Brain exhausted and body sore Serena dragged herself out of the bathroom. She started off heading to her bedroom. She really didn't want to be in that bedroom. It was tiny and her bed was small. It was full of just her. But the sound of cup clanking together steered her in the opposite direction.

"Well about time!" A cheery voice called. "I thought I was going to have to in after you." She teased.

"Hey Mina." Serena forced a smile but she was exhausted she could not keep it for long.

"Want some wine?" She held up the bottle in one have and a glass in another as Serena continued to drag her feet to the kitchen.

Serena sighed. "I can't have wine."

"SAID WHO?!" Mina yell slamming the glass down inadvertently.

"Mina careful." Serena reached over to pull the glass away from her. "Glass is fragil. It can break."

"Oh." She did a quick shrug. "Sorry." She then pulled the glass back towards her. "Who said you cannot drink?" She suddenly paused. "Oh my god are you pregnant?!"

The words cut Serena deep. She had to take a minute to keep herself composed. She pressed her lips against each other. Cleared the build up in the back of her throat. "No..."

"Okay." Mina shrugged of cheerily. "So why can't you drink."

"Because Mina I have to start prepping my body for the egg retrieval." She pointed to a bag on the table showed the logo of the Doctor's office.

Mina took a good look at the bag. She let out a breath. "You're really going to do this?"

"Did you think I was kidding?"

"Well...honestly...yeah." Mina started pouring her glass of wine.

"Why would I joke about something like this?" Serena shot back.

"Serena."

"Mina?"

"You don't honestly think that Rini, you precious Rini, was made in a lab do you?"

"Do you know that she wasn't?"

"Yes!" Mina argued.

"How?"

"I am the goddess of Love remember? Rini is a the product of two people who lov-"

"Who love her very much! I know! Nobody loves her as much as Darien and I do. That is why we are doing it this way!"

"NO! Serena!" Mina waved her hands to make her stop. "Rini is the product of two people who love each other so much they came together and made an amazing daughter."

"You only saw bits and pieces of the future like I did, you don't know for a fact that is how Rini was made."

"For GOD sakes you two are king and queen!"

"We could have just been co-rulers."

"I am pouring you a glass and we are really going to talk about this."

"Mina I cannot."

"Yes you can. You just need to delay the start by three days. They already have your money they won't care."

"How do you know that?" Serena asked confused as Mina slid a glass of wine to her best friend.

"I did my research too. This is a big thing you are doing to your body Serena, and you really need to think this through. Now we are going to really talk about this."

"What is there to talk about Mina? Darien and I are done and this is the only option we have to make sure Rini will be there in the future."

"No we are going to really talk about this."

***Across Town***

"Woah dude, the good brandy, do you want to talk about it?"

"Talk about what Malachite?" He started to pour his drink. "How I am back to living alone in this stupid loft. How the love of my life suddenly left me and will only talk to me because she wants my sperm? What is there talk about?" He threw ice scooper back in the ice chest.

"I take it the visit didn't go the way you wanted." Malachite approached the bar that Darien was standing behind.

"No. I thought her hearing everything, seeing everything." He screwed the lid back on the bottle. "Seeing me."

"Would change her mind."

"And guess what? It didn't. She still wants to go through with this and I have no idea why? We were doing great. There was no more evil to battle. I finally got the job I wanted. I am able to give her the life she deserves. We were happy. We are able to travel the world."

Malachite cleared his throat.

"What?" He looked at his friend as he tightly gripped his cup.

"You guys were able to travel the world, but only one of you actually did. The other always had something more important to do."

"I was working!" He slammed the glass down.

"Working or not Darien." Malachite took a sip out of cup. "It looks really bad that you did not notice she had actually left you for 3 days."

"I thought she was on the trip with you guys! How the hell was I supposed to know she didn't actually go."

"Well one. She wasn't in one damn photo!" Malachite explained.

"I thought she was the photographer!"

"Of every damn photo Darien? Come on! You were so wrapped up in your own world that you didn't notice."

-Back At The Girls Apartment-

"He had no idea that I had left!" Serena yelled. "I took all my clothes, I left my ring!"

"Serena, I know that looks bad but too be fair he thought you were with us." Mina said in a calm voice to bring her friend back to a calm level.

"And when he found out that I wasn't do you think he went looking for me right away." Serena tilted her head to her left. "Or do you think he finished his charting, and finished his rounds?" She took a sip of her drink. "I am going to go with the second option."

"Serena when he found out you weren't with us he called all of our phones." She took a gulp of her wine. "At first he thought we were joking."

"HA!" Serena threw her head back."

"But when he realized we weren't, he was frantic!" Mina walked around the counter and sat next to Serena. She placed her hand on Serena's knee. "He loves you Serena, and you love him too."

"Does he? Do I?"

"You two are meant to be together? It is already written in your destiny."

"Said who, Mina?" Serena put her head on the counter top. "For how many years did he and I fight and call each other terrible names? Then all of sudden we were meant to be together?"

"Your memories were wiped away." Mina tried to explain.

Serena let out a sigh. "But you don't get Mina, if our love was deep, that wouldn't have happened. We would have remembered that we loved each other. Especially if we were supposedly destined for each other." She lifted her head up. Rested one arm on top of the other on the counter. "And let's not forget the time he forgot me all together, and vowed himself to Beryl."

"No." Mina shook her head. "Nope that does not count. He was hypnotized."

"And the fact that another women can do that to him. Make him forget me.." She threw her arms up.

- Back At Darien's Apartment-

He slapped his face with both his hands and vigorously rubbed. "I feel like I am in a dream, and I need to wake myself up!"

"Would you stop!" Malachite scolded.

"What else am I supposed to do? I have no idea what to do. I always thought that our love was going to make it through anything."

"Why?" Malachite asked. "Because you are Darien and she's Serena?"

"Well..."

"Did you think you weren't going to have to do anything and you two were going to live happily ever after?"

Darien shot him a glare.

"I am not judging you, I am just asking you." He fiddled with his drink napkin. Took a deep breath. "Look. You are my friend, and I know once upon a time we were enemies, but that was not my fault. I was under the influence." He explained. "But even when I was under my trance I still knew Serena has always gone above and beyond for you. She lost her entire squad, trying to save you from Beryl. She's jumped off a balcony for you."

"I have done the same for her!"

"Okay fine. But did you wait for her to come back after years of being away?"

"Part of that was not my fault!" Darien shrugged.

"Fine! It wasn't your fault. She was crazy and she had no reason to leave you! You have been nothing but the utmost perfect boyfriend for her."

"I know you are being sarcastic." He threw his hands on the counter.

"You don't say." Malachite answered. "Look Serena has left. What are you going to do?"

"What do you mean what am I going to do? I want her. I want my future. I want my family!"

"Do you really?"

"Of course I do, that is all I have ever wanted. My whole life all I wanted was my own family."

"And you know you want it with her?"

"I can't imagine it without her."

"Then...my friend what are you going to do?
