Me. The flu

My POV I woke up feeling groggy and tired my throat felt sore my body ached and i had a stuffy stopped up nose and cough so I decide to yell for Trevor

Trevor I yell making my throat hurt more than it does

Trevors POV I hear my girlfriend call my name and immediately rush to the room to find out what's wrong and going on

Baby are you alright? I ask

No Maggie says

Well what's wrong I question

I feel sick my throat hurts my body aches all over I keep coughing every few minutes and my nose feels stopped up and stuffy at the same time Maggie says coughing

Aww baby don't worry I'll take care of you it's probably a case of the flu with the symptoms that you have I'll be right back ok I say

Ok she replies groggily

I come back to the room with a thermometer glass of water a wet wrap a spoon cough syrup and NyQuil

Ok babe I'm gonna take your temperature now I inform her

She just nods

Ok open a little for me babe I instruct

She does as told and I slip the thermometer under her tounge

(Thermometer beeps)

After the thermometer beeps I take it out of Maggie's mouth and read what it says

101.2

Oh babe you have a fever of 101.2 but this wet rag should help bring it down I say placing it on her warm forehead

Mmm she mumbles tiredly

I know love just let me give you some medicine and then you can sleep and rest some more I tell her softly stroking her hair

She nods

Ok first cough syrup I say pouting the right amount in the spoon then put it to her mouth

Open babe I instruct her softly

She refuses and shakes her head no

Cmon please for me just open your mouth a little for me I plead with puppy eyes

She rolls her eyes and sighs but obliged and opened her mouth allowing me to slip the medicine in her mouth

She stuck her tongue out informing me that it tasted gross

I just sighed and chuckled at her dramatic expression

Ok babe now I'm gonna give you some NyQuil this should help with your sore throat and stuffy nose and hopefully the body aches the other one was for you coughing but this one will probably make you feel really sleepy so don't try to fight it off ok I explain to her

She nods understanding my point

Alright open your mouth again for me baby I say softly

She's to groggy and tired to argue so she opens her mouth allowing me to give her the medicine

Good girl love I praise here drink some water to help with the taste

She immediately doesn't hesitate to take a drink once she drinks a couple of sips she hands the cup to me And I set it down

Now try and get some more sleep I'll come back and check on you in an hour or so ok

She nods and falls back asleep

After a couple of days Maggie is no longer sick and is heathy because I nursed her back to help when she was sick
