"Yugi, meet Sheev Palpatine" Anakin says as he guides Yugi in front of the old chancellor.
"My my, this must be the new apprentice I have heard so much about" Palpatine says in a caring tone. "Anakin has told me quite a lot of about you, young Muto"
"I hope they were good things," Yugi replies in a joking manner, earning him a nudge from Anakin.
"So I can see that the trip to Illum was successful" Anakin states as he eyes Yugi's lightsaber by his side. "May I see your blade Yugi?"
"Of course" Yugi replies as he hands Anakin his blade. Anakin then expects the blade and notes in his mind that the craftsmanship was somewhat poor, but it was still built fairly well. He then lights up the blade and sees that a red & blue light appears from either end, which shocks both him and Palpatine.
"My word" Palpatine says in amazement. "That is a very interesting lightsaber you have their Young Muto"
"Yugi" Anakin says in astonishment as well, "How did you come across a red & blue kyber crystal?"
"Well that's a funny story" The spiky haired padawan says while chuckling. He then proceeds to recall the events that happened on Illum to both Anakin & Palpatine. Yami, who is standing right next to Yugi in his specter form, notices how interested Palpatine is in the story, especially about the parts that involved "Dark Yami" & the red kyber crystal. The aforementioned Pharaoh glares at the Chancellor, which doesn't go unnoticed by Yugi
"Wow Yugi, I have to say that's one of the better stories I've heard come from Illum, even better than my own" Anakin says in a prideful/arrogant tone, which earns him a slap across the arm from Ahsoka and a chuckle for Palpatine.
"Indeed it is Anakin" Palpatine says in a fatherly tone. "I have to say you always seem to gain the strongest padawans. Perhaps that means you are growing stronger in the force as well and could become a Master Jedi soon".
"Thank you Chancellor" Anakin replies with a smile on his face from the praise he received from his father like figure.
"Well my boy, I do have paperwork to do. You best be on your way Anakin & I hope to see you again Yug, you as well Ahsoka" Palpatine says as he gives the three Jedi a bright smile, especially at Yugi & Anakin, before ushering the three out of the office.
The three Jedi then go to the Council to report about the trip to Illum and Yugi's saber.
"Greetings Padawan Tano, Padawan Muto" Yoda says to the two padawans and gives Anakin a slight nod.
"Greetings Master" The two padawans reply in sync
"Padawans" Mace Windu says "It seems the trip to Illum was a success. May we see your lightsaber Yugi?"
Yugi then proceeds to pull out his golden saber and turns on the red & blue blade, shocking the Council especially Windu, Obi-Wan, & Yoda as they have never even seen or heard of anyone using a red & blue kyber crystal.
"Amazing" Obi-Wan mutters as he stares at the saber and at Yugi. He truly in all of his years as a force wielder had never seen anything like Yugi.
"This is an interesting development, wouldn't you agree Master Yoda" Windu asks
"Interesting it is" Yoda replies "A Jedi using a red kyber crystal, never has it been seen, one of a kind Yugi is". He says making Yugi blush at the statement from being praised
"How did you acquire this kyber crystal?" Windu asks. Yugi, once again, tells the Council the story about how "Dark Yami" appeared and tried to kill him. He also mentions his monsters fusing, which shocked the Council as well and how once he defeated the other Yami, he dropped the kyber crystal & found a blue crystal farther in the caves of Ilum.
"Interesting story you have young Muto" Yoda says. "Great care we must take. This "Dark Yami" could return at any moment".
"How do we know whether or not the spirit of the Puzzle is this dark one" Windu says in an accusing tone as he glares at Yugi.
"YUGIOHHHHH".
A bright light fills the room as Yami switches places with Yugi and glares heavily at Windu, making the Master Jedi flinch.
"Master Windu…" Yami starts "I can assure you I am not this "Dark Yami" that tried to hurt Yugi. I would never hurt my friends, especially not the ones who have done so much for me. He says as he gives Yugi a slight smile and nod which his Hikari reproduces.
"How can we be sure. After all, you do harbor the dark side inside of you" Windu replies
"Just because I have "dark side powers" does not mean I am a sith Windu" Yami retorts.
"Yami is it?" Obi-Wan asks the 3000 year old Pharaoh.
"Yes?" Yami replies back.
"Could you summon the monster that Yugi used against the darker you or is that ability only available to Yugi?" Obi-Wan asks.
"No, we both have the ability to do so," Yami says. He then gathers up the force around him as the Puzzle begins to shine bright.
"I summon Dark Paladin," Yami says as the armored Paladin of Gold & Green is summoned into the Council Room. Obi-Wan then reaches out into the force and feels not only the monster's force signature, but also Yami's as well. He notices that both signatures are a mixture of the dark and light side and are perfectly balanced, similarly as to how Yugi & Yami are.
Obi-Wan then explains to the Council that both Yami & his monster's force signatures are an exact match to his & Yugi's. Windu does try to retort this as he usually does with everything, but is stopped by Yoda when he says that he should trust Yugi/Yami and trust in the force. Windu relents as that and the others dismiss Yugi from the room along with Ahsoka & Anakin.
Yami then lets Yugi take control
"Well that could've gone better" Yugi says in a joking manner.
"Oh ya think" Ahsoka says in a teasing tone "I haven't seen Windu that riled up since Sky Guy over here destroyed his fighter" She says as Anakin smacks her arm in a playful manner.
"Yugi, how would you like to join me & Ahsoka for dinner?" Anakin asks. "I would like you meet someone dear to me and would like for you to enjoy your first ever meal courtesy of me"
"Of course, I would love to," Yugi replies.
"Great" Anakin says "Ahsoka will guide you to my home here on Coruscant. I expect to see you around 7 sharp". He says as he walks off towards Admiral Yularen.
"Well what should we do while we wait?" Yugi asks.
"Let's go to the Meditation Chamber," Ahsoka suggests. Yugi then nods and asks her to lead the way. Once they enter the two padawans sit on the opposite sides of each other and close their eyes to begin meditating.
Yugi & Yami POV
"Huh where am I?" Yugi says as he sees that he is surrounded in pitch black darkness.
"Yugi?" a voice asks. Yugi then turns his attention towards Yami, who is in his specter form floating beside him.
"Yami what's going on? Where are we?" Yugi asks
"I don't know Yugi," Yami replies. "This seems awfully familiar to the time we freed Timaeus"
The two are then interrupted from their conversation as they see Slifer, Obelisk , & Ra summoned before them.
"The Egyptian Gods?!" The two twins replied
The gods then begin their attacks respectively as they are attacking something in the pitch black darkness. The attacks reveal dark, red eyes piercing through the clouds of darkness and begins to fire it's own attack on the Gods. Meanwhile, Yugi sees two figures in the distance, one with a black hood on and another with black armor and a horrible breathing sound.
"Yami look!" Yugi says as he points in the direction of the two figures.
"I see them" Yami says
The figure cloaked in the black hood cackles loudly and begins to shoot lightning out of his fingers at the direction of Yugi & Yami, but the two block the attack using the Force. The dark armored figure then whips out a red lightsaber and attacks them as well, but is pushed back by the Force. Yugi & Yami then look at each other and nod as they concentrate and draw up on the force.
"We summon Dark Magician & Dark Magician Girl" the two shout as they summon their favorite monster alongside his apprentice. The two magicians then nod to their summoners and attack the dark armored figure as Yugi & Yami focus on the cloaked figure who is still cackling at the sight before them. Yugi & Yami then summon the lightsaber Yugi had just created and charge at the figure before an explosion appears in front of them, knocking them backwards.
The two look up to see the Gods fighting against the darkness's attacks before they begin to be overwhelmed by it. Ra is the first to fall, then Obelisk, & then Slifer, who falls...right on top of Yugi & Yami!.
"SLIFER!" The two call out as they watch the God fall right on top of them, but before God can make impact, the two are pulled back into the darkness.
"GASP"
Yugi then wakes up from his meditation spot in a pure sweat. He is so shocked and baffled that he fails to notice Ahsoka running towards him.
"Yugi are you ok?" she asks in a gentle tone. "The Puzzle was shining so bright and I could feel the force fluctuating around you. It felt so violent & so pure at the same time".
"Yeah, I'm fine" Yugi lies. He notices that Ahsoksa doesn't believe him, but luckily she drops it and pulls Yugi up from his meditation spot.
"C'mon let's go ahead and get to Sky Guy's" Ahsoka replies as she drags Yugi to the hangar bay and hops on her speedster. Yugi also hops on as well & watches the scenery fly by as they make the trip to Anakin's home. Yugi then begins to reminisce about the vision he just had. What could it mean? Who was the cloaked figure in black? Who was the armored figure in black & why did he feel so….familiar? Was he a Sith? Was the cloaked figure also a Sith? Who were the Egyptian Gods fighting & who defeated them? While running all the questions through his head, he failed to notice that the speedster had stopped until Ahsoka snapped him out of it.
"C'mon Yugi lets go" Ahsoka says as she drags the spiky-haired padawan up to Anakin's simple home.
"I wonder who we're going to meet" Yugi says
"I am also curious as well," Yami replies. Yugi had noticed that Yami was awfully quiet since the vision had occurred and was no doubt having the same questions that he was having, but perhaps this dinner would help take their minds off of it.
Ahsoka then goes up to the door and knocks very loudly on it. At first, no one answers, but then Anakin appears in normal attire in front of them.
"Ahsoka, Yugi c'mon in" Anakin says with a bright smile. He ushers the two padawans into his home and shuts the door behind him. Yugi notices that the house is very plain and that there wasn't really much to it. He then notices a blue & silver droid with 3 legs comes around the corner and greets Ahsoka.
"Hey there R2" Ahsoka says as she pets the droid, who hums & beeps in response before running into Yugi and pulling out his mechanical hand, which Yugi also shakes. He then learns that this is Anakin's droid that helps pilot his fighter and is also a good friend of his. As Ahsoka tells him this, another droid comes flying through along with a brunette who has her hair tied into two buns on either side.
"My heavens the guest has arrived" the golden droid says as he waddles towards Yugi & Ahsoka. "Good to see you again Ms. Tano & nice to finally meet you Master Yugi. My name is C-3PO" the droid now dubbed 3PO replies as he shakes Yugi's hand as well.
"Alright Threepio, that's enough. You and R2 go help Anakin with the rest of the dinner" The brunette says as she walks up to the two padawans.
"It's good to see you again Ahsoka" The lady says as she hugs the Twi'lek
"It's good to see you as well" Ahsoka says
"And who is this? Ani never told me he had picked up another Padawan, especially one so handsome" The lady says which makes Yugi blush & Ahsoka glare at the lady slightly
"My name is Y-Yugi Muto" Yugi replies with a stutter
"It's nice to meet you Yugi….My name is Padme Amidala"
