and Al said walking over. Ryoma took a breath " Sorry , Ed and Al I got lost in a crowd and Meet Selim here " He said taking a sip of his tea.
Selmin stood up and shook , Ed and Al's hands. " Nice to meet you both , I am Selim Bradly " he said. Edward and Alphonse each took a seat at the table. " I am Edward Elric , and this is my younger brother Alphonse Elric " He said. Selim looked at Al in his armor " I thought Al here would be the older brother because , he is taller , Tiny " he said to Edward. Ryoma chuckled noticing the fury in Ed's eyes. Ryoma finished his tea " By the way , Ed and Al why are we in central " he asked. Ed nodded " Oh , Me and Al came here to become state alchemist " He said as Ryoma order another cup of tea.
Selim smiled " interesting , there is something strange about the three " he thought. Ryoma smiled " Um , Edward and Al , why not go where you have to , I'll just hang out with Selim " he said. Edward and Al looked at Ryoma. " Sure , will meet , here after we are finished with the exams " he said. Ryoma nodded and waved bye as did Selim. Ryoma stretched his arms " So , mind if we head to a church for a minute " He asked looking at Selim. Selim gave a questioning look " I don't mind but why " he asked.
Ryoma pointed to the dimension slime and a pile of notes on the ground " that read , Church now " as the portal closed. Selim scratched his own face " Wait is this , Ryoma friends with gods or something " he thought. Ryoma took a sip of his second cup of tea. He looked at Selim and noticed , he was intensely thinking. " Selim , you all right " he asked. Selim took a sip of his tea , finishing the cup. " I am fine , Ryoma " he said paying the bill. Selim stood up " So , Ryoma i will show you to the church " He said. Ryoma nodded standing up and followed Selim to a church.
Ryoma entered the chruch and used the oracle ability. Kufo , Gain , and Lulutia all were starring Ryoma right in the face with looks of concern. Ryoma sighed " What is what the looks of concern " he asked. Kufo sighed " oh nothing its just Selim bradly is a homunculus and known as pride " he said. Ryoma took a breath " I see , I thought Selim was putting on an act " he said.
Lulutia hugged Ryoma " we are glad your safe , but just be careful " she said. Ryoma nodded and smiled " thanks for your concern , but if he shows me any trouble just watch , what happens after our time during this session is up " he said with a smile. Gain chuckled " all right , Ryoma " he said as the session ended. Ryoma noticed Selim , starring at his face. " What was that trance , state Ryoma " Selim asked. Ryoma took a breath and took Selim's hand. He noticed a park with a tree and kicked in the middle.
Selim gulped watching the tree break in half. Selim laughed " Got it , Ryoma don't ask or try and mess with me " he said. Ryoma nodded " now then Selim , please show me around Central " He said. Selim nodded with a scared smile. " note , Ryoma must never try and fight him " he said noticing a note come out of a portal the dimension slime opened. Ryoma picked it up and read it. " Oh , Selim its for you " he said. Selim took the note " Hi , Selim make sure to be good friends with Ryoma " he read. Ryoma placed his hand on Selim shoulder " don't worry , even if i know anything I won't say a word " He said.
Selim sighed " Understood , on one condition " he said. Ryoma smiled " sure , depending on what it is " he said. Selim nodded and rubbed the back of his head. " If you tell me , are you friends with gods " he asked. Ryoma nodded yes and held out his hand and whispered " i would not mind seeing the alchemy exams to become a state alchemist " He said. Selim smiled and shook , Ryoma's hand " sure , follow me and i will introduce you to my dad as well " He said. Ryoma nodded as Selim took his hand leading the way to the exam site.
