Ayo, ayo, ayo, it's ya boy, NarutoPlug, over here typing up this chapter instead of doing my homework! Just the usual, ya dig?

Got to say, doing this Fanfiction is really reliving since I've been thinking about this story for almost two years now. Being able to put it out there for you all to the read really makes me feel good.

I really don't have much to say for this intro. Just make sure to follow and favorite the story and myself as an author and leave a review. I really like this chapter and its kinda long. Not super long. But still a pretty decent amount. I'm sure you guys will love it. This is the chapter were you truly begin to understand Doguma as a character.

Thanks for reading.

Let's get back to the story.

Minus:Negative

Training

10 months until U.A. Entry Exam

Gerald locked the door to his apartment. "Alright! Another day-another dollar!"

"The American is coming out of you, father." Replied Doguma, dressed in his school uniform for the day.

"Ahah! I guess it is! Maybe I should drown it out with the sweet red-bean soup I'll have for lunch! The company vending machine really has the best in Japan, I promise you."

"Pops…I know you aren't planning on having one can of red-bean soup for lunch…I know that it takes more to fill you up. You should have cooked last night instead of staying up late to watch the game…"

"Acht-Listen, it was the Lakers!" screeched the older gentleman as the duo began walking down the stairway. "I had to stay up all night! Plus, I'll buy three soups and have them while working during my lunch break! Always remember, son: working harder gets your farther!"

"Mhmm….so inspirational….how positive….but overworking yourself and staying up late has to be bad for your health…how negative …"

"Oh, hush up." Snorted the man, "Just you wait when I'm sitting in the big office! Hmph! If I'm gonna help you pay for college, you're gonna need a successful Pops to ask for money when you don't have anymore! Are you gonna be saying how unhealthy my work habits are when you're broke and need money for laundry?"

"Oh no…" mumbled the 14-year old. He knew where this conversation was going.

"That is, if you are even going to college since your gonna become a big-time hero, huh? Right? Right?" said the man with a wide grin – nudging his son's side with his arm. "Ain't no need to go to college when you're a 20-year old making money saving people."

"….uh huh…"

"And when you become super famous, I'll become super famous for raising such an amazing son! And then corporate will see how amazing I am!" Evil chuckles grew from the older Freeman as he began plotting his future success. "Hehehe…and then they'll want me to become a representative of the company! And then I'll be offered a higher position than that! Hahahah! And then-

"Oh look, there's Izuku. I'll see you later, Tou-san."

"Uh-" Doguma dashed away from his father and moved towards Izuku who was waiting for him. "-a-alright, sochi! I'll be home late today because I've got a company dinner party to go to! Don't do anything stupid today at school!"

Doguma waved back at his father before focusing his attention on his best friend. "Good morning, Izuku."

"M-Morning!" stuttered Izuku with a quick bow. "How are you today?"

"Eh, the usual…but strangely optimistic…" he answered as the duo began their walk to school.

'Well, I'm feeling optimistic because I'll finally start working with Negative, but I can't tell him that…'

"…I think today's gonna be a good day…" he finished.

Izuku nodded in agreement. "I'm glad you're feeling that way! I'm guessing you didn't even study for the math test today since you're so good at it…"

"…I didn't even know we were having a test today honestly…" he admitted, "…but I'm not too worried. You shouldn't either, Izuku. You're pretty smart…"

The two schoolboys continued their banter as they walked to school as usual. It was their calming experience before the storm that was their middle school with Doguma being annoyed by the actions of his peers and teachers while Izuku had to deal with all the bullies that littered the school. Their morning walks was usually one of the better parts of the days with the best part of their day being when the two were together at home – far away from their daily school life.

The entire time, Doguma had Negative active. He could feel all the negative energy within the environment stored within every person he passed by, and even in Izuku and himself, but he waited for the right opportunity. He wanted to start off small using Negative's abilities. 'I just need to wait for the right opportunity to happen…'

The opportunity Doguma was waiting for happened when the best friends weren't too far away from the school grounds. Turning the corner, Izuku bumped into the turned back of one Jun Manjome, a member of Doguma's class, 3-B, and the tallest student in school. "Huh? What hit me?!"

"Ah! I-I'm sorry!" stuttered Izuku as he pulled himself from the ground. The nervousness within Izuku spiked as Jun's heavy glare pierced through Izuku's heart. Anxiety rolled off the greenette in waves, which Doguma felt. "I d-d-didn't see y-you and-a-and-

"Tch. The class quirkless bumping into me? What a disgrace."

Disgust was the most prevalent negative emotion coming Manjome – Doguma could feel it. "I don't want to hear all of that." Spat Manjome. Izuku flinched at the harsh tone. "Just watch where you're going and never touch me again, loser…."

Izuku dropped his head in both embarrassment and hurt.

Depression…

'Alright…enough of this.'

"…I see why they call you 'Deku'…" muttered Manjome as he turned back towards the school. He couldn't move far as a hand landed on his shoulder.

Doguma held a small glare – nothing to threatening, but also showing that the Minus:Negative user wasn't happy. He had a firm grip on Jun's shoulder and wasn't planning on letting it go without getting what he wanted first.

"What do you want, Freeman-baka?" sneered the taller teen as he looked down into Doguma's brown eyes without a once of fear. Doguma would make sure to change that soon. "Don't tell me you want to fight?"

"Apologize to Izuku…now."

It was a demand and not a question. By now, the trio had garnered the attention of a few onlookers approaching the school. Neither Doguma nor Jun cared much for them. Rather, Jun cracked a smile, holding back the laugh that threatened to escape his lips. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Nobody made such threats to him.

"Apologize? How funny. I didn't know you were a comedian, Freeman." He mocked, "And if you don't want me to break your funny bone, I'd suggest you get your hand off me."

Right now, the main negative emotion inside of Jun was arrogance and pride – almost as much as Bakugo's. Doguma hated pride purely because it reminded him of the ash-blonde bully. And now, somebody was doing the same thing Katsuki did to his best friend.

"I wasn't telling joke…"

-and with that, Negative began its magic. Doguma absorbed a large portion of Jun's pride and morphed it into fear. He also absorbed some of Izuku's fear and sent it into Jun. The feeling of absorbing negative energy gave Doguma a rush that felt good. It felt as if he were breaking free of a bondage that had his arms tied down.

"…so, apologize to Izuki…" he said as the energy exchange process was finished.

For some reason, Izuku felt a portion the fear within him leave, but he was still worried as he watched the interaction from the ground. He knew that Doguma never liked the kids that went to their school and hated how they picked on him. Doguma was very protective of Izuku – his fight with Bakugo a few days ago being proof of that – but he didn't want his best friend to get into any more trouble because of him. "W-wait. Do-Doguma, I'm fi-

Midoriya would have finished his statement had he not saw Jun's face. The taller teen looked visibly distraught. His arrogant-smirk was gone – his mouth slightly ajar. His black eyes were jittery as if he had just saw a ghost. Izuku could have sworn he could see Jun's body shaking.

Doguma released Jun from his grasp and stepped aside so that Jun was standing in front of the downed Izuku. "Uh….uh….." Jun was hesitant as his pride was beginning to develop again. Asking forgiveness from the school punching bag? He couldn't do something so embarrassing in front of-

"Now."

Doguma's slightly deep voice made Jun flinch as his pride was overcome by the fear of Doguma. Jun didn't know why he feared Doguma, but the feeling was overwhelming him as a dribble of sweat fell from his forehead to the ground. Glancing around, he saw everyone watching. If he apologized here to Izuku, he would be the talk of the school. But if he didn't then Doguma….

…Jun's breath hitched as Doguma's brown eyes felt like they were piercing through his body and stabbing his soul…the only way to get the imagined knife out of his body was to listen…

He realized there was no escaping this…

"I'm….I'm sorry…"

Small gasp could be heard from the student's that heard Jun's apology. Considered one of the strongest kids in school, seeing Jun surrender to Doguma's threat and apologize to Izuku was crazy to them.

Izuku himself was totally astonished by Jun's apology. Never in his life had any of his bullies apologized to him. While he never had much trouble from Jun since he always thought Izuku wasn't even worth his time, he'd never apologized for bullying him in the past. This was also the first time Doguma was there to protect him from a run-in with Jun, but how his best friend was handling it was completely different to how he would handle bullies in the past. Doguma was in total control of the situation, but he didn't look mad based on his outward appearance – just a little annoyed at the most.

What happened to his best friend?

"It….It's alright! Honest!" Izuku waved his hands in panic. "I-I-I was the one who bumped you! I'll be more careful next time!"

"…fine…" mumbled Jun as he turned away from Izuku and began to walk to the school.

Doguma's face looked neutral on the outside, but mentally, he was laughing up a storm. 'Ha! This is incredible! If I could use Negative like this, Izuku won't have to deal with as many bullies anymore!'

Yes, believed his first time using Negative for the next couple of months was a success. A small success, but nevertheless, success. And it felt good using Negative! It was like using a limb he never got to use before! Ahh, how positive!

Doguma snickered to himself…maybe he could do a little bit more with Negative….

"Hey, Manjome-san…"

Jun stopped mid-step as his breath hitched again. The spikey-haired teen slowly looked back to the smirking Doguma…

"…you forgot to pick Izuku from the ground. You are the one that knocked him down, right?"

Doguma could take being the center of attention.

He was used to having a lot of eyes on him because of his past escapades dealing with Bakugo, other school bullies that targeted Izuku, and that he was one of the smartest students in school. In a weird way, people both looked up to him as the cool, smart guy but also distances themselves away from him in fear of being caught up in a possible fight with Bakugo.

The two students hadn't fought since last week, but tensions were building. Bakugo still made fun of Izuku, but it wasn't to the point where Doguma would have to defend his best friend. Instead, a small but heavy glare from the dual negative energy-based quirk user was usually enough to shut the ash-blonde loudspeaker that was Bakugo.

Freeman and Bakugo also hardly saw each other since they were in different classes, with Bakugo being in Izuku's class of 3-A and Doguma being a 3-B student.

But they did have their run-ins…

Like now, as Doguma was washing his hands after relieving himself, one Katsuki Bakugo kicked opened the door to the bathroom. His hands were stuffed into the pockets of his slightly sagging pants and a glare was fixated on his face.

Brown met red for one second. Indifference and furry.

Doguma was the first to break their small staring contest and focused back on washing his hands.

"Tck!" Bakugo slowly stomped into the background, glaring a hole into the back of Doguma's head. Even with that, Doguma didn't acknowledge Katsuki's presence as he began to dry his hands.

Anger.

Hatred.

Disgust.

Doguma could feel the most prevalent negative emotions within Bakugo rushing within him like a tsunami. Doguma was sure that even without Negative, he would still be able to feel the negative energy within Bakugo as the negative energy-generator stood behind Doguma debating on whether he should jump at his nemesis.

It was like a drooling, hungry wolf baring its fangs at unmoving rabbit. The only thing that was holding Bakugo back was the certified harsh punishment his mother would give him since he was already on thin ice with the school. But he really wanted to do it…

'You think you're so cool, you fucking extra of all extras?! You don't know how much I want to knock you out and put you in your place! Fucking defending that worthless piece of shit Deku just proves that you're a worthless piece of shit too! Always in my way! I can't wait till'-

*Snap!*

Bakugo flinched at the sound of Doguma's fingers snapping. In that moment of disturbance the ash-blonde bully experienced, Doguma expertly absorbed half of the negative emotion within Bakugo and stored it within himself.

"You came to the bathroom to relieve yourself, not to look at me." Doguma threw away his paper towel and walked to the door, not even glancing at Katsuki once. "Such anger for one person…how negative…."

"…fuck you, extra…" growled Katsuki as he kicked one of the stalls open.

Doguma exited the bathroom with a smirk on his face. He knew, had he not absorbed Katsuki's anger, he would have pounced.

"Hehe….this is kinda fun…how positive…"

7 months until U.A. Entry Exam

"You know, Izuku…you've gotten….bulkier…"

"Hm?" said Doguma's emerald-haired friend as he stuffed himself with a hamburger. The two were currently at Musutafu Mall's food court. Izuku told him that he had a 'day off', though, Doguma still didn't know what that meant. He guessed it had something to do with Izuku's sudden growth of the small muscle he had and the fact that he had being lying about where he would run off to after school for the past three months. Doguma didn't pry for any more information from his friend. Whatever Izuku was doing, it was his own business.

…plus, it gave him some free time to train his own quirk by himself…

"Oh! Uh-uh…I-I've been doing a lot of pushups now!" stuttered Izuku in a very Izuku-like manner. Doguma didn't feel a spike of deceit from his friend, so he knew he wasn't lying. "I've been working out, yo-you know? The U.A. Entry Exam is co-coming up soon. I've got to be at my best if I want to gain entry to the hero course!"

"Such energy and productive use of time…how positive."

"Heh, thanks. I've been working really hard with All Mig-MYSELF! I'VE BEEN WORKING REALLY HARD ALL BY MYSELF! AHAHAHAHAHAAHA!"

Doguma didn't need to use Negative to know that his friend was lying…

Doguma calmly sipped on his milkshake as Izuku began sputtering, trying to come up with a cover story for his slip up. Again, it didn't really matter to Doguma that his friend was lying. He knew he was up to something. Izuku wasn't the greatest at keeping secrets, so only time would reveal what was truly happening with his friend.

It was Saturday, one of the few days Doguma ever got to hang out with Izuku for the past few months ever since his friend began 'training'. Izuku was wearing his classic 'T-shirt' t-shirt and cargo pants, along with his oversized red boots.

Doguma casual clothing was a bit more stylish. He wore a black, baggy windbreaker jacket with long jaw strings hanging down the sides of his stomach. The jacket was open, revealing his all-white t shirt. He wore dark navy-blue joggers and a pair of eye-catching orange, black and white sneakers.

"-andIreallyexcersiealotsothat'swhyI'vegottenmusclebutitsallfromworkingbymyselfandnotdoinganythingooutofordinaryand-

"It's alright, Izuku." chuckled Doguma, cutting off his friend and saving him from descending further into his muttering spree. "I believe you."

Deceit.

That was a lie.

Just another way for Doguma to accumulate negative energy…

The two continued to talk and laugh together – something they haven't able to do for a while. It was a good way to distract Doguma from the literal hundreds of negative energy sources that surrounded him. He could mess with the emotions of anybody around him and create a scene. That, or, on the smaller scale, scare the cashier at one of the restaurants to give him more fries. Free food always tasted better than bought food…

'Gah…stop it, Doguma…stealing is wrong…how negative…'

Doguma half-listened to Izuku ramble on about the latest hero news as he began scouting the area. Doguma was always very conscious of his surroundings. He didn't know where he picked up this wariness, but he was glad that he did. It helped him pick up small details that could mean a lot…

…like how that cute girl a few tables over was glancing at Izuku a few tables away…

…and how a baby was resting in his stroller was about to drop the teddy bear he clung to in his sleep…

…and the amount of massacre one lady that passed by had on…

…and the small shit stain on the back of one guy's pants as he marched into a gaming store…

…and the-

'Wait a second…let's go back a few steps…'

Doguma's brown eyes landed on a table to his right. It was at an angle where he could see them, but was slightly behind Izuku, so the emerald-haired child had no idea that a few tables away, a group of girls were giggling at one of their friends. She had a small amount of pink dust on her cheeks as she glanced at the side of Izuku's smiling face. Her friends giggled at her as she hid her face in embarrassment.

'Oh, this is interesting…'

Doguma took an extra-long sip of his milkshake, hardly even paying attention to Izuku's continuous hero ramble as he inspected the girl. She was cute, that was for sure. She had a plain, soft face and teal eyes. Her hair was teal as well, which was great! Maybe Izuku had a thing for greenettes since he was one himself. She wore black shirt, but that was all Doguma could tell as the table blocked off the rest of her body.

"-and then, All Might came crashing down and beat up all eight villains! Isn't that incredible?!"

Of course, Izuku was oblivious of what was happening just a few dozen feet away from him.

"Yeah. All Might is pretty cool. How positive." Right on time with the casual reply was Doguma as he began analyzing the situation.

But he hit a huge roadblock…that being Izuku himself.

In all his years of knowing his best friend, Doguma had only seen his friend talk to a handful of women. One out of that handful was Inko Midoriya, Izuku's mother and, in Doguma's opinion, the sweetest woman in the world. The rest of that handful were the female teachers that taught at their elementary and current school.

Doguma wouldn't say that Izuku was scared of women…..but Izuku was scared of women…His stuttering would almost quadruple, his fidgeting would triple, and he would sweat so much that Bakugo could become the greatest hero alive if he had Deku's endless supply of sweat when nervous. If that girl were to try to talk to Izuku….

"Izuku…" Doguma cut off Izuku's conversation with himself. "…there's a store I wish to see. Let's head on over."

"Ah-alright!" Of course, his great friend was cool with following Doguma to wherever as the duo began to leave the food court.

Doguma's plan: leave the food court for now. If the girls stayed there, then he would just keep this day in the back of his mind as a 'what would have happened if he introduced Izuku to mystery girl?' day. However, if they followed, then he would help Izuku out.

Doguma never had a girlfriend himself, but he knew how to talk to women. He's been hit on before. Doguma did consider himself a slightly attractive teen and he could talk to anybody. Negative almost acted as a mind reader in a way. If he said/did something wrong, he would be able to sense a person's negative emotional reaction to that. With that information, he'll adjust accordingly and say/do the right thing.

Negative really did have its perks…

…but Izuku didn't have this ability…or hardly any other social skills when dealing with women…

A few minutes of walking around the sneaker store, the same group of girls, along with mystery girl, entered the store.

'Seems like it's go time…'

"Hey, Izuku." Izuku perked up from the shoes he was inspecting at the call of his best friend. "You see that girl over there? She's cute, huh?"

Anxiety.

Izuku hadn't even looked at the girl yet but just the word 'girl' summoned a boat load of negative energy within his friend. 'Gosh, I knew it was bad but….but this is bad bad…'

"Uhh…" For the first time that day, Izuku and mystery girl's eyes met as Izuku followed Doguma's pointed finger. "Ye-y-y-yeah…" he stuttered while turning away from mystery girl. "She's c-c-cc-c—ccute…"

'Oh, dear god…'

"She seems to have friends too. Maybe we should talk to them?" he suggested, "Maybe they're cool? That one girl seems to be looking at you a lot."

"T-t-tta-talk? But….b-b-but what if…y-ya know…" Izuku began fidgeting with his fingers as his anxiety levels continued to grow, "..I…..I em...em-embarrass myself….."

Depression.

Self-loath.

"Don't worry about that…" Izuku looked up from his seated position as Doguma rested a calming hand on his shoulder. Izuku's eyes widened when he saw the rare, wide smile plastered on Doguma's face. "You'll be fine. I'm with you every step of the way."

For some reason, all the anxiety, worry, depression and self-loath vanished from within the emerald-haired teen. Doguma's smile reminded him of All Might's smile and, surprisingly, he felt confident. Izuku noticed that he would always feel better when he had the support of his best friend. Izuku would joke to himself that Doguma had a quirk that would specifically make him feel better whenever he was blue.

"O….okay." Izuku nodded with a smile of his own.

The duo walked over to the group and Doguma introduced themselves. Izuku gulped as he walked to the mystery girl and held out a hand.

"H-Hi. I'm Midoriya Izu-Izuku."

"Uuh…Hi!" The cute girl gave a soft smile as he grabbed Izuku's hand. "I'm Kuribo Luna."

'Is this what if feels like to be a proud father?' Doguma questioned himself. '….how positive…'

"You've got to get better when it comes to talking to girls."

"…sigh….I know…."

Everything was going well with Izuku and Luna….that was, until Doguma got distracted by an anime store and lost the two. While he and the group of girls he was with walked into the store, Izuku and Luna continued walking, too caught up in their conversation to notice that their group left them. Sadly, because Doguma wasn't there, he couldn't absorb Izuku's endless supply of nervousness that slowly returned over time…

"One moment, you're doing fine…the next moment, you spitting out random All Might facts, sweating up a river, and then scaring them off by mentioning your All Might collection….."

"….I know…." Grumbled Izuku as they walked out of the mall, "I'm sorry…."

Doguma sighed, running his hands through his twisted hair. "….don't even worry about, Izuku….you'll have your chance someday…plus, today was still a good day."

What Doguma didn't tell Izuku was that he used all the negative energy he absorbed from his friend and deposited it into a person with what Doguma assumed devious thoughts based on his negative energy of greed and selfishness. The would-be villain was so overcome with Izuku's nervous negative emotions that he abandoned his plan to rob a store in fear of being caught.

"How positive…" said Doguma.

"Uh? Did something happen that you saw was positive just now?"

"….No….I was just thinking about something positive from earlier…..I want another milkshake."

6 Months Until U.A. Entrance Exam

School had let out and Doguma was walking back to his apartment. He saw Izuku momentarily before the emerald-haired child ran off to wherever he went after school nowadays. Hopefully, his friend wasn't overworking himself…

Doguma decided to stop by a nearby mini mart for a few snacks. He noticed before he left the house that the house didn't have any of the snacks his father usually ate whenever he watched an American sports game, which was coming on tonight. Whenever his father didn't have any snacks to eat during his game, he'd get grouchy. For some reason, Gerald never went out to buy his own snacks when he eats them all. Instead, Doguma would buy them because he knew his father was a forgetful person.

Entering the mini mart, Doguma's eyes momentarily landed on the cashier. He knew the cashier because he had visited this mini mart before, and he knew that the cashier was the older brother of one of the students in his grade. Doguma didn't have the best reputation as many other parents of students have heard of his fights with Katsuki. It was to the point that many believe Doguma was a delinquent that was looking to start fights.

Of course, that was a lie, but he didn't care…

Sadly, Shintaro Asuma, the cashier on staff, heard of these lies and believed them. Asuma would be described as a scrawny, skinny and shy 19-year old college student with brown haired the covered his eyes to any passerby that saw him. While he was taller than Doguma, Asuma knew he wouldn't be able to stop the junior high student if he were to get physical with him. He knew that the infamous Bakugo child was bad, but if there was anybody that could face off against the ash-blonde teen, then they had to be just as bad in Asuma's opinion.

And, sadly for Asuma, Doguma knew just what Asuma was thinking based off his quirk, Negative. He could feel the fear, anxiety, and trepidation within Asuma. The college student built up an image of Doguma's character from rumors and half-truths instead of basing his character from interaction with him. If that's what he already thought of Doguma…

…why not use that to his advantage?

The closer Doguma got to Asuma, the higher his negative emotions increased. Asuma was literally trembling as Doguma calmly set down his chosen snacks on the counter for Asuma to scan. Asuma did so quietly, not even greeting the child. 'Gosh, why is he so scary?' thought the skinny man as he finished scanning and bagging Doguma's treats.

"…th-th-that'll…b-be 1,050¥ yen, please…"

Doguma knew how much the cost of his snacks would be before coming to the counter. He also had enough money to pay for the cost.

…but he didn't feel like paying for it….

"Oh my….it…it looks like I don't have enough to pay…" Doguma faked cried as a small grin grew on his face, "That really does suck, hmm?"

"U..uh-uhuhh…..p..p-pa-pay….payment is re-re-required f-f-f-for…p-purchase…"

Oh yeah. Doguma knew he had this guy…

"But I don't really have the yen for it now…maybe I should come back tomorrow and pay you? You trust me, right?"

Asuma was sweating buckets as a massive amount of fear filled his soul. He felt as if he was on the edge of hyperventilating. His hold on reality wavered as he stared into Doguma's brown eyes that felt endless. The drum of his heart beating against his chest filled Asuma's head as the outside world became nonexistent. The blank face of Doguma Freeman, the rumored delinquent of Aldera Junior High, was etched into Asuma's mind – the small knowing grin on Doguma's face telling Asuma he knew what he was doing and that he knew he could get away with it.

Asuma could hardly talk. It was as if a rock had lodge itself in his throat. However, he somehow manage to croak out, "…I…..t..t-t….tr-trust…..you…."

"Really? How positive." Without paying, Doguma gathered his bags and stepped away from the counter. "Thanks a lot. I'll be sure to pay you back tomorrow. Have a good day." He waved as he exited the mini mart.

As soon as Doguma left, a large lumpsum of the fear Asuma felt suddenly disappeared. Asuma gripped his chest as he felt his heart's immediate calm with Doguma's exit. The past two minutes of his life thoroughly confused him. How could his body go through such emotional highs and then back to neutral?

"What…..was that?.." Asuma mumbled to himself in confusion.

The next day, Asuma was surprised when Doguma came back to pay for his snacks…

5 Months Until U.A. Entrance Exam

Yoga.

'What a calming experience…' thought Doguma as he rested in the downward dog position.

Over the course of his life, Doguma realized that in order to keep his emotions in check (because Negative can begin to betray him if his emotions ran wild) that he needed to find hobbies that kept his emotions in check and strayed away from things could possibly aggravate him.

Loud music is annoying. Classical music is soothing.

Reality TV is annoying. Informative documentaries and anime are fun.

Curse words are negative. Motivational words are positive.

Miso Soup sucks. Yakitori is delicious.

…and because he's eaten at Izuku's house a lot in his life…

…Katsudon is okay…but amazing when Inko makes it.

Yoga was one of the few things Doguma picked up over the years to keep his emotions in check while taking care of his body. Doguma found it enjoyable, healthy, gave him amazing balance, and helped him become in-tune with his body and emotions.

How positive…

"Good work, everyone." said the yoga instructor Doguma was watching on his laptop. "I'm sure we all got in some good stretches. Let's meet up next week for a more advanced yoga session. Take care!"

"She's so cool. How positive…" Doguma muttered to himself as he rolled up his yoga mat and placed it in his closet. "I wonder what other yoga possess she has that counts as advanced? I'm sure the-

"WHHHEWWWW! LET'S GO LEBRON! I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU HE'D DO IT!"

Annoyance.

Doguma sighed, calming himself down. His father was in the living room watching his American sports again. Basketball, this time. Doguma had gotten used to his Tou-san's loud yelling over the years, but this time was a bit different because-

"WOAH, GERALD-SAN! THIS IS GREAT!"

"HOW TALL ARE THESE PEOPLE?"

"THEY DO THIS ALL TIME IN AMERICA, FREEMAN-SENPAI?"

Sadly, Doguma's pops had brought over some friends from work to watch the game with him. With more people, came more annoying noises Doguma had to deal with.

Doguma tried reading after his finished yoga session, but couldn't block out the noise…

…sleeping wasn't an option as he tried to block off the noise by covering his ears with his pillow…

…even in the shower, Doguma could hear their screeches…

"Adults…always getting on my nerves…how negative…" mumbled Doguma as walked down the hallway to the kitchen. He wore his casual white shirt and blue shorts while a red towel sat on top of his head, drying off his twist.

Doguma ignored the screeching banshees in favor for opening the refrigerator to grab some grapes to eat. Grapes tasted good. 'How positive…'

Gerald must have saw his son enter the kitchen because he called out to the boy. "Sochi! Can you get me some of those chips in the cabinet? We're running low over here!"

Doguma sighed for what felt like the hundredth time that hour. "Sure, Pops…" he mumbled with disinterest.

Arriving with the bag, Doguma set it on the table in the middle of the various seats in the living room. It was at this moment Doguma caught something from the corner of his eye.

Two of the people his father brought home – a male and a female.

Fear. Annoyance. Disgust. Discomfort.

Perversion. Lust. Selfishness.

The fear was coming from the woman while the lustful emotions was emitting from the male. Both looked like normal humans, so they either didn't have mutant-type quirks, or they were quirkless. That didn't really matter to Doguma, though. What he did notice was how close the man was to the woman and he felt how she was uncomfortable. The man's hand was resting on side of her thigh.

She looked uncomfortable but was trying to hide it – not wanting to cause a scene and ruin the good time the others were having.

The pervert man was smiling, eyes on the game, but internally, he was lusting after her.

Doguma's father and the other people – two men and another woman – had no idea what was going on…

"Hey…"

Both the man and woman glanced at Doguma. With the way Doguma was turned, the duo were the only ones in the room that could see Doguma's small glare.

The man's breath hitched as a paralyzing fear overcame him. It was so sudden that nobody noticed the change in the man's appearance. His smile left, replaced with an aghast look as the man stared at Doguma with wide eyes. Everything within his body told him to get away from the child: to run away as far as possible from the demon in front of him.

He felt liked an injured rabbit looking into the bloody jaws of a wolf-no, a cheetah. A lion. A bear. An indescribable monstrosity that had a hold of his body and wouldn't let go until he was devoured by his bloody-stained fangs. Nothing could stop it. Nothing would come to save him.

"Hey…"

Just as quick did the man get lost of the illusion of his own fear, he returned to the world of the living. Doguma was staring at him with indifference, as if his life was just as insignificant as an annoying bug flying around Doguma…taking up his space in the world.

"Stop that…"

It was a command. Not a question. Not a suggestion. The fear within the once perverted, now fear-stricken man forced him to scoot away from the surprised woman. She was silent throughout the four seconds Doguma first spoke to them.

"…and don't do it again. Say you're sorry."

"R-r-rright…." The man stole a glance at the woman he was prying on. "I'm sorry, Asuka-ch..I...I mean Tenjoin-san…."

"Uhh…it's…it's okay…" the newly named Asuka Tenjoin responded.

"Eh?" Gerald glanced at the trio not too far from him. "You guys good over there?"

"Yes, Tou-san. I just ask them if they wanted anything from kitchen to eat."

"Oh. Thanks for being so welcoming, son. Glad I'm raising you right."

Doguma left the room after that, but he didn't absorb the fear within the man. Instead, he let it marinate in his mind and soul. That fear would be used as a remainder for whenever he had similar thought to any other woman…

…and that he would forever fear Doguma for the rest of his life.

4 Months Until U.A. Entrance Exam

"So why do you do it?"

Doguma asked the young shrine maiden he ran into on his walk back home from school. The woman had to be in her early twenties and was dressed as most traditional miko's. She had long black hair and was quite pleasing to the eye. However, that isn't what attracted Doguma to the woman.

It was the doubt and uncertainty that drew him to her…

"Well…" she began, "…being a miko is all I know. I've been here at the shrine all my life. I've never even been outside of Musutafu before." She giggled, though, it lacked happiness. "It's just…who I was chosen to be…"

"…chosen…but not chose to be, correct?"

Again, another spike of doubt. 'I can work with this.'

"I…I guess so…" she mumbled.

"So, let's say you were never born into the life of a shrine maiden….what would you like to do with your life?"

"I…..I….I wished to be a doctor…." She admitted, "I've…Growing up, I never experienced a lot of the popular television shows because of the intense training to becoming a maiden….but sometimes, there would be times I would sneak off and walk through the city. In the mall….in this electronic store, they would have televisions displayed….and every Wednesday, new episodes of this popular doctor show would play…"

"…I would go there every Wednesday in awe…" she continued, unknowingly affected by Doguma's Negative as he added more negative energy into her body. Her doubts about the shrine life continued to the grow with every second. "But…I knew that was a life I could never live…because my life had already been predetermined for me…without my own consideration or input…."

"Hmmm…" hummed the teenaged-emotion manipulator, "Not having control of your own life…how negative. It's almost as if you were told how to be yourself…to deny these dreams and bottle them up in the abyss of your conscious…that seems quite aggravating to me…how negative…"

The maiden sulked, gripping the sides of her hakama in distress. "It….it really is…"

"Then, why don't you go out into the world and discover yourself?" suggested Doguma, standing up from the bench they were seated at, "The lifestyle of mikos are slowly dying out…ever since the birth of quirks, most religious beliefs and lifestyles have faltered. I'm sure you've noticed that not many people go to shrines to respect the spirits like how your elders proclaimed, no?"

"…well…that is true…"

"…and you've had these dreams of being in the medical field since you were a child. You are in your twenties now and those thoughts have yet to leave, which probably means that they never will. For the rest of your life, you'll be regretting the decision of never pursuing what you truly wanted to become in life."

The maiden's eyes widened in realization as she thought over Doguma's haunting words. "..b-but….but I can't leave! I don't have anywhere to go! I!..." she looked down at the ground, clearly confused. "…I don't even know how to be myself…or who that person is…"

"I say you find out for yourself. You've been listening to other people how to live a life you never chose to live in the first place. How negative." Doguma shook his head in disapproval. "Live for yourself, Maiden-san. Tell your elders your deepest wants. If they truly love you…. they'll let you go. Maybe even help you achieve your goal. They owe you that much for owning over twenty years of your life."

The maiden didn't see the knowing smirk etched on Doguma's face as he saw fruits of his labor becoming real. Negative was proving again and again the control he could attain over people with just the right words and a bit of negative emotion manipulation.

"You…..you're right…." Muttered the maiden, "My goodness! You're right!"

The maiden stood up: reinvigorated and revitalized with life for the first time in her life. "You are right! I'm…I'm going to do it!"

The young maiden grabbed both of Doguma's hands and frantic shook them in happiness. "Thank you so much, child! Oh-Oh my! I don't even know your name, child!" she cried out. "Please, grace me with the name of the person that has opened my eyes for the first time in my life!"

Doguma laughed, happy that he had helped the woman…through questionable means of manipulating her emotions and affecting her decision-making process. "No problem. And my name is Freeman Doguma…and I'm nobody special….just a child that knows a little too much…"

"Well, thank you, Freeman-san. Maybe, one day in the future, we'll meet again with me as a doctor and you…as whatever you wish to be in your life!"

Those words made Doguma's smile falter, but only for a second. The unnamed maiden didn't see it, but she had created doubt within Doguma with her own words. While he knew she didn't mean any harm…

…Doguma still didn't know what he wanted to be in his life…

…and was using Negative really the right way to help this woman?

"Ah-yes, I hope so as well." Not even breaking character in the slightest, Doguma wished the woman well as they went their separate ways.

One leaving with a new purpose…

The other leaving not knowing his purpose…

3 Months Until U.A. Entrance Exam

"So, this is what you've doing for the past couple of months."

Izuku Midorya jumped in fright, almost dropped the abandoned sink he was holding onto his feet. "D-D-Doguma!" he screeched.

Sitting on top of an old washer with one leg resting on the other was Izuku's best friend, Freeman Doguma. Said child was munching on a bag of chips as his judgmental eyes stared at Izuku, catching him red handed. "Yup." He said with a weak wave, "I finally decided to see what you were up to all this time. What a surprise that those reports about some child cleaning up the beach was you all this time."

Izuku was mentally panicking. Not because he was caught by his best friend: because not too far away, hiding behind a pile of trash was All Might, Izuku's teacher. He had been the one that gave Izuku the idea to clean the beach to train his body to handle One for All. He couldn't let anyone see him in his regular form just yet because that would give out his identity.

'Just keep calm, Young Midoriya!' Toshinori prayed that his protégé could keep face and hide his presence from what Izuku describe his 'super-smart-awesome best friend'.

"UUhhhhhhhh-ye-yea! I'm just cleaning up the beach-hahahaha!" laughed Izuku, slowly inching in front of the pile of trash where his instructor was hiding. "Yup! Nothing suspicious going on! Hahahaha!"

Doguma's blank face of disbelief was setting Izuku on edge as he was sweating up a river. 'Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no…"

'Yea, so he's lying…' Doguma glanced at the trash pile behind Izuku and could feel the negative energy source behind it, meaning that there was a person hiding behind it. 'But…..if Izuku's hiding this person for some reason….then I guess I'll solve this case later….'

"I guess, Izuku…" sighed Doguma, causing Izuku to release a sigh of breath. "So, your moving all the trash from the beach to clean up and as a form of exercise? How positive."

"Ye-yeah! I've been really trying to clear up the beach and it has helped my body gain muscle a ton!"

"Mmhmm…" Doguma rubbed his chin in thought, "So, where are you putting all of this trash then?"

"Ack-…." Izuku froze, unable to answer that question because he honestly had no idea where All Might would take the trash at.

"And why is there a white pickup truck with a lot of the beach's trash on it? I know you don't have a driver's license, don't know how to drive, or even own a truck…"

"…." Izuku couldn't come up with a lie. He was caught.

'Gosh, this kid is smart!' All Might from his hiding spot.

"You know what…." Doguma sighed, dropping down from his seat, "Forget it…it's none of my business anyway." Izuku had to hold back his sigh of relief, not wanting to look like he was hiding something (even though Doguma already knew he was lying). "So….do you have a date your aiming to have everything cleared?"

"Ah-yes!" nodded the emerald-haired teen, "It has to be the day before the U.A. Entrance Exam! I want to have everything cleared by then!"

"Hmm…well…lifting heavy stuff really isn't my strong point…but do you need any help?"

"No! No, no, no! I don't need any help! I want to do this by myself! To test and see if I really deserve….to become a hero."

Doguma scoffed as he began walking away, "I've already told you, Izuku: you're more than worthy enough to become a hero…more than most people. Have fun."

"Thanks, Doguma. Maybe we can hang out next week?"

Doguma looked back at his best friend with a calm smile. "Sure…and if we met any girls, try not to do what you did last time, hehe…"

"He-hey, kid…we're not supposed to be up here. If my boss-

"Shut up."

The large security guard flinched at Doguma's harsh tone. The man had been dosed with negativity and Doguma made the man let him enter the building to get an overlooking shot of the beach Izuku was working on.

His brown eyes narrowed as he peered through the large windows overlooking Takoba Municipal Beach Park. He watched as Izuku talked to a blonde-haired man that looked like he had seen better days. The man was almost like a zombie with how thin he was and the random spats of blood he would do. His hairstyle was very peculiar as well, but Doguma wasn't one to judge.

"Just what are you up to, Izuku…" muttered Doguma.

Doguma turned away from the window, passing by the scared security guard without a glance. "You won't tell anyone I was here. If you do…I'll come back for you. Do you understand?"

"Ye-yes! Yes, I understand!" the security guard bowed to the teen in fright.

Doguma left the building and headed back into town. Since Izuku looked like he was doing so well with his training, maybe it's time to see just how far he can take Negative…

2 Months Until U.A. Entrance Exam

Doguma found that the best people to use Negative on were people at the park.

Musutafu Park was a really nice place. People would come to the park after a stressful day of work or school. Teenagers with inner turmoil would come to the park. Homeless people would hide out at the park at night. Drunkards would use the park as a short cut to the train.

Literally a negative emotion fiesta.

'But why a fiesta and not just a gathering or something?...eh, fiesta is more fun to say…'

He's used Negative on many people-on all types of people. The results have been outstanding to the dual-quirk child. The past months has helped Doguma understand part of him he never explored or exercise in his life. He also worked on his Minus quirk as well, but Negative had been his main focus over the past 8 months.

…and now, after walking through the park, Doguma sensed a lump sum of negative energy….way more than he's ever felt before.

'Woah…' thought Doguma as he licked his ice cream bar he got from a vendor not to far away. Sitting at a park bench was a man. He had on a black suit and had a briefcase resting at his feet, leading Doguma to assume that the man was an officer worker.

Sadness. Depression.

'This guy looks really messed up…..which means he's easy..'

The distressed man looked up from his hands once he heard a set of feet stop beside him. He saw the child, licking an ice cream, staring down at him with interest.

"You seem like you're going through something…" began Doguma, "I know you don't know me, but maybe letting a stranger listen to your problems could make you feel better?"

"….Heh….I doubt it…" muttered the man.

Distrust.

"Nobody can help me out…" he finished, "Telling anybody would solve anything…"

"Not true." Said Doguma as he absorbed the distrust within the mysterious man, making him look more welcoming to the stranger. "I've talked my problems to a stranger before. It kinda helped out…I won't blurt your troubles to anybody, Stranger-san…"

With his distrust surprisingly gone, the man slowly scooted to the side, allowing Doguma to take a seat next to him.

The two sat in silence for a while. Doguma kept his eyes on his ice cream while the man stared off in the distance – lost in the many moving pieces of the city. The world around them continued while their small circle was nothing significant: their own portion of the world that hasn't been invaded by any outside influences.

"I….didn't get the promotion I should have gotten…" began the man with a sad laugh, "I've been….working my ass off…trying my hardest to get recognized by my bosses…but they passed me up for some new guy coming in…said he had more experience in the position and is pretty good at what he does…."

"Mhmm…"

"…and that really sucks….especially since I been putting up a face at work to hide my real problems…."

"Really now? Like what?"

"Like my 9-year old kid not being mine."

'Woah…' though Doguma as he stared at the man in surprise. He was not expecting that. "That….sucks…"

"Heh…I know…" continued the man, "Apparently, my wife has been cheating on me our entire relationship….she admitted the only reason why she stayed with me was because she was pregnant and that she knew I'd come to money with my career…heh…what a joke…"

"That…yea, that's deep." Replied the teen, "….so…..do you plan on leaving?"

"….leave?" questioned the man with a sideways glance to the teen.

"Yeah, leave. It's obvious nobody recognizes your talents or appreciates you as a person." said Doguma, "They don't appreciate you. Why still work for a company that doesn't appreciate one of their, and this is me assuming, best employees…"

"I am their best employee…" growled the man.

"…and a wife whose only reason for staying with you is because of your job. She's made you unknowingly raise a child that isn't even yours. She's unfaithful and doesn't recognize how much you obviously love her…"

"…..right…because I do…."

"…so why do those people continue to benefit off your hard work when they don't even appreciate you?" countered Doguma, continually fueling the man's doubt with Negative, "If you ask me…they don't deserve you."

Honestly, while Doguma was manipulating the man's feelings with Negative, he truly believed what he was saying was right. 'This guy really seems pretty nice…and he's being taken advantage of by everyone in his life. They really don't deserve him.'

He didn't want to see this man suffer anymore. Instead, he wanted him to elevate over the pain and continue as an independent, hard-working man. The stranger honestly reminded Doguma of his own father since his father had his own dreams of climbing the corporate ladder: always hard working and giving 110% every day. If anybody reminded him of his father, then they must be a good person thought the teen.

"….yeah….you're right…" muttered the man, though, Doguma was confused as to why his negative-emotion levels weren't lowering: instead, they were increasing. "…they don't deserve me…."

"….right….they don't…" Doguma replied unsurely. Something bad was growing within the man, but Doguma didn't understand what.

"They…they don't deserve me….heh…thanks, kid. I guess talking to a stranger does help clear things up."

There were few people around in the park. It was closer to the later hours in the afternoon and people were heading home. There were only a few other people in the park, but none close to Doguma and his new….'project'…

The distressed man grabbed his briefcase and stood from his seat. Doguma followed his lead. "You've really helped out, kid. I think I know what I need to do now…take care…."

The man waved goodbye to Doguma, but the dual-quirk user didn't wave back. Instead, Doguma was frozen to the ground at he stared at his latest project walk away. For the first time in his life, Doguma felt the most negative emotion he had ever felt in life.

Despair.

The feeling of ultimate hopelessness. When a person had nothing else to believe in, giving up all hope of any positive outcome.

'How negative…'

'Very, very, very negative…'

…and the mystery man's despair only grew by the second, filling his entire body to the point that Doguma was almost positive that he could still see the man's body with Negative if he had his eyes closed. There wasn't an ounce of positive energy within the man to combat the negative.

Doguma was worried for the man. This had never happened before in his training of Negative. The man's uncontrollable amount of negative energy was something new to Doguma. Now, since Doguma was worried for the man with such a large and strong amount of negative energy, he would have already absorbed it to avoid anything bad happening to the man. However…

…what would happen to Doguma if he absorbed such strong negative energy?

'This amount of negative energy is dangerous, even for me…' thought the child, his own fear increasing by the second at the thought of having to absorb such despair, '…I…I can't handle that amount of despair….bu-but what about him? What's going to happen to the man?!...Where did he go?!'

Sure enough, Doguma was so caught up in his own thoughts that he had lost sight of the man.

At that moment….

There were no thoughts in Doguma's head…

Doguma's body moved on its own….

He ran.

It didn't take long for Doguma to find the man.

His strong output of negative energy was easy for Doguma's Negative to locate within the city.

…and Doguma found the main climbing over the edge of bridge…

…if he fell, he would land on the tracks of an incoming subway train.

"STOP!"

Before the man could fall, Doguma absorbed ALL the negative energy within the mystery man that was about to commit suicide.

The lack of negative energy made the man hesitant in jumping over the edge. That gave Doguma enough time to rush over. "Stop! Stop!"

"Ah-" The man slipped in his moment of hesitation – his right-hand losing grip of the handle.

The loud honk of the oncoming train filled the unnamed man's ears and he closed his eyes, awaiting death as he realized his mistake…

"Gotcha!"

"Wha-" He looked up to see a crying Doguma gripping his right arm over the ledge, holding on to dear life. "Kid…"

"WHEN I SAID THEY DIDN'T DESERVE YOU, I DIDN'T MEAN THEY DESERVED BETTER THAN YOU!" cried out Doguma as the usually quiet child released every emotion bottled inside of him. "I MEANT THAT THEY DIDN'T DESERVE SOMEONE AS GREAT AS YOU! YOU'RE AMAZING! YOU'VE DONE SO MUCH FOR THE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE AND THEY DON'T APPRECIATE YOU! YOU! THEY DON'T DESERVE YOU!"

"Kid…." The unnamed man watched as his Doguma tried to pull him up. By now, the train had already passed by, so the man would only suffer bad injuries instead of death if he were to fall now. "…thanks….."

Through Doguma's tears, he saw the man flash a beaming smile that Doguma had only seen on All Might when he saved someone. "You're right! I can keep going on! Thanks for saving me! You know, you should be a hero one day!"

Despair.

Despair-Despair-Despair-Despair-Despair-Despair.

It was 11:00pm.

Doguma made sure that Izuku and that weird zombie man that he was with wasn't at the beach at this hour.

"GAh!" Doguma gripped the sides of his face as he tried to deal with the immense negativity that he had stored within himself. Thoughts of death, suicide, giving up, self-harm – everything in the book was plaguing his mind and driving himself crazy.

It was his own form of torture. He knew what he did today was wrong. He went too far. This was his own punishment that he had to deal with. He couldn't let anyone else suffer such powerful negative energy, so Doguma decided to deal with it himself. If he lived tonight, then good. If he succumbed to the negative energy….then so be it.

…it made sense to him, at least…

"How negative! How NEGATIVE!" Doguma shouted as he continuously bashed his head into abandoned washer. He was on his knees, screeching his hard out as he tried to quell the disgusting thoughts in his head.

"Negative!"

*THUNK!*

"Negative!"

*THUNK!*

Negative!"

*THUNK!*

"NEGATIVE!"

*THUNK!*

"HOW NEGATIVE!"

The mid-body of the old washer was dented with a dripping red stain. Doguma's face was covered in blood that ran from his forehead. He couldn't even open his eyes that were puffy from his crying from all the blood leaking from his head.

Fear.

Despair.

Disgust.

Depression.

Anguish.

Hopelessness.

Unhappiness.

Misery.

Sorrow.

"Erk-aaaaAAAHHHHHH!" he shouted as he could still feel his negative emotions growing. All his training controlling his emotions were all but forgotten by the powerful emotions taking over. If he didn't do something soon, he would lose all sanity.

"Stop, stop, stop, stop!" he yelled, violently shaking his head as tried to focus on anything other than what he was feeling. He kicked at the sand, threw around random appliances, ripped his shirt in half – anything to keep his mind in check.

"Stop it, Doguma! Stop!...you can-"

His fingertips sparked to life as Minus made an uncontrollable entrance as negatively charged laser beams lit up the sky as he shot his hands up. "AAAAHHH! Fucking stop! Stop!"

He couldn't even turn off Minus as the continuous outpour of his lasers flashed through the air. To avoid detection, Doguma pointed his hands downward – now his lasers were burning through the sand without mercy. "Ha…hah….ha….t-the…the water…"

He ran to the edge of the beach where the sand met water and aimed his lasers there. Now, there wouldn't be any evidence of his quirk and he could blast Minus to his heart's content. He noticed that his negative energy levels were slowly declining since Minus fed off his stored negative-energy…

"O-okay…" he muttered to himself. Slowly, Doguma laid his back on the ground with his fingers steadily aimed at the ocean waters. His sanity was slowly coming back to him, he just had to release it all at a constant pace.

"….I…I might be here for a while…."

"Finally….."

Doguma's fingertips felt singed, but he didn't want to look at them to make sure. He had finally ejected all the dangerous negative energy from within him. He was safe…for now..

Slowly, Doguma reached into his pocket, hissing in pain when his fingers touched his phone. "That's…gonna take a while to heal…" he muttered.

The injury on his forehead had ceased bleeding a while ago, but the teen looked a mess with a layer of dried blood covering his entire face and some of his neck. He was shirtless and sprawled out on the sand like a dead body.

Looking at his reflection with his phone screen, Doguma saw how lifeless his eyes were – his brown eyes seeming darker than usual and holding no light in them at all. He flinched at the bright light his phone gave off as he turned it on to check the time.

"2:57…..a.m…." he mumbled.

Scrolling through his phone, Doguma called upon the man he could depend on during crisis like the one he was going on and put his phone on speaker. He didn't have enough energy to hold his phone, so he let it rested it on his bare chest and let it ring.

"…ring…ring…..ring…..rin-

"BOY, DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?! IT'S FUCKING 3 IN THE MORNING! WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU DOING UP SO LATE! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?! THE ONLY REASON WHY YOU SHOULD BE UP SO LATE IS IF YOU'RE WITH A GIRL….wait a second-YOU'RE TOO YOUNG TO BE DOING THAT KIND OF THING! MAYBE WHEN YOU'RE LIKE 16 OR 35, BUT NOT AT FUCKING 14! OHOHOHOHOH, IF I WAS STILL LIVING IN AMERICA, I'D PUT YOU OVER MY LEG AND WHOOP THE TEARS OUTTA YOU! YOU MUST'VE FORGOTTEN I'M FROM THE SOUTH! NOW WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

Honestly, Doguma's father was one of a kind.

"T-Tou-san…..I had another….incident…"

"Incident? Did you piss ya pants at the mall or some-…Oh…..Oh no! Where are you, son?! Are you okay?"

"I'm…..okay now…but I can't move…I'm too tired. I'm at the beach…past all of the garbage…it was the only private place nearby…."

"It's alright, sochi. I'm on the way now. Stay awake and don't end the call! Are you hurt?"

"My…forehead busted wide open….and fingertips feel like bacon…if that makes any sense…"

"Dear god…you're making jokes? It must be really bad! Just hang on son!"

Doguma held back his chuckle. It honestly hurt to even talk, so laughing wasn't an option. Instead, he quietly looked up at the stars while ignoring his father ranting over the phone over him. He began looking back on the past 8 months, analyzing what he's done with Negative.

He realized he did both good and bad things with Negative. Of course, he's helped people, but invading their mental and putting emotions within their mind isn't ethical, he concluded. It really sucked because he didn't have a teacher to help him with Negative. Instead, he risked his livelihood and morality with every use of Negative…and it didn't help that his other quirk, Minus, only worked with cohesion with Negative.

"…Minus:Negative…." Doguma whispered to himself, "…heh….I really am the opposite of Plus Ultra…..and if that's true…..then becoming a hero isn't in my future…"

The Day Before the U.A. Entrance Exam

"Th-thank you. Come again."

Doguma waved at Asuma, the store clerk he had used Negative on a few months prior. He had stopped by to buy his father snacks after the man had run out and never restocked. Gerald Freeman without snacks to eat while watching the game wasn't a nice Gerald Freeman: Doguma knew from experience…

It was a little later in the day. The sky was darkening and the Musutafu night life was beginning to buzz. Doguma, still in his school uniform for the day, exited the mini-mart and began his streak home, ignoring any passerby's in favor of getting home as soon as possible.

'….there…..there is so much negativity…' The child thought. He could feel the negativity from people near him and negative sources he couldn't see. It would be easy for him to just tweak someone's negativity the right way – just one little push was all he needed….

…but he wasn't going to do it…he hadn't in a while…

Ever since the incident with the man almost committing suicide and momentarily losing his sanity after the overdose he received from the man, Doguma hadn't used Negative on anyone since. What happened that day scared Doguma to the depths of his soul. The fact that he had access to such control over people was mentally straining to the 14-year old. Every day, he was tempted to continue his past actions: everybody around him always had some level of negative energy within them he could use.

However….he never did anything with it. Doguma always kept Negative active…but he never used Negative. He kept himself in a constant state of temptation, but he made sure to ALWAYS deny the urge to use Negative….his power was too cursed to use at all…

'It's literally everywhere….everywhere….' he thought to himself as he trudged on. His was nearing his apartment complex by now. Maybe, after dropping off his father's snacks, he could go over to Izuku's house to hang out? 'Yeah…that sounds nice. Hopefully, he isn't too worried about the test tomorrow. I'm sure he'll do great…Izuku's smart enough to come up with a plan to victory…if he gets over that anxiety of his, heh…'

….A random pulsation of negative energy caught Doguma's unconscious eye…

Fear.

It was almost like he was hypnotized when Negative locked onto the interesting taste of fear he just had. The feeling was similar to when he felt the negative energy associated to the book that was under his father's bed all those years ago. Doguma didn't even realize that he passed by his apartment complex as he was put into a trance. The negative energy he sensed was calling out to him. His brown-eyes dulled as Negative took control and led him closer to the negative energy source he felt.

His quirk led him deeper and deeper into Musutafu. The sky continued to grow darker until the sun was no longer visible. Doguma had traveled from one side of the Musutafu to the other, walking deeper and deeper into the more….'edgy'…side of town…

Doguma's quirk led the child to an old, abandoned building. It looked like an old storage facility and the closest way inside was a nearby garage door that was partially open. Doguma, in his zombie-like state, ducked under the door and entered the facility.

The building was two stories tall with windows near the top. Moonlight illuminated the building in certain spots and Doguma's body phased through them before entering the darkened patches. His mind was focused on one thing and one thing only: what was the source? What was so negative that called him here…'wait….how did I get here?'

Dropping his bags filled with snacks, Doguma's brown eyes widened as he snapped out of his funk. "What the…." He muttered as he glanced around. Realization hit him and he grit his teeth in frustration. He had let Negative get the better of him. "…..damn it….I cursed….how negative…"

In his frustration was when Doguma saw it – the source of negative energy that called him here….

A dead body…

Doguma stood over the dead both with a blank face. His body was hidden in the shadows while the body a few feet in front of him, laying in random debris and a pool of blood was illuminated by a ray of moonlight that leaked into the building.

Doguma's analytical mind went to work as he glanced at the dead body. '….male…looks about my age…maybe a year older…' he started, '…has on a school uniform…maybe a 1st-year in high school…or a 3rd year in junior high…not too sure…pale skin…dark purple and blue hair…and a very weird hairstyle choice?' Doguma raised an eyebrow at the dead child's choice of hairstyle. His hair was shaped like tentacles. Doguma shrugged his shoulders. "It doesn't matter. I'm not one to judge."

Kneeling, Doguma reached into the dead student's pocket to find some type of identification. "Hmm…Kastle…Reginald? Weird hair and weird name…but I'm not one to judge…" he repeated, "15 years old….went to another school in the city…."

Checking his injuries, Kastle's body was battered all around. Both of his eyes were swollen shut, numerous gashes on his body and most likely died from bleeding out Doguma assumed from the large pool of blood originating from his body. This was a murder.

Satisfied with his analysis, Doguma whipped out his phone to call the police. He had a feeling as to where he was. He'd just say that he was out strolling when he heard something suspicious and found Kastle-san's dead body here. "Tou-san isn't gonna like me coming home so late…" he muttered to himself as he dialed for the police, "…I always find myself in these awkward scenarios…"

Anger.

Arrogance.

Selfishness.

Greed.

Four different negative sources were outside the facility. Doguma pocketed his dialed phone as the garage door was forced open by one hand. 'Great…..just great…'

"-and make sure burn your cloths when we get rid of the body. We don't want-

The four people that walked in stopped once they saw the blank-faced Doguma standing near the kid they killed. The group of four were teenagers themselves, noticed Doguma. 'Delinquents that went too far…'

One of the teens: dark-skinned, black hair tied into a small ponytail, black eyes, wore a sleeves black hoodie, green shorts, an all-black bandana around his forehead '…and six arms…interesting…', was the first to speak. "Hey! What the fuck! Look! There's a guy there!"

"Looks like somebodies found our little project." Chuckled the grey-haired teen that had….another head hanging off his back? 'What have I gotten myself into…' thought Doguma. "Seems like we've got more trash to take out."

"So, you guys killed him?" asked Doguma, hoping to get a confirmation so that the police that was, hopefully, listening in his pocket could hear the conversation and track his location. "How negative…"

"That pussy could've still been alive if he wasn't talking down on our name and invading our fucking terf!" shouted the only girl in the group. She was a red head wearing an interesting cap to tame her wild hair. She wore a slightly oversized red T-shirt with skin-tight, black spandex shorts. A neon-orange fanny pack draped down from her right shoulder to the bottom left side of her stomach. She wore black shoes slightly stained red – most likely from Reginald's blood. She was cute and Doguma would have commented on her outfit if the situation was different. "That fuckin' Shark had it coming to em'!"

'Shark? Maybe a nickname…' assumed Doguma. "So, you killed him because he was annoying? How negative."

"He wasn't nice, so we had to off him." Said the tallest member of the group. He had a menacing scowl with his orange eyes, matching his orange hair separated to three tufts on his head. He wore a jean-jacket over a white shirt and brown pants. Doguma took note of that this one was a little on the pudgier side. 'He maybe the slowest out of the group…'

"Maybe if he had some manners, we'd just beat him up instead of killing him." Continued the tallest member, "It was his time…plus, we've got to prove that we mean business in the streets."

"That's right, Jirobo." Jumped in the grey-haired kid with another head on his back. The white shirt and blue jeans were stained a lot with blood. Doguma guessed that he's the one that dealt the most damage to Shark's body. "Keeping our reputation is number one. Killing someone was a new experience, but it's not something I won't do again…especially when some rat comes in and finds the trash we left."

"It's your unlucky day, fella." Grinned the six-armed teen. "Sakon said you've got to go, so you've got to go. Maybe you can provide sum' more excitement than Shark-baka did!"

"Tayuya-chan, you stay back if we need any help." Said Jirobo as he, Sakon and Kidomaru circled him.

"Shut the fuck up, fatso! I'll fight whenever the hell I want to fight!" she shouted, but she did stay back.

Doguma's body was unusually calm for someone in his predicament. To his right was a Jirobo, left was Kidomaru, in front of him was Sakon, and behind him was a dead body. 'Not really the best position to be in, but I guess that's what I get for using Negative…' he mentally sighed in frustration, 'But now that I'm here, I'll have to get myself out of this. First things first: try to identify their quirks and then develop counter-strats against them. Just think of what Izuku would do.'

Doguma had picked up some of Izuku's quirk analysis skills over the years, so he was confident that he could survive the coming fight.

"Ready or not…" Doguma's brown eyes darted to his left as Kidomaru ran towards him…

"Here I come!" he shouted as a spat out a spider web from his mouth.

Doguma got over his initial shock of a spider web spat from Kidomaru's mouth and entered battle mode. Purple light sparked from the fingertips of his left hand and swiped up. His laser beams burnt through the spider web with ease as the dissected strands fell to his sides.

"What?!" Kidomaru skidded to a halt, not expecting his threads to be dealt with so quickly. Now with an opening, Doguma dashed forward. He surprised himself with his own speed as he planted his fist into Kidomaru's cheek. "Gahh!"

'Behind.'

Doguma ignored the pain his fist felt and focused on the feeling of Jirobo behind him because of Negative still being active – the orange-haired teen's negative emotion inside of him acted like a sensor for him. He easily side-stepped Jirobo's grab attempt. Jirobo's arrogance switched for shock as he passed by Doguma…and then received an elbow to the face. "Grk!"

Doguma dropped down and swept Jirobo's unbalanced feet with a low kick. The heavy-set delinquent took a hard fall on the concrete ground of the storage facility and Doguma used his body as a springboard, jumping off his back and turning back towards Kidomaru. By now, the spider-child had recovered and shot small clumps of web at Doguma.

While his father had trained Doguma to hold his hands out in a specific way to shoot, Doguma's accuracy had improved so much over the years that he could hold his fingers like a gun and still have spot-on aim. A barrage of purple bullets shined through the air and hit every single clump of web by the time Doguma landed back on the ground – a weak smirk on his face.

"Ah! What the hell!? This guy's no minor character! He's a boss fight!" warned the Kidomaru.

Sakon "tch" in annoyance as he ran up to Doguma's back. "Yeah, we'll see!"

'Not today.' Thought Doguma as he ran away from Sakon. Sakon was quicker than he looked, but Doguma used the random debris in floor as obstacles to create distance all while shooting weak laser bullets at Sakon.

"Fuck, that stings!" Sakon growled as he used his arms to block Doguma's bullets. "Stop running away!"

'So far, it seems as if Sakon and Jirobo are physical fighters while the Kidomaru guy is long range.' Deducted Doguma as he continually shot Sakon with his bullets and Kidomaru's small clumps of web from afar. 'Not sure what Jirobo and Sakon's quirks are, but Kidomaru's seems to be something similar to a spider quirk…but for some reason his skin was very hard when I punched it….maybe his spider quirk has a way he can form an armor similar to an actual spider's exoskeleton? Interesting…'

"I can't catch him! Jirobo! Throw him off!" shouted Sakon.

Jirobo huffed and with an impressive display of power, slammed his arms on the ground. A violent vibration went through the ground – similar to a small earthquake. Doguma, now unbalanced, wasn't expecting it and fell into a pile of rubble. "Kidomaru!"

"Gotcha!" shouted the spider kid as he spat out a giant spider web that trapped Doguma. "Hehe! Looks like that was easy."

"He was beating y'alls asses just two seconds ago!" screeched Tayuya from her position away from the group, "Don't drop your guard now, baka!"

"Language, Tayuya-chan."

"Stop fucking calling me '-chan', fatass!"

'Geez, she really has a mouth on her…how negative…' sweat dropped Doguma, unbothered by his trapped position. He knew burn through the webs with ease – he was waiting for his foes to drop his guard. 'But the big guy's quirk seems to be able to create vibrations through the ground. I'll be sure to keep my balance next time…'

Kidomaru, Jirobo and Sakon stood over the 'trapped' Doguma. Kidomaru applied more web to make sure Doguma couldn't escape. "Alright, how are we getting rid of him?"

"Let me absorb his energy first." Said Jirobo, surprising the listening Doguma, "He must have a lot of stamina by the way he was fighting." He said as he grabbed Doguma's left ankle. "Vitality Drain will enjoy this…"

'Wait! Vitality Drain?! Does that mean-' A wave of fatigue hit Doguma as he felt his stamina being drained by Jirobo. 'Dang it…his quirk must allow him to steal someone's stamina through physical touch to strengthen himself! NO!'

A bright laser burned through Kidomaru's web and signed Jirobo's hand. "Ergg-that does sting." He said as he pulled his hand away from Doguma to avoid being burnt.

In an instant, lasers from all of Doguma's fingers burned through the web that held him down. The trio surrounding him jumped away – afraid of getting burned by the light show. "We've got to find a way to get him down!" shouted Sakon.

"Sadly, for you all…" muttered Doguma as he stood back up. His eyes burned with determination as his fingers flashed to life, "…that won't be happening anymore."

"We'll see about that!" shouted Sakon and he and Jirobo engaged.

Despite some of his stamina being stolen away, Doguma was motivated to see this fight through. Purple light burst from his fingers in continuous stream – all of them aimed at Sakon and Jirobo. The duo dodged the blast, but Doguma stayed on them, separating the two with his dangerous lasers.

Jirobo grunted as he tried to dodge one laser only to get nicked by another. Sakon was doing better, being quicker than the heavier delinquent, but he couldn't get in close to Doguma. "Damn it…we may need to do something drastic, Ukon…"

Doguma didn't miss out on the 'Ukon'. The entire time, Doguma had Negative active while blasting Minus and realized, while hardly noticeable, Sakon had another negative energy source within him. And with the extra appendage hanging behind him, it led Doguma to assume that he had a shared body. 'Not that it's confirmed, but he may be able to split himself up.' he thought while unconsciously switching from attacking Jirobo to the flying spider webs in the air, then back to Jirobo, '…gotta watch out for that…'

"Kidomaru! Amp it up! I've got a plan!"

"You've got it!" Kidomaru leaned back momentarily before spitting out an arrow of all things at Doguma.

At the same time, Sakon swerved to the right, drawing Doguma's laser with him. Sakon's body split in half and another person, Ukon, ran towards Doguma with the opening he had. "Time to die!" shouted the Sakon look alike as he rushed at the laser-quirk user.

It was as if Doguma's mind was a supercomputer, figuring out a way to avoid death at all cost. The adrenaline in him was addicting and he couldn't deny he was having fun. He wasn't even panicking with the possibility of death nearing him. 'This is kind of fun…'

Like an expert battler, Doguma ceased the lasers on his right hand that was attacking Jirobo and spun away from the flying arrow. That gave Ukon enough time to grab Doguma by the throat when the teen spun back around. A sick grin grew on Ukon's face, believing to have Doguma caught. "You're a dead man now."

"I don't think so."

Doguma palmed Ukon's chest and activated Minus. He weakened his lasers because he didn't want to burn five holes through Ukon, but it was inevitable that Ukon would feel pain from Doguma's touch as his laser burned through his skin. "GAahh!" he shouted in pain.

Ukon released Doguma, wanting to get away, but Doguma had other plans as he grabbed Ukon's arm and turned around. 'You guys make it too easy…' he though as he slunk Ukon's surprisingly light body over his shoulder…

…and hit the approaching Jirobo. The orange-haired teen wasn't prepared for an entire body to be flung at him as he and Ukon came crashing down to the ground.

The Minus:Negative user quickly turned around and caught Sakon's punch that was aimed for his head. "What…" Sakon said with utter astonishment, "Do…do you have eyes on the back of your head?!"

"Heh…might as well…"

A kick to the chest sent Sakon tumbling, but he didn't expect spider webs to catch his feet, planting him to the ground. Kidomaru quickly ran up to Doguma and captured him with his six arms, bear hugging him to his chest. "Hahaha! Gotcha now! I've got to say, you were a pretty fun character to face, but no dice. How stupid to actually try to win a 5v1 brawl!"

Doguma struggled against Kidomaru's grip, but the spider-child wasn't letting go, giving Sakon, Ukon and Jirobo time to recover. "Jeez, this kid really knows how to hit…" grumbled Sakon, holding his stomach in pain. "You guys okay?" he wheezed.

"AHAHAHHAHAHA!" Tayuya laughed at her teammates, "You losers really were getting the shit kicked out of you! I like this guy! You fucking pussies need to learn how to fight if you're getting beat up by one kid!"

"Language, Tayuya-chan."

"Stop calling me '-chan', fatass! I'm tired of telling you!"

Kidomaru attention was pulled away from the banshee-redhead that was his teammate when the illumination of purple light lit up the corner of his eye. "Eh? What do you think you doing?" questioned the spider-teen as Doguma pressed his fingers into the sides of Kidomaru's stomach. "You think you can hurt me with your weak little lasers? Oh no, while my webs couldn't handle the hot temperature, my Armor of Sticky Gold can most definitely block out you little light show! Nice try! Now it's time to die!"

Doguma sighed in displeasure. He really didn't want to hurt anybody, but they were trying to kill him. He closed his eyes as he amped the intensity of his Minus quirk. "I'm sorry I had to do this…"

"Eh?"

Kidomaru's eyes widened as 10 lasers burst out his body. Doguma's lasers easily bypassed the armor with its blazing temperatures concentrated into a single beam along with the rest of Kidomaru's body- small smoke lines fizzled from his burn skin. "Ah….that smarts….he really is a boss…" he groaned as he released Doguma while descending to the ground.

"Ki..Kidomaru-kun!" cried out Jirobo in shock.

"Holy fuck…" muttered Tayuya in in disbelief. "Nobody's ever hurt spider freak…this guy's the real deal…"

"god DAMN IT!" shouted a frustrated Sakon. Ukon was next to his brother, scowling at the plain faced Doguma – unbothered at the fact that he just skewered a teenager with his lasers. "This baka just won't go down!"

"What are we supposed to do?" questioned Ukon to anyone listening, "We can't get near him and we're down a teammate. Kido's gonna need those wounds tended: asap."

Sakon growled as he stared into Doguma uncaring eyes. The kid wasn't even scared of them! He was looking at them as if they were an annoyance rather than a threat to his life. 'Fucking goody two shoes thinks he's got us in a corner, eh? We'll we've still got one more thing we can do…'

"Tayuya! Do it!" ordered Sakon.

"Tck…guess it's our only option…" she muttered as he opened her pack and whipped out a flute…

….only for it to fall to pieces as four different beams of purple light sliced through the instrument.

"No, thanks…" said Doguma, resting his right hand back to his side, "I don't want to deal with another quirk I don't know about. Sorry about the flute…"

"Ahh….my flute…" sputtered Tayuya as her inner rage skyrocketed. A fire of hatred was visible in her eyes as she charged at Doguma with the intent of clawing out his eyes. "MY FUCKING FLUTE YOU JACKASS!"

"No, Tayuya-chan!" shouted Jirobo, but the enraged girl wasn't focused on her teammate. She was only focused on killing Doguma for taking out her prized possession.

"I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU!" she shouted as she jumped at him. Doguma grabbed both of her arms and held them away. She was trying to slash at him with her nails but switched for a more offensive approach and headbutted his forehead with her own. "Take that!"

The headbutt definitely did the trick as Doguma was disoriented for a few seconds. "Gahh…" he groaned as he covered his head with his hands. He wasn't expecting such a crazed, unorganized attack like that.

Those seconds was enough for Kidomaru, who had patched up all the holes in his sides using his web, spat out a large glob of web that caught Doguma. "hehe…gotcha finally..." he muttered weakly.

"Ukon! His hands!" The twins used their agility to move to arms outward, pointing his hands to where they couldn't hit anyone with his quirk. "Jirobo!"

The heavy-set teen rushed over and grabbed Doguma's head. His quirk, Vitality Drain, quickly went to work and absorbed all of the stamina Doguma had until the dual-quirked teen was near unconscious. "I think we're good…" confirmed Jugo as he stood back up.

"Great…" huffed Sakon as his brother merged back in his body. "You really were a tough one, eh? Looks like Tayuya came in clutch with that random tackle she pulled off. Good looks, Tayuya."

"Fuck you…" Tayuya flicked off the white-haired teen, "I need a new flute. That ain't me asking, either. My fucking forehead hurts like a bitch…"

"Heh, you're forehead hurts? That guy put holes in my body…" chuckled Kidomaru as he slowly stood back up, "Be glad my web is multi-purpose, or I'd be bleeding all over the ground next to Shark. But at least we caught the boss…"

The team crowded around the downed Doguma. He was laying on this stomach, heavily disoriented. The world was spinning, and his consciousness was slipping. He couldn't move any part of his body nor active either of his quirks. '…dang it….I gues…guess…this is what I get…for having a..b….bad quirk….'

"You really did put up a fight…" laughed a tired Sakon as he stood over the downed Doguma. A confident smirk etched itself on his face as he watched the trapped child twitch. "…but I guess it wasn't enough, huh?!"

Doguma's silence made Sakon laugh with arrogance. "Ha! You don't even know what to say…or maybe you don't have enough energy to say anything at all! We'll maybe this-

"AGGAahh!" yelled Doguma as Sakon stomped on his right hand. He definitely heard the 'crunch' of his bones breaking.

"-will make you scream, eh?!" laughed Sakon at Doguma's howls.

"That's what you get for breaking my damn flute!" screeched Tayuya in a fit of rage. "Fuckin' piece of shit!"

"He…hey…hey guys…" wheezed out Kidomaru as he clutched his sides, "We need to off em' quick so that we can go…we've already…cough…been here for a while…"

"Kidomaru-kun's right." Said Jirobo in agreement. "We need to leave."

"No!" shouted Sakon. "This little bastard need to learn his PLACE!" He yelled as he stomped on Doguma's left hand.

"GRRa-AAAHHHH! AAHhhh…" hissed Doguma, the pain waking him back up. 'Y-yup….that's…broken…'

"Hehehehe…how's that feel you piece of shit?!" crackled Sakon, "Those damn lasers of yours were pretty troublesome, but it didn't matter in the end. You just had to walk in on our little project and now you've gotta die."

Sakon chuckled as he knelt down. His hand slowly inched down to Doguma's head as a sick grin grew on the white-haired teens face. "Guess your times up. Let me show you the other thing I can do with my quirk-

"POLICE! HANDS UP!"

The garage door was broken through as a muscular hero Doguma recognized as Death Arms burst through with ease. A barrage of policemen and woman with their guns dawned entered the abandoned facility and locked their focuses on Sakon, Tayuya, Kidomaru and Jirobo.

"Oh fuck…" muttered Tayuya, quickly putting her hands up.

"…..heh…." Kidomaru looked over to Doguma, focusing his eye on his pocket. The small shine of a phone glowed through his pants and Kidomaru put two and two together. "You are pretty smart…calling the cops beforehand…you didn't even tell us that you called the police. You were stalling….heh..hehehe…." The spider teen continued chuckling as he raised all six of his arms in surrender. "You really are a boss character kid…"

"Fuck….Fuck!" shouted Sakon as he raised his arms up along with Jirobo, clearly upset with how the situation turned for them.

One of the police officers moved over to Doguma. "Are you Freeman Doguma?" she asked him.

Doguma released a tired sigh as he nodded his head. The next 20 minutes were a blur as he was still suffering the effects of Jirobo's Vitality Drain quirk. Sakon/Ukon, Tayuya, Kidomaru and Jirobo were all arrested, and the police recovered Reginald's body. He gave his own testimony and his father came to the scene after being called by the police.

The dual-quirk user sighed again as he sat on the back of an ambulance truck. The doctor had wrapped up his injured fingers and popped any bones back into place. Only his index and middle fingers on his right hand and his left middle fingers were broken. His other fingers stung whenever he moved them. They were basically useless until they were healed. There was no way he'd be able to use Minus for a while…

The only fingers that weren't injured was his thumbs…

Again, Doguma sighed in distress as he stared as his wrapped-up fingers.

"The entry exam is tomorrow….isn't it…" he muttered.

..

Man, I really like Doguma….I'm glad I created him…

This chapter was a new experience for me. I've never typed a chapter up like this before. The format is really different. I hope you guys liked how the entire chapter is told form Doguma's standpoint as he leans how to use Negative and understands why his quirk could be considered 'dangerous' if anyone knew he had his quirk.

While related, both Izuku and Doguma's stories are different. I didn't want their story to be the same thing. Doguma is his own character and I hope this chapter showed that. He faces his own struggles that he can't go for help for in fear of being ostracized for having an 'evil' quirk. I really like how this chapter came out.

Remember to follow, fav and review. Next chapter is the U.A. Entrance Exam.

But yea, that's it for me.
