Yugi woke up before Ahsoka to get dressed up for his adventure to Illum. He used the fresher and put on his padawan robes, along with his crown and the puzzle, and headed towards the meditation chamber. Once Yugi arrived at the chamber, he summoned the Dark Magician.
"Hello there my king" The Magician says. "What is thy bidding"
"No need to be so formal" Yugi says while sweat dropping. "I summoned you so we could train and be better prepared for the upcoming trip to Illum"
"Of course, my king" The Magician replied. Yugi and the Magician then began to spar with Yugi using the force and The Magician using his magic. After an hour, Yugi switched to Yami and allowed him to spar with the Magician.
Two hours later, Ahsoka Tano awoke from her long slumber. She noticed that Yugi wasn't in bed, but could feel him nearby using the force. When she searches through the force, she notices…. that Yugi is in distress!. She quickly gathers her lightsabers and robes and uses the force to track him down.
The force then leads her to the meditation chamber where she tries to reach Yugi through the force, but to no avail. Ahsoka then lights her sabers and counts in her head
"3...2...1" Ahsoka says as she kicks down the meditation chamber door, startling Yugi and the Magician
"YUGI!, Are you ok?" Ahsoka asks. She runs over to Yugi and begins to look over him to see if he's injured. She then glares at the Dark Magician
"What did you do to him?" She asks while glaring at the Magician
"Ahsoka calm down" Yugi says as he jumps in front of the Magician. "We were just training and getting prepared for the trip for Illum, besides the Magician and me are friends and he would never intentionally hurt me."
"Are you sure?" Ahsoka asks. "You do harbor a dark side of the force within you and we still don't know the extent of your powers or your "creatures"
"YUGIOOOHHH"
A blinding light takes up the whole room as Yami appears in Yugi's place with a glare so powerful that it made Ahsoka take a step back and tremble in fear
"You listen well Ahsoka," Yami says in a voice that barely holds his rage. "I may not understand this war between light and darkness, but you will NOT DISRESPECT MY FRIENDS OR YUGI, DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME OR SO HELP ME, I WILL REIGN DOWN THE EGYPTIAN GODS ON YOU"
"Yessir…." Ahsoka replies
Yami then nods his head and relinquishes control back to Yugi.
"Ahsoka, I am so sorry about Yami," Yugi says. "You must understand though that we are completely foreign in this world and still need time to adjust more to your culture before we can truly be judged"
"No No its ok," Ahsoka says. "Let's get prepared for the trip to Illum, Yoda wants us to leave as soon as possible"
Yugi then bids the Dark Magician farewell and follows Ahsoka back to their room. Yugi can tell she's upset about Yami's outburst without even using the force. While Yugi is mad at Yami, he can't blame him for the outburst. She barged in unannounced and accused his friend of trying to harm him with the "Dark Side".
Once inside, Yugi went into the refresher while Ahsoka meditated on her bed. Once Yugi freshened up, the two padawans made their way to the bay hangar where Yoda was waiting for them.
"Greetings Padawan Tano, Padawan Yugi" Yoda said. "Hard journey, for you this will be Young Muto. Journey to getting a lightsaber, a hard one it is"
"I understand Master, but is there anything you can tell me so I can be more prepared" Yugi asks
"Afraid not, I can," Yoda replies. "Trust in the force, you must and beware of the darkness that resides"
"Ok?" Yugi says
"Padawan Tano, keep Muto in check you must," Yoda says to the Togruta. "Challenged he will be when receiving his lightsaber, will need a steady guide to help him he will"
"Yes Master" Ahsoka replies. Yoda then bids the two Padawans farewell and watches as they hop into their ship and fly off the hangar. Once in space, Yugi begins to look at all the other planets in awe. He saw a planet covered in lava, one covered in green and another covered with rings similar to Saturn. Ahsoka notices Yugi's excitement and smiles, noticing that in spite of the "darkness" within him, Yugi is just an innocent child.
"Hey Yugi" Ahsoka says while flipping a couple of switches on
"Yeah Ahsoka?" Yugi says
"Ever been in hyperspace?" She says with a smile
"No I haven't. What is hyperspace?" Yugi asks
"You're about to find out!" Ahsoka says as he pushes a button that sends the ship into a blue and black void, making Yugi both slightly excited and scared. Meanwhile, Ahsoka is having a blast at Yugi's first time experiencing hyperspace. Once they enter out of hyperspace, Yugi sees an icy planet out in the distance.
"Yugi, welcome to Illum" Ahsoka says."The place where you will be earning your lightsaber like all other Jedi and then lands the ship down on the planet surface and the two padawans begin to walk to a giant door near an icy cave.
"Alright Yugi, the rest is up to you," Ahsoka says. "Once you step into this door, you will be faced with the very thing you fear the most. Remember to always believe in yourself and in the force. May the Force be with you Yugi"
"And may the Force be with you as well Ahsoka" Yugi says. He then begins to walk towards the giant door and pushes it forward and walks towards the center of the room before the door closes behind him, locking him inside. At first glance, Yugi doesn't notice anything odd about the icy cave other than the giant crystal hanging above the ceiling.
"Yami, do you see this?" Yugi says. However, Yami doesn't answer which confuses Yugi greatly.
"Yami, can you hear me?" Yugi asks. "Pharaoh?"
Yugi then tries using the force to sense the Pharaoh's presence in his mind, but to no avail, he doesn't sense him. Yugi then looks down to see that….The Millennium Puzzle is missing!. Yugi then begins to freak out because he remembers entering the cave with the puzzle around his neck. He then tries to go back out the door to see if the puzzle fell off and he just didn't realize it, but the door wouldn't budge.
Yugi then senses a presence behind him through the Force and turns around to see Yami standing behind him.
"Yami!" Yugi says cheerfully. "You almost gave me a heart attack. I thought you were gone and where's the Puzzle?"
" I am not Yami" "Yami" replies. "I am something far worse and as for your Millennium Puzzle, it is safe somewhere within this cave".
"If you're not Yami, then who are you?" Yugi replies
"I am your worst fears that have come to life." "Yami" says as he ignites a red bladed lightsaber and charges at Yugi.
"I have a bad feeling about this" Yugi says as he uses the Force to push "Yami" back, but it doesn't do much as "Yami" continues to slash the red blade at Yugi, almost chopping off part of his spiky hair. "Yami" then uses the Force to force choke Yugi and shoves him into a wall and charges at him with his saber as he once again tries to attack Yugi only to be stopped by a green scepter.
"The Dark Magician" Yugi says as he silently thanks his friend for coming to his aid. The Magician pushes "Yami" back using this Dark Magic Attack and comes to help lift up Yugi.
"What is thy bidding, my king?" The Magician asks
"We need to defeat "Yami" or whoever this is and find the Millennium Puzzle" Yugi says
"It shall be done, my king" The Magician says as he enters into an offensive stance and points his scepter at "Yami"
"I'm going to enjoy destroying you Yugi" "Yami" says as he readies his blade for the battle against his "other self".
Author's Note: I am sorry for the long hiatus on both the Millennium Force and A Colossal Fairy, this past week has been very busy and eventful for me, but now I am back and will be updating regularly for the time being. A Colossal Fairy will be updated today and I may or may not be creating two more stories very soon.
