3,000 years ago, 7 items were created in a village using the souls of the people who lived there. The items that were created are called the Millennium Items and possess mystical power that calls upon the shadows of darkness to enact judgement upon those who would dare threaten the world. The Millennium Puzzle, Eye, Necklace, Ring, Scale, Key, & Rod were given to the Pharaoh and his guardians respectively as a way to keep balance and order throughout Egypt. However, a great darkness arrived and threatened the existence of the whole world. The Pharaoh then used his ancient power to seal away this darkness, but he sacrificed his own soul and the Millennium Items were lost beneath the sands of time.
As time went by, The Millennium Items remained undisturbed until an archaeologist found the puzzle and gave it to his grandson to solve it. It took the boy 8 years to solve the puzzle and once he did, he gained more than he could dream of. The boy gained knowledge beyond his wildest dreams, friends that he has made everlasting bonds with, and the Spirit of the Pharaoh now resides in him. Together they are the King of Games: Yugi Muto.
Now we begin their new adventure. Hope you enjoy it.
"Cmon Yug" replied a blonde haired boy with a Jersey accent. "Were gonna be late for Kaiba's big surprise".
"Coming Joey, just lemme get my jacket and puzzle" replied the young man with spiky hair. This is Yugi Muto, a 17 year old boy who holds the title "King Of Games".
"You know Yugi as much as I am interested in Kaiba's project, we do have other things to attend to" says a voice that is similar to Yugi's but is deeper and more commanding.
"I know Pharaoh, but Kaiba asked for all of us to be there, especially us," Yugi replies to his 3,000 year old counterpart. "I'm surprised he even invited Joey since they bicker all the time".
As Yugi puts on his jacket and the Puzzle, he and Joey leave the game shop and make their way to Kaiba Corporation where the rest of the gang is waiting for them. Once they enter inside, we see them get greeted by Tea, Tristan and Bakura.
"Hello there Yugi and Joey" says Bakura in a british-like accent as he walks up to them.
"Hi there Bakura" Yugi replies.
"Sup Bakura" Joey replies.
"Yugi! Joey!" Tristan yells as he comes running to them at full speed
"Sup Tristan". Joey replies "How's Serenity doing? Is she well?". Tristan and Serenity started dating after the whole Dartz ordeal, but it took Joey a while to accept this, so he'll constantly ask Tristan how she is doing even though he knows his best friend wouldn't ever do anything to harm her.
"She is fine Joey" says Tristan. "You don't have to ask me that question every single time. You know i'm not going to harm her or break her heart".
"You better not," Joey says. "Or your going to get the beating of a lifetime"
"Knock it off you two idiots" says Tea as she comes up behind them and hits them both on the head. "Hey Yugi" she says with a bright smile that makes Yugi blush and Yami chuckle.
"Hi Tea" Yugi replies while sending a mental block to Yami saying the words "stop laughing" as the spirit continues to enjoy his host's awkwardness.
As the gang continues to interact with one another, they fail to notice a certain brunette with a white long jacket with the symbol "KB" on it.
"Alright you idiots, enough dottling" says the man as he gains the group's attention. This man is no other than Seto Kaiba, the owner of Kaiba Corp and a rival to Yugi.
"Well isn't that a pleasant way to greet us, rich boy" says Joey as Kaiba glares at him and opens his mouth to insult him before being stopped by a certain someone.
"Hey everyone,'' says Mokuba, the little brother of Kaiba. "Don't mind my brother. He's kinda upset about a recent project of his isn't working correctly, so he is kinda grumpy"
"What kind of project" Joey asked in mild curiosity
"None of your business, Wheeler" replies Kaiba. "Now if you could all follow me into the lab, where I can go show you the special project I have been working on".
As the Kaiba Brothers lead Yugi and the others to the lab, they notice different versions of the duel disk being created and all new 3d holograms of different creatures that have never been seen before.
"Hey Kaiba, those holograms...Are they new duel monsters?" Yugi asks.
"Not exactly," Kaiba replies. " While these creatures could eventually end up in Duel Monsters, they are merely for entertainment purposes".
After that brief and subtle explanation, everyone arrives at the lab. Once they enter inside, they see a mysterious machine being hooked up with multiple wires, but the strange thing is that the machine is in the shape of a…..crystallised donut?
"So anyone wanna explain why this project looks like a donut" Joey exclaims while drooling and beginning to grow hungry.
"Get any drool on my equipment and we're going to have a problem Wheeler or should I call you a wildmutt" Kaiba says as he smirks when Joey tries to attack him, but is held back by Yugi and Tristan.
"This project is supposed to theoretically be able to transport anyone or anything to another part of the world and hypothetically, another universe" Kaiba says. "It could in fact take us into the world of Duel Monsters itself or back into the cyberverse"
"So it's a time machine?" Tea asks in curiosity
"No, it's more of a Dimensional Jump Machine" replies Kaiba
"Travelling dimensions?. Is that even possible" Yami asks
"Honestly, I don't know Pharaoh," Yugi replies. " This is Kaiba we're talking about and he is a genius in his own right. Maybe he has found a way"
"I will now demonstrate how the machine works" Kaiba says as he gives Mokuba a thumbs up. Mokuba then turns on the machine and types in Egypt into a computer. He then places an apple onto a small platform and watches as the apple gets sucked into the machine and ends up at it's destined location.
"Amazing" exclaims Tristan, Tea, and Bakura as they can't believe what has actually happened.
"How do we know that the apple actually ended up there?" says Joey not believing what he witnessed.
"We have Kaiba Corp satellites orbiting in space that sends our computers a message that will tell us whether or not the item safely made it to its destination" replies Mokuba
"Showoff…" Joey says in a low whisper, but Kaiba heard his remark and smirked at him.
Meanwhile Yugi and Yami couldn't believe their eyes. An apple was actually transported to another part of the world. Did it mean that dimension jumping was actually true? Or was this pure luck that it worked correctly?
"Send something bigger this time" Joey says
"Like your mouth Wheeler" replies Kaiba, smirking while seeing Joey once again being held back by Yugi from tearing him a new one.
Kaiba then gives Mokuba another thumbs up and gets the machine fired up, but what the brothers didn't realize was that a certain wire from the machine had been ripped. As the machine was turned on, it began to release energy from it causing an alarm to go off, starting everyone.
"What's going on" Bakura asks
" I think rich boy's machine has backfired on him" says Joey
"That's impossible," Kaiba states. "All the calculations are correct and have been gone through multiple times". "Mokuba, give me an update NOW!".
"I don't know what's going on big bro" replies Mokuba. "Right now you and everyone else need to get out of the lab because the machine is going to start creating a singularity soon.
As Mokuba says this, a black hole of some kind appears and begins to suck everything into it. Everyone then begins to run towards the lab's doors to make their escape, however one of the lab assistants is stuck and can't move. Yugi then begins to help the lab assistant up as he is not one to leave anyone behind. He sees that everyone else has already made it out of the lab except him and the lab assistant. They both make a mad dash to get to the door, but Yugi gets pulled back by the black hole.
"Yugi!" cries Tea as she sees him struggling against the pull of the black hole
"KAIBA! STOP THIS NOW" exclaims Joey & Tristan
"DON'T YOU IMBECILES THINK I AM TRYING!" replies Kaiba
Kaiba reaches Mokuba and they begin working on the computers trying to stop the machine as quickly as possible, but their command codes aren't responding to the machine.
"Pharaoh, I can't fight the pull of the portal" Yugi says
"I can't switch places with you for some reason," Yami says. "It's as if something is blocking the Millennium Puzzle's power".
"Can we summon someone like the Dark Magician?" Yugi asks
"We can try" Yami replies
Yugi then reaches for his deck and pulls out the Dark Magician. The Magician appears, noticing his master's distress and shoots a beam of magic into the portal, but an energy wave from the portal destroys the magician and sucks Yugi into it!
"YUGI!" Everyone replies as they watch their friend get sucked into who knows where.
The portal then closes on itself as all the energy from it vanishes from thin air.
"KAIBA!, where did he end up" Joey exclaims. "If something happens to Yugi, I'm gonna kick your butt"
"Get your hands off me Wheeler," Kaiba says. "Wherever Yugi ended up will be picked up by the satellites. Besides he has his duel disks and a so called "spirit" with him even though I don't believe in all that hocus pocus"
"Don't word Joey, we'll find him" Mokuba says
"I hope so," Joey says as he and the rest of the gang look towards the destroyed machine.
Ahsoka's POV
Me and my master had recently gotten done completing a mission for the Jedi Council escorting slaves to a new home for them to be free. Once we returned, I went to my quarters for a much needed break and to meditate, but what I wasn't expecting was this. As I was meditating, I began to get a force vision of a young boy with spiky hair, a golden upside down pyramid, and darkness/light combined. I awoke from my vision with a gasp and tried to catch her breath. As I did however, I looked up and began to see a portal open up.
"What is that" I asked in mild curiosity. As I got closer to it, I could see something falling out of it and as a caution, summoned my lightsaber towards me. I then used the force pull whatever it was that was falling towards me and to my surprise it was a boy. A boy with similar features to the one I had in my force vision.
The boy begins to look around as if he doesn't know where he is and then zones out for a very long time. He then faces me with a slight smile and I blush.
"Ummm, hello there….My name is Yugi" the boy now identified as Yugi says. "Could you tell me exactly where I am"
"You're on the planet of Coruscant" I say. "Home of the Jedi"
He then begins to pale and zone out again as if he's speaking within his own mind. As he does this I take a chance to scan for his force signature. To my surprise, his signature was almost as strong as my master's, but what scared me was that his signature had both the light and dark side within him in equal strengths, which shouldn't be possible.
As the boy is still zoned out, I try to pry into his mind but something attacks me and stops me from searching him. I flinch back in surprise that the boy's mind is so heavily guarded. I then hear my door open and see my master, Anakin Skywalker look at me and the boy and take out his lightsaber.
"Who are you?" Anakin says "And how did you get into my padawan's room?"
Author's Note: Hope you enjoy this first chapter of the Millennium Force. I have to say seeing Yugi/Yami in the Star wars story would be interesting. Be on the lookout for Chapter 2.
