Chapter 5 Tentacles Family Backstory
Squidward and Squilliam looked at each other. "Oh, Co-worker, you can come on out, now" the mysterious voice called out. The light turned on in the middle of the room. Someone walked into the light. It was an Octopus with glasses on. He's also wearing a light brown t-shirt and a red tie. "Hello, Squidward Q." the older octopus greeted. Squidward was confused. "Uh… hello? Do I know you" Squidward asked. "Of course you do, Squidward Q" the older squid told him. Squidward was still lost. He had know idea who this older squid was. The mysterious voice spoke.
"Tentacles, I would like you to meet Jeff Tentacles… your father". Squidward was shocked. He hadn't seen his father in years, it was mostly just him and his mother. But, he did know that his father loved him very much. "The only thing I remember about you is that you loved me very much" Squidward said. Jeff Tentacles chuckled.
"Of course that's the only thing you remember, you were only 3. It became harder and harder to stay with you and your mother because of my job. Then, it came to a point where I just had to leave you two. So, I left pretty much right after Christmas. I had to stay in the shadows, Squidward. I'm sorry" Jeff explained. "So, how come you're here, now" Squidward wondered. "That way he can make you get me exactly what I want because he has authority over you" the mysterious voice answered with an evil laugh.
"But, I am an adult. I have complete authority over my self" Squidward said. "Not when he's with me you don't" The mysterious voice told him. "Then how come I'm here" Squilliam questioned. "You'll find that out soon, Fancyson" the mysterious voice told him. "Alright, first session is over. Back up to your room with ya". Squidward and Squilliam stood up. The two young squids walked out of the room. Jeff turned to the mysterious voice.
"I bet you're really proud of yourself aren't you" Jeff said. The mysterious voice chuckled.
"Yes. We will tell your son about what I want tomorrow and you will order him to give it to me or else" the mysterious voice continued to laugh. "You better not hurt my son" Jeff told him. Jeff walked away. After the session, Jeff, Elliot and Jason decided to hang out. "So, you have a good kid there, Jeff" Jason began. Jeff sighed. "Thanks. But it's all my fault". "What do you mean, Jeff?" Elliot wondered. Jeff sighed again.
"It's all my fault that my son is miserable. If I stayed with him and my wife, he wouldn't be so miserable as he is now". "Don't be to hard on yourself, Jeff" Elliot told him. "Yeah, kids get their personality from their parents all the time. So, your little tyke probably got his personality from you since you say you were so grumpy all the time" Jason explained. "How's that supposed to help?" Elliot wondered.
"No, no. Jason is right. Squidward saw me so grumpy when I was home, so he probably thought that was the right way to act. Then, I walked away from my family and that probably made him even more miserable. I was so grumpy all the time because of my job". Jason and Elliot looked at each other.
Authors Note: I do not own Jeff Tentacles. Look him up online and you'll find him. I did make up the backstory for him and Squidward though. But, I did read that Jeff has a similar personality to his son. So, I decided to write the reason why. Next Chapter!
