Just some clarification, because I know that some of you who played FE fates will be confused; Iron star Axes are like Hand Axes from awakening. Ditto with Steel Star Axes and Short Axes, Silver Star Axes and Tomahawks, and so on. It's not like the ones you find in FE Fates themselves, which are just range-altered, enemy-only weapons.

"...I'll be honest. I have a hard time recognizing Queen Mikoto as my mother, and Sakura, Takumi, Hinoka, and Ryoma as my siblings. Like, I know they are, we share blood, but the thing is, I haven't even known them for a full moon. Barely two weeks, and I haven't even been around them for a majority of said time."
"I can understand. I'm still not very used to Hoshido, myself. But even so, I-OW!"
"What just happened?"
"...A fish just leapt out of the water and smacked me in the face. ...Damn, you'd think those scales don't hurt, but I think it cut my cheek..."
Jiro sighed as he rubbed his face and sat back down in the water. Kamui, Jiro, Subaki, Kaze, and Kaden all sat in the river, washing the blood from the battle out of their hair and clothes. Rinkah didn't really care about the blood and was out hunting boars for dinner.
"It's all up in my tail! I'll never get all this out! It soaked up the blood like a paintbrush!"
"Calm down, Kaden. Paintbrushes can be washed clean."
"I know, but still! Icky!"
Kaze pinched the bridge of his nose. As helpful as an ally he had been, Kaden was acting too much like a diva for the ninja's liking. Subaki was also irritated, but not because Kaden's whining, instead because he was never certain if all the blood was out of his hair. As such, he was constantly diving back underwater and running his hands through his hair. While he normally took pride in his hair's shade of red, it was not helping him very much in this moment, and it was one of the few times he was jealous of those with less luscious hair colors, like brown or green. The group as a whole also didn't appreciate the prospect of having to sit around for a few hours in sopping wet clothes.
"...I kind of want to join Rinkah on the hunt. I wonder if my dragon breath can be used on game..."
"I wouldn't test it. You breath water instead of fire, that's what I heard, but it's still clearly potent enough to tear armor apart. You'd probably shred the poor boar into razor-thin flanks."
"It's not like I could, anyways. Not without losing control. I was just pondering the possibility."
"Good. Doing so would be a recipe for disaster, any way you slice it. ...Oh, damn, I just remembered. I didn't grab your dragonstone back in Mokushu."
"It's fine. Once I fine Azura, hopefully she'll give me another one."

"Oh, she appears to be a family friend. She lives in the castle with my mother... although come to think of it, I haven't seen her for a few days. ...My retainers have gone missing, as well."

Kamui sighed as he spoke.
"Yes. Felicia and Jacob. Felicia was a member of the Ice Tribe. If you've heard of the Wolfskin, you've probably heard of the ice tribe. She's a kind young lady, a few years my senior, but otherwise a good friend and maid. She's... not very good at her job, to be honest, but she puts her heart in it, and despite being a bad maid, she's an amazing fighter. Jacob, on the other hand, is calm, collected, and an exquisite butler. My big issue with him is that he can be very standoffish and sometimes disregards my authority when it comes to things like making tea or leaving me alone for a few minutes. Both of them have their flaws, but they're both good people at heart... which is why I miss them. I lost them at the bottomless canyon. I don't know where they are, or if they're even alive. Jacob was my brother from another mother, and Felicia was my sister from another mister."
"I really do hope they're okay. They sound like nice people. ...Although I wonder how they'd feel, knowing you made me your retainer in their absence. ...Wait. Do you smell that?"

Carmen and Elise did as they were told. Garon stood up from his throne and spoke to them.
"I have a task for the both of you."
"Name it, and it shall be done, father."
"Leo has been sent out on a task of his own; he is to find information on the Hoshidan strategists, and report back to me. His source is to be Mokushu. However, he has run into trouble. A group of bandits have taken the city of Mutar, a city in Highsbrough, and made it so that nobody is allowed in or out. While it is not directly in the way, it would be remiss of us as a kingdom to allow those pillagers to run amok without soldiers intervening. Your mission is simple; help your brother destroy those vile fiends."
"Of course, father."
"Um, father, if I may have a word?"
Elise spoke whilst shifting uncomfortably.
"Camilla and Xander have also left... are they out on missions, as well?"
"Yes, they are. Xander has been tasked with leading the charge against the Hoshidans in my absence. Camilla has been sent to the bottomless canyon, as that is where our scouts report Kamui to be heading. The moment his name came up in the scouts report, she was already on her wyvern, Bloodpool-bound. In honesty, I fear for my daughter's sanity. Her obsession with Kamui is... rather unsettling. However, back to the problem at hand. Make your way to Mutar and stop the brigands. Do that, and I will determine what your next task is. Now, go."
"Yes, father."
"Yes, father."
Carmen and Elise bowed and left. as they walked pas and closed the throne room doors, Elise looked down and sighed.
"Big sister, what is this world coming to?"
"...Chaos. It's our duty to ensure order."
"I know, but... how is conquering Hoshido order?"
"If the continent is united under one flag, it allows for everyone to be governed by the same laws and judged under the same systems."
"But is that really order?"
"...Come on. We've got work to do."

"Sisters, we've been waiting for you. I take it you know what to do?"
Leo rode up to Elise and Carmen, Elise's staves at the ready and Carmen ready for battle, with not only the Yato and her dragonstone, but also a fire tome on her hip and an axe on her back. Elise nodded immediately, but Carmen hesitated before doing so.
"Good. It's good to see you two made it here safely. Now, the man leading this operation is known as Remington. He used to be a noble, but experienced a fall from grace after he was imprisoned for... forcing himself onto his maid 30 years ago."
"Disgusting."
"Hm? What it mean to force yourself on someone?"
"Uh... Um, ah... Oh! Why is he holding the city?!"
Leo picked up of Carmen's desperation to avoid explaining to Elise what the noble did, and obliged the slight change of conversation direction.
"Apparently, he's doing it as retribution on the city that jailed him. The sick dastard claims that doing what he did was his "right as her owner," and "imprisoning me for utilizing what was my property for what was my right as her master is proof of how tyrannical of Garon is.""
"...I have no words for how twisted that is. He did... THAT to her, and has the gall to think it's justified?!"
"THAT IS WHY IT IS OUR SACRED DUTY TO PUT DOWN THAT DEMONIC BEAST!"
Odin took his sword from his hip and lifted it into the sky. Everyone in the vicinity looked at him, confused, as Leo facepalmed out of discomfort and embarrassment.
"Ugh... Odin, you've still got some learning to do about when it is and isn't appropriate to perform these sorts of theatrics. Speaking of Odin, he told me about what Niles said to you in the Woods of Forlorn. You have my apologies for that, by the way. Niles is like that to everybody..."
"It's... whatever. I'm just don't want to sleep with him."
"...What do you mean?"
"N-Nothing, Elise. Back on topic, we've been sidetracked. How do we get in there and bring him to justice?"
"Our best bet appears to be the irrigation systems. Our scouts have reported that some citizens are being held hostage, so it'll be a lot easier to save them if they don't see us coming. Jean-Marie, Niles and Iago are currently attempting to clear out said systems.
"Are they with anyone?"
"They trust that they'll be able to do it alone. Once they dispose of any guards down there, they'll report back here, and we'll enter the city that way. They've been in there for an hour, though... I hope nothing went awry."
"Prince, you know what they say about speaking of devils."
"The moment you do, they shall arrive."
Niles and Jean-Marie walked over, bows in hand, covered in blood.
"Hardly pleasant, but we completed our end. Now the underground in undefended, and prime for attack."

Strategy: The first order of business would be to run Elise over to Effie and Arthur to recruit them. Then make your way throughout the city, using Effie and possibly Carmen as tanks, and utilize magic to take advantage of Remington's poor resistance. Leo is pretty good against him, as is Jean-Marie. As you may have noticed, Jean-Marie was promoted into the Assassin Class: An original class that replaces the Bow Knight class for Outlaws. It utilizes daggers and bows, and can reach B in daggers and C in bows. As such, his newfound dagger abilities make him good at weakening enemies. Which can be crucial against the boss. Don't get in close range with Silas, Elise, Leo, or Carmen, though, because he had a beastslayer and ain't afraid to use it.

The assassin started combing through the city, searching for remaining brigands. Leo got up his horse and lifted up the deceased man by his collar.
"...He doesn't deserve a burial. Odin, Niles, throw him into the river."

Leo turned back to Carmen, Elise, Silas, and Elise's retainers.
"Effie, Arthur. It's good to see you here."
"Of course, sire. It would be remiss of us to not show up to protect our liege."
"Evil will never prevail with this hero of justice on the scene! No ruffian shall ever lay a hand on the princess!"
"Effie, Arthur, it's great to see you again! But... where did you go? I know you two followed me into the Woods of Forlorn."

"Yes... he was my retainer back when I was living in Nohr. A grizzled veteran. He was stern, but he cared for me. But after we came here, Hans killed him... He fell into the bottomless canyon."
Kamui stared at the canyon with a melancholic look on his face.
"That must have been painful..."
"It was. Like you wouldn't believe. And what Hans said implied that King Garon ordered him to do it. That's what first made me question my loyalty to Nohr."
"Ah. ...Hm? ...Uh-oh. We've got trouble."
"Hm? What do you mean?"
"Nohrians, to the West. They're staring right at us, and a wyvern rider seems to be flying towards us."
"...It's her..."
"Who?"
"Camilla, crown princess of Nohr. And my sister."
"...What do we do?"
"We can't fall back now. All we can do is push forward. Through them, if necessary."
Kamui took his nageyari into his left hand and walked forward with it, whilst motioning with his hand to his allies, nonverbally ordering them to stay back. He pulled out a small doll from the pouch on his waist and gripped it in his right hand. The doll itself was handmade, with purple hair and button eyes. As Camilla got closer, she lowered in altitude, and jumped off her draconian steed.
"..."
"I see you missed your big sister, dear brother."
"...Yes. Yes, I did. It's good to see you alive."
"I'm so glad we could meet here instead of Hoshido... I take it you know why I'm here, darling?"
"I have a guess. You want me to return with you to Nohr, right?"
"Precisely, dear. I've been heartbroken without you... as has Carmen, my dear brothers and sisters, and even father."
"...And I've also missed you all. But Xander... doesn't appear to feel the same, since he slashed my leg without a hint of remorse in his eyes. I couldn't stand up for two days because of him, and walking still hurts."
Kamui shifted to show Camilla the bandages on his leg. Since it didn't have a chance to properly heal, the bandages were red with blood from when his wound re-opened.
"O-Oh, dear me...! You poor baby!"
"...I can't return to Nohr. As much as I want to make amends with all of you, I can't. I'll be killed the moment I enter Krakenburg. And I just can't stand by Nohr after what it's done. Not after Hans, not after what father did to me."
"...I beg of you, please, return to Nohr with me. I'll protect you from father... Elise, Leo, Xander, and I will be the only ones to know. I'll do anything, my dear Kamui..."

Kamui sighed as he took a look at the doll in his hand before putting it back in his pouch and assuming a battle stance to face the Nohrians now charging towards him.

A varied team of Nohrians fill the battlefield. The same type of enemies tend to be grouped together; namely groups of Soldiers that Rinkah is effective against, mercenaries that Subaki and Kamui can deal with well, outlaws that Jiro can match the range and has an advantage against, mages that Kamui and Kaze can deal with rather well, a few stray cavaliers that Kaden can mop up quickly with his skill of Beastbane, and a large quantity of wyvern riders to the east that also has Camilla.

Jiro pointed toward the many wyverns, who had taken a defensive position, not allowing the Hoshidan troops one foot on the bridge. The one leading the wyverns had a dark determination in her eyes that whispered "If you take one more step forward, I'll force-feed you your own guts."
"...Hold on a second, Jiro. I see some people in the distance, behind the enemy line."
"...Come to think of it, you're right. ...They look Hoshidan. Let's hope they're on our side."
"Alright, Nohrian scum. It looks like you were actually telling the truth. How typical; selling out your friends to save your own skin."
"I told you, I answer to Lord Kamui alone, not the Nohrian army. Now can you please untie me?"
"...I see Kamui over there. Oboro, Hinata, untie the traitor and draw some attention."

Takumi, his retainers, and Jakob arrive on turn 10. Unless you're playing on Phoenix or are insanely overlevelled, you should not complete this before 10 turns pass. Oboro is pretty good for luring out the wyvern riders and taking them down, and Takumi deals effective damage. They won't go after Camilla, though, and you have to speak to them with Kamui to recruit them. Jakob is the only one who stays after the chapter ends.
General Strategy: As listed in the Enemy section, utilize the appropriate units to take damage and use your other units to finish them. Then wait out the Wyvern riders and wait for them to take care of enough Wyvern riders for you to handle. After that, take out Camilla and her retainers, but make sure to use one of your own units; if you use Takumi, for example, they'll be locked in his inventory until he rejoins the group later.

Kamui: Takumi?! You're here! But why?
Takumi: My retainers and I ran into a Nohrian who sold out his group the moment we spoke to him. We found out that a certain Nohrian Princess was preparing an assault here.
Kamui: Well, thank you for coming to my aid. Otherwise, I don't know how we would have gotten past those Wyverns.
Takumi: Don't celebrate yet, it's not over. Let's catch up once we take the head of this Nohrian Scum.

Takumi motioned toward himself, and without a seconds passing, his retainers were at his side, following him. Kamui turned toward Jakob, and the two walked over to his troop.

Rinkah pointed toward buildings in the distance. Their houses were made entirely of stone, and were clearly not Nohrian, but they weren't Hoshidan, either. Kamui was somewhat surprised by this.
"You actually met with another tribe leader?!"
"We didn't come over here, he flew over to us. Apparently, this Calix we're searching for is his oldest son."
"How come you bring this up now, and not back in Hoshido?"
"I don't like speaking on worthless topics, okay?"
Jiro facepalmed and groaned.
"...Think about it. We're a foreign nation. Demanding something. From the chief's son. And can't go back without it. If he doesn't give it to us, we have to fight the entire tribe, most likely! If you told us back at Shirasagi, we could have brought more men!"
Jacob stared at Rinkah with a condescending glare, nonverbally agreeing with Jiro.

The group marched toward the tribe's territory, the scent of blood wafting through the air as they got closer. It didn't take long for tribesmen to start heading their way, spearheaded by a man on a Wyvern. He wore white armor with red markings, and wore black clothes underneath. His hair was blood red and wild, looking as though it hadn't been groomed in years, and his face had a certain anticipation to it. In his right hand, an elegant axe with a purple head and a very light green edge. The man shouted once he was within earshot.
"You know what this place is, right, kids?"
"The Blood Tribe."
"Then you'll also know that you should get the hell out of here."
"We're not here for violence. I am Prince Kamui of Hoshido. I need to speak to one Calix."
"Buddy, I have multiple things to say. One, I am Calix. Two, I don't give a damn what you're there for. Three, Nohr wants your head. Four, I'm not getting payed until I bring it to the nobles here."
"Please stop and listen to me! I'm here to retrieve the lance, Vajra, that you stole. I don't want anybody to get hurt."

"The Flame Tribe is currently allied with Hoshido to fend off Nohr. And to fend off Nohr and break this stalemate, we need allies. I know that the Blood Tribe is currently allied with Nohr. However, if you assist us, this little kid over here will make certain that you get payed a hundred and seventy-five percent whatever Nohr is giving you."

Xander pointed toward the sky above the city.
"When the skies beget a cyclone, we charge in."
"We're here to bring our brother back to Nohr, right?"
"We're here to bring the traitor to justice. Whether it's bringing him back to Nohr or killing him, it depends on if he resists."
"Hold it, Xander. When father gave me my orders to come here, he told me that he wouldn't accept Kamui dead. He wants him alive, and so do I. Do not kill him."
"This is war, Carmen. Sometimes, we have to sacrifice others for the greater good. That is all that war is."

Carmen turned and walked over to Elise, who was approaching.
"...Do we really have to fight Kamui?"
"Yes... I don't like it, but we have our orders. I'll do everything I can to ensure that he survives."

"...Say, where's Camilla?"
"I don't know. Is... Is she alright?"
"...Call it a hunch, but I just know that she's doing well. But for now, we have to focus on our mission."
Carmen sat with Elise, hidden in the corner of the city, waiting for the signal. Eventually, the clouds appeared to start swirling.
"...Is that the signal?"
The winds started whipping around and the clouds were circling around a central point. This was clearly not a natural occurrence.
"This is definitely the signal. It's time to confront Kamui."
Carmen spurred her horse and made her way to the epicenter. She saw Xander followed by his two of his own troops, and moved to mirror his movements to perhaps intercept Kamui's forces. However, as they reached the epicenter, nobody was to be found.
"...What is the meaning of this?"
"That WAS the signal, right?"
"Where's the Chief? The Hoshidans? Kamui?"
"Brother. Sisters."
There was no mistaking that voice. She's only been listening to it for her entire life. She looked to the roof of the building, and saw Kamui standing on it.
"Kamui..."
"Big brother..."
"Traitor."
"I truly didn't expect you all to be here. Neither did I anticipate that I would run into our big sister at the bottomless canyon. None of this, truly. Yet, here we are."
Xander drew his sword.
"You answer for your betrayal today, Kamui. I'm bringing you in, dead or alive. With the assistance of the blood tribe, you don't stand a chance."
Kamui sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"...Big brother, please. I can only give you one chance. I just want to leave with no problems. Don't let this come to bloodshed."
"...Xander, I really think that we should try using dip-"
"He's made it clear from his interactions with Camilla that words won't sway him. All that can stop him at this rate is cold steel. Traitorous prince, come down and lay down your weapons! If you do not do so, I will end your life."

"...Xander. You've always lacked awareness when you hyperfocus on things. Take a look around you."
The swordsman by Xander's side tapped him on the shoulder.
"Milord, we have a problem..."
Carmen looked where the swordsman was pointing. Blood tribe members with their weapons drawn. She turned, and also saw more warriors behind her. They were surrounded.
"...Kamui, you're not saying you turned them, are you?"
"Not me. But yes, they have turned against you. I will offer one last olive branch, for I cannot stay the tribe's hand forever. Big brother, do not pursue me further."
"...Xander, this is a lost cause."
"I don't want to fight him, Xander!"
"...Kamui, under King Garon's orders, you are under arrest."
A bolt of dark magic shot out of Siegfried and almost hit Kamui, who barely dodged out of the way.

Objective: Defeat Kamui and Calix. Do not let Xander fall.
Strategy: Xander is pretty strong, but he isn't invincible. Xander stays in one place; his retainers move about, but if they fall, they just retreat, and aren't killed. You can actually get Odin to talk to Laslow to recruit him in-battle, although doing so with Peri does nothing. The biggest threats are Calix and Kamui. Calix is insanely powerful, and Kamui isboth strong, and has access to heals and utility. Kamui is the only unit who doesn't move; all others, including Calix, will close in on Xander soon enough. The best way would be to keep a slow pace, but not slow enough for the enemy to overwhelm you.
And prepare yourself for a lot of boss conversations.

Calix: I need some backup over here, Hoshidans! ...Wait a second, where the hell did they go?!
Soldier: Chief! They've been spotted right next to the edge of the canyon just North of here, fighting Nohrian soldiers! They blocked off all escape routes!
Calix: ...We have to leave, now. Everyone, get out of here!
Xander: Carmen, follow me! We can't let Kamui get away! Everyone else, stay here and mop of the rest of the tribe!

Kamui: They're holding out far longer than I expected...
Jiro: Um, Prince Kamui, we've got bigger problems.
Jakob: Milord! Nohrian reinforcements are approaching! They blocked off the way to the canyon, and are coming to flush us out!
Kamui: Dammit... Everyone, get out of here, now! We have to deal with the reinforcements!
Xander: You're not getting away that easily! Keep an eye out for stragglers! Carmen, with me!
11/18/834. Bloodpool, Nohr.
"Of course. I should have known they would do something like this."
Kamui observed the incoming Nohrian troops. To the west, he recognized the bald man in purple as Hans. To the east, Iago and a cloaked man. And to the south, Carmen and Xander, approaching swiftly on horseback. All exit routes were cut off, and they were surrounded. Calix and the rest of the Blood tribe were nowhere to be seen.
"At the very least, only Xander and Carmen followed us instead of all the other people down there."
"Kaden, I don't want to hear it right now!"
There wasn't exactly many options. The group as a whole were out of breath and separated from their support. At this point, Kamui only saw 3 outcomes. He could surrender, which would either lead to a slow death in Nohr's dungeons or a swift death at Xander's hands, he could fight, but inevitably be killed against the superior numbers, or jump into the bottomless canyon, which would be the coward's way out. He took his lance and prepared to die fighting.
"...Milord." Jiro spoke. "If we don't make it out of this alive, just know that it was an honor. My service was short, but at least I'll die somewhat redeemed."
"...Aye."
However, just when Kamui was about to run towards his fate, he heard a voice calling out from the canyon.
"Kamui, wait!"
He could recognize the pegasus and red hair anywhere. Hinoka was flying toward them, followed by three other people mounted on pegasi.
"You're here! But why did you-"
"I am so, so, so sorry, this is all my fault! Mother told me what your assignment was... to get Vajra from Calix because she thought he stole it. But it wasn't him that stole it, it was me!"
"You stole it?! But-"
"It was when you were kidnapped and taken to Mokushu. I knew mother kept a divine weapon for safekeeping in castle Shirasagi, and I found it. I unlocked the box, and took Vajra to go and try to free you!"
"But... then why didn't you tell her? Or anybody else?"
"I knew that she had meant Vajra to be used by you. While she loves me, there's no questioning that you're her favorite son. So if she knew I took the weapon meant for you, I knew that I would be punished. But I never thought it would turn into something like this! Here, take it."
Hinoka took off the fake covering of the naginata and handed it to Kamui. As he touched it, he felt a surge of power run through him.
"This... This is Vajra?"
"Yes. ...Hey! What's taking you three so long to get down?!"
"Oh... sorry..."
The three other people flew down. One appeared to be an archer with turquoise hair who had a bit of an empty look in her eyes. The second appeared to be a monk of some sort with wild brown hair, although how he could see with his eyes closed was a bit of a mystery. The third, Kamui recognized. It was Sakura's other retainer, Hana, katana unsheathed.
"We don't have much time, so I'll make this quick. Sakura told me you already met Hana. The woman is Setsuna and the monk is Azama. Both are my retainers, and can hold their own. I'll tell you more about them when we make it out of this alive."
Kamui nodded and stared at Vajra. He could feel its energy; as if it could cancel out the power of the Yato. In the blade, there were four holes similar to that of his sister's weapon.
"...The Nohrians are upon us. If we lose now, everything we did would have been for nothing. We WILL make it back to Hoshido, and that's a fact the entirity of the Nohrian army can't change! Fight for your honor! Your loved ones! Do everything in your power to show the Nohrian army the true power of Hoshido!"

Objective: Defeat Xander, Hans, and Iago.
Strategy: While defeating Carmen isn't necessary, it's heavily recommended. Since she'll only ever switch to her Elthunder tome when attacking from a distance, using range to take her down is the fastest way to get her out of the way. This makes Jiro, Kamui, Setsuna, Kaze, and Jakob the best units to fight her, since they can all strike from a distance, although you should be careful with Setsuna's shaky hit rate. If she becomes a dragon, she becomes substantially harder to hurt, but can still be dealt some damage thanks to Kaze and Jakob, Kamui's high strength, and Jiro's supplementary magic. As for the bosses, Hans has horrendous resistance, making Jiro the go-to, especially with Jiro's high defense in comparison to the standard Hoshidan unit. Kamui can deal some serious damage, but needs to be careful, or he'll take a ton of damage in return. Kamui and Jiro's roles are reversed for Iago; While Jiro's magic is by no means bad, it's not enough to deal a ton of damage to Iago, and he can't triple him either, and his resistance is also low for a mage. But Kamui is amazing due to Iago's lower defenses and Kamui's rather good resistance. Xander is best taken on by Kaden, although Kamui can still deal some good damage, although not amazing, due to Xander's whopping 22 total defense. When it comes to the normal enemies, this map is filled to the brim with enemy Nohrians. However, they're spread out enough to be survivable, and this is a ginormous map; there's more than enough enemies to get everyone to at least level 10, which can be used to easier deal with the bosses. There's a wide variety mixed together; encouraging teamwork between every last one of your units. Hinoka is amazing at tanking mages, but keep an eye out for the outlaws, and Jean-Marie especially. Setsuna is good for chipping down enemies. Azama can take a few hits and still heal to a satisfactory level. Keep all that in mind, and don't get reckless, and you'll do fine.

Hinoka: You have no right to question us! You killed our king, stole them away, and raised them to fight against their bloodline! And now that we've got Kamui back, we're the bad guys?! It's infuriating, the lengths you Nohrians will go to to deflect the blame!
Xander: ...You're the reason this war started in the first place. It's pathetic to not look at our circumstances. But enough prattle. Lay down your weapon and surrender. Otherwise... you will die.
Hinoka: I'd much rather die a death on the battlefield than slowly freeze in your prisons!

"We... We really fought them off! But..."
Kamui panted as he stared at the battlefield. As far as the eye could see, there were the dead bodies of Nohrian warriors. The stones that they once walked on were soaked in crimson, the gruesome sight burned into Kamui's memory.
"...At least there were some survivors... and we've got a new source on information. I know that it isn't even close to the value of the lives lost today, but we must move on. If we don't, we can't progress as people."
"...I know. ...It's time to head home. We've got what we came for."
"Hold on a second." Rinkah hoisted the unconscious assassin up by the hood of his cloak. "What are we going to do with this sack of crap?"
"Bring him back with us. I saw him talking to Iago earlier, so he might be a good source of information."
"How about we end his miserable life instead."
Hana spoke as she took her blade. Jiro stepped in-between the unconscious man and the young woman.
"Hold on a second. He literally just said that we're bringing him back to Hoshido with us. You're not deaf, are you?"
"Get out of my way, Mokushujin. I know who this man is. He's a Nohrian assassin who has killed well over 30 Hoshidans. Letting him live would be an insult to all the lives he's taken. So stand back and let me deliver justice."
"Hana, he is a prince, and you are a retainer. You have no authority in this situation. If he said that he's coming alive, then he's coming alive, whether you like it or not."
Hana said nothing as she attempted to run past Jiro, but was grabbed from behind by Subaki and lifted into the air.
"Let go of me! If you do not put me down this instant, I will report this to Lady Sakura!"
"Hana, if you're going to act like a child, then I'm going to treat you like one! If I must, I'll tie you up to keep you from harming him. You, of all people, should know the extent to which you are subject to the orders of royalty! So are you going to accept Prince Kamui's orders and act like an adult, or will you continue this childish charade and make a mockery of our liege with your horrendous behavior?!"
"YOU are making a mockery of Lady Sakura by letting this Nohrian filth live! If we bring him back, he'll escape and kill her!"
Nohrian Filth. All because he was Nohrian. Something he had no control over. Kamui didn't like this.
"He is NOT filth just because he's Nohrian!" Kamui shouted at his younger sister's retainer. "He's an incorrigible man, that is true of most assassins! But to imply that being Nohrian has anything to do with being a monster of a human being, then you're no better than the racially elitist Hoshidans that caused this war in the first place!"
Everybody fell silent. Nothing felt right to say. Hana was clearly angry- and a few others were visibly off-put- at his comment about Elitist Hoshidans being the ones starting the war, but the right words wouldn't come. Kamui silently picked up Jean-Marie, hoisted him on his shoulder, and motioned for everyone to follow him.
"...We're going home. It's been 2 weeks of needless bloodshed, and it's time to end it."
