Ruby and the others landed at the Observatory where the final Grand Star shot directly toward the Core of the Observatory. "We're back!" Ruby smiled.
"And a bit bruised, but we're alright!" Yang added.
"Oh, that is so wonderful to hear!" Summer smiled, happily hugging the girls before hugging Tai and Qrow.
"So, what'd we miss while we were gone?" Sonic asked.
"Well, as soon as you left, we had some visitors show up." Travis explained.
"What kind of visitors?" Nora asked. "Dangerous and deadly ones?"
"Well, depends on your definition of "dangerous"." Dorothea said as they saw some creatures fly over to them in curiosity.
"Whoa! What the heck are these things?" Jaune asked.
"These are Elgyem and Beheeyem." Gloria said. "According to the lass, they tend to frequent the Observatory."
"They're definitely curious creatures." Rosalina said. "They're not the only ones who visit the Observatory often." She smiled as a Violet Minior came flying around, but had no shell. "This right here is a Minior. Without its protective shell, they usually die off. However, I do give them a protective aura that'll protect them while I fix their shells." She explained as the Minior flew around.
"Well, that's pretty neat." Ruby said.
"That's not all either." Palutena chimed in.
"Huh?"
Mario let out a chuckle. "Remember who we fought on Star Hill?"
"That Commander Shroob guy?" Weiss guessed.
"Well, yes, but also-" Something landed behind RWBY and JNPR as they turned around and saw Deoxys standing there.
"DEOXYS?!" They yelled.
Rosalina let out a chuckle. "Yeah, he tends to frequent here." She said as Deoxys simply floated away.
"So, wait, where the heck were these guys before?" Yang asked.
"I believe it is because since the Observatory had no power, the Pokemon couldn't find their way over. When it was at full power, they came over." Polari said. "At least, that's just a guess on my part."
"Well, do we have any other Pokemon showing up?" Qrow wondered.
"There were a few in the top dome, so I imagine-"
"Faaable!"
Rosalina immediately turned around as they saw the whole Cleffa line waving at them as they slid down the top of the Observatory and landed on the ground near them. "Oh hello!" Rosalina smiled.
"Oh my gosh, they're so cute!" Mercedes exclaimed as she and Ilia knelt down and waved at the Cleffa and Clefairy while the Clefable happily waved at the others, then Rosalina heard another voice that made her eyes sparkle as they saw a majestic moth fly down and flew over to Rosalina's level, and accompanied by it was a small ice bug.
"It's you two! I was hoping you were safe from the invasion!" Rosalina smiled.
"Frooos!"
"Snom Snom!"
"A Snom and a Frosmoth?" Ruby tilted her head.
"Mhm!" Rosalina nodded. "You see, these two were gifts from Arceus himself."
"A-Arceus?!" Luigi said in surprise.
"Yeah." Rosalina nodded and turned to the Cleffa line. "You see, I was making my rounds around the cosmos one day when I noticed these three in bad shape. I nursed them back to health and fed them Star Bits to get them back up and running. Next thing I know, Arceus shows up and thanks me for helping out some Pokemon. In gratitude, he gave me a Snom and a Frosmoth to keep me company." Rosalina explained. "These three tend to follow me around since I saved them, not that I'm complaining."
"So, what about the others?" Blake wondered.
"Oh, they tend to frequent here on occasion." Rosalina said as they heard a Pokeball open up and out came Luna.
"Eevai!" Luna cried as the Snom hopped down and happily played with the Eevee with the Frosmoth also playing with her, where Luna happily ran around Reimu and Marisa.
"Whoa!" Marisa exclaimed.
"Aww…" Blake smiled.
"Aw look, they're all so happy~!" Summer giggled as Ruby and Yang looked at each other.
"You think we oughta show her?" Yang asked.
"Yang, I think she's already seen our Pokemon from the afterlife."
"Yeah, but not in person." Yang reminded.
"Oooh, good point." Ruby nodded as they turned to Summer. "Hey mom, we have something to show you."
"Hmm?" Summer turned to her as they both called out their Pokemon. "Oh!" She grinned as she walked over and looked at their Pokemon. "Goodness, they all look so cuter up close!" She said, her eyes sparkling. "Especially this little guy right here!" She said, picking up Fleur.
"Ivy!" The Ivysaur smiled.
"Haven't evolved Ivysaur yet?" Gloria asked in surprise.
"Eheheheh… I've been distracted by the cosmos to remember training them." Ruby sheepishly admitted.
Gloria let out a chuckle. "That's understandable." She said as Summer was happily petting them all.
"So, I think we oughta go check out that upper dome." Marisa said.
"Agreed. Though I do have to wonder… these, uh… creatures… whatever you call 'em-"
"Pokemon." Gloria said to Reimu.
"Right, Pokemon… I'm surprised they were locked up in that top dome for so long."
"Oh, they usually tend to go up there when they sense danger. In fact, Clefable and Clefairy tend to protect them." Rosalina explained. "It also acts as a playground for them, so they're not totally bored out of their minds."
"A dome as a playground?" Travis raised an eyebrow.'
"How can that be a playground in such a tiny place?" Grif wondered.
"Now this I gotta see." Sarge said as they walked off as Ruby and Yang recalled their Pokemon as they started to head up.
"Wait! Let me go with you." A voice said as they turned to see Penny fully repaired. "I want to get some stars as well."
"Are you sure?" Ruby asked.
"Yes!" Penny nodded.
"She's really insistent." Nitori said as she walked out. "We turn her back on and she's rarin' to go. Didn't even give me a chance to reverse engineer her…" She said as Susie elbowed her. "Ooof! What? I was joking!"
"I'll keep an eye on her, just in case." Tails said and turned to Nitori and Susie. "What about you two?"
"Eh, I'm gonna check this place out. Looks pretty cool, if I'm being honest." Nitori said.
"Agreed." Susie nodded as the two walked off together.
"Alright, fair enough." Tails nodded as they started to walk to the top, but Gloria and Jade got distracted as Gloria walked into the Gate while Jade headed over to a Hungry Luma.

In the dome…
"Oh wow!" Ibuki said as they walked into the Garden. "Yeah, Ibuki can definitely see this place as a playground!"
"Huh…" Pit walked over to some rocks and then reached his hand out. "I'm… I'm not feeling any invisible walls. This whole area is open! Dang…"
"Cooooool!" Nora said in awe as they all were pulled into the Pull Star as they launched away to the galaxies before them.
Meanwhile, at the Gate…
BGM: Gateway Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy)
Gloria walked out of the door. "Oh! I'm back at this place." She wondered as she wandered around to collect Star Bits and walked over to the top of the platform and saw a Red Luma there. "Oh, hi little lad!"
"Oh, hello there." The Red Luma said. "This would be the spot where mama would spend time here alone, but… I guess she's too busy helping you collect Power Stars." He said.
"Why would she do that?"
"Oh, she usually comes here to think since, ya know, it gets lonely in space."
"Oh…"
"But, since she's helping you, that proves that she trusts all of you. And if Mama likes you, then you're okay in my book. However, I wanna test you out real quick." He said, as a Red Star appeared before her. "This right here… gives off the power of flight for a limited time. At least, that's what I would say, but mama decided to remove the time limit whenever she felt like using it. A bit redundant since she can float, but hey, what can you do?" He chuckled. "Anyway, see if you can use this to collect the Purple Coins scattered around the area."
"The wha?" Gloria turned around and saw Purple Coins appearing above her. "…Huh, that's new." She said and then looked at the Red Star and walked over to it, picking it up and then absorbing it in her hand. Her hair immediately turned white as it grew longer down to her lower back. Her bangs grew until they were dangling below her cheeks and hid her ears. Her hat disappeared in place of a red triangle on her white hair as two white tufts of hair appeared on her right and left side of the head. A red T-Shirt appeared on her as a blue triangle appeared on her chest while also wearing white sleeves as she was wearing white shorts. She was wearing no shoes at all. Red jet wings appeared out of her back as a Mega Stone appeared as a bracelet on her right wrist.
"LATIIIIIIIIIIII!" Gloria yelled. Oh HELL YEAH! I'm a motherfockin' Latias! She thought.

BGM: Purple Coins (Super Mario Galaxy)
"Alright, go get those Purple Coins!" The Red Luma said as Gloria floated up and with a smirk, she immediately flew off at Mach Speed… where she crashed into the platform a second later after making a round trip and collected the thirty Purple Coins in midair.
"Lati!" Gloria groaned.
"Oh!" The Red Luma winced.
Definitely gonna need to get used to that. Gloria thought, shaking it off and flew around, this time at a more slower pace and collected the remaining Purple Coins around the planet. A Red Star appeared on the platform a second later as Gloria landed and took the Power Star.
"You're welcome!" The Luma said as Gloria nodded and took back to the Observatory where she practiced flying around at mach speed. As she was doing it, she heard an alarm going off as she immediately flew down to see what was going on.
Prankster Comet in orbit? Where? Gloria wondered as she spotted Purple Comets popping up from Good Egg Galaxy all the way to Toy Time Galaxy. WHAT THE HELL?! She thought as she examined each one, seeing that they were all Purple Comets. She immediately remembered what Rosalina said about the Prankster Comets. The Purple Comets spread Purple Coins everywhere. She immediately let out a smirk. Let's get to work! She thought as she immediately went into the Terrace and immediately blasted off to Good Egg Galaxy.
Once Gloria landed at Good Egg Galaxy, she saw the Purple Coins scattered around the area. Oh, this is gonna be a breeze! She thought and immediately flew around to collect them.

At Boo's Boneyard Galaxy…
Jade landed on a Skull planet. "1200 Star Bits… that's insane." She said as she hopped into the Warp Pipe and found herself unable to cross a few walls. She immediately called over her Jade Wisp for assistance as it came flying over and with a nod, it went inside Jade.
"GHOST!"
Jade phased through the wall and giggled as she flew over and saw the Spooky Speedster. "Oh! Hello."
"Ah, I see you're here for "it" as well, I take it." The Spooky Speedster mused. "Very well, we shall race for it. I'm warning you though, I'm much speedier than I was before."
"We'll see about that." Jade said as they both flew down, as Jade avoided the Banekiti as she spotted a wall where she could easily phase through and then found herself getting carried off by a fan as she floated around before finding herself at the finish line. "Got it!" She said as the Spooky Speedster came floating down.
"45 seconds, not bad… here is your star." He said as he handed it over to Jade.
"Thanks!" Jade smiled as she took it before flying off.
At Deep Dark Galaxy…
BGM: Deep Dark Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy)
The group landed on a beach. "Ooooh, neat!" Marisa said.
"Now this is pretty cool." Amy grinned.
"Now let's get those Power Stars!" Mario said as they nodded and went off, only to find they couldn't go anywhere with the gate being shut, so Mario lit up a few torches with his Fire Brand to open the gate as they walked through the small passage, then Mario lit up another torch as an Ice Flower appeared in front of them, where Mario immediately absorbed as his team crossed the water while the others dove into the water.
Deep Dark Galaxy Star 1 - The Underground Ghost Ship - Weiss, Marisa, Knuckles, Ren, Ilia, Mercedes
Weiss and her team would spot some Star Bits pointing toward a cavern as a few Bloopers carried on their day. They proceeded to go through the cavern where they would see a lever switch as Ilia went over and pulled it where a gate would open up as they swam to the top while avoiding the Jammyfish in the area as they surfaced and found the Underground Ghost Ship.
"Oh wow, a ship in this area?" Marisa wondered.
"Interesting!" Mercedes said as Weiss heard a roar and heard Azure coming in and flying around Weiss.
"Hey sweetie!" Weiss smiled as they walked over to the Ghost Ship and curiously climbed aboard, when suddenly an aura surrounded the ship once they got on.
"What the?!" Ilia yelled.
"Looks like we wandered into a trap." Marisa said where Ren would see something.
"Up there!" He said as they all looked up, where they saw Kamella flying toward them.

BGM: Kamella (Super Mario Galaxy)
Witch with a Vengeance - Kamella
"I'm baaaaack!" Kamella cackled, pointing her staff at them. "And I'm ready to knock you out!"
"Not sure who you are, but we're ready to-" Weiss, Ren and Ilia's aura suddenly fizzled as they let out a few grunts.
"Nnngh! What…?" Ilia wondered.
"Oh no… not now!" Weiss said as she looked up and saw a White Comet flying above them.
"What's that?" Marisa asked.
"Daredevil Comet… and it's bad news." Weiss said.
"Not sure what you mean by that, but I'll take your word for it!" Marisa said as Kamella twirled her wand around and launched out fireballs where they quickly avoided the attack. "Alright, you want to throw down with magic?" She pulled out her own wand. "Then I'll give ya some!" She said as she threw out danmaku from it as Kamella would block with fireballs and collided into each other to cancel each other out as Weiss ran over and impaled her a few times to send her back. Kamella responded by firing lightning bolts at Weiss that sent her flying as Azure would breathe fire at Kamella.
"Rrrgh!" Kamella growled as she was then hit by some danmaku where Ren would shoot at her as Ilia and Weiss would then call up their Wisps after Mercedes healed up Weiss, then launched a fireball at her. Kamella would launch a lightning bolt at Marisa, striking her and sending her flying.
"Argh! What the hell…" She winced as Mercedes would heal her up while Weiss, Ilia and Ren called up their Wisps for assistance where Knuckles would pop up from under the ship and unleashed a shoryuken to knock Kamella up in the air, then would get blasted by a Master Spark. Kamella let out a growl and then launched a fire attack directly at Weiss.
"CUBE!"
Weiss stabbed the ground as a block of ice blocked the fire spell.
"RHYTHM!"
"HOVER!"
Ilia would dance around the flames and electricity as she would circle around Kamella while using her weapon to strike her when needed as she jumped off where Mercedes, Marisa and Weiss would hop on the trail that Ilia had left where they struck Kamella repeatedly as Azure came flying over and scratched her with his talons. "Rrrgh!" She grunted as Knuckles would jump up and did a Homing Attack on her that knocked her back.
"We'll see if you like this!" Kamella said, calling upon a few Magikoopas for assistance where Marisa would launch a few fireballs from her wand as they would connect to the spells that the Magikoopas had thrown at them as Ren would pull out his Ren Bow and would shoot a few arrows at the three of them as Kamella would let out a growl and fired magic at Ren, but he hovered out of the way. "Farewell!" Kamella yelled as she would attempt to launch magic, but suddenly felt a sharp pain. "Nnngh! Why… why do I feel… weak…?"
"You were scratched by a Rathalos." Weiss said. "Fun fact about a Rathalos, their talons are filled with poison."
"WHAT?!"
"And it seems like the poison took its toll on you." Weiss smirked smugly as Azure let out a happy roar. "Now, let's finish this in style." She said, calling out Mara.
"Poppi!" Mari cried as Weiss activated the Z-Crystal on her wrist and would do a hula dance, this time with both feet on the ground.
"Hydro Vortex!" Weiss ordered as the Popplio rushed at Kamella and slammed into her.
"I'll help out!" Ilia said, pulling out a Thunder Tome. Thanks for giving me this, Annette. She smirked as she charged up a lightning spell. "ARC-THUNDER!" She yelled, firing a massive lightning bolt that struck Kamella head on, and since she was already dripping wet.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Kamella yelled as she fell on the ground as her wand shattered and a Power Star popped out while a Power Star emerged from the Daredevil Comet and flew over toward them, then Kamella disappeared.

"Whoa, where did you get that?" Weiss asked.
"Oh, Annette gave it to me when Mercie showed me around Garreg Mach." Ilia said.
"It was her way of saying she likes her." Mercedes giggled. "She thought we'd make a cute couple!"
"Well, she wasn't wrong." Marisa chuckled. "Mmph… so that Daredevil Comet… was that basically a "We get weakened" scenario?"
"Yeah." Weiss nodded.
"Oh boy… I just hope Reimu doesn't get caught in one of those." Marisa sighed.
"Poppi! Poppi!" Mara hopped over to Weiss.
"You did great!" Weiss smiled as the Popplio let out a smile… before glowing brightly. "Oh!" She exclaimed in surprise as the Popplio evolved into Brionne.
"Briooonn!" Brionne cried and hopped into Weiss's arms.
"Oh, you are so cute!" Weiss giggled as Ren took the two Power Stars as they flew off back to the Observatory.

Deep Dark Galaxy Star 2 - Bubble Blastoff - Mario, Yang, Tai, Amy
While the others went into the water, Mario ice skated across the water with Yang, Tai and Amy behind him. He jumped on the water platforms to freeze them over as the trio behind him jumped on the platforms until they got on solid ground, where Yang would punch a Magikoopa into a wall to knock him out as they climbed up a few platforms until they found a Water Shooter that would take them to the nearby planet.
"WHOOOOOA!" Tai yelled as he was shot off to the Cheep Cheep Gambol Planet and landed on the ground as Yang, Mario and Amy landed near him.
"You alright, dad?" Yang asked.
"Yeah, it just caught me by surprise." Tai said as some Cheep Cheeps were flopping around while Amy spotted a few tree stumps as she swung her hammer to bury them into the ground where a Water Shooter activated as the bubble took them to the Marble Planet.
"Okay, what do we do here?" Yang asked. "Besides dodging these electrical rings!" She said after jumping over one.
"Hmm…" Tai would spot three tennis balls underneath them as he had an idea and punched one below him as it shot into the watermelon, where it grew inside. "Aha!"
"That'll work!" Yang said as she and Amy would swing their arm/hammer into another tennis ball to send it into the watermelon while Mario ground pounded the other water to shatter the glass as it had turned into a watermelon planet where they would grab the Power Star while avoiding the beams.
"Piece of cake!" Mario said as they flew off.
Deep Dark Galaxy Star 3 - Guppy and the Underground Lake - Iris, Luigi
Iris and Luigi swam deeper into the water after Weiss's group went into the cave as they got to the ocean floor where they would spot Guppy swimming around. "What in blazes!" Guppy yelled. "You again! You think you can just win another prize from me just like that? Argh! You're gonna have to race me around!" He said as he turned around and swam off as Iris had called up her Rocket Wisp.
"ROCKET!"
"Oh, we'll see about that." Iris said and went after him while Luigi noticed some mines near a wrecked airship as he fired a Thunder Hand at the mines to blow them up where a Launch Star formed as he hopped into the Launch Star and flew off.
Deep Dark Galaxy Star 6 - Boo in a Box - Luigi
Luigi would land in the Teresa Room Planet where he spotted a Boo appearing in front of him. He immediately pulled out his Poltergust and sucked him in, and then the Poltergust spat out a Power Star. "Too easy!" He chuckled as he took the Power Star and flew off into an open window.
Back with Iris…
"ARGH! How have you beaten me again?!" Guppy exclaimed after Iris had beaten him a second time as he handed her the Power Star. "Alright… I'm a fish of my word… here you go."
"Thank you." Iris said as she blasted off.
"…I still think you're a cheater."

Meanwhile, at Dreadnought Galaxy…
BGM: Battlerock Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy)
"What. The heck. Is that?" Nora asked as they stared at the Dreadnought.
"I think it's some kind of space station." Carolina said.
"Or a massive ship. I'm not sure." Pyrrha shrugged.
"I'm guessing massive ship." Travis guessed.
"Definitely that!" Ibuki said as they wandered around the Beam Planet until they found three Launch Stars in front of them.
"Welp, see you guys on the other side!" Nora waved as they launched off to different directions.
Dreadnought Galaxy Star 1 - Infiltrating the Dreadnought - Blood Gulch, Carolina, Washington
The group landed on a ground where it was filled with Goombeetles, as Sarge would shoot at them but the bullets had no effect. "Yeah no, that helmet won't do you any good." Washington said.
"Drat!" Sarge said and then gave it a kick that would knock it on its helmet and made it spin where Sarge would shoot at it. "Huzzah!" He said as Tucker and Caboose knocked out the other two where the Warp Pipe was freed as they would all go in and found themselves in the Dreadnought. "Here we are, boys! We're inside the battle station!"
"Alright, now let's see if we can find a Star in here." Church said as they started walking where they would meet their first obstacle… wall jumping.
"Okay, does anyone know how to wall jump?" Grif asked.
"Nope." Donut responded.
"Nada." Church replied.
"Eso no está en mi programación." (That's not in my programming.)
"We're not like Mario, unfortunately." Tucker said.
"Greeeeat, so we're stuck here!" Grif said.
"Not necessarily." Carolina said as she activated her jetpack. "Washington and I can give you a lift."
"Wait, US?!" Washington exclaimed.
"Yes."
"But… uh… about that…"
"Oh for crying…" Carolina facepalmed. "You don't even know what happened to Georgia!"
"Exactly! And I don't want to end up like Georgia! Forget about it!"
"Ugh…" Carolina groaned. "Fine…" She grumbled as she picked him up and flew him over to a Warp Pipe as she did so for the others as Carolina landed near them.
"So what did happen to this Georgia guy?" Sarge asked.
"Well, you see-"
"Nope! I don't wanna hear it!" Washington said.
"I'll tell you later." Carolina said as she used her jetpack to make her way to the top after carrying everyone where they would launch themselves to an Aqua Planet where Carolina would fly over and grab the Power Star.
"That should do it." She said and turned around, and saw the whole planet flooded. "WHAT THE?!"
"Tucker did it!" Caboose said.
"I did not!"
"I leave you guys alone for a few seconds and you flood the planet? …Oi." Carolina shook her head as they flew off.
Dreadnought Galaxy Star 2 - Dreadnought's Colossal Cannons - Pyrrha, Nora
Pyrrha and Nora landed on the Mini Wanwan path. "Welp, let's see where this takes us!" Nora said as they walked over while balancing themselves on some nuts that allowed them to cross over safely… for the most part, that is. As they crossed, they would spot Mini Wanwans rolling down the path. Nora would let out a gasp. "Mini Chomps?! Ooooh, that's adorable!"
"Careful, they'll run you over!" Pyrrha warned.
"Oh relax, I'll be fine!" Nora said as she walked through the electrical gates with a hum and then hammered an electrical unit that would disable the gates. "Alright, we're set!"
"You know, theoretically, we could have just walked on these blue tiles." Pyrrha said.
"Yeah, but that's boring!" Nora chuckled as Pyrrha walked around the mini Wanwans as they hopped on the rotating nuts and then they both fired a lightning bolt and a fireball at two Octopodes to lower a platform for them. They would then launch away to a series of moving platforms where they were bombarded by cannonballs, but Pyrrha would use her polarity to push away the cannonballs with Nora swinging her hammer at a few, and after some platforms that changed the gravity for them, they would make their way to two Jump Beamers that Nora took care with her Thunder Hand to temporarily disable them.
"Phew, that was a handful…" Pyrrha said.
"Right? Could you imagine if you had to do a collectathon while being bombarded with cannons on a small platform? It'd be hell!" Nora said as they took the Power Star and flew off together, but Pyrrha would get a text message from Gloria.
Hey lass, can you come over to Toy Time Galaxy? I need some help with something.
I'm on my way back to the Observatory. I'll meet you over there."
Great! I'm on the 8-Bit Luigi planet.
Okay. …Wait, what?

"What's with the look?" Nora wondered.
"Oh, Gloria needs me for something. Something about an 8-Bit Luigi in Toy Time Galaxy."
"Eh? Oookay then."
Dreadnought Galaxy Star 3 - Revenge of the Topman Tribe - Ibuki, Travis, Xena, Tails, Penny, Cream Cheese, Sonic
The group landed on a UFO. "Alriiiiight~!" Ibuki grinned. "Let's see where this will lead us to!"
"Yeah!" Sonic nodded as they walked toward a Spring Topmen and jumped on them that would take them to a Sling Star. However, Xena would curiously walk underneath the UFO and would come across a Warp Pipe, then would hop in.
Dreadnought Galaxy Star 6 - Dreadnought's Garbage Dump - Xena
Xena hopped out of the Warp Pipe and saw a few Bob-omb Launchers with a lot of garbage lying around. Her eyes sparkled at the sight. "Oh baby!"
"What's with all the trash?"
"AAAARGH! THIS IS NOT A GARBAGE DUMP!" A Gearmo yelled. "Saaaay, since you're here, why don't you get rid of it for me? I'll give ya something good!"
"Sure. We'll take care of it!" Xena smiled as she walked ahead.
"That's good. Wait… we?"

"Hell yeah! You take one side and I'll take the other!"

Xena pulled out her bow and then fired explosive shots at the left side, immediately blowing up the garbage as Dark Xena took over as she teleported toward the garbage as she clapped her hands together and then unleashed a psychic explosion that destroyed the garbage easily.
"WHAT." The Gearmo yelled. "That was ten seconds flat!" He said, dropping the Power Star as Dark Xena took it.
"We'll take that!" Dark Xena said and then teleported away from the Gearmo.
"…I have no words. What just happened?"
Back with the other group…
The group landed on a small missile-like planet after collecting blue Star Chips, then they saw more Pull Stars and cannonballs being fired. "Ya know, we can just fly over to the Launch Star." Penny suggested.
"I was thinking the same thing." Sonic chuckled as Tails latched on to him while Travis hitched a ride with Penny as they flew over to the Launch Star and launched away to a massive Landing Platform that were filled with Ring Beamers. Sonic simply ran across the platform and then launched away while the others flew over the Ring Beamers. They would eventually reach the Launch Star and flew away toward a saucer.

"Anyone hear something?" Tails asked.
"Yup. Ibuki hears it loud and clear." Ibuki said as they walked around the planet and then would find themselves at an arena, where they would see Topmaniac coming in for a landing.
"This guy again? Thought the firecracker destroyed this thing." Travis said.
"Looks like its back for more." Cream said as Topmaniac landed and then immediately went into battle mode.

Rebuilt With a Vengeance - Topmaniac
Topmaniac charged at them, only for Sonic to Homing Attack it to deactivate it and then Travis slashed through it to cut it clean in half, destroying him easily.

"Didn't do a very good job with that "Vengeance" part." Ibuki giggled as they took the Power Star and flew off, but the flight was cut short for Sonic.
"Huh?" Sonic wondered and then saw a red comet flying overhead where he was enveloped in light and would soon find himself at the UFO. "Oh, I see, this must be that Speedy Comet." He said as he would see a timer and picked it up. "Six minutes? Pffft! I can do this in my sleep!" He chuckled as he pressed the timer and immediately jumped into a Sling Star and flew to the Sphere Planet, where he would spin dash into a Topman to disable the barrier and once the Luma transformed, he would fly over to a Cube Planet as he would throw out a spring and then jumped into it where he went into the Launch Star and flew off to the minefield, as he got a running start and proceeded to Triangle Jump his way through until he got into the Launch Star and flew off to the Landing Platform and rushed his way to the Launch Star and blasted off to Topmaniac's Saucer as he ran to the top and collected the Power Star. He would then check the time.
"30 seconds, sweet!" He grinned and then flew off with it.
At Melty Molten Galaxy…
BGM: Melty Molten Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy)
"Whew! This place is hot…" Ruby groaned.
"Tell me about it…" Byleth said, waving her hand.
"Come on, let's go before we all melt in this god forsaken place." Qrow said as they started walking.
Melty Molten Galaxy Star 1 - The Sinking Lava Spire - Jaune, Qrow, Summer
"You're lucky you're dead." Qrow said as they walked ahead.
"Why's that?" Summer wondered.
"Because you don't have to deal with heat stroke."
"Oh, good point." Summer said and then sulked a bit. "Aw, now I feel bad…"
Qrow ruffled Summer's hair as they walked. "Don't worry about it. Stuff happens." He said.
"Let's just hope we don't have to deal with any of that." Jaune said as they hopped on some sinking platforms.
"You don't have to!" Palutena said as Qrow and Jaune suddenly felt cooler. "You like it? I call it my Palutena's Super Cooling Refreshener! Now you don't have to worry about heat stroke in this galaxy!"
"The name needs some work, but thanks." Qrow said.
"Nonsense! The name's fine. Now if only I can convince Blake to come here so she won't have to worry about this heat…"
The trio walked over a platform as Qrow and Jaune waited for the fire geysers to dissipate while Summer phased through them. "I wish we could phase through it." Jaune said.
"It's not a big deal." Summer said nonchalantly as they hit a pedestal for a rock wall to get lower as they walked ahead… and Jaune was hit by a fire geyser on the wall.
"GAH!" Jaune yelled, jumping back and shaking the flames off of his sleeve, while Qrow and Summer grimaced at this.
"You alright?" Qrow asked.
"Yeah, I'm alright." Jaune winced as Summer would float up and pick Qrow up and flew up to the top of the wall while Jaune called his Crimson Wisp over.
"EAGLE!"
Jaune met up with the duo as they walked over to a Sling Star and launched them toward the volcano and launched them away where the volcano erupted behind them as Star Bits appeared around them where the trio collected the Star Bits as they landed on a small glass planet where Jaune would spot a Hungry Luma. "Hi there! I need eighty Star Bits!"
"That's not too bad." Jaune said, as he gave him eighty Star Bits.
"Ooooh, I'm so full… I think I'm gonna TRANSFOOOOOOOOOOORM!" The Hungry Luma flew off and transformed into a Lava Sea Planet. Jaune would immediately hop into the Launch Star and flew toward it.
Melty Molten Galaxy Star 6 - Burning Tide - Jaune
As soon as he landed, he saw the paths in front of him would be covered in lava during its high tide phase. He would also see a Silver Star. "Oh, this is easy." He said as his Eagle Wings sprouted as he flew over and collected the Silver Stars, dodging some fire geysers that nearly hit him where he would collect the Power Star after combining the Silver Stars. "Got it!" He grinned and flew off.
Back with the duo…
Summer would float around the fire planets while Qrow would fly around in his crow form, both of them ignoring the Pull Stars as when they got close to the Launch Star, Qrow would turn back to normal as they would launch away toward another Launch Star at a rock where they would fly toward a Hardening Rock Planet with fireballs arching around them as they landed on a Hardening Lava Planet where they would rush over and collect the Star Chips while taking out some Lil' Cinders as a Launch Star appeared in front of them, then they flew off toward a Lava Spire and landed on a platform.
The platforms they walked on would sink as they rushed over to the spire, but as they did, the pillars started to crumble and sink, which rose the lava up. "Isn't that just typical." Qrow grumbled.
"I think it might have just been a trap." Summer said, floating up.
"Yeah, that my bad luck sprang!" Qrow shot back, turning into a crow and flying with Summer until they landed on the top where Summer would phase her hand into the crystal and pulled out the Power Star.
"Don't beat yourself up. Who knows, maybe your "Bad Luck Charm" might turn out in your favor." Summer said.
"Really? Because I don't see it." Qrow said as they started to fly back to the Observatory, but Summer stopped and turned her head.
"Hey Qrow? You go on ahead, I'm gonna go check on Ruby."
"Alright, see you in a bit." Qrow said as they flew off. "Might be in my favor… hmph, as if that'd ever happen." He muttered under his breath.
Melty Molten Galaxy Star 2 - Through the Meteor Storm - Palutena
Palutena landed on a Thwomp Planet after luring a Lil' Cinder to some torches. "Hmm, I could go the long way… but where's the fun in that?" She chuckled as she warped over to the other side and flew off to the Cooled Lava Area where she casually walked through the planet while occasionally shielding herself from meteors raining down on her as she collected the Star Chips and then went into a Launch Star where she flew off and flew past some meteors as she landed on a cage on the U Tower Planet.
"Bullet Bill or Explosive Flame?" Palutena wondered to herself, seeing a Bill Blaster on the other side. "Hmm…" She used an Explosive Flame to shatter the cage. "That!" She giggled as she launched away and landed near a Star Ball. "Power of Cooling!" She said, turning the lava platforms into ice, while also making bridges for the gaps and filled up the holes on the other side. "Perfect!" She said as she hopped on the Star Ball and rolled the ball toward the flag, but the problem was… it was made of ice.
"Mmmph! This is a little slipperier than I anticipated!" Palutena said as she nearly fell off and landed in the ice but she caught herself as she made her way toward the flag, hopping off as the Star Ball shattered as she collected the Power Star. "Nothing to it!" She grinned and then flew off.
Melty Molten Galaxy Star 3 - Fiery Dino Piranha - Ruby, Rosalina, Daisy, Byleth, Pit, Reimu
"I have to say, I feel a lot cooler." Pit said as they hopped out of a Warp Pipe on a different Hardening Lava Planet.
"Totally!" Daisy grinned as they walked around and saw a few Lil' Cinders minding their own business.
"So, what do we do here?" Ruby wondered.
"Call it a hunch, but I wonder if we get rid of these little guys, we'll move forward." Rosalina said.
"I was thinking the same thing." Reimu nodded as they took out the Lil' Cinders on the planet where a Launch Star appeared after they took them out, then they flew off toward a Steel Platform area where they jumped between the platforms and then launched away from a Launch Star where they saw a giant egg in the distance.
"Wait… isn't that a…" Ruby's eyes widened. "OH CRUD!" She yelled as Rosalina tried to halt everyone's movement, but with how fast they were going, they landed on the egg anyway.

"Crud…" Rosalina groaned as they backed away slowly as the egg caught ablaze before shattering, then Fiery Dino Piranha turned toward them and roared.

Hot Headed Piranha Plant - Fiery Dino Piranha
"Okay, so how are we going to get this Power Star from it without getting Viridi so worked up?" Pit wondered as the Fiery Dino Piranha breathed fire at them, forcing them to dodge. "I'm open for ideas here!"
"We oughta put it to sleep!" Byleth suggested. "Does any of us have any sleeping powers?"
"Sadly, no!" Ruby said.
"None on my end!" Reimu said. "Also, who's Viridi?"
"Crap!" Daisy said as Fiery Dino Piranha charged at them, but Rosalina aimed her hand at the Fiery Dino Piranha.
"Sleep!" She said, as an aura surrounded Rosalina's wand and fired it at the Fiery Dino Piranha as it fell over and slid as it came to a stop, inches from Rosalina.

"Phew…" Ruby smiled. "Now we just gotta get this Power Star out of-" Suddenly her aura fizzled. "GAH!" She yelped as she fell on one knee.
"Ruby?!" Pit would rush to her side. "What's wrong?"
"Up there!" Byleth said, pointing up ahead as a White Comet flew over the planet they were on.
"A Daredevil comet?" Daisy wondered. "Well, the good news is that this bad boy's asleep." She said, but she saw it stir and woke up, letting out a roar. "OR NOT!"
BGM: The Encounter (Kingdom Hearts III)
"Rrrrgh, why do I have a feeling Marisa jinxed me!" Reimu complained as Fiery Dino Piranha angrily charged at the group as they quickly dodged the attack as they tried not to attack the creature as it breathed fire around the planet as Rosalina would part the flames around her and her friends as the Fiery Dino Piranha charged at Ruby as she quickly dodged, but the Fiery Dino Piranha swung his tail and clobbered Ruby head on, sending her flying back.
"RUBY!" Pit yelled as Ruby was knocked unconscious from the hit as it rushed at her, but suddenly a white light appeared to blind Fiery Dino Piranha as Summer came out of the light and slashed at it to send it back.
"Not my daughter!" Summer glared, readying her scythe as Rosalina came running over and started to heal up Ruby as Fiery Dino Piranha breathed fire at Summer but she swiftly summoned a white shield to block the attack, but the attack would have her take a step back from the full force of the attack. It was then that Pit jumped in with his Guardian Orbitars and reflected the flames back to the Fiery Dino Piranha.
"I got your back!" Pit said as Summer nodded as Reimu would fire Yin Yang Orbs to get his attention as it turned around and charged at Reimu, but she flew out of the way as Byleth and Daisy would rush over as they would both slug it in the gut hard enough for it to cough out a Power Star and a Red Chaos Emerald. The Fiery Dino Piranha let out a groan as a result and shook it off, and then proceeded to lick Byleth and Daisy in gratitude.

"…Wait… what?" Pit wondered.
"Oh! I get it!" A voice said as a bright light appeared as Viridi walked out. "I was about to come help you guys but apparently he had a stomach ache." She said as Reimu picked up the Power Star and the Chaos Emerald, where the White Comet disappeared and then a Power Star flew over to them. "But who would put an Emerald and a Power Star in his belly…" She wondered. "First the Dino Piranha and now his brother? Mmmph…"
"I might have an idea." Rosalina said. "It could be Bowser and Eggman."
Viridi's eye twitched. "Oh, THEM. Why am I not freakin' surprised!" She groaned as she saw Reimu staring at her quizzically. "Uh… can I help you?"
"Huh… I wasn't expecting someone so small." Reimu said.
"If you think I'm a child, I'm not." Viridi said with a hint of irritation in her voice.
"Oookay, I wasn't going that route…" Reimu sweatdropped as Viridi would look at the Fiery Piranha Plant and would speak to it in its own language as it responded back with growls and grunts.
"Ah, I see… he says he thanks you for getting rid of the source that was making him angry. Also considers you guys friends."
"Whoa whoa WHOA! Time out!" Pit said. "You can understand Piranha Plants?"
"And they can understand you too, so watch it, buster." Viridi shot back, causing Pit to stiffen.
"Uh… noted!"
"Anyway, I'm gonna go take this guy in. See you guys later." Viridi said as she disappeared with the Fiery Piranha Plant.
"Uuugh…" Ruby groaned as she woke up, seeing her head was on Rosalina's lap. "So comfy… oh, hi Rosie…"
"Hey." Rosalina said softly as Ruby would turn her head and saw Summer approach her.
"Oh, hey mom…" Ruby smiled. "When did you get here?"
"Just a minute ago." Summer said, helping her up as Pit took the other Power Star. "Come on, let's go." She said as they flew off together.
At Snow Cap Galaxy…
Dorothea and Zwei landed on the ground. "1600 Star Bits is a bit much." She muttered as she walked over and picked up a Green Shell as she walked over and threw it at the treasure chest where a Launch Star appeared, then the two hopped in and flew off to the Snow Cap Planet where three Star Bunnies waited for them.
"Hey there boiyoing! Try to catch us!" The Star Bunny said and disappeared into the snow.
"Oh dear, three bunnies disappeared on a planet covered in snow. Whatever shall I do?" Dorothea snarkily asked as she clapped her hands together and planted her hands on the ground, where flames shot around her hands and melted all the snow, uncovering two Star Bunnies as the Bunnies looked on in bewilderment. "Sic 'em boy!" She ordered as Zwei rushed at the Star Bunnies while Dorothea noticed some blue tiles and walked over to step on them, uncovering the last Star Bunny as Zwei would tackle it and had all three bunnies in his mouth, holding them by the ears.
"I can't believe you caught us all!" The Star Bunny said and pulled out a Power Star as Zwei dropped the Star Bunnies and pranced over to Dorothea.
"Oooh, if you weren't Ruby's dog, I'd happily adopt you and Byleth and I would totally give you lots of loves~!" Dorothea smiled as Zwei licked her face, causing her to giggle as she grabbed the Power Star and flew off.
At Matter Splatter Galaxy…
BGM: Space Fantasy (Super Mario Galaxy)
Hiyoko, Nyx and Blake landed on a platform. "Well, this is… different." Hiyoko said.
"Yeah, but at least it's something unique." Blake said.
"Definitely." Nyx agreed as they walked through the planet with the help of the droplets, as Nyx got a bit curious and fired an arrow through the disappearing ground, seeing it fly off into the abyss. "Just as I thought…" She said.
"That's good to know." Hiyoko said as they made their way toward the Warp Pipe and made their way to the next area where they would see some water droplets jumping between walls as Blake pulled out her Shadow Whip and grabbed on to a ledge where Hiyoko and Nyx grabbed on to her whip as they worked their way up and then once they climbed up, Blake pulled the whip away as they made their way to the Warp Pipe and found themselves in a new area that contained a Spring Mushroom. With curiosity, she grabbed the Spring Mushroom and absorbed it where she front flipped and transformed.
With her hairstyle changing to a bun held by a Kagai Kanazushi giving the appearance of a silver X, Hiyoko's kimono changed to a pale blue color with golden circuitry patterns with a crimson red obi. On her zori sandals were three spikes each, and under her kimono was a pair of steel gray tights with a coiling spring pattern around each pantleg. "Is the front flipping necessary?" Blake wondered.
"Gotta look cool transforming!" Hiyoko said.
Nyx shrugged. "She's not wrong." She said as they climbed their way toward the rising planet as Hiyoko would use her magnetism to launch herself into the air as Nyx would fire a few rope arrows as she and Blake climbed up, only for Hiyoko to grab them and fly them up to a Warp Pipe where they hopped in.
"Thanks." Blake said with a nod.
"You're welcome!" Hiyoko smiled as they walked their way through the final area as the platforms appeared through the light and at one point, a fork in the road appeared as Hiyoko went to the left and saw nothing appearing while Blake and Nyx walked the other way. Hiyoko squatted down and then launched herself high into the air to make her way over to the other side safely, but fell once she overshot. "Whoops!" She said, using her electromagnetism to correct herself and landed safely on the platform. "Phew!"
"Nice!" Nyx grinned.
"Heh, could you imagine if you couldn't control the mushroom?" Hiyoko snarked as they made their way over and collected the Power Star. "Got it!"
"Now let's go." Blake said as they flew off.

Back at Toy Time Galaxy…
Pyrrha landed on the ground next to Gloria who was lying on her back. "Alright, I'm here. What'ya need?"
"Lati Lati Lati." Gloria explaimed, but Pyrrha tilted her head. Ooops. She thought as she raised a finger and texted Pyrrha where Pyrrha pulled out her scroll.
This side of the planet has fockin' dark matter. I ain't going near it after I heard the horror stories JINX shared.
"Oh, so that unnerved you and you didn't want to go near it." Pyrrha said as Gloria nodded. "But you can fly, right? You're basically a Latias."
I don't fockin' care. I ain't going near it, regardless of me flying over it.
Pyrrha chuckled. "Very well." She said, aiming her hand and pulled the purple coins toward them as a Power Star quickly appeared after collecting a hundred.
Gloria smiled as she took it and hugged Pyrrha before they both flew off together.
Back at the Observatory…
BGM: Rosalina in the Observatory 3
One by one, everyone returned as Jade saw everyone coming back. "Took ya long enough. I was in the middle of a nap." Jade teased.
"And I was joining her!" Dorothea said with Zwei barking.
"Heheheh… those galaxies were something else." Jaune said as Dorothea happily walked over to hug Byleth, but pulled away.
"Ooof! Why do you smell like plant breath?" Dorothea gagged.
"Long story…" Byleth sweatdropped as she got drenched in water as she turned over to see Nitori smiling innocently. "Thanks."
"You're welcome!" Nitori smiled as Pyrrha and Gloria landed on the ground, and right on cue, Palutena would use her magic on Gloria.
"Phew, thanks lass!" Gloria smiled and then heard another alarm as she turned to see three Purple Comets showing up in Dreadnought, Melty Molten and Deep Dark. "Agh, more of them?!" She said as she flew toward the Garden to get them.
"Well, at least we can take it easy for a bit." Yang said, when suddenly the alarm sounded. "Or not!"
"This one's different… we're being invaded!" Polari exclaimed as they saw the Egg Mobile flying directly toward them.

"It's Eggman!" Ruby exclaimed.
"What's he doing here?!" Nora asked as the Egg Mobile landed, then Eggman hopped out with Orbot and Cubot.
"Hello there." Eggman greeted.
"YOU!" Penny yelled as she aimed her blades directly at Eggman. "You have some NERVE coming here after what you did with R3-B7!"
"Hold it. I come in peace." Eggman said. "In fact, I am invoking parley."
"Parley? What the heck is that?" Marisa asked.
"Basically it's a temporary truce." Rosalina explained.
"Exactly. Now Penny, put your weapons down. I just came here to talk." Eggman said as Penny let out a grumble and put her blades away.
"I thought that was only with pirates." Luigi said.
"Apparently not." Mario shrugged.
"Alright, so what do you want to talk about?" Rosalina asked.
"I came here to inform you, against my pride… that you were right."
"…Huh? About what?" Rosalina wondered.
"About how you were right. You claimed that seven Grand Stars weren't enough to hold a new galaxy steady." He explained as Orbot and Cubot pulled out a machine. "We have made a grave miscalculation. It turns out that making a new Galaxy with so little Grand Stars has the ill effect of the galaxy collapsing." He said, as Cubot pressed a button to show off the massive planet. "We were making progress on our galaxy, in fact, we were near completion. It wasn't until my defeat when I noticed something looked a little bit off. When I decided to scan it… my concerns came true."
"And what have you concluded?"
"That this galaxy at the center of the universe is at imminent collapse… and all of us are in grave danger. If we do not do something right away, our universe will be destroyed."
"Ha!" Knuckles scoffed. "And why should we believe you?" He folded his arms. "You've tricked us too many times for us to believe your lies."
"Correction, he tricked you too many times." Sonic said, earning a glare from Knuckles.
"If you do not believe me, then I believe Flyboy will convince you." Eggman said as Tails walked over and decided to do some calculations as he let out a gasp.
"He's right! Bowser's galaxy is completely unstable! This thing collapses and we're all in massive trouble!" He turned to the others. "It's not a matter of "if", but "when".
"How much trouble are we in?" Qrow asked.
"No corner of the universe is safe from this collapse. The whole universe will be destroyed, and all of us will be taken with it." Eggman said gravely.
BGM: Fifth Laboratory (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)
"You gotta be shitting me…" Hiyoko whispered in horror.
"The whole universe?!" Church yelled.
"No…" Ruby took a step back, her hands over her mouth in shock. "No… the… the whole universe?!" Tears formed in her eyes as she immediately turned around and buried her face in Summer's shoulder.
"None of us are safe…" Yang quietly said, leaning on Tai for support before she could collapse.
"Mama mia…" Mario quietly said as Luigi fainted on the spot.
"You gotta be kidding me!" Nora exclaimed in frustration as Jaune and Pyrrha looked worriedly at each other and reached for each other's hands.
"Rrrgh… dammit…" Qrow growled.
"There's no way…" Byleth whispered as Dorothea would latch on to Byleth and bury herself in her chest.
"All our adventuring… leads to this?!" Weiss said, nearly falling at the news. "Mom… Winter… Whitley… Klein…" She said, nearly tearing up.
"No… no no no no… I did NOT hear that right!" Pit said, his hands over his head.
Rosalina clenched her fists, approaching Eggman and grabbed him by the collar. "I told you that would happen and you didn't even hesitate. Now the universe is about to be destroyed because of your recklessness!"
"You didn't even stop me."
"Yeah, because you and Bowser invaded my home and took them from me while I was dealing with Bowser and his minions!" She shot back. "Now that you came crawling back and told us this, I have to clean up YOUR mess!"

Suddenly, a loud guitar riff echoed through the Observatory as they turned to Ibuki. "Alright, everyone chill!" Ibuki said. "Yes, the universe is gonna get destroyed, and that's pretty scary… but Ibuki has a feeling that deep down, we'll all be okay somehow!"
"How can you be so calm about this?!" Ruby exclaimed.
"Because Ibuki knows what it's like to fall into despair. We made it out okay in the end… and if Hiyoko-chan, Ibuki and her friends can make it out of this despair A-Okay, then there's no need to fret! Ibuki is strongly determined to believe that we'll all be okay!"
"More importantly, how do you know we'll be okay?" Washington asked.
"Don't question it," Hiyoko flatly snarked, more or less coming to terms with the thanatophobia that came with Eggman's dire news.
"We gotta keep our heads up high!" Ibuki said. "No need for despairing and gloating, we can get out okay!"
"Guys, Ibuki is right." Sonic said. "We can't just stand here and wait for the world to end. We still got a Koopa King to take down. Besides, I'm sure there's someway we can reverse it… then we can give it a shot."
"There is one possibility…" Rosalina said under her breath. "I don't like it, but it's a shot I'm willing to take."
"So, you're suggesting we team up with you in order to stop this." Palutena said, as she was calm about it. "You do know Bowser doesn't take kindly to betrayal."
"It is a risk I am willing to take." Eggman said. "If it means saving this universe, I will do what I can."
"We must prepare for the upcoming fight. It's going to be-" An alarm sounded, catching Rosalina's attention. "NOW what?" She wondered.
"Up there!" Reimu pointed as they saw R3-B7 flying toward them… only to crash into the ground and slide to a halt.
"R3-B7!" Penny exclaimed as R3-B7 struggled to get up.
"Nnngh…" She groaned.
"She's badly damaged." Carolina observed and pulled out her Plasma Rifles. "I'll make this quick."
"NO!" Penny got between them. "Don't hurt her!"
"Penny, what are you doing? Move! She's a danger to everyone here!" Carolina said. "Do you not remember what she did to you?"
"It was in no fault of her own!" Penny said and then went on to explain what happened at Toy Time.
"Why should we believe you on that?" Washington asked.
"Because she is telling the truth." Eggman said as they turned to him. "I activated Frenzy Mode on her and it took a massive toll on her body when she came back. It strained her programming."
"Yes, and it was irreparable. She has days, maybe hours to live." Orbot said. "If we make it that far before the universe collapses, that is!"
R3-B7 slowly rose from the ground. "I do not… have much time left…" R3-B7 said. "Penny… you must save me."
"From what?" Penny asked. "I do not kno-"
"You have to save me… by killing me."
"WHAT?!"
Sonic closed his eyes. "Just like what happened with Gamma."
"No… no, I can't do that!" Penny said. "There has to be another way!"
"There is no other way… my system is failing as we speak. Penny… please… you have to be the one to do it."
"No… No no no!" Penny turned her head. "I can't! I don't want to harm a fellow robot! You're just like me, R3-B7! We were built for different purposes, but we can be more than that! And while it may be true that I'm good friends with Mega Man and ROB, there's just… I can't bring myself to harm you!"
"Do it, Penny." Eggman said. "R3-B7 has no purpose left. She is just a prototype after all. She's useless."
"DON'T SAY THAT!" Penny yelled. "R3-B7 is more than-"
"Penny… please…" R3-B7 said as Penny turned to her. "I'm begging you… it is to save my life. You will be sparing me from a slow painful death." She spread her arms out.
"But-"
"…I'll be okay. It will be a merciful death…"
Penny clenched her fists as her blades came out and aimed at R3-B7, but she looked away. Her blades aimed directly at R3-B7 as they charged up… but Penny refused to fire them. "Rrrgh… what is your true purpose, R3-B7?!" She said, looking back at her. "Tell me!"
"My true purpose… I still do not have an answer to that. But I do know it is not working for Dr. Eggman anymore… but my purpose is irrelevant when I am near death."
"No… don't say that…" Penny whispered, unaware of Eggman walking toward Ruby and taking the Cyan Wisp from her as he walked over and shoved the Cyan Wisp into Penny's body, where she could see her blades forming into one large blade and then before Penny could try to stop it, the laser fired and engulfed R3-B7 on the spot. "NO!" Penny screamed as the laser dissipated as R3-B7 started to collapse.

Everyone stared on in shock over what Eggman had done. They saw her body falling apart, including her legs. Ruby trembled in rage and marched straight to Eggman, grabbing his collar in a fit of rage that was eerily like her sister.
" WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" She yelled at him as the Cyan Wisp came out of Penny's body and angrily shook its fist at him.
"Even if I didn't do it, I was planning on scrapping her anyway. I merely made use of the resources I had at my disposal." He said, slapping her hand away while doing so.
"Rrrgh..." Ruby let out a growl, still giving him an intense glare.
"No... no no no..." Penny knelt down and gently cradled R3-B7. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean-"
"Penny... wh-why risk so much for me?"
"Because it's like I said... you're just like me. We were built for different purposes, but we can be more than that. I... I wanted to be friends with you..."
"Friends...?" R3-B7 wondered before closing her eyes. "I... I would have liked that, Penny..." Her voice got deeper before shutting down, her body falling limp.
"R3-B7? Wake up... please, wake up! Wake up!" She pleaded, her voice trembling. "Please... R3-B7, wake up!" She begged, as artificial tears started forming in her eyes. No response came from R3-B7. "No... no! R3-B7!" She said as tears fell from her eyes and landed on R3-B7's lifeless body. She started to sob loudly as everyone looked at her with sadness in their eyes.
"I do not understand the big deal. She was just a prototype. There is nothing to be sad about." Eggman said. "She was meant to be destroyed."
"Rrrgh... HOW CAN YOU SAY SUCH A THING?!" Ruby snapped. "You built her!"
"All of my robots are meant to be destroyed, just like R3-B7. It is not a big deal for her to be killed."
"SHUT UP!" Penny yelled. "JUST SHUT UP! You programmed her to destroy Team RWBY, but she questioned her purpose once she met me! There is more to her than just destruction!"
"There is no need for attachment. Robots are only meant for serving, and when their purpose has been fulfilled, they get destroyed. R3-B7 was just a prototype. She was meant for the scrap heap anyway."
"How can you say such a thing to your creation? You are her father!" Penny spat.
"It is pointless. Robots are meant to be destroyed in the end, just like you."
"That is enough!" Palutena snapped. "How can you be so heartless?"
Eggman simply smirked and turned away from Penny. "We must make final preparations before we go to the center of the universe. Do what you have to, but the clock is counting down to the universe's demise." He said and walked off, ignoring Penny's hateful glare she was giving him.
Penny looked down, directly at R3-B7 and hugged her tightly. More artifical tears began to fall when a gentle hand touched her shoulder. She looked up and saw Ruby.
"Hey, don't listen to him. In a way, we can still save her."
"How?"
"She's just like you. She has a heart and soul." She said as Penny's eyes widened. "Her AI is probably still in there somewhere."
"Ruby..." Penny hugged her tightly, silently sobbing into her shoulder as Ruby returned the hug, as Susie came over and hugged Penny as well.
It was at this moment when Gloria came flying out of the Garden with three additional Power Stars. "Alright, that's all the purple comets with an additional 15 Power Stars!" Gloria said as she noticed the scene before her. "Uh... what'd I miss?"
Rarely do I ever fet misty eyed while writing, but this last scene really got my eyes watering...
