Once Yugi was allowed to become a Padawan, he was then assigned to Anakin Skywalker. At first, Anakin didn't want to have another Padawan and said that Yugi should be assigned to someone like Obi-Wan, but Obi-Wan was the one who suggested that Yugi remain close to Anakin. After much arguing between the former master and apprentice, Anakin decided to accept the offer of Yugi being his padawan.
After that, the council decided Yugi needed a change of clothes. Anakin & Ahsoka then brought Yugi multiple outfits for him to choose from. Yugi chose to keep something similar to the outfit Anakin's, but instead of it being black, it was blue and he wore a crown on top of his head with wings on either side with the Millennium symbol in the middle (The crown that Pharaoh Atem wears) along with the Millennium Puzzle.
"What do you think?" Yugi says to his other self
"We look good Yugi," says Yami. "I'm surprised something that is so similar to my Egyptian past even exist here"
"Me too" replies Yugi
Anakin and Ahsoka then escort Yugi into the meditation room to teach him about the force, the dark side, and the light side.
"Yugi listen up," says Anakin. "The force is what gives a Jedi it's power. It's an energy field created by all. It surrounds us and penetrates us, it essentially binds the galaxy together. I want you to focus and try to conjure the force."
Yugi nods his head and closes his eyes to focus. As he does this, the Millennium Puzzle begins to glow along with the crown on his head. As Yugi concentrates harder, he begins to summon the force along with an old friend.
"Uhh Yugi" says Ahsoka. "You might wanna open your eyes"
As Yugi opens his eyes, he finds himself to be completely shocked as there is a familiar entity standing before him.
"It's the Dark Magician" cries Yugi
"The Dark Magician?" replies Anakin and Ahsoka
"Remember when the Pharaoh said we had the ability to control great beasts" Yugi says as the other two Jedi nod their heads.
"Well this is one of those great beasts and one of our best friends, The Dark Magician" says Yugi. The Dark Magician then turns his body towards Yugi and bows to him.
"My Kings" says the Magician as then a bright light consumes the room and Yami appears, startling the Jedi.
"It is good to see you," Yami replies. "What happened to the others? Are they safe? What about the Egyptian Gods?"
"I do not know what happened to us, My King, but I can sense all of us including the Egyptian Gods inside of you"
"It's because you have a unique force ability," says Anakin, interrupting the reunion. "It's called Force Illusion. Very few Jedi have that ability".
"I suppose you're right," says Yami.
"For now I will take my leave, my kings. If you ever need my help or the others, don't hesitate to call".
"Thank you my friend" says Yami as he watches the Magician vanish in a golden light.
"Well then that was unexpected" says Yugi. "Do you think if we get stronger with the force, then we might be able to summon the Egyptian Gods?"
"Perhaps" replies Yami. "I guess that the both of us will have to train very hard in the force and listen to our two new friends"
Yugi then switches back and continues his training with Anakin and Ahsoka. He learns more about the force and how to use it to his advantage. He learns how to levitate objects and learns more about the force illusion ability.
Anakin and Ahsoka then give him a tour of the Temple. They show him the temple archives, the training room, meditation chamber, healing room among other things.
"Aye, when can I get one of those light swords?" Yugi asks
"A Lightsaber is something you cannot just get Yugi" Anakin says. "A lightsaber is something that is earned if the force deems it".
"Similar to the Millennium Items" Yami says
"Just like how destiny bound us together as well" Yugi says making his other self chuckle in amusement and smile
"You will earn your lightsaber eventually," Anakin says. "Maybe Ahsoka could even accompany you".
"Indeed she shall, young skywalker" says another voice. The group turns around to see Yoda walking towards them.
"Padawan Tano will accompany Padawan Yugi to Illum," Yoda says. "If he is to fight alongside you, a weapon he will need".
"Of course master" replies Ahsoka. "When will we depart?"
"At the start of sunrise" replies Yoda. "I have a feeling that you shall be in for a surprise" Yoda then walks away from the group, leaving them baffled for a short period of time until Ahsoka breaks the tension.
"Well I guess we should head to our quarters then" she says. "We have a big day tomorrow"
"I suppose we should," replies Anakin, but stops and turns around to Yugi. "You don't have anywhere to sleep, do you".
"Nope" replies Yugi
"He can stay with me, Master" replies Ahsoka as she grabs onto Yugi's arm, giving Yugi a tremendous blush and Yami a big laugh.
"I suppose he could as long as he doesn't do any funny business" Anakin says as he slightly glares at Yugi.
"Of course he won't Master" replies Ahsoka. "Besides emotions such as love are banned by the Jedi Code".
"Right…" Anakin says in a voice full of spite and disappointment that didn't go unnoticed by Yugi & Yami. Anakin then bids the two padawans a good night and makes his way to his quarters.
Ahsoka then takes Yugi back to her quarters, while Yugi speaks to Yami
"These Jedi don't use their emotions?" Yugi says. "That's basically robbing a person of their ability to love or to even feel anything".
"Yes it is" Yami replies. "I have a feeling they ban emotions due to it being considered a path to the "dark side".
"We still don't know what any of that means" Yugi says
"All in due time, my hikari," says Yami. "We will learn more throughout our training"
"I guess you're right" Yugi says
Ahsoka and Yugi then arrive back at her quarters where Ahsoka explains that she has a spare bed that she uses whenever one of her other padawan friends come to hang out or need someone to talk to. She then clears off all the junk on it and allows Yugi to get comfortable. She informs that she will be taking a shower and will be right out. One Ahsoka is out of hearing range, Yugi & Yami recall the events so far and tomorrow's journey.
"I wonder how our trip tomorrow will go" Yugi says
"Me too" Yami replies "However it shouldn't be that challenging now that we have the ability to summon our monsters"
"Yeah I guess you're right" Yugi replies. " I am worried about friends though. Joey and Tea must be freaking out and don't forget about grandpa".
"I worried for them as well, but I believe they are fine. After all they have been in far worse situations. We will find a way home Yugi" Yami says
After they finish their conversation, Ahsoka comes out of the shower and asks Yugi if he wants to use it. He says yes and walks into the bathroom to clean himself. About 2 minutes later, Yugi steps out and notices that Ahsoka is already asleep. He smiles and then brings himself towards his own bed and falls face first into his pillow and begins to rest for the journey he has tomorrow.
