So as I didn't really want to work around the whole Mafia traitor thing - The ADA and Port Mafia work together, Mori sent Dazai to the ADA as work experience (as such) at 18 he was clearly happier for it so Mori's never really brought him back to the Mafia. They are about 25 here

In my omegaverse universes, omega pregnancies last 6 months - the 12 weeks scan is at 8 weeks, and the six month gender scan is at four months, although the pregnancy isn't explored in this fic this was more for the timeframe within the fic

Cwtch/Cwtched/Cwtching - It's a Welsh word, here it's meaning a cuddle or hug (but like nicer, cosier and more personal than a hug if that makes any sense?) The word can also mean a small cupboard/cubbyhole

As a child, Dazai never celebrated Christmas. His parents were old fashioned and didn't care for the new traditions from the West, to him December 25th was just another day.

That all changed when Chuuya joined the Port Mafia. He loved Christmas, as a child with the Sheep he'd been drawn in by the twinkling lights and the magic of the day and had never grown out of it.

Mori had decided the two boys needed to live together, to make their working relationship stronger (and it was easier to have them both in one place). As neither of them had presented yet, an apartment was too risky – few took omega's and Mori didn't want them to get settled and have to move, so Mori had helped them pick and buy a house out of their first bonus. It was a detached, six-bedroom house, a huge garage for the cars and bikes Chuuya bought once he'd finally passed his driving test. As well as a garden that Dazai enjoyed tending to.

The first Christmas they spent together had been an education for Dazai, Chuuya taking great glee in teaching his stuffy partner about the joys of Christmas time. After that first year, all of their happy times together landed on Christmas Day.

It was now their tenth Christmas together, they still lived in the house they had bought at fifteen, but they were now a family of four. It was early on Christmas morning, and Dazai was putting the final touches to the scrapbook of Christmas memories he'd made for Chuuya. He hoped Chuuya would wake up before their babies, as he didn't think he could wait for tonight to have some alone time with his husband. He put in the last picture and wrapped the book. He made some adjustments to the 'Happy 1st Birthday' banners on the wall, and made sure the balloons weren't going to pop before the big reveal. The decorations clashed with Chuuya's over the top Christmas decorations, but it didn't matter. Dazai turned the lights off and made his way upstairs. He heard the toilet in their en-suite flush, and he entered the bedroom the same time as Chuuya.

"Merry Christmas Chibi!" Dazai excitedly whispered.

"Merry Christmas" Chuuya pulled Dazai in for a kiss. "Why are you up so early?"

"It's six, you've gotten me up earlier than this on Christmas before, and the babies have had me up at four most of this week, so this is late for me" Dazai laughed. "and, I was putting some finishing touches on the living room, and your gift" Dazai placed the wrapped item on the bed, before quietly walking over to the nursery, their babies were sleeping soundly. He made his way back to Chuuya with a grin on his face,

"As you're awake, wanna open your present?" Dazai asked as he returned to their bed, Chuuya was already cwtched back under the covers.

"I was hoping to go back to sleep, but you're not going to let me, are you?"

"Nope, how's the payback Chibi?" Dazai grinned,

"Hmm, I get to spend the day with all the people I love, so I guess I can catch up on my sleep tomorrow…" he pulled Dazai in for a kiss, "you coming back into bed?"

"No, I want to watch your reactions," Dazai replied as he settled in opposite Chuuya. "C'mon open it!"

"Impatient, aren't we?" Chuuya replied, as he started to ever so slowly unwrap the present.

"I've been working on it for months and I'm just excited okay?"

The present unwrapped Chuuya took in the cover, 'Christmas Memories' was written in gold pen. Chuuya opened the front page,

My dearest Chuuya,

Before you, I never saw the joy in Christmas,

now every Christmas is filled with more joy,

than I could ever imagine.

Love you forever

Osamu

Xxx

"It's beautiful Osamu." Chuuya pulled Dazai in for a kiss. He flipped it to the first page, and read aloud what Dazai had written. "The one that started it all – Chuuya bringing Christmas to a sullen teenager."

Next to it was a photo of Dazai and Chuuya in their work outfits, in front of the Christmas Tree Chuuya had insisted they buy. They both had Santa hats on, Chuuya was beaming and Dazai was glaring at the camera. Chuuya laughed,

"I'd forgotten about this, you kept insisting we were too old for Christmas, and pouted and stropped the entire time we were shopping, refused to help me put up the tree and decorate it. Then didn't you cry when I turned all the lights off and you saw the tree in it's full glory?"

Dazai blushed, "Shush, I'd never done Christmas before, okay?"

"I'm glad you humoured me, it made me feel like I finally had a sense of normality, that I wasn't a teenager housing a God and ability." Chuuya flipped the page, "The Second year – The one where we discovered mistletoe."

"Do you know how long I held that mistletoe over us before you realised?" Dazai laughed.

"You could've just asked you know?"

"Nope, I wanted it in on camera, and as someone wasn't happy with the first lot of pictures, it worked in my favour" Dazai laughed.

"It paid off though – look how nice this picture is" Chuuya pointed to the first picture on the page, they were dressed more casually that year, Chuuya was still beaming, and Dazai, well he was glaring less. The next picture was of Chuuya noticing the mistletoe, the third was Dazai pulling Chuuya close for a kiss. "I still don't believe you got our first ever kiss on camera." Chuuya paused, "Wait, I just remembered how we spent our third Christmas…tell me there's no pictures"

Dazai just stayed silent, grinning

"Osamu! What if our children want to see this?"

"I'll make a child friendly version." Dazai laughed.

Chuuya flipped over the page, the now traditional picture in front of the tree was first, they were both in pyjama's having been too busy to get a photograph before that morning. For once, Dazai was smiling. Chuuya read the caption

"The Third Year – The one where we finally had sex (in front of the tree *winky face*)"

Chuuya was silent as he took in the next photo, it was a selfie style picture of the two of them, the bottom branches of the tree visible in the background. Their faces were flushed, their necks and chests covered in bite marks,

"Why don't I remember you taking this?"

"Chibi was too blissed out to do much after we were uhh done. I promise that's the only copy"

"I don't believe it took us so long to actually have sex"

"Totally worth the wait. Did we even see the rest of our Christmas break that year?" Dazai laughed.

"No, no we did not. Just as well we'd bought a sturdy bed" Chuuya laughed.

"Sturdy beds, remember we slept in separate rooms at that point? We alternated between each room as the one set of sheets we each owned was in the wash."

Chuuya groaned, "I still reckon we should've burnt those sheets when we were done."

"Although deciding to move ourselves into the big bedroom was the best idea Chuuya's ever had." Dazai smiled.

"Well, it's not like you would've made that move."

"Mmm I don't mind," Dazai pulled Chuuya in for a kiss. "Chibi bought a much nicer and bigger bed than I would have."

"Shame we don't get to spend much alone time in it lately" Chuuya grumbled, pulling Dazai in for another, deeper kiss, running his hands down Dazai's side. Dazai pulled away

"Ah-ah, finish going through your present."

"But we haven't fucked since your last heat." Chuuya whined.

"I'm not in the mood Chuuya, maybe later?" Dazai felt a bit guilty pushing Chuuya away as it had been a while, but when he found out why, he knew Chuuya wouldn't mind.

"Okay, it's not like our little ones would let us get far," he laughed.

"Nope, I swear they have sixth sense for it."

"So, onto our fourth Christmas together," Chuuya said as he flipped the page. "The one where we our presents were presenting. Hang on? We took photos that year?"

"Yep, this first one" Dazai pointed to a picture on the page, again they were in front of the tree, in their pyjama's. Chuuya was looking at Dazai with a predatory gaze and Dazai was flushed and practically clinging to Chuuya, "I think actually captures your rut and my heat starting."

"I'm so glad Mori gave us birth control drugs in case we sought each other out when we presented, could you have imagined having kids at eighteen?" Chuuya looked at the second picture, they both look knackered but content, it was the first picture that Dazai wasn't wearing his bandages. The bright ring of a bonding mark stood out on Dazai's neck, "Wait… you told me we bonded on your fourth heat, you know the one just before the following Christmas, is that mark real?!"

Dazai blushed, "You were freaked out so much at being an Alpha and I didn't want to make it worse. I mean I was in a bad place then and thought you'd hate me knowing you were stuck with me for life." Dazai sniffled, trying not to cry. Chuuya pulled him in for a cwtch.

"Dazai, we'd been dating for two years at that point, if I didn't want to be stuck with a suicidal lunatic, I would've asked Mori to let me live elsewhere." Chuuya paused, "Is that why you kept your bandages on around me after that?"

"Partly, it was more because finding out I was an omega threw me off a bit and I just felt more vulnerable without them, but I got over it and you were much more in focus the second time you bonded with me."

"It sucks a bit I don't remember doing it the first time." Chuuya grumbled.

"I don't remember it either, it was just a bit hard to ignore the ache in my neck, it was almost as bad as the ache in my ass." Dazai laughed, "C'mon flip the page, the next memory isn't as bittersweet."

Chuuya flipped the page, for the next memory, Dazai had covered almost all of the space with paper love hearts. "The Fifth Year, the one with the three little words." Chuuya smiled as he took in the picture. They were in front of the tree, Dazai holding Chuuya's hand tight, his mouth was contorted as the picture had caught him mid-word, Chuuya's face was one of surprise.

"I went through your files for that one, you never told me you captured me saying it." Dazai murmured.

"It was such a precious memory, I wanted to be selfish and never share it." Chuuya explained, "I never thought you would say 'I love you' first. I'd been trying to build myself up to say it for weeks and it just rolled off your tongue."

"It rolled off yours a few minutes later though" Dazai smiled, placing a light kiss on Chuuya's lips. "I've never tired of saying it or hearing it. Love you Chibi" Dazai smiled.

"Love you to." Chuuya replied, "That's in my top three Christmases,"

"What's the other two?" Dazai asked,

"Ah-ah, we're getting to them…" Chuuya smiled, going back to the book, and flipping the page. "Our sixth year – the one with the double proposal"

"Ahh yes, the year Chibi decided to get a bit looser with how our picture was taken"

"Oi! You wouldn't have a scrapbook without my pictures, and I was only strict because setting the timer on my old camera was a pain."

There were four pictures this time, one was their now traditional pose in front of the tree. The next they had their backs to each other, hands up like fake guns, giggling as they tried to hold the pose.

"What exactly was the idea for this picture?" Chuuya asked

"I think it was buddy cops? I don't know, I just wanted Chibi's back turned for the surprise," Dazai pointed to the next picture. They had both turned around at the same time, Dazai was on one knee and Chuuya was facing him, they both had an open ring box in hand.

"What were the chances of us deciding to propose at the same time?" Chuuya laughed.

"Obviously it was our time" Dazai smiled. The final picture was of their hands, showing off the rings – Chuuya had picked a more traditional engagement ring for Dazai, a simple band with a small diamond. Dazai had gone less traditional for Chuuya, he had picked a ring with the diamonds inlaid around it, so it would be flat under his ever-present gloves.

"I've always known you'd be mine for forever" Chuuya murmured, pulling Dazai in for a kiss, he flipped to the next page, "and Happy Anniversary, husband."

"Hmm I think we're getting too many things to celebrate on this day" Dazai laughed.

Chuuya read what Dazai had written "Our Seventh Year – the one where we said 'I Do'. I'm still amazed we managed to get our Christmas morning picture."

"Blindfolded" Dazai added, "Kunikida thought I could make it through my own house without seeing where I was going." Dazai laughed

"Yeah, I'm glad he stopped your clumsy ass from falling down the stairs, your bruises would've ruined the pictures" Chuuya smiled. The first photograph was of them in front of the tree, they were holding hands, each wearing a blindfold, as they'd decided to keep their outfits a surprise. The second photograph was of them at the makeshift altar – they had chosen to get married outside, which was fine except it had started snowing an hour before their ceremony.

"I may have lost all feelings in my fingers, but I'm glad we went with your outdoor ceremony. It truly was beautiful."

The third picture was of them cutting their cake, the fourth was when they had gotten home, both dishevelled but drunk on the happiness of the day.

"We both look so happy" Chuuya smiled,

"Well why wouldn't we? It was the best day of my life, well best day I spent with just you." Dazai smiled. "I didn't even mind that our honeymoon got cancelled because of the snow."

Chuuya flipped the page, "Yeah but we made up for it the following year," Chuuya read the caption "Our Eighth Year – The one with the belated Honeymoon."

"I still don't believe you made us put up the decorations when you knew we weren't spending Christmas here." Dazai grumbled.

"I wanted you surprise you, and I still wanted our picture in front of the tree. It's just as well we got an artificial one, could you have imagined the clean up when we came back?"

"Hawaii was a good choice" Dazai smiled.

"Yeah, it was so relaxing" Chuuya took in the pictures Dazai had chosen – one in front of their Christmas tree, and two on the beach in Hawaii. Dazai had left off the bandages during the trip, and they both had a slight tan. The worries of work had left them and they looked happy. "It's strange to think that was the last trip and last Christmas we spent as just the two of us." Chuuya pulled Dazai in for a kiss.

"I wouldn't change it for the world."

Chuuya flipped to the next page, "I almost don't want to keep going as I know the memories will be over soon"

"There's plenty of room to fill it with the next ten years of memories Chibi"

"Year eight and a half?" Chuuya asked as he read the next caption. "Oh, it's when we found out you were pregnant."

"I know it doesn't quite fit the Christmas theme, but it was such a happy day."

"I remember that day, you'd spent two? three? days throwing up and we were both so tired. Yosano came to check on you and just laughed at us, handed you a pregnancy test and left."

"If I'd known it was going to be positive, I would have waited until we were more awake." Dazai smiled

"We were so excited neither of us could sleep" Chuuya laughed, "although we really needed the sleep."

"Mmm remember when we used to get a full night's sleep Chibi? They're worth it though."

"They're getting older, we'll get a full night's sleep again soon," he returned to the book, "last page, I almost don't want to turn it over, but it is my favourite Christmas memory," he flipped the page, reading the caption, "Our Ninth Year – The one where two became four," he burst out laughing at the pictures, as they were both home on parental leave, they had set up their Christmas decorations early. One photograph was taken at the beginning of December – a week before Dazai was due, they were both smiling, another was taken on Christmas Eve morning, two weeks after Dazai's due date, Chuuya was trying to smile and Dazai was pouting and glaring. "What a difference a few weeks make"

"In my defence, I was tired, uncomfortable and a little scared that our babies hadn't arrived yet."

"I know, you did so good Osamu, growing our two little babies." Chuuya pulled Dazai in for a kiss. "I guess the wait helped though, those two were ready when you finally went into labour."

"Still hurt like hell." Dazai grumbled. "But our little ones are so beautiful I think I can forgive them."

The next photograph was taken on Christmas morning. They were tired but bright eyed, as they held their two little babies in front of the tree – Dazai was holding their daughter, and Chuuya their son. The final photograph was taken a few days later, when they had been taking the tree down. Chuuya had created a heart shape with Christmas lights and placed their babies in the centre.

"Reckon we can recreate that picture this year?" Chuuya asked

"Hmm they're starting to get the hang of crawling, so maybe not…"

"I hope they enjoy their first birthday"

"They'll love it Chibi," Dazai smiled, pulling his husband in for a cwtch. As they parted Chuuya started to get out of the bed, Dazai grabbed his arm.

"Hang on, where are you going?"

"To get our babies? They're bound to be waking up soon."

"They're fine, and you've got one more page to look at." Dazai dragged Chuuya back down to the bed, and moved back to sitting opposite Chuuya.

"Okay?" Chuuya was confused, but sat down anyway.

Dazai couldn't hide his smile, as Chuuya started to turn the page. Chuuya read the caption aloud, "Our Tenth Year – The one where Four became Five (or more….)" Chuuya trailed off, not taking his eyes off the picture underneath – it was of a positive pregnancy test next to the time and date on Dazai's laptop, it was today's date.

"I didn't have a newspaper." Dazai mumbled.

"We…we're having another baby?" Chuuya asked in a whisper, finally looking away from the picture. Dazai nodded,

"Basing on my last heat, I'm about six weeks along." He smiled. Chuuya reached out and placed a hand on Dazai's stomach.

"Oh, you've got a little bump already." Chuuya's voice was full of awe.

"Yep, just a little one. I was feeling sick yesterday, I would have waited and done a test with you, but…" he trailed off.

"I don't care, I couldn't have asked for a better way to find out." He pulled Dazai in for a cwtch. "Thank you Osamu"

"You're happy?" Dazai whispered.

"Why shouldn't I be happy?" Chuuya asked, confused.

"We're going to have three or four little ones all under one and a half…"

"You're a great parent Osamu, I'm sure we'll be fine. I'll see if I can take longer off this time or only go in for missions that really need me, so you're not doing it all alone. Our babies are only going to be little once and I don't want to miss out on more than I have to. I can't wait to be a father again." Chuuya pulled Dazai in for a kiss, it was soft and full of love. "They're still quiet, can I give you my present now?"

"Of course!" Dazai grinned.

"Close your eyes and cover them" Chuuya instructed, "Now I didn't have time to wrap them, because work got really busy, so stay still a minute." Chuuya grabbed Dazai's present, putting it on him

"That's so soft Chibi."

"Okay…open!" Chuuya was sat in front of Dazai with a mirror propped up. He had knitted Dazai a hat, scarf and gloves, all in a dark purple wool. "You kept saying how cold you were when you take the little ones out for walks. I was going to make you a new coat, but I ran out of time…"

"They're beautiful Chuuya, and so cosy" Dazai grinned, pulling Chuuya in for a kiss, "and as I'm pregnant again, I'm glad you didn't have time. I'd hate for you to put in all that work and I couldn't wear it."

"Maybe next Christmas" Chuuya smiled.

There was a cry from the nursery.

"….and they're up" Chuuya kissed Dazai, and got off the bed, putting the mirror back in its home. He came back taking the items from Dazai, as well as his scrapbook and using his ability settled them on the top shelf of the wardrobe, "we both put so much work in, I'd hate for wandering hands to grab them" Chuuya explained. With the wardrobe shut, Dazai got off the bed, and Chuuya pulled him close, hand resting on Dazai's tiny bump.

"Thank you for my present, both of them."

"Thank you I always love wearing what you knit for me. I don't think this Christmas can get more perfect than this."

"Mama!"

"Da…Dada!"

Two voices yelled from the nursery, impatient that their parents were taking too long to come to them.

"Was…was that their first words?!" Dazai asked,

"I think so" Chuuya replied.

Dazai started crying, the emotions of the moment taking over. Chuuya pulled him in for a cwtch.

"Take as long as you need." Chuuya murmured, knowing they were happy tears.

After a few minutes Dazai had calmed down, and they went into the nursery. Their son and daughter were standing up in their cribs, and excitedly yelled when they saw their parents.

"Mama! Dada!"

"Happy Birthday-Christmas!" Dazai and Chuuya replied. Dazai picked up their daughter, giving her a good morning kiss, before handing her to Chuuya for a nappy change. He did the same with their son. Not ready to start opening presents, they took them back into their bed, Dazai leaving them to go to the toilet. When he returned to the bedroom, Chuuya was using tainted to let the babies 'fly'

"Whose gonna be a big brother and big sister soon? You are! You're going to have to be nice to Mama though, growing new siblings is going to take a lot out of him, and we want him to be happy alright?"

The babies giggled, not understanding a word Chuuya said, but enjoy the excited tone in their Dada's voice. Dazai sniffled, trying not to cry again, he'd forgotten how emotional pregnancy made him. He slipped into bed next to Chuuya, waiting for him to bring the babies back down and for the glow of tainted to go before cwtching him, wiping his tears on Chuuya's top. They each ended up with a baby on their chest, they were sleepy again.

"That was so sweet."

"Got to get them ready"

"Two more weeks and we can see our baby or babies, I can't wait"

"I can't wait to see how much our family is going to grow, although if it's twins again, I think I may have to draw the line at four kids." Chuuya laughed

"Oh definitely, I love being a parent but I don't think I could cope with more than that."

Chuuya leant over and placed a light kiss on Dazai's lips

"I love you Osamu."

"Love you to Chibi."
