Fall of Namek Saga Chapter 6: Save New Namek
Age 789
Location: New Namek
The Namekians were a peaceful race with a thriving culture and history. Years ago that peace was disturbed and destroyed at the hands of an evil tyrant. Heroes from Earth stood to defend them and with the help of their earthling friends they made a new home and for many years they have lived in peace…a peace which is about to end.
A village of Namekians went about their normal routine when their sun slowly began to be eclipsed catching their attention.
"Oh my what is that?" the village elder called out
Location: EARTH
Trunks used instant transmission to bring them all to the hanger.
"Wow that was an interesting feeling" Bulma said standing still to get her composure
Mai just smiled as they all turned around and saw the plane coming in for a landing, they all went outside and waited. After landing, Master Roshi stepped out with several lumps on his head as he walked with his companion, a woman Trunks had never met.
"Good morning Master Roshi and who is this?"
The middle aged woman bowed and extended her hand to Trunks "My name is Yurin, Master of the Crane school it is a pleasure to meet the hero who killed the Androids"
"It is nice to meet you as well..." Trunks looked around "...hey where are the new recruits?"
Roshi and Yurin smiled as she spoke "They wanted to make an entrance please look up"
Just as this was said, both Trunks and Mai sensed 3 ki signatures heading towards them. They look up to see Videl, Note and Beat flying towards them.
"Wow they're flying now that's awesome" Mai shouted out excited
Trunks smiled "Outstanding..." he turned to Roshi "...you were able to toughen them up and unlock their ki in a year?"
Roshi rubbed his beard "They already showed excellent fighting prowess and I also had some help" he stated pointing at Yurin
"We combined our efforts and schools to increase their training. Master Roshi handled teaching them the Kame Style focusing on martial arts building up speed, strength and durability, while I handled training them in the Tsuru Style focusing on unlocking their ki teaching them the sky dancing technique along with minor ki techniques." Yurin smiled as her pupils came in for a landing she finished "We even had them climb Korin's Tower, working on a strict training schedule they had soon unlocked their ki in under 8 months, leaving 4 months to train them up fully"
(In canon Videl was able to learn how to fly in a matter of days so I figured a years of rigorous training in both styles would make them around saiyan saga human level)
"Impressive" Mai said as she smiled
The human trio landed in front of the group. "Welcome back Trunks you both look well" Videl said with a smile
"Thanks Videl I see training went well I'm excited to test out your abilities"
Beat smirked and powered up "Then let's go right now I'm ready to show you what I got Trunks"
Trunks smiled softly waving his hands "Whoa hold your horses kiddo we'll spar very soon but first we've got some business to attend to"
Beat began sulking while everyone else laughed and Note just shook her head "Geez Beat take it easy they just got back"
"Come on guys let's load up on the plane it's time to show you our new home" Trunks ordered
Mai pauses for a moment "Oh Trunks wait I wanna bring mom gimme a min" she watched as he nodded the group watched as she disappeared, all the humans except Bulma were shocked at this.
"What just happened?" Beat asked
"Oh she just used instant transmission, one of the techniques we learned while we were away." Trunks smiled both Note and Beat had stars in their eyes while Videl just smirked "Don't worry I'll teach it and more to you soon"
Before they could respond in excitement Mai reappeared with both Chi-chi, Pan and the Ox King. Now ready the large group boards an equally large airship to head to something called Dragon Island. 30 minutes later as they approached the group saw the large island out of their windows. It was a huge island with a high standing mountain; it was big enough that it held several cities on it. There was a large golden structure sitting directly in a perfect fit in the mountain, the Capsule Corp logo on the side of it. Everyone was in awe even Mai who knew about the island but had yet to see it. All new Dragon Team minus 16 all wore black and white tracksuits with the CC logo on the upper left of the jacket.
Beat looked out the window "Wow Ms. Briefs you really go all out don't you?"
"Yea that place looks massive" Note added on
Bulma smiled with a somewhat proud yet sad look on her face "Thank you both but I actually didn't build it. This island is home to Mei Queen Castle…I took it over turning it into Dragon Island"
"What!" most of them exclaimed in surprise
"No no it's not like that let me explain…" Bulma added quickly "…the castle used to belong to a man named Jaguar"
This name instantly struck Videl "Jaguar I know him he was a…'rival' of my father, what happened to him" she said as Pan looked out the window at the very very big island in her words
A sad look fell on Bulma's face "He was killed along with most of his staff and most of the inhabitants of this island by the Androids…" Everyone was silent for a moment remembering the dark times and all those killed by the two monsters allowing Bulma to finish her story "…while searching for other survivors me and Trunks happened upon this place and searched it turns out the inside of the large golden dome of the castle were training grounds and inside most of the mountain was a large lab."
"What could they have been doing down there?" Chi-Chi asked
Trunks sighed "They were trying to create Bio-Warriors…" he pulled up a video file on a holoscreen he found in the database when he searched it "…at first they were meant to humiliate your father Videl via the records we found but were then repurposed to fight the Androids as you can tell that didn't pan out to well" as he said this video footage of the androids wiping the floor the warriors
"Yes, we've now taken over the island as it is now part of Capsule Corp the survivors we did find all relocated to UCC leaving the island bare, now its hosts some of the hundreds of scientist and engineers working around the clock to help repair the world, if you turn and look to the left you can see some of their houses closer to the beach outside of New West City on the west side of the island." Bulma added on as she guided the airship closer to the landing platform in front of the main building
"Mother has turned their bio lab into multiple labs the actual count being 50 different labs in all working to not only to help repair the world but further its technology and protection for the future" Trunks finished
"Wow you have been busy Bulma so this is what you've been doing for the last 4 years and still had time to come visit us" Roshi said in a very impressed tone
Bulma smiled "Of course you always make time for your friends, even ones as pervy as you old man"
Everyone laughed at that as they finally made their way to the entrance of the training facility. As they landed and exited they were greeted by 3 interesting people. Bulma smiled as she exited the ship "Guys I'd like to introduce you to Professor Chow, my head researcher and Dr. Collie and his daughter Nain, two of the only survivors that worked on the Bio Warrior project."
"It's very nice to meet you all. Please follow us after breakfast, we will give you a full tour of your new home" Dr. Collie insisted
Location: New Namek
While the new team took a tour of their new home on Namek the Namekians enjoy a peaceful day harvesting their crops and simply enjoying life until they notice something weird happening to their sun.
"What is it" one Namekian asked looking up from his crops
"A solar eclipse but it's not time for one" Cargo replied
Moori the Grand Elder looked to the sky 'I sense something amiss'
As he thought this one of his sons came in to tell him of the strange phenomena happening.
"Father something is wrong" a familiar Namekian cried out
"Yes Dende I have sensed it quickly you must call for help I fear our home is once again in danger" Moori commanded
Dende already knew who he would call "Yes right away father"
In space the giant sphere obstructing the sun began to move as liquid metal exterior molds itself around New Namek its giant tendrils slammed down on the planet causing massive tremors that seemed to split the planet in half.
Back on Earth
After reaching a large dining room and eating a large breakfast spread everyone followed along on a tour of the island. The Dragon Team was in awe of the grandeur of the large castle. From the landing platform in front of the castle the entrance leads to a courtyard with a ring where the team can train complete with exercise equipment, weights and much more. Inside the castle, the ground level and mid-level area is where the living quarters were; there were over 200 rooms broken up between the two floors that wouldn't be used until Phase 2 was ready. The elevator leads to an upper level where the Battle Arena is located, across the hall from it stood several Gravity Chambers complete with upgraded Gravity Machines. So far they hadn't made it to the labs beneath the training ground yet on their tour and it had already been an hour.
As they walked down the hall while Dr. Collie explained some of the history of the castle, Trunks leaned over to whisper to Mai "So what do you think so far?"
"It's amazing what your mother has done to this place" Mai replied
Trunks smiled "Yea she…" he began until he was interrupted
"TRUNKS!"
Everyone stopped in their tracks as they all heard the loud outburst from seemingly out of nowhere. "Umm please tell me I not the only one who heard that" Beat said really weirded out
Mai quickly turned to the young warrior "Shhh" she said in as nice a tone as she could get, holding a finger to her mouth
"Go ahead King Kai what is it" Trunks responded knowing who's voice it was
"Trunks you are needed New Namek is in grave danger" King Kai replied using his antae to speak to them
"Oh no Dende…" Bulma responded
"Yes Bulma that's who asked me to call you for help a terrible evil is as we speak draining the planet of its energy if not stopped the planet and its people will be destroyed" the Kai of the North Quadrant spoke in a worried but dignified tone
"I have an idea of where New Namek is, very well we are on the way King Kai" Trunks replied, turning to his mother "Mother do you have a ship ready?"
"Of course son I have just the thing" Bulma said already heading towards the hangar hailing the others to come with her
Once they took an elevator up to the top floor of the dome it revealed a large hanger with an equally large ship that looked very familiar to Trunks. "Mom is that…"
"Yes dear Freeza's old ship the one he used to travel to earth with his father or I guess it was his father's ship, I've been using the technology to advance our own technology even further" she replied then turned to a couple of guards she had on staff for the ship "Please open the hangar door and prepare for departure"
"Yes mam" the replied one pushing a button on the console
"Mom how did you…do we even know how to fly this thing it's not really a capsule" Trunks asked
"Your father kinda taught me how the tech worked and I figured the rest out on my own it so I'm best qualified to drive right now" she smiled
Trunks frowned at this "No you are not coming with us…"
"Yes I am son, who else can fly the ship its fast and it will get us to New Namek in under an hour" she argued not even caring about the audience
"Fine, please prepare the ship" Trunks relented knowing she was right
Bulma nodded as she went under the ship where a platform was waiting for her to stand on it so she could enter. Once on board the platform came back down
"Oh I almost forgot hey I'll be right back guys" Trunks said using instant transmission
Mai had a feeling she knew where was going and then turned to marvel at the size of the ship as did everyone else.
"What about us?" asked Note
"Yea we wanna help too!" Beat added
Trunks reappeared next to them startling everyone. He had a bag in his hand "Alright got some senzu beans just in case and I found my notes of where New Namek is!"
"Trunks are we allowed to go with you?" Videl asked as she stood next to her young teammates
Trunks thought for a moment thinking it would be good experience and they didn't know what they would be running into he smiled "Yes you all can come one on condition you will heed every order I give, understood"
"Yes sir" they all replied
"If you don't mind i'd like to join you, I can help keep an eye on them for you" Yurin asked
"Very well load up everyone" Trunks replied
They all nodded and quickly went to enter the ship as 16 walked up to Trunks. "Are you sure about this?" the android asked
"I have faith in them and I kinda have a pre battle plan, Mai and I will handle the main threat while you help lead them with the evacuation"
"Very well" 16 nodded and all three of floated towards the ship
"Mai this is your first battle are you sure you're up to this?" Trunks asked kinda worried about her as they floated over to the ship
"I am actually a little excited" she says floating next to him
Trunks smiled as they landed on the boarding platform "I expected nothing less"
The hanger door wide open, the group left behind watched as the ship prepared to take off. The hanger is located in the top half of the large golden dome, a small hatch under the pointy spear opens up letting the ship fly out. The platform began to rise up "All of you please be careful" Chi-chi called out to her daughter
Mai smiled giving a big thumbs up "We will mother!"
Chi Chi smiled as she and everyone else watched the platform closed and moments later the large ship headed up into outer space.
On the Ship
Once in space traveling at high speeds Bulma put the coordinates that Trunks gave her into the navigator "Where did you get these son?"
"Before the Cell Games started I watched Goku travel to New Namek and bring Dende back to become the Earth's new Kami. I remembered this during my training with Goku and King Kai and asked him to give me the coordinates." Trunks chuckled "I actually got a lot of useful information during this time and I had planned a trip to New Namek once we got back...but not like this" his mood soured
Bulma placed a hand on her son's shoulder "Things will be alright I have faith in all of you"
Everyone soon was strapped in when Bulma engaged the hyperdrive this is what she meant by getting them there in under an hour. "Alright you are now free to move about the cabin" she chuckled as they traveled in hyperspace
Trunks joined her to learn how to work the controls. Mai, Videl, Note and Beat were in complete awe. "We're in space...I can't believe it" Beat said looking out as they moved forward through hyperspace
"Technically this is hyperspace we traveling so fast from one point in space to the next" Bulma called out
The explanation put stars in the young fighters eyes. Mai looked over at Trunks.
"Trunks how are you not freaking out we're in space" she blurted out
He chuckled placing a hand on his chin "Uh I guess I hadn't really thought about it since I was preparing for whatever trouble we run into"
Mai slightly growled "Stop being so boring for once"
Everyone laughed for a moment before Yurin brought up an idea. "Is there somewhere on this ship where my students can show you how much they've grown?"
"That's a great idea here, follow me" Bulma stated as she ushered them through the halls of the ship until she reached the Gravity Chamber.
"Mom you put a gravity chamber in here awesome" Trunks smiled
"What's a gravity chamber?" Videl asked
"Ooh let me explain it Trunks" Mai said with excitement
Trunks nodded and let her explain and soon they entered. Bulma let them know they only had about 40 minutes until they reached New Namek, before her and 16 went back to the cockpit. "I believe in strength in numbers, in the battles I saw from the past they would fight battles one on one. While this is the honorable way and I get it, I want us to focus on working as team be it as a duo or a group so I want the four of you and come at the two of us with all you because we'll do the same"
"Wait do you mean I finally get to see that form you used to kill the Androids" Beat said in an excited tone
Trunks smirked and quickly flashed into SSj grade 1, the human stepped back slightly they just started learning to sense ki and they could feel the overwhelming power flowing from their leader. Mai smiled as she crossed her arms in front of herself and did the same.
"They're so strong" Note said slightly stepping back until she felt a hand on her shoulder
"Hey we've got this...I'll follow your lead" Beat whispered
Trunks set the settings to 10 times Earth's gravity and at first they struggled but after focusing their ki they were able to move and fly getting faster as the training went on. With this the humans raised their battle power and while not as big as the saiyans but they were considerable for those who've only trained for 1 year. Note looked at Beat and nodded, while Videl did the same to Yurin and soon all four took off. The two young recruits flew off towards Trunks, while the middle aged women headed towards Mai. Soon it had gotten close to an hour since they left and they were preparing to come out of hyperspace. Having finished their 35 minute training session Trunks gave them all senzu beans explaining how they worked, then they traveled across the hall to the locker room so they could change.
As they entered Trunks spoke "Seriously guys I'm impressed if I had to gauge your power id say...Yurin is the strongest due to her experience, followed by Videl with Beat and Note at about the same level."
"Wow really that's awesome" both the young warrior blurted out as the older women smiled
Bulma hadn't prepared to have female members as the locker room was one big room so they all simply faced away from each other. Mai turned her head slightly as she watched Trunks pull the shirt to his new saiyan armor over his head giving the saiyan hybrid a marvelous glimpse of her friend's toned backside. She turned back quickly as he started to look up, her face burning with a blush that was not unnoticed by the human women.
Once changed they all headed back to the cockpit. Trunks was truly impressed and while he held back, he knew that a weaker fighter training with a stronger one could help them increase their own power. He'll go all out and train them properly when they get back home. Bulma saw everyone enter wearing the armor she made for Vegeta all those years ago she started mentally making plans for updated armor "Well I'm glad to see the armor fits, you all look good"
While in the cockpit Videl chatted with Yurin, Beat was talking adamantly to 16 while Note learned some of the controls from Bulma. This let Mai walk into the hallway, she soon felt Trunks walk up to her "Mai are you ok?"
"I'm ok, still excited, but also a little nervous...but I will not run away from a fight! I told you i'd stand by your side"
Trunks smiled "Yeah you did and I trust you to stand by your word...but please promise me something"
"Sure" she replied wondering what he'd ask
"Promise me that if it gets bad out there…you'll hightail it outta there and get everyone back to the ship protecting them" he saw her slam her fist against the wall leaving a dent as an answer
"I refuse…" she said walking up to him "…I won't leave you out there alone, I don't care if you are stronger than me I'll do everything in my power to help you I told you that!"
"Mai please..." Trunks began
"No Trunks I care about you, and I won't leave you out there alone! What if you get hurt and I could have done something to stop it…" she cried out as now they drew closer to each other her voice softened "…you were my first friend, you've been there helping me since this whole crazy adventure started I...I don't wanna lose you"
Trunks pulled her into an embrace "Mai...I'm sorry just at least promise me you'll be careful because I...care about you too"
"I promise" she replied regaining her composure grabbing his hand "Do you promise too?" she asked staring into his blue eyes
"I promise..." he promised the two not really caring about how close they were staring into her onyx eyes the two unconsciously leaning closer and closer until they both realized what they were about to do and quickly separated both smiling and blushing
"I think we should head back..." Trunks said rubbing the back of his head
Mai smiled "Um...yeah we're probably almost there..."
Soon they rejoined everyone else in the cockpit to see what Bulma was talking about and found something very strange. They'd come out of hyperspace and found new Namek and it looked like something was trying to eat it.
"What the hell is that?" both Mai and Beat asked
"Trouble with a capital T mom take the ship down now" Trunks ordered getting himself mentally prepared for what was about to happen
"On it #16 take us down" she replied as the Android nodded she grabbed a small case and gathered everyone around "When the saiyans came to earth all those years ago they wore these devices called Scouters."
She opened the case to reveal 6 new type scouters. This variant is a double eye version of the original scouter that had grey visor and has its button to the bottom of the earpiece, as opposed being on the limb supporting the eyepiece as on all previous models.
"I tinkered with some models I found on this ship a while ago and made some upgrades. Communications are linked to each other, this ship and #16. The old models would blow up when someone really powerful, powered up so as a safety feature, this new scouter has a power regulator and will simply stop calculating power levels beyond a certain point upwards of about 5,000,000 in order to prevent the explosive malfunction." Bulma said handing them out to everyone except 16
"Wow these are so cool" Beat said as he tried it on
Bulma smiled "Now I know you can sense energy but for now this is the only way to stay in contact to formulate any plans."
"She's right, listen up everyone…" Trunks got serious "...we're going in blind so when we land #16, Mai and I will engage the enemy, once we get any kind of information we will press the attack. Yurin will lead the rest of you listen well, follow orders, be careful and most importantly stay alive...let's go"
Location: New Namek
The Namekians were now in peril thousands of giant metallic soldiers were going around rounding them up and herding them towards the large monstrosity engulfing their planet. One Namekian tried to run but was caught in a large net; the others stood in lines and marched to their doom. One Namekian, an older one was tired and fell out of the line, instead of giving him time to rest one of the guards just roughly grabbed him and dragged him along the ground.
Dende looked on as he stood in the line with his people; he silently prayed to the kai's that help came soon. He was worried about his father Grand Elder Moori as he was part of the first group of Namekians that were captured. In line behind him were his brother Cargo and his two warrior sons Saonel and Pilina
"Grrrr" Pilina growled
Dende looked back to his nephew heard him growling "No Pilina you must remain calm"
"I can't I've had enough of this" Pilina growled as he broke his shackles and dashed out of the line rushing towards one of the guards preparing to attack
"Pilina!" Saonel cried out for his brother
The young Namekian warrior rushed at the large robot but was easily dispatched by being caught in the Cyclopian Guards hand, its large metallic claw almost crushing his head. Saonel broke his shackles and went in to save his brother and managed to punch the robot directly in its single red eye causing it to shut down and explode. Saonel helped the proud warrior up but soon another robot knocked both of them to the ground and prepared to end their lives.
"Nooo" Dende and Cargo cried out as the robot lined up his claw right at Pilina's face it transformed into a large cannon as Saonel prepared to shield his brother
'No not like this all that training for nothing' Pilina thought as he felt his life was about to end, he swore he'd train hard every day so he could protect his family and home as a member of the dragon clan…now he had failed
The Cyclopian Guard fired a condensed blast from his cannon and as it sped toward the two namekians suddenly a figure spun quickly and knocked the blast against the ground causing a dust cloud to cover them. The Namekian people were shocked and Dende could only hope that help had finally arrived, as the dust settled they found 3 individuals they didn't recognize.
Trunks, Mai and 16 had arrived and stood to face the threat. Saonel and Pilina knelt next to Mai who had been the one to save them.
"Are you two alright?" she asked in a kind tone
Pilina just looked up at her and her comrades and grumbled while Saonel responded "Y…yes we are thanks to you" he nodded as she gave him a very Goku kinda smile then she looked back at the robot and her face was serious
Dende wondered who these people were until he noticed a familiar symbol on their chest armor. "Could it be… are you all from earth?" he asked directed at Trunks
Trunks never taking his eyes off the robot as more landed next to it on each side "Yes Dende we are from earth my name is Trunks you know my mother Bulma"
"I am Son Mai"
"I am designated as Android 16" the gentle giant spoke using his cybernetics to analyze the threat the faced
Dende along with most of the older Namekians sighed in relief hearing that name they knew now they were in good hands, Bulma always knew really strong people.
"I'll say it once release the Namekian people and get off this planet" Trunks ordered but received no response as even more Robots appeared
"Spare me the theatrics you've made your demands very clear" they all heard a voice as the sea of Cyclopian Guards parted and out stepped a very sleek silver armored alien with a long tail that slammed against the ground as he stopped walking.
Trunks studies this enemy thinking he looks a lot like "…Freeza!?"
"Hmm no pathetic weakling I am Cooler, Freeza's older brother tell me how does some peasant like you know of my brother and where is that monkey Goku I so was hoping he would come so that I may finally kill him" Cooler asked studying the trio standing before him the boy and the girl wore what he thought looked like knockoff battle armor his old soldiers used to wear.
Trunks recalls that name as Goku told him he once killed a guy named Cooler this must be him but how "Goku passed away a long time ago and I know of your brother and your father…because I've killed them both" he said with a smirk
"What…" Cooler exclaimed for a second almost sounding surprised then he began to laugh "…excuse me for a moment you almost had me convinced I know for a fact that it was that saiyan filth Goku that killed my father and brother…how could someone like you even claim a feat like that."
Trunks smiled "In this timeline yes Goku was the one who did it, but like him we're saiyans from earth…" he said pointing to Mai "…I traveled to another timeline where my first opponents were your family and I slayed them both…easily, just like I will destroy you if you don't leave this planet right now"
Cooler was shocked but didn't show it "More monkeys hmph even if I do believe your ridiculous story it matters not I will take my revenge on Goku out on you since he is no longer with us what a shame."
"Be my guest but just to warn you we are much stronger than the Goku you fought" Trunks said tensing up preparing for the fight as he and Mai got ready
"We shall see, my Cyclopian Guards kill the others and bring the rest of the Namekians to power the Big Gete Star"
Mai growled "So the Big Gete Star is the monstrosity attacking this planet?"
"I would bother to explain, but you won't live longer enough to care, saiyan whore. The saiyan race will end today. I will see to that."
"You demented freak, I've heard enough!" Mai said as she and Trunks powered up to Super Saiyan getting in a battle stance. 16, Saonel and Pilina prepared for battle as well. Cooler was shocked to see two Super Saiyans as they both flew towards him pushing him back, while the Cyclopian Guards attacked 16, Saonel and Pilina.
With 16 and the Namekians
The trio were going head to head against 3 guards at a time, both 16 and Pilina were having trouble penetrating the armor of Cooler's Cyclopian Guards. "#16 was it… I am Saonel and this is my brother Pilina, I was able to pierce the metal shell by focusing my ki in a single point." Saonel shared the info he learned earlier
"Thank you for the information" 16 responded as he quickly scanned the robots and the BTG, his analysis was complete now. "Yurin the time to strike is now!"
"Dodon Ray!" A single beam of energy came from the sky and struck a robot with enough force to pierce it. As it exploded Yurin, Videl, Note and Beat landed in the middle of the fight. Now the 7 fighters began to push the Cyclopian Guards back slightly, the humans utilized teamwork having one person distract a guard while the other gave the finishing shot.
"Ok #16 what's the plan?" Videl asked as she dodged several strikes then moving out of the way so Yurin could shoot another Dodon Ray
"I have scanned the Big Gete Star and found several lifeforms gathered in one area, Videl take Note and travel inside to free them. Saonel will you provide them with backup?"
"Yes I will please earthlings follow me" Saonel responded as he destroyed another robot. The two warriors nodded and prepared to fly off following the namekian
"Wait come free us I can offer some help" They all heard Dende call out and changed the plan
16 removed his forearm and stuck it inside the robot blasting it apart. "Very well Yurin, Beat please help Pilina free these Namekians and escort them back to the ship"
"Yes sir" Beat responded as he took over the same role as Videl drawing in the robot so Yurin could destroy it
"Do not think to order me earthling" Pilina responded angrily as he continued fighting the guards
Yurin growled as she got closer to the line of Namekians "Do whatever you want but i'm getting your people out of here, Beat on me"
Beat joined her along with Saonel, Videl and Note as they were strong enough to break the chains. 16 and Pilina began rushing through destroying guards left and right. The two continue to walk through the machines while the humans freed the aliens.
"Thank you very much my name is Dende" he said as he shook Yurin's hand
"You're very welcome our friend Bulma is closing in with to a ship to help save your people" Yurin smiled
"Amazing, please we don't have much time. I would like to help by increasing your power please kneel before me!" Dende respond with Cargo nodding
The humans were slightly confused until Bulma confirmed through their coms that Namekians had the ability to unlock their hidden potential. Quickly kneeling before the Namekian as he held his hand out over their heads and one by one had their potential unlocked by Dende, greatly increasing their power.
"Wow I feel so much stronger" Beat noted as everyone else thought the same.
"This is amazing" Note smiled feeling more confident
"Ok we have our missions and a new power to help complete them let's go!" Yurin commanded
They all nodded and Saonel, Videl and Note flew off at much faster speeds heading towards the BTG. Yurin rejoined the fight with the guards while Beat helped Dende and the Namekians get out of harm's way.
Beat tapped his scouter "Ms. Briefs I have moved the group of Namekians away from the fight we are ready for extraction."
"Understood coming in now" she responded
Inside the BTG
The retrieval group managed to get to the giant metal monster, Saonel had blasted a hole on the side of the BTG and all three quickly entered and followed the large group of ki sigtures. "We need to find a way to get the Big Gete Star off our planet" Saonel suggested
Videl nodded, activating her scouter "I agree…#16 do you read"
With 16
"Affirmative" 16 respond taking out another guard
"We need you to try and take control of the Big Gete Star do you think this is possible?" Videl called out over the coms
16 scanned the ship again until he found what he was looking for "...I have found the main computer I will go there and try to take control, you must continue to search for the other Namekians"
"How will you take control?" Yurin asked as she watched the Namekians begin to board the transport ships
16 smiled "My cybernetics should be able to override Coolers control"
"Understood be careful #16" Yurin watched as the strange man flew off towards the large metal monster attacking his planet
16 quickly located the main system hub and using an upgrade Bulma gave him used boosters in his shoulders to reach the BTG. He entered the hub and with another upgrade began to hack into the Big Gete Stars mainframe.
With Videl
The trio had found the large gathering of Namekians only to learn that the Grand Elder had already been absorbed. Sad at the loss of his grandfather Saonel was struck in the back by an unknown source. Note saw the attacker as he was confused "You're supposed to be fighting Trunks…"
Videl stood ready powering up "Note stay focused we need to by time let's go KAME…"
Note joined in and the two charged a Kamehameha Wave firing it holding off the attacker. Saonel knew their power was great but wasn't enough to finish the attacker. He saw some of his people cowering in fear and knew what he needed to do to survive. "Brothers hear me these earthlings are putting their lives on the line for us. We need to join them and stand up for our people...warriors join with me and let a Namekian Savior be born."
There were about 50 warrior namekians that had been captured, alone none of them had the power to defend their people. They knew these humans didn't have the strength to fight the attacker and only took a moment to consider what was being asked and soon nodded in agreement; they all glowed as they held hands and one of them put their hand on the fallen Saonel.
Elsewhere on the Planet
Meanwhile the Hybrid duo's battle with Meta-Cooler had begun the two matched Cooler blow for blow in rapid succession but it is apparent that in their ssj state, Cooler was matching them. They thought had him on the ropes using teamwork but they weren't doing much damage to his metallic body. Trunks prepared to throw another punch but it was caught by Cooler, Mai tried to counter but suddenly Trunks was thrown at her pushing them back.
"Foolish children even Goku was more of a challenge then you are"
"You'd be a fool to underestimate us Cooler...'' the Meta alien threw a punch and Trunks dodged it and grabbed his foe's tail swinging him downward. Both Hybrids fired Masenko's connecting with him upon hitting the ground
Cooler took the blast and both looked at each other smiling seeing that his arm was missing. This quickly changed as his arm reformed and he disappeared only to reappear kneeing Trunks in the gut. This sent him back to the ground and Mai was by his side. The two flew off in sync attacking Cooler together, he managed to repel them.
"I think it's about time we stopped holding back Trunks."
"Indeed let's finish this haaaaa" Trunks replied raising his battle power unlocking SSj2
Mai began to channel her energy "Super KAIO-KEN x5!"
Both saiyan hybrids began to yell and Cooler was taken aback by this as he saw their power increase. Videl and Note stopped firing the blast to try and save some energy and turn around and were in awe of what they we're seeing. Trunks and Mai's power began to skyrocket as his golden aura grew more defined and started sparking, while her aura became a reddish golden color. The 50 Namekians plus Saonel all began to merge. Cooler took a couple steps back, his anger rising at what was shining before him. More of the Cyclopian Guards surrounded the attacker in the BTG as it watched the strange glowing Namekian. On both fronts the light from each transformation dissipated and before the enemy stood 3 powerful beings.
