Night of Battle
Sometime before the attack
Honoka having finish with her training for the night plan on head to Dango shop before heading home for the night, she rather like eating them before going to bed after train, making a turn around a corner her stop when at almost running into someone.
"Ah, sorry I wasn't paying atten- Itachi-san!?" Honoka gasp at seeing the Anbu captain who turn to the girl, he was wearing the standers Anbu gear with his head on his forehead, his onyx eyes and jet black hair pull into a pony tail had Honoka blushing at the Uchiha, Itachi had stop to fix his weapons pouch which was falling off his hip and was surprise to see her out at this time of night.
"Honoka-san, I'm surprise to run into you out here tonight." Itachi said looking stern as always, Honoka blush at the Uchiha as she would admit to having a bit of a crush on him.
"Yes, normally I'd be in by now but I was training in Nature Transformation a bit later than I intended." Honoka replied running her hand through her hair tiredly.
"Turn out my second affinity is Earth, but it taking a good deal of work for me to even get the basics down." Honoka mumble not to happy with that.
"I see, learning a second element is not the most easiest to do." Itachi spoke and Honoka sigh.
"Yep, but I'm done for the night, so I'm just heading to the Dango shop to grab a late night snack before heading in... would you like, to... join me?" Honoka ask with a blush and looking away, upon hearing this Itachi raise an eye at the offer and ran it over in his head, while he was aware she had a liking for him, unlike many of his fan girls, Honoka didn't actively try to gain his attention nor did she go out of her way to make him her boyfriend if anything Honoka was one of the more reasonable ones that he could get along with... that she focus on her training was also a plus for him to.
"I... don't see why not, a small snack before turning in for the night might not be so bad." Itachi agree and Honoka smile before turning around and strike a 'V' for victory pose like not realizing she just did that in front of Itachi, said person sweat drop at the girl.
"Great! Let get go-" 'BABOOOM!' "-Ing... HUH!?" Honoka gasp as the building next to them exploded and suddenly a Triceratops appear! Itachi for all his stoic and stone face nature could not hide the surprise on his face at seeing this thing appear before them out of no where, the Triceratops seem to have spotted them and gave out a loud roar before charging at the two, Honoka froze in shock unable to think straight at the moment but Itachi snap out of his shock quickly and went through several hand seals.
"Katon: Karyū Endan no Jutsu!" Itachi yell sending out a flames, which look like a genuine dragon, the flames divided into three directions left side, right side, and a frontal assault all at once covering the Triceratops which howl in agony at the fire attack as Itachi pour on more power but then raise an eye brow when it burst out of the flame looking very piss off.
"It has quite the strong hide, eh." Itachi comment, 'FFFSSSZZZHHH!' until his eye's widen when a blue shocking light begin to emit from it mouth, (Impossible! Lighting!?) Itachi thought and just like that it blast at huge bolt of lighting at the two young Shiniobi!
At the Uzumaki Temple Cozanra and Malu were quick to take notice of the lighting even within the temple walls, (Shit, what going on out there, are they attacking the village too!?) Malu thought looking at the six before her and suppressing the urge to just rip them apart here and now.
"So," Cozanra began bringing their attention to him, "would I be correct in thinking that, that mess going on out there is just a front to keep anyone from noticing what going on here?" he ask causing them to pause at the man as he gave their surrounding a quick look around.
"That seems to be the case with this barrier and silencing seal around the compound." Cozanra pointed out and the leader chuckle at being caught he, and the others then threw off their cloaks reviving the first to be an elderly man with pale skin and long white hair tied in a spread ponytail behind his back. He had a small white mustache and goatee and a few visible wrinkles on his face, and black bags under his eyes. He wore a purple onmyōji–like outfit that has a clan symbol at the front and wore fade purple pants tucked inside bandages on his lower legs with Shinobi sandals.
"It been a while hasn't it Cozanra..." the old man looking at the male Uzumaki.
"Shirogane Ibushi eh, that somewhat explains why your here." Cozanra spoke causing Malu to look at him.
"Shirogane...? As in the Shirogane clan, the same one that you and Kushine wipe single handily? So that why you're attacking huh." Malu chuckle giving them a dark grin.
"So this is about petty revenge? Man you lot are throwing your lives away for nothing." Malu told them smirking and most of the invader glare at her for looking down on them.
"Not quite," Ibushi said causing her and Cozanra to turn to him, "a certain someone has an interested in the Uzumaki clan chakra and so he hire us to grab a few of the brats for him." he stated gaining a eep out of Sileen who along with Naruto had been quietly backing up to the temple doors. All humor left Malu and Cozanra and both glare darkly at them for even saying such a thing.
"Well that ain't gonna happen." Malu growl as she begin cracking her fingers, a giggle soon caught her attention when she look to the right and saw a girl with blond hair tied up into a ponytail behind her head. She also had blond-coloured eyes and tan bandages wrapped around her arms. She wore a purple onmyoji–like outfit that has the Shirogane clan symbol at the front that covers her thighs, a fishnet undershirt, and short pants with Shinobi sandals
"Personally I don't see what you're getting all bent out of sharp about, don't you guys have like a ton of kids right not? Surely losing a few won't be that big of a deal." she said grinning sinisterly at Naruto and Sileen who gulp.
"These guys are asking for a beating..." Malu growl in a low tone.
"It would seem so." Cozanra agree before turning to the kids.
"You two! Get in the temple and hide!" Cozanra order loudly, Naruto and Sileen quickly ran away with the girl about to jump after them but was block by Malu whose entire left arm had turn grey.
"Steel release!?" she gasp only to get a brutal kick to the face then Malu landed a series of powerful kicks all over the top half of her body before grabbing the girl by the neck who was barely wake by now.
"We told you already, you wouldn't lay a hand on them, are in that much of a hurry to die!" Malu roar as her hand take on a claw like sharp, right as she was about to finish her off a tall and muscular man with black braided hair in a ponytail who wore a purple onmyoji–like outfit punch at Malu but she caught it though the red head had been force to let her the other girl go.
"Nagare! Hurry after the kids, the sooner we get them, the sooner we can leave them place." the man known as Gandō shouted as a man with small black eyes and cheek length black hair wearing a weird hat on his head and beige-colored tunic turn to stone like dust and flow after the kids!
"You bastards!" Malu shouted throwing Gandō aside and about to go after Nagare but was stop by a man with long sky blue hair with his bangs going over the right side of his face down to his chest area. He also has big black-coloured eyes. He wears a white very thin headband covered by his hair. He wears a beige-colored vest-like shirt that goes down to his knees. The man jump in front of her with his sword held out halting Malu in her place.
"Thanks Hokushin, this shouldn't take long." Nagare yell heading inside after Naruto and Sileen, Malu and Conzanra glare at the remaining five as they prepare to battle.
"You sure it okay for him to go alone? We got some pretty strong clan members in there." Malu pointed out but it was more to buy time to calm herself down as she knew her short temper would only get in the way.
"Some how that doesn't worry me." Hokushin smirk as Malu notice the two from before were getting up behind, looking to the left she saw that Cozanra would be facing the last two meaning she had to fight these three alone. "Tch, what a drag..."
Back with the village, Asuma and Kurenai were corner by three Velociraptor's but were in the standers Konoha uniform now but Asuma had just made Jonin, both were unsure how to take down these reptiles as most attack didn't due much harm and while close combat seem like a good idea those claws and teeth made the pause.
"So any idea on how to kill these things?" Asuma ask Kurenai as he watch the reptiles circle around him and Kurenai who were back to back.
"None really, I'd like to try a genjutsu on them but I'm not sure it will even work on-" 'BABOOOM' "What the hell!?" Kurenai gasp as she and Asuma were shock to see three powerful fire ball blast their head's into bits of burnt meat!
"Yo, how it going down there!" a voice from above call out, looking up the two were surprise but also relief to find Kakashi waving at them and Yūgao holding her sword at the ready on a roof top, Kakashi was now in standers Jonin uniform while Yūgao had switch to Anbu after joining Team Ro, an élite Anbu unit of that serves directly under the Hokage.
"Kakashi, your on time for once!" Asuma spoke glad to see the guy, both him and Kurenai jump on the roof next to them.
"Sorry it take us so long to reach you guys but we had our hands full with a pack little reptiles that were attacking some civilians." Kakashi stated as he and Yugao stood up.
"We quickly finish them off before coming here but something is wrong with this situation." Yugao spoke up for the first time after putting her sword away.
"What you mean beside the fact we're being attack by things that should be long dead!?" Kurenai said in a dry tone causing Kakashi to sigh.
"What she mean is that while there is clearly a summer summing these dinosaurs, they're attacking patter is nothing but random chao... it almost as if..."
"As if it a distraction." Yugao finish freezing up Asuma and Kurenai at realizing she was right, but a distraction for what was the question, 'FFFSSSZZZHHH!' a blast of blue light nearby caught their attention.
"We'll have to figure this out later, come on!" Asuma order as they all rush off, back with Itachi and Honoka, Itachi's eye's widen in shock as the lighting blast just before reaching them, (She made seals... on her hand's!?) Itachi thought in shock as he watch Honoka held her right hand out, gripping her wrist with her left hand Honoka sable herself as she to keep from being push back as she was absorbing in all the power until it was gone.
"Impressive Honoka-san." Itachi spoke but then watch her arm drop to the side with arc's of electrical currents flowing out of it, (What heavy chakras!) Honoka thought nearly unable to move her arm as it now felt like lead, "GRRRRRRHHHHH!" snapping her head back to the dinosaur that was rushing at Honoka and Itachi both of whom jump out of then way of the ramming monster.
"Asshole, lets see how you like a taste off your own power! Seal release!" Honoka shouted sending the lighting blast she absorbed back down on the Triceratops back stopping it in place. Crying out in pain it suddenly stop when Itachi using his sword to stab it through eye.
"Be quite and sleep forever, on a boat sailing into the underworld." Itachi said lowly pulling out and letting the beast slam down on the ground with a thump, seeing Honoka land next to him Itachi pull out a cloth to remove the blood on his sword when Kakashi and his group touch down next them.
"Hmm, look like we didn't need to be in such a rush after all." Kakashi said lazy at seeing the dead dinosaur with Itachi and Honoka standing beside both look surprise to se the four of them.
"Senpai, what bring you here." Itachi said in what was meant to be a joking tone but it came out dry with no emotions.
"Not much but this work out for us fine... Honoka, I have need of your ability." Honoka and Itachi raise an eye brow at that.
Uzumaki Temple
Back at the Temple Naruto and Sileen had made a mad dash for the down the hall and were looking for anyone to gain some help from, "Man this is crazy, how did those guys even get in the village in the first place!?" Sileen cried running along with Naruto down the hallway.
"How would I know!? Anyway let just find Yuri-san or Ren-san and let them know what-" 'BAM' "OW! What the heck was that!?" Naruto shout falling on his butt after hitting something he could see, Sileen stop after he fell with wide eye's, holding her hand out she slowly walk forward until her hand came in contact with what seem like a invisible wall.
"Naruto-kun, please tell me there not a barrier on the inside of the temple too." Sileen spoke shaking a little, Naruto had been still on the ground grumbling about how much his nose hurt when what she said hit him, (Barrier!? On the inside!?) Naruto thought jumping to his feet and reach out in front of him only to come into contact with the barrier as well.
"We are so screw, what this thing even doing in here?" Naruto ask know one but got ended up getting an answer anyway.
"We made it as to keep the more troublesome members of your clan out-of-the-way, now why don't you come with me." Naruto and Sileen quickly turn around to see Nagare walking up to them, both step back and tense causing him to stop.
"You do realize we know full well that whatever you have plan for us will not be kind, right?" Sileen her eye's darting to the wall next to them and back to Nagare who notice this and wonder what she was up.
"So you have, but there is really nothing you kids can do to stop me so why not make this easier on yourselves and come quietly ." Nagare replied about to just knock them out, but raise an eye at Naruto's grin.
"Thanks for the offer but we'll pass, however before we go how about I enlighten you a bit!" Naruto smirk and Sileen knowing what was coming close her eye as Naruto clench his fist then open them dropping several small flash ball on the ground that pop open and shine a bright light blinding Nagare!
"AGHHHHH! WHY THAT LITTLE BRAT!" he howl closing his pain full eye and swore to give that kid a beating when he could see again.
"Hey, here boy, here boy!" opening his eye's a little at the sound of Sileen's voice, Nagare saw her sticking out of an opening in the wall and seem to be holding a paper ball.
"Fetch!" she cheese throwing the paper ball at him, Nagare scoffed and caught the ball with ease, "Good boy... bye, bye!" she wave with a Cheshire cat grin going into the opening in the wall and closing it. Nagare blink confuse about what just happen 'SIZZZZIS' until he heard that sound and look down only to realize that the paper ball he was holding was a clump of Explosive tags!
"Those damn brats!"
'BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!' Both Cozanra, Malu and the invaders pause their battle's at seeing a part of the temple burst into flames (Naruto-kun, Sileen-chan, please be okay and hold out for a little longer.) Cozanra thought more worry then before.
"Those two had better be okay or I'll skin that bastard live!" Malu scowl but unable to hide how worry she was completely from her face, on the inside of the temple Oogi and Kai had to stead themselves as the main hall shake from the blast of the explosion.
"That sounded really close, like inside the temple close!" Kai gasp as Oogi nodded thinking the same.
"Yes, the sound seem to have come from the front of them Temple which just happens to be the part where the barrier didn't reach." Oogi comment but then notice Kai was becoming more and more frantic by the second.
"Calm down Kai, first we must find a way to remove this barrier before we can focus on anything else." Kai turn to the old lady trying to calm down and nodded understanding there was little they could do until the barrier was gone. At another part temple Yuri and Ren had move all those who couldn't fight to the safety halls that were made encase the clan grounds were ever attack.
"That everyone, Tashi, for the time being I'll have to ask you to remain here and protect them until this matter is dealt with." Yuri stated having taken command at the moment, Tashi wanted to protest but understood that as the lowest ranking one there he had no real say, it was one of the things he hate about himself, even though he was on the council, even though he came before Yuri, Kai, and Malu, he was the only one that was still a chunin. Even Cozanra hadn't been a chunin long and with Honoka training to become a Tokubetsu Jonin and rumor having it his own son was being look at by the Anbu, Tashi felt very much like he wasn't living up to the Uzumaki name.
"That sound good, you got a plan then?" Ren ask as she rubbed her chin in thought.
"Well Kugumi, and Honoka were outside the temple at the time the barrier went up and Satomi went on a mission with Himeko. So that leave just Malu and Cozanra who were outside in the training grounds so hopefully they were the ones involve with explosion just now." Yuri spoke causing to blink at the lady wondering why she would hope for such a thing, Yuri seem to pick up on this and explain her thoughts.
"The reason it be better if it involve them is because that would mean it didn't involve one of the missing kids." they all had a chill run up their spine at just now remembering that Naruto, Sileen, Torra, and Toshiro were still missing.
"For now you and I will head to the main hall and link up with the Elder and try to find a way to take this barrier down." Yuri said to Ren who nodded when they heard something 'Clank, Clank, Clank' the banging was getting closer and closer causing Yuri, Tashi, and Ren to tense however when the door open Yuri's eye's fell and her shoulder's drop at seeing her husband dress in pots and pans while holding a chopping knife and one hand, and a giant wooden spoon in the other.
"Okay, I ready!" he cried loudly shaking like a leaf, everyone sweat drop at the site before them.
"Ready for what, to try for comedy play?" Ren ask jokingly and trying not to bust a gut at the goof ball of a man.
"NO! I'm going out there to fight the enemy and protect my family!" he declare loudly, his name was Uzumaki Ranke, a former fisher man who marry Yuri, Yuri at first only slept with him out of the wish to have a child but the man fell head over heels for her and kept pestering the lady who finally cave in and marry him since she found him cute but hated when he pull stuff like this.
"Dear, now is not the time for this." Yuri began but was cut off by her huddy.
"I know that why I going out to fight! You stay here where it safe and-OWOWOWOWOWOOWWWW!" Ranke suddenly started crying when Koi came out of nowhere and started pulling him by the ear to the rest of the non fighters much to Yuri's relief and Ren was trying very hard and failing to not laugh at the sight of them.
"You guys had better go." Koko said bringing their attention to her, she had brown eyes and was wearing a simple green kimono with had long black hair that came down to her butt.
"We'll keep that moron here, but please find our children Ren. I've just got this bad feeling so please hurry." Koko said and Ren lost all humor understanding that she was worry for Torra and Sileen.
"Don't worry you just stay safe, I'll bring them back no matter what." Ren said kissing her on the head, Yuri gave then a smile before she and Ren race off to the main hall.
Outside the Temple a few miles away Kugumi and Inuzuka Hana stood atop a building looking down at where the Uzumaki temple was at and notice the smoke coming from it with frowns on their face's.
"Well that can't be good, looks like their trouble at home." Kugumi mutter as Hana snarl not liking any of this, she and Kugumi had just been an on date for the first time since either them had time off from their training when this mess went down.
"You don't think all this chaos was cause just to keep us from noticing what going on at the Uzumaki place do you?" Hana ask when three other people landed behind them, all wearing the Uchiha clothing.
"That would seem to be the case." the lone female of then group spoke as Kugumi and Hana eyed them.
"Naori, Naka, and Rai Uchiha, eh." Kugumi mumble as the last one, Rai smirk, he was a young man with shoulder-length black hair, and dark coloured eyes. He wore the standard mantle of the Uchiha clan with its symbol emblazoned on the back.
"Our clans leader's wife is best friends with your clan leader ya know, it be a pain in the ass if anything happens to the Uzumaki's clan for us." Rei commented before Naori a girl with long wavy purple hair, and cropped bangs hung that over her forehead protector. She also wore the standard mantle of the Uchiha clan with their crest emblazoned on the back along with two swords strapped to her left hip by multiple bandages.
"It's best we look into what happening at the Uzumaki base while Kakashi-sempai handles things here." Naori stated, Kugumi and Hana look at one another and nodded then dash off with the three Uchiha's behind them. Mean while back at the temple Nagare cough out smoke unable to believe he got caught off guard like that by a pair of kids, it was embarrassing and if the others found out he'd never hear the end of it.
"Dammit..." he grumble looking out at the massive hole made by the blast, the only he didn't die was because he used his Rock Assimilation: Jutsu to make a rock barrier around him but was piss at knowing there was no way the people outside the didn't notice that blast and knew he was press for time even more.
"After I find those two I'll give them a good beating before taking me leave." he growl punching through what was left of then wall, had Nagare not been so anger he might had taken notice of Torra who was hiding around a corner with Toshiro, both had scary expressions on their faces at the moment at seeing someone live through an explosion like that.
In another place of then temple a part of the wall slid open letting Naruto peak his head out, seeing no one he came out letting Sileen came through next, both now had ninja tool pouches on their waist which they got from using one of the many secret hide ways in the temple.
"Ya know I always thought mom and the others were being paranoid building those places, show what I know." Naruto grin which Sileen return but had a nervous edge to it.
"Same here but on a lighter note, if that guy survived the blast then he gonna be steaming mad." Sileen commented and Naruto gulp know she was right, suddenly his left eye twitch and Naruto grabbed Sileen dashing out-of-the-way of rocks smashing through the wall, the two roll for a bit then hop to their feet as Nagare came through the hole.
"Nice reflexes kid." he call glaring at them as Naruto and Sileen shudder at knowing he was really mad at them looking a bit the two notice where they were at then look back to each other.
"I think the steps was left, left, left, right, left, right?" Sileen question and Naruto quickly thought it over.
"No it was only five step, right left, left, right, left!" Naruto told Sileen and she thank him before running off as turn the man tense as he was no longer just looking at them as kids, pulling out two kunai's, Naruto threw them at Nagare whose eyes widen.
"Oh come on, more Explosive tags!" he growl catching the kunai's the tags were attach to and throwing them out of the window leaving them to explode away from him, that when he saw Sileen hopping on one foot like she was playing hopscotch or something until she stop on a floor broad causing it to click and the wall next to open showing several barrows of arrow heads (You have got to be kidding me!) he thought in dismay jumping back as the arrows fire breaking through the window but heard another swoosh sound and saw the wall next to him open to show even more arrows, "What is this place a god damn house of horror!" he shouted jumping back again.
"Naruto-kun this way!" Sileen call to the blond who race after her while Nagare was busy trying to stay live, turning a corner the two ran down the hall way and out the down at the end.
"Come on, there a secret passage under the pavilion!" Sileen told him and Naruto would admit to having forgotten all about that one, "Enough!" Nagare shouted bursting through building wall complete red in the face from having so much trouble with kids, before either of them could react he appear right in front of Naruto and smash his fist into Naruto's face sending the whisker face boy flying a good ten feet across the ground.
"Naruto!" Sileen cried but was then grab by the neck by Nagare who lifted the girl in the air and began choking her, "You've had your fun now just sleep for a little while, the next time you wake up, you'll be in the hands of our buyer." he snarl as the girl's little hand try to make him let go but she was struggling to breath and was slowly losing consciousness.
"That just sleep, it will all be over soo-" 'BAM' Nagare was cut off when his world suddenly exploded in pain as someone punch in the face with the same force throwing a rock at high-speed! He was lost his grip on Sileen dropping her as he was sent flying across the field and into one of then stone bench's.
'cough' 'cough' 'cough' Sileen gasp for the air which had not been able to get anyone a moment ago before looking up and seeing Naruto in front of her hunch over standing in front of her (He save me!) she thought in tears glad Naruto was okay.
"Keep your hands off her or I'll beat you to a pulp!" Naruto growl but it came out darker than normal, almost animal like, Nagare for the first time in a long time was actually scary at the moment, looking at what should have been a helpless kid, the boy was now giving off a power chakra that almost seem evil and his once sky blue eyes were now blood-red with slits.
"GAH! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU! ROCK SHOWER!" he scream firing a barrage of rock at Naruto, Sileen eye's widen at seeing the attack, "STOP! DON'T HURT HIM ANYMORE!" she cried out loudly, shining light then over take her and out of no where chains flew from her back striking into the ground around her and Naruto!
"WHAT THE HELL!" Nagare shouted as his attack slam against a barrier protecting Sileen and Naruto, (Whoa did Sileen do this?) Naruto thought in amazement as he calm down some now and his eye's went back to normal, getting to his feet Nagare couldn't believe what he was seeing, the chains coming out of her back made a shield that block his attack, he never heard anything like this before.
"Oh, ho, ho! Looks like your little invasion prove useful after all, Sileen-chan awaken her chakra chains." a voice came from behind, him turning around Nagare had to look up at the six foot seven man towering over him, he was old that much Nagare could tell, he was bald with tan skin red greying eye brows. Nagare also take notice of the dragon sword in his left hand and sheath in the other.
"You have my thanks for helping her along the way but..." Otaku continue and Nagare didn't need to be a genius to know what was about to happen, "Please wait!" he cried but it was for nothing as his head feel to the ground with one sweep of Otaku's sword.
"You have out live your usefulness, now be on your way... to the underworld." Otaku spoke walking over the dead body without any care at all, Naruto drop to his knees glad to see the old man and feel like they were safe, Otaku stop in front of the barrier and tap it once.
"It okay now Sileen-chan, your safe. I won't let any harm come to you or Naruto-kun, so just calm down and let your barrier fade away." he said in a soothing tone Sileen nodded trying her best to relax but it wasn't ease with everything they had just been through, soon her chains went back into her body releasing the barrier and Sileen fell forward passing out but Naruto caught her.
"Hey Ojiisan, what happen to her? Is Sileen going to be okay?" Naruto ask worrying about he but Otaku just petted him on the head.
"She'll be fine, just tire from using her chains. I'll tell you more about them later but for now lets her rest for a bit, hmm." he said kindly causing Naruto to look relieve, however Otaku's eyes narrow as he began looking around, (Now where did that evil chakra go, it was too powerful for the booze I just kill and much to evil to come from either of these two little one, if only I'd been here a second sooner.) Otaku didn't like this at all, he had run into Torra and Toshiro on his way to the main hall and they told him about Nagare chasing after Naruto and Sileen, using a certain ability of his Otaku was able to get out of the barrier when he sense that vile chakra and rush over here only to find Sileen awaking her chakra chains and the dark chakra from before was gone.
(First things first, getting these two to safety. I can look into the matter about the chakra after things have settle down a bit.) he thought getting ready to take Naruto and Sileen back into the temple.
Outside the Uzumaki Temple
Kugumi and his group had touch down on a building next to the clan base and Kugumi was currently in a stands focusing on sensing out what was keeping this barrier up until his eyes snapped open.
"Well what did you find." Hana ask with her hands on her hips.
"There are five seal tag located on each of then outer walls about three four hundred meters apart, if we get rid of those that should bring the barrier down." Kugumi told them and Rai smirk.
"Mind's Eye of the Kagura, right. Even for the Uchiha and the Hyuugi clan, the range and detail of that technique are out of this world." Rai comment while Hana roll her eye's not in the mood for him to be kissing up to her boy friend.
"You can stroke him off later, for now let get rid of those damn barrier tags!" Hana snapped and they were off, else where the Kyofu clan summer was currently back into a corner by Kakashi, Yūgao, Asuma, Kurenai, Itachi and Honoka.
"Good job finding the summer Honoka." Asuma said with a lazy smile, Yohzan Kyofu scowl at realizing the girl was not only a sensory type but also show sighs that she was from the very clan they were attacking, it get bad if she figure that out.
"Yohzan!" a voice call and everyone tense when another cloak person landed right next to the summer they now knew was Yohzan.
"You were suppose to just hide in the shadows and keep summing not end up in this mess." he stated but Yohzan said nothing in return and for the mans part he knew that wasn't likely to last long in a village full of enemy Nin.
"Well this is fine, our time is almost up anyway." he smile putting the Konoha Nins on edge "Who are you?" Kakashi ask and the man just kept on smirking, back at the Temple Malu just finish crashing the wind pipe of Gandō and the girl name Menō who she nearly kill before was currently under her foot with both arms broken and was almost dead, (That chakra...) Malu wonder pulling her grey arm out of the gut of Hokushin who cough up blood and was trying to stop the bleeding even though he knew it was already to late for him.
"Even though it was only for a moment that was certainly the nine tails chakra." she whisper, (Has something happen to the seal or was he in such great dangerous that it reacted to protect him.) Malu was even more worry then before, looking to the side Malu saw that Cozanra had just beheaded the man whose name if she remember right was Hoki and had Ibushi on the ground holding his arm that was bleeding out.
"Cozanra, I'm going after the kids, I'll leave you to finish up here." she stand and was about to walk away when Hokushin grab her leg, looking down she glare at the man who was at death's door.
"You bitch... I thought you... were using... steel release..." he gasp out coughing up blood.
"But that... not it. There... something foreign... in... your left... arm. What is... it?" at the end of his words his eyes close and he pass away, Malu look down at the man with a dry smile (So he notice eh, not bad for a mere missing-nin.) Malu thought then shot off into the sky, landing on the other side of the building, Malu was surprise to see Otaku there carrying Sileen with Naruto by his side, "Obasan!" Naruto cried running up to her and hugging her leg baling his eyes out glad that she was okay, Malu smile and petted the boy on the head.
"Otaku-dono, what happen here is Sileen alright?" she ask noticing the dead Missing-nin on the ground with his head cut off, seeing the sheath sword at Otaku's waist she didn't need to guess what happen and was only concern with the kids.
"Everything fine now, Sileen just tire but it seem this little attack has benefits our clan after all." he smile, Malu raise an eye brow wondering what he meant, when suddenly the barrier over the temple dispel shocking them.
"Look like someone take out the barrier from the outside." Otaku stated, he and Malu could sense Kugumi's chakra's along with several others.
"Kugumi huh, that ego if his is gonna get even bigger when this is over, for now Malu, you mind doing something about the one on the Temple?" Otaku said and she nodded.
"Okay but I'll be keeping Naruto-kun with me for a bit... I might do him some good to watch me take it down." she reason to the old man, truth be told she already knew where the Seal tag was most likely at but really wanted to check out Naruto.
"Very well but be on the look, moments before hand I sense a very evil chakra that suddenly vanish." It was only thanks to Malu's years on the battle field that she didn't tense up and simply.
"From where Cozanra and I were at we sense it too... do you have any idea where it might have went?" Malu ask carefully but Otaku gave her a no saying he only sense seconds before getting there, giving the old man her thanks he head back into the temple, (So he doesn't know it came from Naruto eh? Good I can work with this.) Malu thought told, after making sure he was gone she knee down next to Naruto.
"Naruto-kun, how are you feeling?" Malu ask the young boy.
"Fine, we kept running like you told us then got corner and that big guy hit me really hard and hurt but then he started choking Sileen and then I punch him, then Sileen made these cool chains come out of her back that protected us, then old man showed up and cut his head off and-" Malu did her best to keep up with his mile a minute sentence, (Wait did he say something about Sileen using chains...? like chakra chains?) Malu thought, wondering if that part was true but it seem to far fetch.
"That enough Naruto-kun, for now you can tell me the rest later okay but please close your eye for a moment." Malu said doing her best to sound motherly as she was speaking to a child, Naruto nodded and close the, pulling his shirt up Malu sent a small bit a chakra into his torso after activating the seal.
"There seem to be nothing wrong with it... so it was just a reaction to the dangerous situation he and Sileen was in?" Malu whisper hoping this was the case but would have to ask Kushina more when she got back. Standing up Malu told Naruto it was okay to open his eyes now.
"Thank for doing as I ask Naruto, now come with me. I'll teach you how to take down barriers." she said holding her hand out, Naruto grinned happy to take it. Back with Cozanra knee down next to the dying Shirogane Ibushi.
"With this, the Shirogane clan is finish... at the very least I will remain but your side until the end." Cozanra said to his old foe, Ibushi gave a small laugh at the young man.
"That just like you, showing respect even to the dying... I always hated that about you." Ibushi spoke, year ago and his kin tried to resurrect the clan's ultimate weapon, the Master Puppet, a living and sentient weapon with the power to destroy the Five Great Shinobi Countries. However the moment it was brought back to life Uzumaki Kushina completely destroyed it. Leading to Ibushi concealing a great deal of hate for the woman and her kin, specific Cozanra who while holding him and his two comrades off still fail to kill them.
"Tell me Cozanra, why did you... join Konoha... you don't seem the... type." Conzanra notice his eye's had dull and who words were slowing down, Ibushi would soon be dead, looking off to the side Cozanra saw that three of the two who had fought Malu were already dead and the last one seem close as well. Turning back to Ibushi decide to answer the old mans finale question.
"For my family, the idea joining another village was not to my liking but since the currently clan head was the wife of the fallen Yondaime and as such has a lot of pull here and the village... I suck up my pride and came."
"No matter how much it hurt your pride, if that all that being damage then one should just take his hits and be done with it... at least for the clan and his family." Ibushi chuckle a little at the reply it sounded just like him.
"That nice... I wish I had... such luck... with my own clan but... oh well... end of the line." Ibushi said slowly as his eye's lower bit by bit until the shut never to open again, looking at this fallen enemy Cozanra pull out a single ryo coin and place in Ibushi's hand. "May the river Styx's take you peacefully into the next life."
