Chapter 10 Squidward's Moment
Later that day, woke up. It was 8:20 in the morning and the sun was shining through the Krusty Krab. yawned and turned around to wake everyone up. "Alright, everyone. Wake up. It's time to get to work" called out. Everyone slowly started to wake up, still tired from the long night. Squidward stood up and yawned. He walked up to and said, "You do realize I'll be sleeping at the cash register like I usually do". "Of course, . I'm looking forward to it. So, everything can be back to normal" said. Spongebob walked into the kitchen, so he could start cooking Krabby Patties. He was happy that things were starting to come back to normal too. Squilliam walked up to Squidward.
"Well, Squiddy. Before I go. I just wanted to say thank you. I would of been a wreck without you and if something bad happened to you if you decided not to come with me, then… I don't know what I would do. So, thanks again" Squilliam thanked as he shook Squidward's hand.
"Sure thing. You just looked so distressed that I decided it was real, so that's when I went along with it" Squidward explained. "We're still gonna be rivals, right" Squidward wondered.
"Of course" Squilliam said, with a smile. Spongebob came out with a plate full of Krabby Patties.
"Hey, Squilliam. Want a Krabby Patty before you go?" Spongebob asked.
"How can I say no to that? After what Squiddy just did for me" Squilliam took a Patty and started to eat it. "Thanks Spongebob" Squilliam thanked.
"No problem" Spongebob said and walked away. "Krabby Patties. Get Your Krabby Patties, right here" . "Well, see you around, Squidward" Squilliam said and left the restaurant. Squidward sighed, happily.
"Well, everything's back to normal". Squidward went to his cash register, so he could get back to his normal life. As the day went on, and more customers started to come in, other people who stayed over night left. Soon, it was just , Squidward, Patrick and Spongebob there again. The news came on the tv.
"Hello, good after noon, people of Bikini Bottom. Perch Perkins here happy to tell you that Squilliam Fancyson is back, safe and sound" Perch Perkins said as he walked up to Squilliam Fancyson.
"So, . Your fans were quite worried about you during your disappearance. Tell me, what happened and how did you manage to come back safe and sound?" Perch Perkins questioned.
"Well, Perch. It's all thanks to my high school rival, Squidward Q. Tentacles from band class. He helped me get through this and helped us get free. We were interrogated just so Plankton can get the Krabby Patty secret formula from . and I escaped last night and someone from family called the cops on Plankton because Plankton told that he would destroy him and the Krusty Krab if he didn't get the secret formula from him. Here we are now, safe and sound. So, if you wanna thank anybody, thank Squidward Tentacles" Squilliam explained.
"Wow! That was quite a story, wasn't it folks. You heard Squilliam Fancyson, if you wanna thank anybody for saving him, you should thank Tentacles" Perch perkins finished.
Squidward smiled an excited smile.
"Wow, Squidward. Your famous now for helping Squilliam" Spongebob told him.
"Yeah, I wonder how famous you'll be" Patrick wondered.
"Hopefully really famous, Patrick. Hopefully really famous" Squidward hoped.
Squidward was right, people from all over Bikini Bottom came to order Krabby Patties just to see Squidward. A few people even got to take pictures with Squidward. made a lot of money that day and that made him really happy. The end of the day came, so Spongebob and Squidward could go home.
"Best day at work, ever" Squidward sighed a happy sigh. "Yeah, I'll say" agreed. "You should get famous more often, so I could make extra cash" laughed and walked away. When Squidward made it home, he saw a package in front of his door.
"Huh, what's this?" Squidward wondered as he picked up the package. Their was a letter attached to it. Squidward opened the letter and read it. It said…
Dear Young Tentacles
Thank you for all your help. You helped me escape Plankton and my stressful life. If it wasn't for you and Squilliam I would of been still stressed that I would finally crack. So, stay good. I gave you a little present to give you my thanks

Squidward went inside and opened his package. Their was a stack of money in the package. Squidward smiled. For the first time in his normal life. He was finally happy.
