Ainz stood up from his bed, he didn't manage to read a lot that night since is mind was occupied by the events of the day, he thought his friends' departure left him with a sense of loneliness and melancholy; but only now he realized how much more their departure affected the NPCs, they couldn't rationalize their choice and so they faulted themselves and no matter how many times Ainz said it wasn't true, they would continue to think about his friends' departure as a consequence of their incompetence.
If an undead like Yuri could be so emotional about it, how much pain were the others enduring every day? It took all his strength to do what he did yesterday but it seemed to have worked well as he had noticed a little smile on Yuri's face for the rest of the day; if it is for the NPCs he was ready to swallow his embarrassment to help them, it was the least he could do.
He left his room with those thoughts in his head only to find a tan skinned, red haired beauty waiting outside his door.
"Good morning Ainz-sama, I hope your rest was undisturbed."
She said in the most dignified tone she could master while bowing her head.
"Good morning Lupusregina, may I ask why were you waiting outside my door?"
Asked Ainz, Lupusregina bowed once more as her body went still.
"I… I apologize Ainz-sama, i do not know your program for the day so I didn't know where to wait for you if not outside of your room."
She explained.
"You could have asked to Albedo right?"
Ainz said, the maid didn't rise her head.
"Lady Albedo was busy and couldn't receive me… I beg your forgiveness if any of my action displeased you!"
She almost cried out as her body began to tremble.
"If that is the case I guess you had no other option, I don't mind it, I was simply curious, now let's not waste anymore time and let's get started with the day."
Ainz decided it was better to shift the subject.
"We will first visit Mare on the sixth floor to hear his report, then we will return to my office for some paperwork."
He explained the basic activities of the day.
"As you wish Ainz-sama."
She said.

As the portal appeared the two immediately stepped in.
{Sixth floor}
The sixth floor was her favourite floor, Lupus always liked the wild nature in it, quite the strange characteristic for a sadist like her, but there was simply something she couldn't understand of the forest that made her mind relax, she rose her gaze toward the blue sky 'to think the Supreme Beings created such a magnificent place, they truly are the greatest existences'.
They walked around for some minutes before reaching the great tree in the middle of the forest where the two guardians, Aura and Mare resided.
Ainz looked around spotting one of the dryads that worked as gardeners for the twin dark elves.
"Excuse me, could you please call Mare here."
He addressed her, as soon as she noticed them she bowed and run inside the tree 'such compassion! To address so elegantly a simple servant, no wonder Ainz-sama stayed with us even with all our defects' Lupusregine eyes almost began to water as she thought of how many times they failed their lord and he still forgave them.
It only took few seconds for the form of Mare to come out of the tree and run toward them.
"W-Welcome A-Ainz-sama!"
The boy in girl clothes greeted.
"Good morning Mare, I have come to hear about your report on the preparations, how long until we will be ready to receive our… guests?"
The dark elf boy looked around nervously before answering.
"W-we are proceeding a-ahead of schedule, i-I think that another w-week will be enough."
Mare explained.
"Is that so? You must have worked really hard."
The overlord said before gently patting the young elf's head with his skeletal hand, the boy smiled at the praise and blushed at the gesture.
Lupus in the background could feel her tights growing hotter and hotter, if only she was good enough even she could get such treatment, her whole body longed for that kind of attention 'Beast King Mekongawa-sama used to do it to me often…' she thought as the image of her creator came back to her mind, bringing both love and pain at the same time.
It didn't took too long before they left the sixth floor to return to Ainz' office, there she stood next to him as a perfect maid should while he worked.
Ainz passed through the various documents, may spoke about the progression of the next phase of his plan 'well more like Demiurge's plan… I think I will soon need to meet this famous magic caster of the empire… I wonder what type of person he is, he is said to be the strongest human magic caster…' as Ainz wondered about his next moves he noticed a movement next to him.
He turned to see Lupusregina ordering the papers he already checked into a perfect pile, usually this was Albedo's work but he sent her away for this week 'yes… how could I forget? I did all of this for the Pleiades! I'm so stupid!'
"Lupusregina, may I ask you something?"
He asked, his voice startled the maid who almost dropped the sheets of paper.
"O-of course Ainz-sama!"
The maid immediately gave him her full attention as her body tensed.
"How do you feel about what happened recently?"
He asked, the maid slightly turned her gaze away 'is Ainz-sama referring to my failure?' she wondered.
"I'm not proud of my actions, I know they caused harm."
She said in a weak tone 'does she feel so bad about having to battle Narberal even if it was just a show?... of course she does, she is her sister after all… why am I so stupid? How could I allow this to happen?' he screamed at himself.
"Lupusregina, what happened was entirely my fault and I shall take full responsibility."
He said causing the maid to gasp.
"Absolutely not Ainz-sama! I was the one at fault! There is no way my actions could be blamed on the last Supreme Being!"
She said with rising panic in her tone 'this is my fault! No way Ainz-sama could have predicted my stupid mistakes and prevented them! And even if he did it would still be my fault!' she spoke internally.
"I insist Lupusregina, I will hear no more of this, you will not blame yourself anymore! On the contrary you should be rewarded for your unwavering loyalty to Nazarick! Ask anything you would like and I will provide it if it is in my power."
Ainz said with a firm tone, Lupusregina could feel tears flowing down her face as her heart began to pound faster and faster in her chest 'Ainz-sama… how could you be so kind?... even to the likes of me… to forgive my errors and blame yourself… i… i…'
"T-that I cannot accept Ainz-sama! To forgive my errors in one thing but to even reward me after all this i-I cannot accept your kindness!"
She cried out as she bowed her head as low as she could.
"Nonsense Lupusregina, you are one of my precious friends' children, I already feel bad about how I treated you all until now, I'm sure that if Meko-san was here he would be scolding me harshly; this is an order Lupusregina, tell me what you desire."
Ainz insisted, the maid's knees gave out as she prostrated before her lord, those emotions were too much for her 'Ainz-sama this… if you continue like this… i…' some minutes of silence passed before Lupusregina regained a little control over her body and managed to seat on the floor, she didn't dare to stand up, both for the fact she doubted she could at the moment and because that was her place compared to the almighty god that stood over her.
"A-Ainz-sama… I would like… I would l-like…"
The words came out slowly from her trembling lips, she blushed crimson red.
"I-I would l-like you t-to p-p-pet me A-Ainz-s-sama!"

Lupusregina rose her head for the first time since she fell on the ground as a small smile appeared on her face, she got on all four and baby walked toward Ainz, as she reached him she removed her hat to reveal wolf like hears with fur as red as her hair, she looked indeed very innocent like that, she slowly placed her head on Ainz' lap and closed her eyes.

He moved his hand toward her wolf ears, as he began to lightly scratch behind them Lupusregina eyes opened and she left out a loud moan of pleasure 'this is! Ah! Ainz-sama if you do this I'm going to-'.
"Are you okay Lupusregina, was I too rough?"
Ainz asked.
"Ah! No! Everything is fine Ainz-sama! It just felt… really good!"
Ainz nodded as she explained and continued is previous occupation, as he continued to work on her ears Lupusregina felt a familiar sensation surge inside her until it reached its peak, she silently gasped 'Ahhhhh… Ainz-sama, now I'm all soaked down there… If Shalltear-sama knew about this… but I don't care… I too want to be by Ainz-sama's side forever!' she thought as she continued to enjoy her master's touch.
"Lupusregina, it would be better that what happened today remains between us two, okay'?"
Asked Ainz.
"Of course, anything for you Ainz-sama."
The sadist said, her heart beating like never before.
