I know I said I would post the final chapter on Christmas Eve, but I was tired from work and spending time with family, so here it is the final chapter, thank you all for reading, I did want to add more just didn't have the time.

Chapter 6.

1 year later...

Pouring the coffee, JJ smiled feeling a pair of hands wrapped around her waist, feeling the stubble of his beard tickle her neck, JJ pulled away. "Babe"

"You love it really" Will smiled, kissing her cheek

"Henry is sat staring out the window, like a little puppy," Will said passing JJ the milk.

Shaking her head, JJ looked at him. "He's just excited, new house, his grandparents coming to visit for the first time and Christmas of course."

Will nodded. "Are you nervous?"

JJ nodded, "A little bit, but I love you and Henry and I think as challenging the last year has been, it's been one of the best years" JJ smiled

"I'll drink to that" Will smiled kissing her

"I love you" JJ smiled.

"I love you too" Will winked at her.

"I love you three" Henry yelled running into the room.

Both JJ and Will laughed. "We love you too buddy"

"Mommy, how much longer?" Henry asked.

"A couple of hours buddy, why don't you go finish tidying your room ok." JJ looked at him.

"Ok," Henry said walking away.

"I'm going to hate it when he starts refusing to do that" JJ looked at Will.

"Still got a few years for that yet" Will smiled.

"So did you think more about what I asked you" JJ questioned

Will nodded, pulling JJ into his hold. "Yes I did, and I couldn't think of anything that would make me happier"

JJ smiled widely, "Really"

"Really" Will smiled kissing her deeply.

"Nanna, grandpa" Henry yelled running to the open door.

Hugging her grandson, Sandy pulled away. "Look at how big you've gotten"

JJ smiled hugging her mom, and Will's father. "How was the drive?"

"Relaxing actually" Sandy smiled following JJ inside.

Will took the bags to the spare rooms, joining everyone in the living room.

"This house is beautiful" Sandy spoke

"It's all Will's doing, he did all the hard work" JJ smiled squeezing his hand.

"You did good kids" Bill spoke.

"We put the tree up now daddy," Henry said climbing into Will's lap.

"Later on buddy, why don't you go get your drawings to show everyone" Will spoke

Everyone waited for Henry to leave the room.

"Daddy" Bill looked at his son.

"Were both still adjusting to it" Will looked at JJ.

"He started saying it a few months back and we both just love it" JJ smiled.

"Well, you definitely are his daddy," Bill said.

"Actually while we're on the subject" JJ looked at Will.

"We've decided to make it official Will being Henry's father" JJ smiled.

"Oh, that's the best news I've heard" Sandy smiled.

"The best Christmas present is having JJ and Henry in my life forever" Will smiled kissing JJ.

JJ passed, Will the baubles as he placed them high up onto the tree.

"Mommy it's so big" Henry smiled.

"Much bigger than last year" JJ laughed.

"We need more baubles" Will looked at everyone.

"Should be some, in the spare room" JJ looked at her mother.

"I will be right back." Sandy got up.

"Grandpa, will you help me make the popcorn string," Henry asked.

"Go grab the bowl kiddo" Bill smiled.

"You ok?" Will asked looking at JJ.

JJ smiled. "I'm great, this is just something I never thought we would have" she looked at him.

"We got our family JJ" Will said.

JJ nodded, "I'm going to help mom, there are a few boxes," JJ said walking off.

"How many more did you buy?" Sandy asked.

"Well, we figured why not" JJ laughed.

"You ok?" Sandy asked.

"Why does everyone keep asking me that?" JJ sat down on the bed.

"Cause you have never been this quiet in your entire life," Sandy said sitting next to her.

"Everything with Will is perfect, work is great the house is amazing, and I just feel like I'm going to mess it all up" JJ spoke

"Oh honey, that isn't going to happen," Sandy said taking her hand.

"How do you know that?" JJ asked.

"Because you're in love and got someone who keeps you grounded" Sandy smiled.

"I can't believe it took me so long to figure that out" JJ sighed

"Well, just don't go running away anytime soon" Sandy joked.

"Thanks, mom, for everything" JJ smiled.

"You know, I like this JJ she's all happy all the time" Sandy smiled at her.

"Very funny, c'mon before the boys send in a search party" JJ grabbed a box.

"And you will always be my baby star" JJ closed the book.

"Night mommy" Henry yawned.

"Goodnight, baby close your eyes," JJ said

watching him sleep, JJ got up turning off the light, she made her way down the hall.

"Everyone's asleep," JJ said closing the bedroom door. "What's this?" JJ asked noticing all the candles.

"Well, I thought we deserved a cozy night in bed" Will smiled.

"Will LaMotnage, what did I do to deserve you" JJ smiled widely.

Climbing into bed, JJ laid her head on Will's chest. "I love this thank you" JJ looked at him.

Running his hand, under her chin, Will kissed her deeply, pulling away, he tucked her hair behind her ear. "I wanted to ask you something"

JJ looked at him.

"Will"

Pulling the box out from under his pillow, Will opened it showing off the diamond ring.

"Will" JJ whispered.

"I love you JJ, I have for as long as I can remember, and I want us to be a proper family, me you and Henry, I want to give you everything you've ever wanted, Will you Marry me?"

"YES!" JJ cried feeling the tears fall down her cheeks.

Placing the ring on her finger, Will kissed her.

"I love you JJ" Will smiled.

"I love you" JJ smiled kissing him again.

"You like it?" Will asked JJ cuddled close to his chest.

JJ looked at him, snuggling her head deeper into his chest. "It was your mom's," JJ said placing her hand in his.

"The last words she said to me was, you only give this ring to JJ, no one else" Will looked at her.

JJ took a breath, "Your mom was one smart lady" JJ smiled.

"She always knew we would end up together" Will smiled.

"I think everyone did but us" JJ laughed.

"Well, it may have taken us a lot of years but we finally got each other" Will smiled kissing her.

"Forever and always, I am yours, and so is Henry," JJ said.

"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and our family" Will kissed her.

Smiling, JJ returned the kiss, she had everything she had ever wanted, the family the man she always needed, the true love, it truly was a Christmas ever after.
