Penny let out a gasp. "Dr. Eggman, what are you doing?!" She shouted, making sure Eggman would hear.
"I am making sure she will behave."
R3-B7 fell to the ground, clutching on to her head as Penny landed near her. "R3-B7, stay with me!" Penny said, putting her hands on her shoulders.
"It is no use. Her AI will no longer disobey an order."
"Help… help… me…!"
"No! You can fight this! R3-B7! FIGHT THIS!" Penny yelled as R3-B7 swatted her away.
"Nnngh… aaaagh…!" R3-B7 slowly rose as she slowly aimed her hand at Penny who had recovered.
"No… don't do this!"
"…I'm sorry… Penny…"
"Frenzy Mode: Activated."

R3-B7 was hunched over, barely moving as Penny prepared herself, but cautiously approached her. Suddenly, claws came out of her fingertips as a purple aura surrounded her as she swiftly fired a powerful shot at her. "AGH!" Penny was knocked back as she noticed R3-B7 destroying her crosshair and tore off her cloak.

Frenzied AI - R3-B7
"No! Stop! I don't want to fight!"
"Nnngh! I… I can't control it…!"
"You know what to do."
R3-B7 rushed at Penny, quickly shooting at her but she blocked the attack with her blades. R3-B7 kept shooting at her but Penny kept blocking the attacks as R3-B7 lunged at her as her claws clashed with her blade, both of them looking into each other's eyes. "You're gonna have to fight back!"
"I… I can't!" Penny said as she flew away from R3-B7, as she was being shot at from behind but Penny was avoiding the attacks until one shot hit her in the back. "Agh!" She yelped as she crashed into the Train Planet, slamming into a Mecha Bowser and destroyed it easily. "Nnngh…!" She winced as R3-B7 fired a laser but Penny fired a laser of her own, both of them colliding and exploding as R3-B7 flew down and tried to swipe at Penny but she jumped back as Penny stood up straight and closed her eyes.
"…I'm sorry…" Penny said, opening her eyes and fired lasers directly at R3-B7, but she swiftly avoided the attacks as she flew up as did Penny, both of them flying over and clashing with their weapons as R3-B7 fired a point blank Rocket at her, sending her flying back as R3-B7 chased after her as Penny recovered and flew away from her, as R3-B7 chased her.

At the Observatory…
"Hmm…" Ibuki wondered as she sat on the edge of the Blue Typhoon while playing her guitar. She was looking at the various people wandering around and chatting amongst themselves. However, she noticed someone was missing. "Hey uh, Ruby-chan…"
"Hmm?" Ruby turned to Ibuki. "What's up?"
"Ibuki can't help but notice someone is missing." She said.
"There is?" Ruby looked around. "I think everyone's he-… wait, where's Penny?"
"Her thoughts exactly. Penny-chan is missing."
"Hey guys!" Ruby said loud enough for the others to turn to her. "Do you know where Penny is, by chance?"
"Wasn't she with us?" Amy wondered.
"Yeah, I thought she was behind us." Palutena said.
"Maybe she got side tracked, like a Prankster Comet showed up." Nora suggested.
"No… I didn't see a comet on our way out." Rosalina responded.
Ruby folded her arms, a worried look was plastered on her face. "You okay, Ruby?" Yang asked with a hint of concern.
"…Something's horribly wrong."
Back at Toy Time Galaxy…
Resume Rinzler Recompiled BGM
Penny crashed into the Chain Planet as she recovered and slid to a halt as R3-B7 landed in front of her as her hands turned into drills as she rushed at her and tried to skewer her, but Penny avoided this as she jumped back. Her eyes spotting a yellow comet flying overhead. Fine time for a comet to show up. Penny thought as R3-B7 rushed at her again, but Penny jumped back right before she could get crushed by a Tox Box. However, R3-B7 destroyed the Tox Box and fired shots at her, but Penny blocked the attack as she danced around with her blades and sliced R3-B7 a few times and slashed her back.
R3-B7 aimed her hand and fired rockets as Penny would slice through the rockets and fired lasers at R3-B7, but she flew up into the air and fired out a couple of Bombs that forced Penny to avoid the bombs, but one exploded near her that sent her flying toward the other chainlink. She rolled out of the way to avoid getting skewered by drills as she landed on a blue tile, then jumped away to avoid getting crushed as the Tox Box would explode into pieces after R3-B7 spin dashed into it with spikes, then Penny quickly deflected a rocket as she fired a few lasers at her to send her back.
Plasma Mode, activate. Penny thought as she fired lightning bolts at R3-B7 to keep her at bay but she weaved around them and delivered a right hook to send Penny sliding through a few blue tiles as R3-B7 then picked her up and threw her back to the other chainlink where she landed on another blue tile as the Tox Box went over Penny, which was destroyed when R3-B7 bombarded it with bombs, but Penny would fire charged shots at her to send her toward the other chainlink.
R3-B7 would claw at Penny, but she blocked with her blade. "You're holding back…"
"I don't want to hurt you!" Penny said, firing a bolt of plasma at her as R3-B7 would jump back, then rushed at her and clawed her, but Penny would fly up but R3-B7 would grab her leg and slammed her to the ground as R3-B7 then picked her up and flew up in the air.
"Forgive me…" R3-B7 quietly said as she dive bombed toward the ground and slammed into a Tox Box, completely destroying it as they crashed into a blue tile as R3-B7 grabbed Penny and threw her to the other chainlink, firing lasers at her but Penny would roll out of the way and attempt to hide from her, but R3-B7 immediately found her and punched the ground to create a shockwave, but Penny jumped back as she landed on a Spike Trap, where R3-B7 would viciously fire bursts of fire at her but Penny would deflect these and would activate her Ice Mode as she fired ice at R3-B7 to hold her in place. R3-B7 burst out with an explosion as she tackled Penny to the ground and pushed her into the ground and started to drag her across the ground similar to Ridley's Space Pirate Rush, which would include slamming her into spike traps that broke when R3-B7 went through them.
"Nnngh…" Penny groaned, holding on to her arm as it fell limp, a small tear was seen in the joint of her arm. R3-B7 would throw Rockets at her but she would avoid the attacks as Penny used her functioning arm to fire icicles at her, but R3-B7 would grab the icicles and crushed them as Penny would be tackled to the ground and landed on the last blue tile as a Power Star appeared nearby, but the two robots paid no attention to it as both of them traded blows, with Penny getting hit by most of the blows as R3-B7 then sucked Penny in with a Void power before she was launched away and slammed into the ground, her body unable to move.
R3-B7 aimed her arm at Penny, approaching her as the latter looked at her with a pained expression on her face. R3-B7 clenched her fist. Her body was trembling a bit. "Penny… please… get up…" Her hand unconsciously aiming at Penny, a soft blue light appeared in her hand. "Get up… please!" She begged as Penny weakly looked at her, struggling to get up. "Please, flee from me… before I terminate you!"
Penny struggled to get up, but the amount of damage R3-B7 gave her put a toll on her body as her machinery struggled to cooperate. Her eyes fizzled a bit as she tried to look at R3-B7. She could see R3-B7 trying her hardest to look away but her AI forced her to watch. "R3-B7…" Penny could only say as the light got more intense. Penny's body refused to move, as she closed her eyes as R3-B7 let out a small whimper… when suddenly a missile hit her to knock her away.
Both of them would look up to see the X-Tornado flying overhead as Ruby and Sonic jumped off of the wings and landed on the ground as Sonic did a Homing Attack to slam into her as Ruby then used her semblance and slashed at her.
"Get AWAY from her!" Ruby yelled as the X-Tornado landed as Tails, Marisa, Byleth and Nora came to their aid.
"Wait… stop… d-don't… hurt her…" Penny weakly said as the others readied themselves as R3-B7 got in a battle stance and started moving, but suddenly she started to static.

"Mmmph!" R3-B7 grunted. "It… it appears Frenzy… massively strains my system…" She groaned as she looked at the others. "Please… take Penny and get out of here! Take the Power Star with you… I beg you!"
"Huh?" Nora wondered.
"What do you mea-"
"No time for that!" R3-B7 yelled, interrupting Byleth. "My AI… it's trying to reboot… so please, get her out of here before I unwillingly terminate all of you!"
"Unwillingly termin-… huh?" Marisa tilted her head.
"GO! NOW!"
Sonic closed his eyes, as he rushed off and came back with the Power Star in his hands. "We understand. Let's go."
"Right!" Ruby nodded, picking up Penny's damaged body as they got into the X-Tornado, with Sonic on one wing and Ruby on the other, holding Penny as they flew off back to the observatory. R3-B7 turned around and flew off back to the Center of the Universe, her body staticing and her body convulsed a bit.
Back at the Observatory…
"Do you see 'em yet?" Summer called out.
"No, not yet." Reimu called back, being the look out as Yang, Weiss, the Toad Brigade, the Mario Bros, Gloria in her Beedrill form, Hiyoko and Ibuki were looking out for them.
"Hmm…" Gloria would see something in the corner of her eyes and see the X-Tornado flying toward them. "There they are!" She said as they turned to see the X-Tornado landing on the runway as they got out once they came to a stop.
"Oh my goodness, what happened to her?" Daisy asked.
"R3-B7 happened." Ruby said.
"It's… it's not… not her fault…" Penny said, trying to move but couldn't.
"I'll go fix her up." Tails said, gently taking Penny as he took her to the repair shop inside the Blue Typhoon.
"I think I'll go get Nitori. She might help out!" Reimu said.
"And I'll go get Susie. She did help repair Penny after all." Nyx said.
"You said the way to Gensokyo is the bedroom, right?" Reimu asked as Rosalina nodded. "Alright, come on, Nyx. Let's go!"
"Right!" Nyx nodded.
"I'll bring you guys back here." Palutena said as Reimu and Nyx as they took off for Gensokyo and Popstar.
"So what happened?" Qrow asked.
"We don't know what was going on. She was about to kill Penny until we stepped in." Nora said. "R3-B7 was also saying the weirdest things like Frenzy put a massive strain on her system and was begging us to take Penny away from her. Also said that her AI was rebooting."
"Huh?" Qrow raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, we don't get it either… and this is coming from me who's not from a technologically advanced world." Marisa said.
"Odd…" Rosalina folded her arms. "What could have caused her to go against her protocol… strange…"
At the center of the universe…
Bowser walked into Peach's room. "Hey… is she okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, she's fine." Peach said. "Just a little bump to the head and a bruise on her chest, but she's alright." She said, cradling the sleeping Ralts.
Bowser let out a chuckle. "That's good."
"…Is something okay?" Peach asked. "You sound… melancholic."
"I do?" Bowser slapped his cheeks and gave her a glare. "What do you mean I sound melancholic? I'm the King of Awesome! I've got no time for being melancholic! I've got a universe to conquer!" He said as he stormed out.
"…Well, that was weird." Peach said.
Bowser walked over to look at his galaxy, grumbling about "stupid Cinder". "Hey, you alright?" A voice asked as he turned to see Roman approaching him.
"Yeah… just have a lot on my mind."
"Let me guess, was it the hot head?" Roman guessed as Bowser looked at him in surprise. "I wouldn't worry about her. Miss Hot and Mighty is like that to everyone, though I couldn't help but overhear what she said to your parental status. Is that what's bothering you?"
"No."
"Heh, thought not." Roman said and put his hand on his shell. "I wouldn't worry too much about it. You're a hell of a good father. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise." He said. "And besides, I don't think Cinder even had a family."
"What makes you think that?"
"Eh, just a hunch." Roman shrugged. "I wouldn't worry about it. Right now, we oughta focus on the completion of this galaxy."
Nearby, R3-B7 landed near Eggman. "Well done, R3-B7. You did well against Penny." He said as R3-B7 gave him a glare while folding her arms.
"Whatever… just repair me."
With a nod, Eggman walked over to the repair room with R3-B7 as he started to repair her… but he noticed something that caught his attention. "Oh my…"
"What is it?"
"Mmm, apparently Frenzy did a number on your system. Interesting… most interesting." He mused.
"What does that mean?"
Eggman pulled out a notepad and wrote something down. "It means… that Frenzy mode is very bad for your system. It can leave irreparable damage."
"What?!"
"Indeed. Orbot. Cubot!"
"Yes, doctor?" Orbot came over with Cubot.
"Do some analytics on R3-B7. I expect a full diagnosis when I return."
"Where are you going?" Cubot asked.
"RWBY and their friends have all the Wisps at their disposal. I think it's time I… revisit an old friend." He said and chuckled darkly as he walked away.
Back at the Observatory…
A heavenly light appeared at the Observatory as Nyx and Reimu returned with Nitori and Susie. "Whoa… that's gonna take a while to get used to…" Nitori said. "…Why do I feel weaker?"
"You'll get used to it." Reimu said.
"Okay…" Nitori shrugged.
"Where's Penny?" Susie asked as a whistle caught their attention where they would see Tails waving them over.
"Over here!" Tails waved over as Nitori and Susie headed over where Tails would escort them to where Penny was at.
Nyx turned around. "Alright, I guess we'll just have to-… wait, did some of them go to get Power Stars?"
"Yeah, they did. They should be back soon." Yang said.
Bonefin Galaxy - Kingfin's Fearsome Waters - JNPR, Marisa
"Whoa, that's a cool looking planet over there." Nora said.
"Yeah. Looks pretty cool." Jaune nodded. "Alright, let's head over there!"
"Yeah!" Marisa nodded as they hopped into the Launch Star and launched themselves toward the planet as they immediately dove into the water. Jaune would notice a ? Block nearby as he swam over and hit it as four Penguin Suits popped out as JNPR grabbed them and absorbed them. Marisa sweatdropped a bit. What, none for me? She thought.
"Sorry…" Pyrrha said before she had a shiver go down her spine. "Did you guys feel that?"
"I did." Ren nodded.
Nora looked around and spotted something, letting out a gasp. "Look at that!" She said as they turned around to see a massive undead shark approaching them.

Terror of the Sea - Kingfin
"Oh. My. Gosh." Pyrrha said in awe.
"…Didn't RWBY fight something like this before?" Jaune wondered as Nora pulled out her scroll and took a picture.
"Alright, I'll just send these to the girls… after we destroy this thing!" Nora said, putting it away as they started to swim for it, while Marisa took a different approach as she put the Mini-Hakkero to her broom and then activated it, where she launched herself out of the water.
"There ain't no way I'm holding my breath for that long over that monster." She said and then smirked. "But, who says I can't provide support?" She chuckled.
Kingfin circled around JNPR as they threw ice balls at the beast, but Kingfin wasn't affected all that much. Ren immediately spotted a Red Shell as he swam for it and then when he picked it up, he threw it at Kingfin where it homed in on him and struck him. Kingfin let out a roar as a Master Spark hit him on the back.
"She's above us!" Jaune said.
"Good, we got support." Ren said as Kingfin turned around and called up a few Skeletal Fish Guards for assistance.
Nora readied her hammer, whistling to get her Wisp's attention as it came zipping on by as she smirked. "Here we go!"
"LIGHTNING!"
Nora zipped over to Kingfin, hammering him underneath the chin to make him get knocked up into the water a bit as she then fired a bolt of electricity to hit him head on to stun him as Pyrrha swam over and threw a Koopa Shell at him for good measure. At the same time, Marisa would throw down a Deep Ecological Bomb that made Kingfin's bones crack some more.
Kingfin let out a roar as more Skeletal Fish Guards came out and started homing in on them where Nora swatted a few away as Kingfin dove toward Nora to try and chomp her, but she zipped out of the way as Pyrrha swam down and grabbed a Red Shell as a few Skeletal Fish Guards homed in on her but she used her semblance to push them away as she threw the Red Shell right as a Skeletal Fish Guard snuck up behind her and exploded on contact. "Agh!" Pyrrha yelped as another Fish Guard went through the smoke and slammed into her, which slammed her into a rock pillar which knocked the power up right off of her.
"PYRRHA!" Jaune yelled as Pyrrha opened her eyes and saw one coming right for her as she tried to push it away, but another one slammed into her from the side and exploded, knocking her into a rock that knocked her out. "NO!"
"Pyrrha!" Ren exclaimed.
"Rrrgh… NO ONE TAKES OUT OUR AMAZON!" Nora yelled, zipping toward Kingfin as her hammer lit up with electricity as she swung it down and sent Kingfin down toward the ocean floor as Marisa would fire a Final Spark on him right as Ren and Jaune threw two green shells at him, the latter holding Pyrrha, as Kingfin let out a roar before lighting up and exploding.

Jaune would immediately swim up to the surface with Pyrrha in his arms as Marisa came flying down to meet up with them. "Quick, get her up on that ground up there!" She said, grabbing Pyrrha as Jaune would get on her broom and flew up toward solid ground while Nora picked Ren up and used her Lightning to boost her way up.
"There we go." Marisa said as she put Pyrrha down as Jaune immediately put his hands on her chest and started applying CPR on her.
"Come on, Pyrrha… don't drown on us! Don't you drown on me!" He pleaded, pumping as hard as he could.
"…Doesn't it also mean mouth to mouth?" Nora guessed.
"Oh, you're right!" Jaune said as he applied mouth to mouth to Pyrrha as he did another cycle on her… and when he applied mouth to mouth again, she opened her eyes and saw what Jaune was doing. Her face immediately went red and instinctively launched him away with her semblance. "YAAAAAAAAAH!" Jaune yelled as he fell on his back. "Oooogh!"
"Pyrrha, you doofus! He was saving your life!" Marisa said.
"Wha-… oh my gosh!" Pyrrha immediately was by Jaune's side. "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to push you away! I'm so sorry!"
"If this is what their make out sessions are like, I'd hate to see what it's like on a date…" Ren said.
"Who cares? We saw mouth to mouth with those two dorks!" Nora grinned. "I don't care if it was CPR!" She said, causing Marisa and Ren to sweatdrop.
"…Why does it feel like we forgot something…" Ren said as he looked down and saw the Power Star. "Oh right… that."
"I got it." Marisa said as she dove into the water, then surfaced a minute later with the Power Star. "Ta-dah!"
Jaune got up, rubbing his head. "Let's go…" He said, being helped up by Pyrrha as they took off back to the Observatory.
Sand Spiral Galaxy - Choosing a Favorite Snack - Hiyoko
BGM: Space Athletic (Super Mario Galaxy)
Hiyoko landed on a wrecked airship. "Alright, let's see… the Power Star should be way over there." She said as she noticed a Magikoopa near her. "And what are you looking at?" She asked as the Magikoopa would throw magic at her, but she simply dodged as the Magikoopa disappeared. Hiyoko would shrug it off as she would launch off of a Sling Star and land near the Sinking Sand Planet as she would dodge another spell from the Magikoopa where she would see two Mushrooms nearby. One was the Boo Mushroom and the other was the Bee Mushroom. She immediately went over to the Boo Mushroom and popped it in her mouth, then did a front flip into the air.
With a spectral light blue aura surrounding her, Hiyoko was sporting a plum base color kimono with a feathery white trim, quite literally with feathers at the ends of the sleeves and bottom. The kimono sported a pattern of assorted chibi ghosts that stood out with their bright colors. Her ponytail was undone to adopt a long, free flowing fair style.
"Heh, if only Sonia can see me now." Hiyoko chuckled as she looked at the Magikoopa ready to throw magic at her as she jumped into the quicksand and casually walked across it with a hum. The Magikoopa jawdropped at the sight of this as she stopped and turned to look at him. "Bleeeeh!" She said, sticking her tongue out at him and pulled her eye socket down as she turned around and kept walking.
"That's… bizarre…" The Magikoopa whispered as he got a tap on the shoulder as he turned around.
"BOO!"
"AAAAAAAH!" The Magikoopa yelled as he fell on his back into the quicksand in terror.
Hiyoko let out a giggle. "Sucker." She said as the ghostly form of Hiyoko disappeared and returned to her as she went at a casual walk through the sand as a few Boos saw her in surprise as she floated up toward the top after dodging the Water Shooters. As soon as she got on top to the platform, she would simply fly over to the moon where she would collect the Power Star. "Got it~!" She smiled and then flew off.

At Rolling Gizmo Galaxy…
BGM: Blue Sky Athletic (Super Mario Galaxy)
"Gah! This is fucking impossible!" Church yelled after he and the Star Ball fell into the abyss once again as the Reds, Blues, Carolina and Washington were with him. "Those stupid gizmos and Bob-ombs are just a pain in the ass!"
"Yeah, those gears aren't no walk in the park either." Tucker said.
"What did those Lumas say again? Collect the three Power Stars in the Three Trials Galaxy and win something great?" Donut asked.
"This is a hell of a trial if you ask me." Simmons said.
"Mmph…" Carolina sat cross legged. "There has to be a way through this galaxy… if only we knew what it was!"
"I got it! How about we push it?" Washington suggested.
"That's what I did! But that didn't work out so well!" Grif said.
Earlier…
"This isn't so bad." Grif said as he was pushing the Star Ball but he didn't see where it was going as it fell off the zig zag platform right at the start and Grif went with it. "AAAAAAAAAH!"
Back in the present…
"Mmm… there has to be a way to get to the other side." Washington said and glanced at Sarge. "Without shooting."
"Drat!"
"Hmm…" Caboose examined the Star Ball and gently tapped it with his knuckles. "Open sesame!" He said, and to everyone's amazement, the Star Ball split open in two to open up the Power Star.
"WHAT?!" Everyone yelled.
"Yay! I figured out the password!" Caboose said, taking the Power Star, causing Church to facepalm.
"I can't even…" Church groaned as they flew off.
At Bubble Blast Galaxy…
BGM: Space Fantasy (Super Mario Galaxy)
Cream & Cheese landed on the ground after collecting all the Star Chips. "That was easy." She smiled as the Launch Star appeared before her as she hopped in and launched off, landing on another platform at a different spot. The two of them flew above the electric rails as they flew over to the Power Star, but a few Bullet Bills would lock on to them and chase them down. "Hmm?" She wondered as she flipped around. "Cheese, get 'em!"
"Chao!" Cheese flew over and slammed into the Bullet Bills where they all exploded on contact. Cheese flew out of the smoke with a smile, brushing his shoulder off with a giggle as he flew over and high fived Cream as they flew over and collected the Power Star.
"Too easy!" Cream smiled and flew off.

At Loopdeswoop Galaxy…
"WAHOOOOO!" Daisy yelled as she was manta ray surfing as Mario and Luigi were right behind her.
"Hon, there's a loopdeloop up ahead!" Luigi called out.
"Oh, I see it!" Daisy smirked as she sped up as Mario did the same thing where Luigi would attempt it, but gravity would kick in as he started falling.
"AAAAH!" He yelled as he fell into the water with the manta. "Hack! Plepth… oh sure, now gravity kicks in?" He mumbled as he got back on and jumped the loop as he soon rejoined his bro and girlfriend where they crossed the finish line together.
"Woo!" Daisy cheered as they hopped off as Coach handed over the Power Star. "Thank you~!" She said as the trio flew away with the Power Star in tow.
Back at the Planet of Trials…
Everyone landed on the planet with the Power Stars in hand. "Why do you guys look wet?" Sarge asked.
"Surfing. You?" Mario responded.
"…Golfing." Grif muttered.
"Collecting Star Chips!" Cream said.
"Congratulations. You have bested the trials." A Green Luma said. "And here is your prize." He said as they uncovered the Green Chaos Emerald.
"Wait, that was here this whole time?!" Washington yelled.
"Yup." The Luma nodded as Luigi took it.
"Welp, I guess that settles it." He said as they headed back to the Observatory via a Warp Pipe.
With Penny…
"Nitori, what are you doing?" Susie wondered.
"Oh, installing artificial tear ducts into her eyes." Nitori responded. "It might not work, but hey, if it does, I'm gonna be pleasantly surprised."
Tails sweatdropped. "Artificial tear ducts… that's a new one."
Nitori chuckled. "It's experimental. And as I said… if it works, great. If it doesn't… back to the drawing board." She shrugged. "Call me morbidly curious." She said with a wink as Susie and Tails looked at each other with a shrug as they continued repairing her while Ruby watched on from the other side.
"Hey…" A voice said as Ruby turned to see Summer handing her a glass of milk. "Thought you might want this."
"Thanks mom." Ruby smiled, happily taking the milk and taking a few swigs.
"I know you're worried about her." Summer said.
"Yeah… I mean… she was one of my first friends back at Beacon. Of course I'd be worried about her." She sighed as she lowered herself down until she sat on the ground.
"Yeah… you didn't really take it well over what Galacta Knight did to her." Summer sat down next to her. "But look at her now, despite looking beaten up, she's been upgraded to a tough girl."
"I know." Ruby nodded as she finished her milk and then rested her head on her shoulder.
"Something on your mind? You look a bit troubled."

"It's what R3-B7 said. She was… begging for us to take her away before she could terminate her. She… she sounded like she was in distress… it didn't sound like the R3-B7 we knew back when we first met her."
"Hmm, I didn't really know what happened to her after you and Dark Ruby took her down. If I had to guess, Penny had said something to her that got to her before their next meeting. She was one of the last ones to head into the infirmary."
"What do you think?" Ruby wondered.
"Call it a wild guess, but I imagine that Penny almost got through to her until Eggman overrode her system. Now, I'm not certain I'm right… but I can imagine it went something like that. Did Penny say anything to you?"
"She did tell us not to hurt her…" Ruby quietly said.
"Hmm, the plot continues to thicken…" Summer mused, leaning her head on Ruby's head.

The Roses then heard heavy footsteps approaching as they would look over to see Yang approaching them. "Guys!"
"What is it, sweetie?" Summer wondered.
"It's Eggman!" Yang said as the two of them looked at each other and then they took off running where they would reach the main area.
"OHOHOHOHOHO!"
"Alright Egghead, spill it!" Sonic said. "What's your game?"
"I am inviting everyone who has a Wisp to come and challenge me to a duel. The winner gets the Grand Star."
"Everyone who has a Wisp?" Weiss wondered.
"What are you planning, Eggman? This is obviously some sort of trick!" Sonic said.
"Ohohohoho! Would I ever trick you, my blue friend? Don't answer that."
"Mmmph…"
"All of you must come! Anyone else can come for moral support. OHOHOHO! See you then!" The monitor turned off.
"How did he even hack into the Observatory…" Rosalina wondered.
"This is obviously some kind of trap." Ilia said.
"I agree." Blake said. "But we have to rescue the Grand Star in some way."
"That's the part that annoys me…" Ilia sighed.
"The part that concerns me is that he wants the Wisps involved too. I've a feeling he's gonna use them against us." Nyx said.
"So, what do we do?" Jade wondered.
Sonic let out a chuckle. "Show him the power of teamwork, of course." He said. "So what if he uses the Wisps against you? You can just get 'em back! Trust me, I've had that experience before."
Ruby smiled. "Then that's what we'll do!"
"Oh, this is gonna be a pain… but what choice do we have?" Weiss shrugged.
"You ready for this, Tai?" Qrow asked.
"Yeah." Tai nodded and looked down at Zwei. "How about you?"
"Woof!"
"I thought so." Tai said.
"We'll go with you." Sonic said as Knuckles, Amy Cream & Cheese nodded.
"Be careful, okay?" Mercedes said, hugging Ilia.
"I will." Ilia smiled, kissing her on the cheek. "I'll be back." She said as they walked off as Summer would hug her daughters, husband, teammate and the dog as they walked off, as even Weiss patted Azure on the head and kissed him on the forehead as she walked away to leave him behind.
"Be safe…" Summer said quietly, watching them all fly away.
Later, at the Lava Reactor…
Everyone with the Wisps landed on the ground, seeing a massive base in front of them while surrounded by lava. "Someone's been busy." Yang said as they walked into the base where they saw it was just a battle arena.
"Welcome!" Eggman greeted. "Ah, Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. Where's the fox?"
"He's busy." Sonic responded. "So, where's this fancy trap of yours?"
"I'm so glad you asked." Eggman said and then noticed Zwei. "Incredible, a dog that can use the power of the Wisps… fascinating." He let out a chuckle. "Never mind about that… let the fun begin!" He said, pressing a button as suddenly, ray guns emerged from the sides, and before anyone could make a move, the ray guns struck the Wisps and trapped them in bubbles.
BGM: Theme of Eggman (Sonic Colors)
"NO!" Ruby yelled as they tried to grab them, but the bubbles would quickly be flown over to Eggman as Sonic would try and grab them, but when Sonic touched one of them, it let out a zap that electrocuted him and knocked him back.
"Rrrgh!" Sonic growled as the Wisps were thrown into a trap door as Eggman smirked devilishly as he pressed another button as he dropped into a trap door as everyone would see the Nega Wisp Armor rise out of the ground.
"OHOHOHOHOHO!"
"This again? Pffft, this is a cakewalk." Sonic said.
"You might think that, my snooping blue friend… but this is entirely different. First off, no runway where you can be at full speed. Second off, a better shield! And third of all… this arena is suitable only for me! You've lost the moment you walked in here."
"And you… you Baldy Mcnose Haired Four Eyed Lunatic…" Yang readied her gauntlets "Are about to learn not to mess with us!"
Eggman let out a laugh. "We shall see about that, my angry bombastic fiend… we shall see."

"Frenzy Mode - Activated!"
Eggman zipped around the area in the Nega Wisp Armor as he then tried to ram into the group as they dove out of the way as Ruby attempted shooting at it with Weiss making ice glyphs and shooting them at him but the Nega Wisp Armor swatted them away as it raised its claws up in the air. "Quake Mode - Activated!" The Nega Wisp Armor slammed its fists into the ground, creating powerful shockwaves that knocked them back as Nora switched her hammer to its grenade launcher form and shot at Eggman, but a shield blocked her from hitting it accurately as it dive bombed into the ground and knocked JINX and Ilia away with powerful shockwaves, then the arms took aim at them. "Laser Mode - Activated!"
The Nega Wisp Armor shot lasers at the group, forcing them to dodge as a purple laser nearly struck Ruby hadn't she dodged in time as Sonic ran over and attempted to spin dash into him. "Hover Mode - Activated." The Nega Wisp armor floated up and aimed its arms down. "Rocket Mode - Activated." The Nega Wisp Armor shot rockets at the group, forcing them to get out of the way as Xena would hold one of them with her telekinesis and shot it back at the Nega Wisp Armor where its shield would block it.
"Knuckles, throw me!" Amy yelled as Knuckles nodded and picked her up, proceeding to spin her around and tossed her up into the air as she smacked the Nega Wisp Armor from underneath with her hammer, striking it that knocked Eggman around as he let out a growl and lowered himself down right as Knuckles got into position and punched it hard in the back, which actually freed two Wisps, which were none other than the Magenta and Orange Wisps as they returned to Ilia and Iris.
"Alright, now we're talking!" Iris smirked as the Wisps went inside the two.
"ROCKET!"
"RHYTHM!"
"You may have gotten a free hit, but you've got a long way to go!" Eggman said.
"Burst Mode - Activated!"
The Nega Wisp Armor fired bursts of fire directly at Pyrrha as she would attempt to block this with her shield but it pushed her back several feet as she retaliated by throwing a stream of fire at Eggman, which the armor blocked with its arms. "Lightning Mode - Activated." Electricity shot out of the Nega Wisp Armor and shot massive lightning bolts that struck Blake and Xena, knocking both of them down but Jaune was able to heal them back up while Weiss set up a protective ice shield. However, the Nega Wisp Armor zipped behind them. "Bomb Mode - Activated." The Nega Wisp Armor fired bombs that struck the four and blasted them away as Eggman let out a laugh, as missiles struck the Nega Wisp Armor as he looked up to see Iris with a Rocket Launcher. He let out a growl and fired lasers directed at her as she swiftly avoided the lasers, unaware of Ilia dancing around and creating a line and landed behind the Nega Wisp Armor as Sonic used the grind rail as a boost as he spin dashed behind the armor as Knuckles would be right behind him and punched him hard enough to knock it away and freed two more Wisps, which were the Ivory and Purple Wisps where they went inside Nora and Xena.
"Let me take over for this one!"
"Got it!" Xena nodded, letting Dark Xena take over as she let out a smirk.
"LIGHTNING!"
"FRENZY!"
Eggman let out a growl, punching a button as a shield appeared behind him as well. "Cube Mode - Activated." He would shoot up cubes that scattered everywhere. "Laser Mode - Activated." The Nega Wisp Armor fired lasers that reflected off of the cubes, striking Ruby and Qrow to knock them down as Zwei got into position in front of Nora.
"Alright, Zwei… let's do this!" Nora smirked, picking him up and tossed him into air as she swung her electrified hammer as Zwei went flying toward Eggman as an electrified missile as he slammed into Nega Wisp Armor's shield, which was strong enough to briefly shatter it and knock the mech back as Dark Xena went rushing ahead and fired dark psychic explosions that would sent it further back and freed two more Wisps, being Black and Indigo as they went into Nyx and Qrow.
"BOMB!"
"ASTEROID!"
"Spike Mode - Activated." The Nega Wisp Armor shot out spikes that rolled toward Zwei, but he leapt out of the way while Qrow had used his Asteroid powers to send the Spikes back at the Nega Wisp Armor, which it had swatted away. "Drill Mode - Activated." The Nega Wisp Armor's claw arms started spinning like drills as it rushed at Yang and Ilia, but Ilia would grab onto Yang's arm and would dance away from the drills as Yang would fire a Hadoken right at the Nega Wisp Armor's right side, dealing some damage to it but the Nega Wisp Armor turned around and attempted to drill them, along with Ruby and Blake but would join Ilia to get away from the drills where Cream dive bombed at the armor while carrying Amy as she dropped Amy where she hammered the Nega Wisp Armor's head and then Cream flipped over and kicked it to knock it back, then Sonic would do a Homing Attack on the arms, then the shoulders and then finally right at Eggman as he attacked him head on and boosted into him to save three Wisps this time, being Red, Crimson and Gray where they would go into Pyrrha, Jaune and Tai.

"Rrrrgh!" Eggman growled.
"Ghost Mode - Activated."
The Nega Wisp Armor turned invisible. "Crap, where'd he go?!" Yang yelled as Tai's fists turned metal as he punched the ground to create a shockwave and try to hit the Nega Wisp Armor, but it didn't hit a thing. It was then that the Nega Wisp Armor slammed into everyone and drilled into Ruby, Ilia and Jade to send them flying. "Void Mode - Activated." The invisible Nega Wisp Armor rushed over to Blake, Yang, Weiss and Nora as it spat them out a moment later with the Void power up, slamming them into the ground.
"Alright, that's it!" Dark Xena said as she clapped her hands together, and with her Frenzy ability, she quickly teleported around and made several explosions with her teleportation, managing to hit the Nega Wisp Armor as she then unleashed powerful psychic waves that struck the Nega Wisp armor as Jaune had picked up Pyrrha with his Eagle Wings.
"You ready?" Jaune asked.
"Yeah!"
"Go for it!" He said, diving down and throwing her to the Nega Wisp Armor as she activated Burst as her body was enveloped in fire as she slammed into it and created a large explosion that knocked out two Wisps for her troubles, being Violet and Jade as they flew over to Blake and Jade and went inside them.
"VOID!"
"GHOST!"
"Hey Egghead, you're losing Wisps!" Sonic taunted.
"Oh, shut your trap, you snarky blue rodent!" Eggman shot back.
"Come on guys, we got this!" Ruby said, quickly shooting at the Nega Wisp Armor but it zipped around the area as it fired lasers at Ruby but she used her semblance to dodge it, but Eggman aimed right where she was about to land and fired as the laser struck her. "Gah!" She yelped.
"Ruby!" Yang exclaimed as she narrowly avoided getting hit by a drill attack as she rushed over to Ruby. "You okay?!"
"Nnngh, I'm fine!" Ruby said, as she got back up with the help of her sister as Weiss would jump in and block a laser with a reflective shield as she closed her eyes and stabbed the ground as an ice knight appeared behind her as it rushed at the Nega Wisp Armor, but the Nega Wisp Armor zipped away and fired Spikes at the group, but Blake would absorb them with her Void ability and then expelled them where it slammed into the Nega Wisp Armor, then Jade would hover up and then turned herself invisible as she flew inside the Nega Wisp Armor and freed two Wisps, Green and Yellow as they flew into Ren and Yang.
"HOVER!"
"DRILL!"
"Oh yeah, baby!" Yang smirked. "Amy! Nora! On me!"
"You got it!" Nora said as she and Amy got behind her as Yang activated her Wisp Power and drilled toward the Nega Wisp Armor as it attempted to slow her down with Cubes, but she drilled right through them and slammed into the Nega Wisp Armor as Eggman had put up a shield to block Yang from drilling into her, but Nora would grab Amy's arm and then with her Lightning wisp, the two of them zipped toward Yang as the girls hammered Yang hard enough for her to drill through the shield and through the Nega Wisp Armor, freeing the last three Wisps as they flew into Weiss, Zwei and Ruby.

"You… YOU… you horrid huntresses and huntsman!" Eggman yelled as the Nega Wisp Armor was staticing and malfunctioning.
"Hey Egghead!" Sonic called out. "Remember the last time this happened?"
"What do you-" Eggman's eyes widened through his glasses. "Oh no…"
BGM: Nega Wisp Armor Phase 2 (Sonic Colors)
"Heh, he remembers." Sonic smirked. "Alright guys… give 'em the what fors!"
"You got it!" Ruby said as all of them started glowing.
"Unlimited Colors!"
"…Ooooh no." Eggman said as he tried to get the Nega Wisp Armor moving. "Rrrgh… work you stupid thing!"
Ilia rushed at the Nega Wisp Armor, quickly bouncing around in a loopdeloop-like fashion and then Jaune flew into the grind rail that Ilia produced as he picked up speed and slammed into him with a massive Eagle strike to push him away. Zwei got into position as Ren would pick him up and hovered up into the air as he threw him into the Nega Wisp Armor as Zwei activated his Spike ability and crashed into the Nega Wisp Armor, tearing a hole into it and rolling out. Pyrrha aimed her hands at Qrow as she shot bursts of fire toward him as a ring of fire circled around Qrow as he shot the ring of fire at the Nega Wisp Armor. Weiss stabbed the ground as Cubed Ice popped up as Nora would launch herself off of the ice blocks and then fired a massive lightning attack that electrocuted the Nega Wisp Armor and Eggman himself.
Nyx would aim at Jade and fired a few Bomb Arrows as she caught them, then she flew over and went inside, planting them inside the Nega Wisp Armor as she flew out as they exploded inside of it, where Iris would then fire rockets at Blake where she would then shoot them back out at Eggman with full force. Dark Xena picked up Tai with her telekinesis as she threw him toward the Nega Wisp Armor, where his fists turned to steel as he punched it hard enough to create mini shockwaves that gave Eggman a bad case of whiplash where Dark Xena teleported to Eggman and then snapped her fingers as a dark explosion hit the Nega Wisp Armor.
Ruby and Yang looked at each other and with a nod, Ruby took Yang's hand as she used her Semblance as Yang activated her Drill where they became a Red-Yellow Tornado Drill as they drilled right through him as they turned around where Ruby activated her Laser wisp as the Drill then was enveloped in a Cyan color as it shot out and smashed through the Nega Wisp Armor as the two reunited with the others. "Alright, let's finish this in style!"
Eggman let out a groan as he saw the huntsmen and huntresses glow brightly. "Oh no…" He groaned as they started floating up in the air as Ruby turned to Sonic.
"Sonic!"
"Heh, thought you'd never ask!" Sonic smirked as Ruby and Sonic quickly spun around to create a tornado as the colors circled around the tornado to create a powerful rainbow tornado. Eggman could only watch in horror as he pulled out a white flag.
"Wait! I give up! I surrender!" He exclaimed, but it fell on deaf ears as the Rainbow Tornado aimed directly at Eggman. Ruby and Sonic got at the tail end of the Tornado as they both took each others hands as Ruby turned Cyan, transferring some of her power to Sonic as they shot themselves into the tornado.
"ULTIMATE COLOR BLASTER!"
The Tornado shot toward Eggman as it slammed into the Nega Wisp Armor where it exploded inside and Eggman was shot out toward space. "AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He yelled as he disappeared in the vacuum of space, complete with an explosion that featured Eggman's symbol.

The Rainbow Tornado dissipated as everyone landed gracefully on the ground as Ruby and Sonic turned around and high fived each other. "Heh, not bad at all." Knuckles said as Ruby turned toward the others.
"Oh… sorry we didn't bring you into it." Ruby said, rubbing her head in embarrassment.
"Eh, nah… don't worry about it. Finishers are always Sonic's thing." Knuckles said.
"I don't think we would've pulled that off." Amy chuckled.
"It was amazing though!" Cream praised.
"Chao chao!" Cheese agreed as Ruby turned toward the others who looked mighty proud of themselves, as did the Wisps who were also proud as everyone high fived or hugged each other in victory as the Grand Star appeared before them where Ruby took the Grand Star.
"Let's go!" Ruby smiled as they all flew off.
Back at the Center of the Universe…
"AAAAAAAH!" Eggman slammed into the ground. "Ow…" He groaned.
"So, how was the fight?" Bowser asked.
"…I can see why they would put a stop to your plans." Eggman said, getting up and dusting himself off. "So, how's the planet coming along?"
Bowser smirked. "It's going perfectly. We are nearing completion."
"Excellent." Eggman smirked as Bowser walked off, but Eggman would fold his arms and looked at the planet in front of him. Something felt… off. "Mmm…" He walked off and then came back with a monitor as he aimed it directly at the massive fiery planet as he would take a look at the readings. He let out a small gasp as he read it.
"Severely unstable - Implosion imminent. Entire universe is at risk of destruction of a Supermassive Black Hole."
It was then that he immediately remembered Rosalina's words.
"You can't just build an empire with just seven Grand Stars! You need a whole lot more than that! If you just make a new galaxy with only seven, it'll be incredibly unstable! It'll cause a black hole that will destroy the universe!"
"…Have we made a grave miscalculation with these Grand Stars?" He wondered quietly as he approached Bowser who was chatting with Roman and Neo. "Excuse me, Bowser."
"Hmm? What is it?" Bowser asked.
"It seems we have made a grave miscalculation." He said and gave Bowser the readings he found. "It would seem like Rosalina knew what she was talking about."
"Bah. Those readings are nothing. Our galaxy will be victorious and we will rule the universe with an iron grip! Your little toys are the ones with the miscalculations."
"My inventions are never wrong."
"HA! It seems like there's a first time for everything."
"Bowser, if you would just listen-"
"Bah, I've got no time for this. I've got a universe to conquer!" Bowser said and walked off, leaving Eggman alone.
"Mmm…" Eggman folded his arms. "Stubborn and thick headed as always." He said and decided to walk toward a different direction. "Orbot! Cubot! With me." He said as the two robots followed him.
"Where are we going, doctor?" Orbot asked.
"We have made a grave miscalculation. We are going to pay a visit to our adversaries… because I have a hunch that the Queen of the Cosmos might have an answer to our problem."
"Woohoo! Road trip!" Cubot cheered.
"It is not a road trip!" Eggman scolded as they hopped into the Egg Mobile and flew off.
Meanwhile, with R3-B7…
R3-B7 had sat down on a bed, her hands over her face. She could still remember what Orbot had said to her.
"Oh my… this is problematic."
"What's wrong?"
"It would seem that your Frenzy mode did a massive number on your system. Your wiring, system and AI are all jumbled up. It is irreparable. As we speak, your life expectancy is short."
"…How long do I have?"
"Well, according to our calculations… the best case scenario, you have a few days left to live. Worst Case is a few hours."
"Yeah, unless you found someway to speed up that process by have someone killing you!"
"Cubot, you dolt!"
"What?"
R3-B7 contemplated what to do. Her mind immediately went to Penny.
"What is your true purpose? Truely, there's got to be something else other than following that evil scientist."
"I… I do not have an answer to that."
"…Of all the things to make me question my purpose." She whispered quietly, as she was still contemplating what Penny had said to her. Those words… those words that wouldn't leave her alone. "My true purpose… what is it…" She wondered.
"What is your true purpose, R3-B7? Surely there is another purpose than obeying that evil scientist."
"I do not have an answer to that… I think… Penny, what is your purpose?"
"To make friends with everyone and have a good ol' time. Well, that and I've been built to hunt down Grimm, but I know I am more than that."
"I see… I… I may need some help finding out my true purpose."
"I… I am more than just Eggman's loyal servant." She told herself. "…I'm running out of time… I know what I must do."
R3-B7 walked out of her room, but her system caused her to walk awkwardly as she walked outside, looking into the deep darkness of space. She closed her eyes. "Penny Polendina… you must terminate… no… save me." She said, opening her eyes as she scanned the whereabouts of the Observatory and then flew off.
