A/N: I get this fandom is dead, but I've gotten into it recently, and I read on the Wiki page that Mac made Bloo bc he had to give away his favorite blanket at 5 years old. I personally thought it was disappointing but it's a kids show so it's obviously for kid reasons. I made this. No abuse mentioned or anything, just really really bad arguing.

Mac sat against his door and covered his ears, he hated the fighting.

His parents constantly argued, it was suffocating. He wanted one day of peace, a day of quiet, of family.

His parent's muffled yells and screams vibrated throughout the house. Something told him that this was one of the bad arguments.

When it quieted down all too suddenly, the 3-year old peeked outside curiously and cautiously.

"Get out." His mom said quietly but loud enough for his little ears to hear.

All his dad did was stare.

"Get out and don't come back." She growled. His father didn't need to be told a third time. He walked to the door and before touching the knob, he turned to face the woman.

"Bring me my stuff tomorrow." He said as Mac's mother nodded and he was gone

Mac brought his head in and slowly shut the door. All he did was stand there in silence before plopping himself on the ground. The young boy brought his knees up to his chest and sniffled. The conversation repeatedly echoed in his head. Tears ran down his face. His mom really didn't like him, did she? He had so many questions but only one kept pushing itself to the front of his mind.

Was he ever going to see his dad again?

Mac lowered his head on his knees and bawled.

Right now, all he wanted was at least company. Someone to help him feel better, like a friend. A friend that'd play with him when he wanted to play a game. Someone who'd help him out when he needed it.

It was a weird yet familiar feeling, being made. It was weird but normal, like breathing but it's underwater. It just felt natural, but it didn't look like it.

Now, this was just the opinion of one imaginary friend. His name? It's… what was his name? He opened his eyes and was met with a darkly lit room. It was clearly night, as day couldn't normally get that dark. The imaginary friend decided to not focus on that and looked down at his hands. They were round (like stubs) and blue. He looked at the rest of himself. He was, in short, a blue blob.

After this, he saw the boy crying in front of him. He had the urge to go comfort him, but why?

He decided not to question it further.

"Hey, you okay?" He asked.

The boy jolted in surprise and looked up. Tears tracks stained his face. He just paused and responded

"N-no."

"Why?" The blue blob asked as he sat with the boy.

"M-my parents were fighting and I-I dunno if I'm gonna s-see my d-dad again." He sniffed.

"What do you mean?"

"They were fighting a-and mom told him to get out and n-never come back."

Mac was tackled into a hug and he hesitated before happily hugging back.

"Do ya wanna play a game?" He asked.

"Sure… uh… you don't have a name yet…"

"Yeah."

"What about… Bloo! Not like the color but it's spelled B-l-o-o, but I think it should be longer." He said before thinking. "Blooregard!"

"How is that spelled?"

"I'm not sure." Mac shrugged.

"I want your last name to be Kazoo 'cause I like them."

"Alright!"

"And I want give you a middle name so it's gonna be Quintin-"

"Why Quintin?"

"'Cause it sounds fancy."

"Oh."

"So you're Blooregard Quintin Kazoo." Mac frowned at the long name. "Maybe I should just say Blooregard Q. Kazoo or Bloo. What do you think?"

"I think…" The newly named Bloo said harshly before brightening up. "...That Bloo is an awesome name!" Bloo continued to rant about all the awesome things about his name. Mac giggled before yawning.

"I'm tired." He walked to his bed.

"Then go to bed! Tomorrow we'll go do some fun stuff!" Bloo suggested

"Aren't you tired too?"

As if on cue, Bloo yawned.

"Yeah, I guess so."

"You can sleep with me." Mac said as he got under the covers and rolled on his side.

Bloo shrugged and walked over. Mac was half asleep already.

"Goodnight Mac."

"G'night Bloo." Mac said as he fell asleep.

Bloo shut his eyes and soon fell asleep for the first time.

From that moment on, the two instantly knew that they were meant to be best friends.

A/N: I think Mac came up with Bloo's last name and it's not Kazoo.
