"Who are you?" Anakin asks. "And how did you get into my padawan's room"
"Yugi, do you need me to switch places" Yami asks in concern for his hikari's well being
"No, I'll be fine Pharaoh," Yugi says. " Let me handle this for right now"
"OK, I trust you" replies Yami
"I won't ask again" says Anakin" "Who are you and why are you here?"
"Master wait" says Ahsoka. "This is all a misunderstanding. Let me explain what happened"
"Fine" replies Anakin as he then shuts off his lightsaber, but not before glaring at Yugi one last time. "Please enlighten me on the situation"
"I had a force vision while meditating. In the vision I saw a spiky haired boy with an upside down pyramid and 3 beasts behind him. He was also shrouded in both light and darkness" says Ahsoka
"3 beasts?" says Yugi. "Could she be referring to the Egyptian Gods Pharaoh?"
"Possibly" replies Yami. "However, I don't see our deck on us nor the dueling disk, but there is always more than meets the eye"
"Once I awoke from the vision, I went to clear my mind, but to my surprise, a portal opened up from the ceiling. I reached for my lightsaber, just in case something attacked me, and this boy came out of the portal. He says his name Yugi" says Ahsoka
"Uh Huh and where are you from Yugi?" Anakin asks in a suspicious tone
"If I told you, then you wouldn't probably believe me" replies Yugi
"Try me" replies Anakin in a smug tone
"I'm from another universe" Yugi says
"Yeahh, I don't believe you" says Anakin
"I believe him SkyGuy," sys Ahsoka. "I mean look at him. His hair and that upside pyramid prove he's not from here, plus his force signature is off-balance and balanced at the same time".
"Force signature?" says Yugi
"They're possibly talking about how we are two halves of each other" Yami replies. "You are light and I am darkness."
"I get the feeling that darkness isn't exactly welcomed here" replies Yugi
"Me too" says Yami
"Maybe he is or maybe he is tricking you," says Anakin. "He may very well be a sith using some sort of mind trick"
"Then why don't we let the council decide" Ahsoka says
"Fine," Anakin says. "Yugi, if that is even your real name, we shall be taking you to our superiors for them to evaluate you, if that's alright.
"Of course" Yugi replies
Yugi is then taken by Anakin and Ahsoka to a big room with 12 individuals sitting in chairs. Yugi felt a little bit intimidated by all the blank stares he was receiving, but tried not to show it.
"Young Skywalker, Padawan Tano" says a short green creature with elf-like ears and gray hair coming off his hair.
"Hello Master Yoda" replied Ahsoka. "We have an unexpected visitor to the Temple" she says as she points to Yugi, who waves in response. "And the story behind his appearance is rather...eventful.
"I'll say" replies Anakin
Ahsoka then begins to tell everyone the story of how Yugi arrived in her quarters, the vision she had about him, and his unique force signature.
"Hmm quite the story, Padawan Tano" Yoda says
"Interesting indeed" says Master Mace Windu
"Master Windu, I find it hard to deny that this story is true" says another man, but with a brown beard and lighter complexion.
"Your letting your attachments cloud your judgement Obi-Wan" replies Windu. "Ahsoka said he has both the light and dark side with him. That makes him dangerous, especially since we have no idea what his powers are or what that necklace he wears is.
"Then why not let the boy defend himself and show us" replies Plo-Koon
All eyes then turn to Yugi as he realizes that they want him to show his powers.
"Should we?" Yugi says to his other self
"Yes, but first we need them to keep this a secret." Yami replies
"While I don't know what the dark or light side is," Yugi says. "I can show you the powers of the Millennium Puzzle, but I ask if you all could keep this a secret".
The council nods to Yugi as they promise to keep this encounter a secret. Yugi then walks towards the center of the room and closes his eyes…
"YUGIOHHHHHHH" Yugi/Yami says as a blinding golden light fills the council room.
When the council opens their eyes, they can't believe what they see. In front of them was Yugi, but he was taller, had spikier hair, and had a more mature and confident aura with him. His aura was also darker as well.
"By the force…" utters Obi-Wan as he is surprised by what has occurred.
"Hmm are you still Yugi or someone entirely new?" asks Windu
"I am neither Yugi nor someone entirely new, but I am my own person" replies Yami
"You called your necklace the Millennium Puzzle, tell us about it" says Windu
Yami then proceeds to tell them the story of the Millennium Puzzle and how it was originally the item of a powerful pharaoh. He then tells them that he is the pharaoh who onced wielded the item, shocking everyone except Yoda. Then Yami tells them how he used the power of the puzzle to seal a great evil and in turn sacrificed his own life and memories in the process. He then tells them how Yugi obtained the puzzle and completed it 8 years later, combining their souls into one.
"A very interesting story" says Obi-Wan
"You said the puzzle can seal away a great evil, correct?" says Windu
Yami nods his head.
"Then could it work to seal away our great evil?" Windu asks
"You mean the dark side?" Yami asks
"No, but what follows it" replies Plo-Koon
"I'm sorry ,but our Millennium Puzzle does not work like that," Yami says.
"What can you tells about this great evil" Yoda says
Yami then proceeds to tell them about duel monsters (the creatures, not the game) and how in his past life, Yami would cast judgement on those who were vile and evil using these creatures. He also states that he controls 3 of the strongest creatures known to exist during that also adds that he doesn't know anything about the great evil other than that it would come back during modern day to finish what it started.
"Can we see one of your monsters?" Obi-Wan asks
"Honestly, I am not sure" replies Yam. " I seem to be disconnected with them for a moment."
"Skywalker, could take Yugi outside the room" Windu asks. "We need to talk amongst ourselves about this matter".
"Of course masters" replies Anakin as he escorts Yami out of the way.
"Well that was surprising" says Ahsoka
"Yeah very" says Anakin
They are both then alerted to the golden light of the Millennium Puzzle shining and before them stands normal Yugi.
"I hope we left a good impression," Yugi says. "Right now, they might be my only way back home".
"I still can't believe you share a body with a 3000 year old king" replies Anakin. "I have to admit it's pretty cool".
Yugi then smiles at him before noticing Ahsoka staring at him. When she finds herself being caught, she begins to blush and look away, much to the amusement of her master. They are then alerted by a guard saying that the council has made a decision.
As they walk back into the council room. Yoda then raises his hand and asks Yugi to step forward.
"Come to a decision, we have" says Yoda. "Like you to become a Jedi, we decided"
"A Jedi?" replies Yugi in a confused tone.
"A Jedi is a master of light and balance" says Windu. "We believe that you could become a powerful Jedi, even though you do harbor the darkside within you" He says referring to Yami
"Well, what do you think Yami?" Yugi asks
"If it is the only way home, then I guess we have no choice, but we must remain cautious" He says as Yugi nods in agreement.
"Master Yoda, we accept your offer" says Yugi
"Hmm, well then young padawan, welcome to the Jedi Order" Yoda says.
Author's note: Before anyone says anything, yes I know I need to work on Yoda's dialogue a lot lol, but I hope you enjoyed Chapter 2.
