Trevors POV I went to go check on my girlfriend Maggie to see how she was doing because she was still getting over a bad cold
Later that day
I went up to the bedroom where she was she looked pale and sweaty she was wheezing she had a fever she had chills and she had a loss of appetite that's when I started to grow concerned with all the symptoms that she was showing I was started to worry that it wasn't just a cold I was worried that it was pneumonia so
Babe wake up I say softly I need to take you to the doctor
Mmmh she groans
Cmon I say once I got her up and dressed and into the car I drove to the hospital
(At the hospital)
Once we were called to an exam room the nurse did the basic stuff before going to get the doctor
20 minutes later there was a knock on the door a tall young man with a white lab coat entered the room he had blond hair and brown eyes with a stepascope around his neck
Hi I'm dr Roberson I'll be helping you out today so from what the nurse has told me you think your girlfriend might have pneumonia he asked me and I said yes
Ok well I'm going to do a quick exam Maggie I'm gonna start off by listening to your lungs so just take a nice big deep breath for me in and out
After dr Robertson listened to Maggie's lungs he wrote down some stuff then proceeded to grab the otoscope off the wall and looked at her eyes ears and throat
Alright Maggie now I'm gonna check your eyes ears and throat dr Robertson said and she nodded
After he looked in her ears he moved to her eyes
Eyes look good doctor Robertson said grabbing a tounge depressor and grabbed his penlight after placing the otoscope back on the wall
Ok now I'm just gonna have a quick look inside you mouth and throat dr Robertson told Maggie and she just nodded again
Ok open up and say Ahhh dr Robertson asked Maggie complined and let him look
Ahhh Maggie said
Throat is a little red dr Robertson said concerned and then felt her lymph nodes which were swollen
Ok mr wilder I believe that you are right your girlfriend does have pneumonia you did the right thing by bringing her in here is a note with the prescriptions that she will need to take for the next six days and make sure she gets plenty of bed rest the receptionist will tell you more when you go to check out dr Robertson said
Thanks so much dr I said thanking the doctor
That's alright it's my job hope your girlfriend feels better soon dr Robertson said
After the appointment it was confirmed that Maggie had pneumonia she was prescribed with two different medications and a lot of bed rest and for the next couple of days I took care of Maggie until she was nursed back to Heath.
