Nico just wanted to get some ice cream, he did NOT want to get attacked by some bitch who thought she was hot shit.
His day started off unusually well, a walk with Will, Hazel was visiting and Reyna was coming over later. He'd just shadow traveled out of camp to grab an ice cream, Bianca's favourite (coffee-caramel) from a shop that he'd been visiting for close to four years now.
Nico had just placed his order when a girl who's style could only be classed as basic slut and proud walked in and made a beeline toward him.
"Hiiii, I'm Jemma, what's your name?"
Her voice was sickly as she twisted one of her yellow ringlets. Nico looked her over at the nymphomanic looking Regina George. He would be civil and ignore her.
"Nico." the ice cream was being scooped.
"Nicooo," the girl tested the name in her mouth. She shook her head, "So Nico, what are you doing here?"
The ice cream was being handed out to the counter, "Getting my ice cream." he walked out of the shop only for the girl to start following him. The girl started babbling as she tried to keep up with him and Nico heard an odd rhythmic clunking. He looked back at her, the clunking was in time with her footsteps.
". . . So do you agree that we should catch a movie?" the girl rounded off.
Nico turned into the alley to travel back to the camp when he noticed she was still there. He sighed, " Look, you seem nice enough but you're not my type and I gotta head out." He started twisting his ring, It was obvious what she was. She was barely trying to hide the fact that she was an empousa.
Jemma's face twitched, "You should be more open minded. Maybe I could help you see another type?" she was laying it on thick and Nico almost laughed at how wierd it felt to have a girl-no, a mythical beast- attempt to seduce him.
She started to prowl towards him, gaining speed. Nico chucked his ice cream in the air to distract her,
"What the?" He summoned his sword and sliced her in half without a second thought. the instant the stygian iron touched her overly spray tanned skin she was absorbed into the black blade.
"I'm gay, you dumb bitch." Nico said to the empty alley before catching his ice cream and shadow travelling to his boyfriend.
"Hey sunshine, anything happen while you were out?" The handsome Will Solace said as his boyfriend melted out of the shadows.
"Just some stupid empousa thinking she convert me away from you." Nico said as he met Will with a kiss. He was greek, he was gayer than most and he had the boyfriend to prove it.
