Hey Everyone!
I know that the chapters seem to be getting shorter, but they will vary depending on which situation Lucy and Natsu are writing/talking about. I promise that longer chapters are coming. As always, enjoy and feel free to review and comment!

Lucy
"How many more do we have Lu? I need to get home soon." Levy shifted uncomfortably and Lucy knew that Levy was growing stressed. She had left her son at home with Gajeel and needed to get back soon to nurse him.
"We only have ten more. Let's split them evenly," Lucy answered. Levy sighs and smiles.
"Good. I can't wait until Laurie no longer needs me to nurse him. Nursing isn't as uncomfortable as a pregnancy, but there are times it's close." Lucy could only smile and laugh. Levy and Gajeel were great parents and both had been over the moon when their son was born. This happiness bubble was popped though when Natsu and Lucy had announced their engagement. Gajeel was enraged that Natsu had proposed before he'd had a chance to do the same with Levy. Thus no one was surprised when a week later, Levy was sporting a massive diamond ring. Lucy looked at it now a bit jealously. With their sudden engagement they had decided to forgo an engagement ring. It was the wise thing to do, but still Lucy kind of wanted one. After all, every married woman she knew always had an engagement and wedding ring. It was a little embarrassing that she'd only have one. But she knew that putting all their money into the wedding was the best thing. Maybe she could ask for a diamond ring at their first anniversary.
"Okay, I'm all done mine Luce," Levy said, standing and stretching. Lucy, startled out of her thoughts, realized she hadn't even gotten started on her last five.
"Oh, well thanks, Levy! You were a big help. I promise that when you and Gajeel get married I'll pay you back."
"It's no big deal, Lucy. Besides, it's not for another eight months. Just worry about your own wedding and honeymoon," here Levy smiled and winked, causing Lucy to redden.
"Yeah, well … wait? You chose a date?"
"Yeah, last night. We decided to get married on our anniversary."
Lucy thought about it. In all honesty, no one really knew when those two had actually started dating. "So, like when you two had your first date?"
"No. It was more the first time we, uh … got together." Levy's small blush led to Lucy's full one and she nodded. She had suspected that they had just fallen into a relationship rather than go the more traditional route, but now that she thought about it, many of the wizards she knew did that. It was almost like with all the danger and camaraderie, no one was really paying attention to their own feelings until they had to.
"Lucy, marry me." Natsu declared, never breaking eye contact.
Lucy shook off her own memory and finished up the last card. She could think about her own relationship later. Now she needed to put the cards in their white and silver box to be taken to the guild later and go write another letter to Natsu now. It was just barely 12, so Lucy figured she could eat lunch after this next installment.
Piece 3 - Your Honor
Hey Natsu,
I said in my last letter that I wasn't completely heartbroken when you tricked me into joining your team, but I most definitely wasn't happy about being tricked. I just wanted you to ask me, but even then I knew it had to be awkward since we barely knew each other. After I got over my initial anger, I was actually touched that you had even thought of me.
Oh, that mission. It was one trick after another. First, you tricked me into joining your team, then you tricked me into wearing a maid's outfit, though that one was unintentional, then it turns out that our mission is against not only a rich pervert with horrible taste but a magic-wielding perverted crime boss with bad taste. Of course, the biggest trick was that our employer was really Kaby Zaleon the son of the famous author Kemu Zaleon. When everything finally came out and we got the whole story, it was pretty extraordinary. I won't go into all the details because hopefully, you remember most of it … although with your memory it's hard to know.
The important thing is, Natsu, that I was able to iron out some important details that day about you. One, you were just as powerful and destructive as I'd assumed. Two, you were even more fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants than I had imagined. Three, you were far luckier than anyone had reason to be. Seriously, you were dragged through the Celestial Realm and survived. But the fourth and most important thing was that you had a strong and unwavering sense of honor. True, it hasn't always made sense, but it has never led you wrong and with your power, it's a good thing you have it.
Your honor came out when you refused to take the money from Kaby Zaleon. I know that I complained because I was stressed out about paying my rent, but honestly, I only complained as much as I did because I needed to hide my sudden fondness from you. I had been very much impressed with someone who could turn down that kind of money. My father definitely would have taken it and he'd probably have found some way of weaseling out even more from the poor man. But not you. You left it with him and his wife and never even looked back. I know you said it was for the reputation of the guild, but I know that it was more than that. I knew it then too.
I need to finish this letter, but you need to understand something Natsu. In the world of my childhood, honor was nothing more than a word. It would be broken and traded for a deal or some cash. But with you and the greater guild, honor was and is a real thing. I knew that night, as I watched the stars twinkling overhead and listened to your snoring, that I had picked a wonderful, if unorthodox, friend.
Love,
Lucy
Natsu
Natsu shuffled in and gently placed the black bag on the back of his couch, before sitting with a sigh. Man, that had been rough. First, he stopped to grab a quick bite from the guildhall. His original plan was to pick up the tux first, but in a rare moment of thinking ahead, he realized it might get ruined if he took it there.
Everyone was happy to see him and were asking him all kinds of questions about the wedding. Then he had to go and let it slip that he was picking up his tux that day. That was when people went crazy. Mira, Lisanna, and Erza had practically dragged him to the store, his lunch only half-finished, to pick it up then and there. Of course, he had to go through one last fitting and they made him model the tux for them. It had been such a pain, and they had … gushed. Yeah, that was the only word for it.
"You'd think they'd never seen me before." He muttered and looked over at the lacrima. In all honesty, he didn't feel like doing another one, but if he stopped now, he knew he'd never finish and then he wouldn't have a gift.
"Okay, but after this one, I'm getting in some training." He sat and tapped the lacrima.
Piece 3 - Your Caring Recklessness
"Hey Luce, just picked up the tux." Here he held up the lacrima and showed her the couch where it laid. "And uh, remind me never to tell anyone at the guild what I'm doing later, ever again. Anyway, where did I leave off? Oh yeah, Duke Featherstew. So, you had my respect and I realized that I had chosen well in a partner to team up with. It's funny, but up until you showed up I never really wanted to be part of a team. I mean, I already thought of Happy and I as a partnership and I had gone on a few missions with some of my guild mates, but those missions were always short and I never did another one with them."
He suddenly laughed and shook his head. "Remind me sometime to tell you about the time I went on a mission with Bisca and Alzack. That was about two months before I met you. I still can't bring up hot peppers without Alzack going white and Bisca cracking up. Anyway, I was finally a part of a team and I knew that we were going to work well together, so imagine my surprise when Erza shows up and takes us along on that flute mission. Hey, whatever happened to that thing?" Later, Lucy would sigh and shake her head, thankful that at least Natsu was cute.
"That mission changed so much. I mean, in a week I go from duo to trio, to … whatever a five-person team is called. But, you know I've always considered you, me and Happy to be the true team. Erza, Gray, and then Wendy and Carla may come along for the big ones, but you and me, we're the core. But, I'm getting way ahead of myself, because I want to focus on what happened in that train station. When we realized that Erigor had trapped us in by putting up that crazy wind barrier. I was determined to get out and save gramps. I didn't care what trying to go through that wind would do to me, I just had to get out. I was about to jump in again when I felt your arms wrap around me to hold me back." Natsu stopped for a moment, reliving the shock.
"No one had ever done that before. You probably didn't realize your own danger in doing this because if I hadn't been shocked out of my determination, I probably would have dragged you into the wind barrier with me. It would have been easy, even now I'm so much stronger than you and when I get fired up I'm not really paying attention to anything else. You could have died." Natsu stopped again, a far off look in his eyes, before he shook his head and continued.
"But no, you who hadn't even been a part of the guild for a month had thrown yourself into harm's way for someone you barely knew and barely understood. I had to stop and look back at you. True, that was when I got my idea about using your spirits, but I was also just looking at you, trying to figure you out. Of course, that would take a lot more time and I still don't think I get you all the time." He shook his head and smirked. "But right then and there, I did understand one thing. You have a reckless side that comes out when you are worried about the people you care for. I can understand being reckless." Natsu was about to continue, when Happy flew in through the window and yelled.
"Natsu!"
"What's up?"
"You have to come see this!"
"See what?"
"Gajeel and Laxus are about to have a contest on who is a better dragon slayer!"
"What? But I'm ten times the dragon slayer then both of them!"
"Then come on! You have to hurry if you want to join in." Happy flew back out and Natsu turned back to the lacrima. "Sorry Lucy, I can't miss this!" Before the lacrima faded to black, Natsu was already in the air with Happy flying him to the guild.
