Sasuke had a home game on Friday night, so he spent most of the days before at practice with his team. And Sakura kept on her usual routine with Sakiko and was planning for another night of watching the game at home. But her plans would soon change, after texting with her new friend Ino.
Hey girl! How are you watching the game Friday night?
Hi Ino, I'm just watching it at home with Sakiko as usual.
Well how would you feel about coming to the arena and watching it in a VIP box with Itoshi and I?
Wow I'd love to! I just need to make sure it's okay with Sasuke-kun first.
I understand that, just let me know by Thursday at the latest.

Thursday morning, Sakura found herself making Sasuke's lunch to take to practice, while he sat at the kitchen table feeding Sakiko a bottle. "Sasuke-kun, can I ask you something?" Sakura said quietly. "Of course" Sasuke said right back, wondering what it could be.
"Well Ino said that her and Itoshi are going to be watching the game in a VIP box Friday night. So I was wondering if you would be okay with Sakiko and I going?" she asked in a hopeful tone. Sasuke sighed deeply at her request, because he really preferred them to stay at home for his games. Not because he didn't want them there, but he liked to know that they were safe at home while he was playing.
"It's fine with me, but I'll hire a few guards to take you to and from the game. And they will be standing outside the box while you two are inside." Sasuke told her, while laying Sakiko over his shoulder and burping her. "Thank you Sasuke-kun! I can't wait, Sakiko and I will wear our jerseys again" Sakura said happily, while kissing his cheek. "Hmm, I might have to show off some since you two will be there" Sasuke said with a smirk, before continuing, "Practice starts soon, so I should get going" with a sigh as he stood up.
"Alright you probably should, even though we'll miss you here" Sakura replied, while wrapping her arms around his waist. "Tch, I'll be home before you know it" Sasuke reassured her, as he wrapped his free arm around her and kissed her forehead. He then handed Sakiko over to Sakura, so he could grab his gym bag and lunch.
"Say bye-bye Daddy" Sakura spoke in her baby talk voice, while waving Sakiko's arm up and down. "I'll see you both this afternoon" Sasuke said deeply, and then kissed Sakiko on the cheek and Sakura on the lips before heading out the door.
After Sasuke left, Sakura changed Sakiko's diaper and then laid her down for a nap. She then got out her phone so she could tell Ino that Friday night was a go.
Hey Ino! Sasuke-kun said he's alright with Sakiko and I coming Friday night.
Yay! How much convincing did it take? lol
Not much honestly, but the guards he usually hires for when he has away games will be taking me to and from the game and standing outside the door of the box.
Oh wow, Mr. Over Protective strikes again! Haha
That's him, always watching out for us. But what time should we get there?
The game starts at 8, so at around 7:15 be at the back of the arena by entrance B. Itoshi and I will be there waiting and then we'll head up to the box.

Friday came, and Sasuke left the house at 2:00 and headed to the arena to begin prepping for the game. When it was around 6:00, Sakura got herself dressed in Sasuke's jersey in t-shirt form, with a pair of black leggings and white sneakers. She then dressed Sakiko in the same outfit, but added a white headband with a bow on the top and a black jacket to keep her warm. Sakura also made sure to feed Sakiko before they left so she would nap through the car ride and the first half.
The guards arrived at 6:45 and drove them to the arena, they arrived a bit early so Sakura had time to wrap a black wrap carrier around herself. She then got out and maneuvered Sakiko into the wrap, who immediately nuzzled her face into her chest and relaxed.
"Hey Sakura!" Ino called as she came out from inside the arena with Itoshi holding her hand. "Hey Ino, it's good to see you again" Sakura replied, while giving Ino the best hug she could with Sakiko in the middle. Sakura was then surprised by Itoshi hugging her leg and looking up at her expectantly. "Hey Itoshi, I know you want to play with Sakiko but she's sleeping right now. But once she's awake you can play together" Sakura promised him, while ruffling his blonde hair. This caused the boy to pout some, but he was ultimately content with her response as he ran back to Ino.
As they headed inside the arena, Ino and Sakura chatted the whole time, despite the guards behind them. "You should have seen Itoshi, whenever I told him you and Sakiko were coming, he started putting blocks in my purse." Ino said, barely able to contain her laughter. But Sakura could not contain her's and started laughing aloud, which caused Ino to join in as well.
But as the laughter died down, Ino looked down and saw Itoshi with a red face and his small lips slightly quivering. "Baby I'm sorry, we didn't mean to make you feel embarrassed, you're just so precious it makes us happy" Ino told Itoshi, while picking him up and peppering kisses all over his face. This caused Itoshi to start giggling, and quickly go back to his usual bubbly personality.
They arrived at the VIP box, which had drinks, food, a couch, various other seats, and a bucket of toys in the corner. "Naruto always keeps this box rented out for us and our parents when we come, so it's kind of customized to us at this point" Ino explained, while getting two bottles of water out for her and Sakura. "That's nice of him, do you use it often though?" Sakura asked, while looking around the box. "At least every other game that's here, but sometimes I prefer to stay at home and watch" Ino told her, as she sat down on the couch and made herself comfortable.
Sakura and Ino continued to talk and wait for the game to start, while watching both the teams warmup. But as they spoke, Sakura took a picture of Sakiko sleeping on her chest with the court in the background. She then sent it to Sasuke saying, "Someone is ready to watch Daddy play." with a smiling emoji at the end.
The game started and Sasuke came out on fire, he was hitting just about every shot he took and playing tough on defense. The team they were playing was no match, and the score was 63-34 at halftime.
Sakiko woke up during halftime, so Sakura changed her diaper and then fed her since she was starting to get fussy. Then Sakura sat her next to Itoshi with all the toys so they could play together like she had promised him.
The second half began and Sasuke's team continued to pull away and grow their already large lead. Sakura could sense the growing frustration from the other team, seeing how they were starting to argue with each other and commit hard fouls.
This all came to a head when Sasuke was going up for a layup, and was pushed onto the ground while he was still in the air. Sasuke landed on the ground hard, hitting the side of his head hard on the court. The crowd erupted and the player who committed the foul was tossed out of the game.
Sakura was up off the couch and leaning over the rail of the box, on the verge of tears after seeing what just happened. "He'll get up, he always does," Sakura tried to tell herself.
Sasuke did get up slowly, but as he went to take a step, he stumbled and was about to fall over. But Naruto was there to catch him, "Get over here, he's going unconscious!" Naruto yelled towards their bench. At his words the medical staff ran over and carried Sasuke back into the locker room.
Sakura couldn't control her tears after seeing her husband in that state. Ino came over and was hugging her tightly, telling her that he would be okay and that they have great doctors on hand. "I'll get you back there so you can see him after they help him" Ino told her, trying her best to reassure her scared friend.
