Hey guys! So I got this idea of a family tree today after I came across a fanfiction from another fandom called Young Justice. Its called Robin's Family Treebystar-eye. Again, I'm bad at fanfics and suck at writing. English ain't my native language. But thank you very much if you read this fanfic.
Annabeth walked over, "Nico, what are you doing?"
Nico slammed his pen onto the floor and banged his head against the table, "Homework."
"Hey, I'm a daughter of Athena. I am pretty sure I can help with that."
"No. Its not, well, that kind of homework." He rubbed his eyes frustratedly.
"A family tree?!" Annabeth raised her brows, "What's so hard about it?"
Nico replied, "My dad is the underworld god. My mom died at least 70 years ago. My sister also died. Plus I never knew my grand-parents."
"... What about us? I mean the Camp. Everyone here?" Annabeth suggested.
Nico hesitated for a moment, "Yeah. Good idea."
"So your mom can be... Will!"
Nico widened his eyes, "What no! He's my boyfriend! I'll be dating my mom!"
Annabeth frowned, "Do you have any other suggestions?"
"Well no..."
"Your dad can just be Hades anyway."
Nico picked up his fallen pencil, "Okay... So you're my older sister maybe?"
"Hey. I'm honoured to be your sister." Annabeth put her hand on his shoulder.
"And Percy is also my older brother."
Annabeth blinked, "I'm dating my brother."
Nico shrugged, "I guess we don't exactly need to have a family meeting or something."
Annabeth looked over to his paper, "So whatcha write?"
"My dad is Hades. He is really dark and sometimes creepy, but he still got his dad moments. My mother name is Will. She is really overprotective and she is a doctor, and I love her a lot. I have a bunch of brothers, sisters and cousins. I have an older sister named Annabeth. She's really smart and helpful, and enjoys judo-flipping my older brother Percy. He is sometimes oblivious and somehow dumb. But he is one of the most loyal people ever. In fact, he has a strange addiction to eat blue cookies and basically blue food. "
"Hmmm... Hazel is your older sister. Frank can be a cousin. Plus Jason is also an older brother and Piper is an older sister. And Leo is that one cousin which really irritates the hell outa everyone."
Nico laughed at the last statement, "BUT Hazel is younger than me though, she's thirteen."
"Well she does act older sometimes."
"Can we keep her as a younger sister because I don't wanna be the youngest." Nico asked Annabeth.
Nico suddenly looked grim and sad, "Should I add Bianca in too. I mean she's still my sister and it'll be unfair to add her out of the family."
Annabeth sighed, "It's your homework." She gave Nico a look of sympathy, "I'm so sorry."
"It's okay." Nico looked at her smiling slightly.
"And sometimes I just forgot you're one of the youngest here."
"That's another unfortunate reason why Jason and Percy are so overprotective of me." Nico rubbed his temples.
Annabeth asked thoughtfully, "should we add Reyna as an aunt and Coach as an uncle?"
"Who knew? Reyna? An aunt? Wow that strangely sums up a lot suddenly." Nico smirked and wrote down a few lines.
Annabeth grinned, "Don't forget Thalia!"
Nico grinned back, "Ohh yeah!"
"So... Is it finished or are we missing more people?"
Nico groaned, "Do we need to change last names or something into Di Angelo'?"
Annabeth snickered at that, "Imagine Reyna Di Angelo, Leo di Angelo, Percy do Angelo and, Oh gods, Hades Di Angelo!"
They both burst out laughing at that.
"Heheheh, fun times."
Family TreeNico Di Angelo-I have a very strange and interesting family. I am very thankful for them.
My dad is Hades. He is really dark and sometimes creepy, but he still got his dad moments. My mother name is Will. She is really overprotective and she is a doctor, and I love her a lot. I have a bunch of brothers, sisters and cousins.
I have an older sister named Annabeth. She's really smart and helpful, and enjoys judo-flipping my older brother Percy. He is sometimes oblivious and somehow dumb. But he is one of the most loyal people ever. In fact, he has a strange addiction to eat blue cookies and basically blue food. He is also a really good swimmer.
Jason, another older brother, is Percy's best friends. The two of them always trolls everyone in the family. They even have this 'bro code'. Jason loves sky-diving and a couple of sky activities. He and Percy can be really overprotective over me too sometimes.
Piper is also an older sister. She is really talented when it comes to love and make-up. But of course, she isn't a make-up or love addict. She is nice and knows a lot of stories.
There's a cousin of mine, Leo. He comes around so many times that he is considered a brother here. When he comes, him, Jason and Percy team up a lot. The trio are best friends with each other. Leo loves making jokes and lightening the mood. Sometimes he really annoying and irritating. And he cooks tofuu tacos.
Hazel is my younger sister. She is really good at magic tricks and is an expert in illusions. She knows a lot about gems and crystals. Horse-riding is one of her many hobbies. She is the most close with another one of my older brothers named Frank.
Frank is strong and he is really good with animals except Hazel's horse which is unfortunate because he hangs out with hazel a lot. Although he is strong, he is actually really gentle.
I have an uncle and aunt. My uncle is called Gleeson and most of the time, we call him coach because he was once a coach in school which we all happen to once be in. He can be really encouraging. Like Frank, he has a good connection with animals but of course has a better relationship with Hazel's better.
My aunt is Reyna. She is fierce and brave sometimes. Reyna is actually a really good commander and leader because she was once a police. She knows fairness and justice. That's why, we all agreed that one day she should become a judge.
I have another cousin other than Leo. Her name is Thalia. She used to really enjoy sky activities like Jason, but due to trauma. She is now deathly afraid of heights. Thalia is goes to this group, rather camping group, which teaches girls like her about camping and nature.
Lastly, I have another older sister I was very close with. Her name is Bianca, and she is dead. She died after an accident in a road trip. Bianca was the closest to me in the family. Everyday it's hard to think about her, wake up to realise she's not here anymore.
So this is my family tree. We would sometimes have fights with each other, considering we have such a large family, but in the end. We'll always stick together. Family means no one gets left behind.

A FEW DAYS LATER--
"So you are Nico's family, welcome to the school. Make yourselves comfortable." Mr Ajujaf (the opposite of my fanfiction Breakout's teacher's name).Nico awkwardly stood up in the classroom.
He stared at the people in his family tree...
Annabeth seemed to understand the pain on Nico's expression and returned a look and mouthed: You good?
Nico seemed to be on the verge of exploding: Do I look good?Hazel and Frank started holding hands with each other. Hazel was about to kiss Frank's cheek...
Nico looked very alarmed and whisper-shouted to them, "CUT that out! You guys are just close Siblings!"
Apparently Hazel and Frank didn't get the memo because Hazel kissed Frank OK the cheek anyways and held hands with heart eyes.
The teacher who was still looking at his papers. Sorry, Nico's homework slash Family Tree.
"Hmmmm... So! Nico has describes you all to be an interesting family. So I decided that it would be good if you could all come over to class on Tuesday and share your home life..." He rubbed his eyes.
Hazel and Frank started kissing...
Nico whispered to them GUYS CUT THAT OUT!!He gritted his teeth at Annabeth and gestured to Hazel and Frank 'The Close Siblings'. Annabeth seemed to get his memo because she nudged them whispering some things.
Hazel's mouth turned into an 'o' shape and turned to look at Nico with a confused face. Frank did the same look as well.
Nico sighed and already got the question. 'We're dating, why are we siblings?'
He mouthed to them Just go with it! I had to do the homework and didn't want to leave anyone out!
Mr Ajujaf looked up from his papers and stared at Will, "I thought you were a mother?"
"What?!" Will raised his brow. He looked at Nico with the same expression as Hazel and Frank.
Nico mentally face-palmed and quickly said, "Err...sir. My... Mother is well a-a... Gender-fluid! She's currently a female now..."
Everyone immediately turned to looked at him. He messed up big time.
(Small note here, I just thought of Magnus Chase. I do support LGBT. No hate here.)
Will choked at that. Nico awkwardly said, "Oh err... Mom or Dad! Are you okay? I mean that flu did a number on you!"
He whispered to Will COUGH!
Mr Ajujaf asked, "But...-"
Annabeth came to the rescue, "She is not out biological mother! Our first mother disappeared somehow..., and our father,..."She quickly glanced at Hades in the corner. " Found... Erm... Will on the streets! "
" So your father just found a random... Woman or man in the streets and brought her home? "
Nico stuttered," Ye-yeah! "
" And then I started shooting water balloons at her! And then Jason zapped her when we first saw her! "Percy very unhelpfully offered.
Jason grinned," Yeah, that was an awesome time when we first met Will! "
Annabeth nudged them," Not helping! "she hissed.
Percy gave her a 'chill' look and whispered We got this!
Annabeth slapped him on the arm, NO YOU DON'T, JUST SHUT UP!Mr Ajujaf asked once again," I thought Nico had written the you all weren't violent? "
Everyone mouthed at him, You wrote that?Hey! What was I supposed to write? We constantly find ourselves in jail in life. Plus we fighting monsters and killing ? Nico half-mouthed half-hissed.
Leo mouthed Yeah! That's kinda true!Reyna nudged him. I am not keen on going to jail again!Piper mouthed You went to jail before?Yeah! No shit! First time was when I stabbed a random dude who was singing 'Feel this moment' in the streets! Reyna mouthed back with a hidden tone in which she did not just stab someone singing a song she didn't like in the streets.
Thalia mouthed I can vouch for that. Plus I did that myself too!
Try whacking a man on the head in a BTS concert! Coach Hedge mouthed and half-snorted.
Mr Ajujaf cleared his throat, "Is there a problem here?"
Piper replied, "No sir."
"So Mr... Hades!"
Nico's mind screamed OH SHIT!
"Are you the father of Nico?" The teacher asked politely.
Hades snapped, "Are you the man he once talked about who can't read words?"
Mr Ajuja gave Nico a somewhat indirect dirty look. Nico face-palmed. Why... ?
"So, can you all go to the school on Tuesday to talk about your... Home life?"
Before anyone could really say yes.
Nico quickly shrieked, "NO!"
His Teacher gave him a look.
"I mean... No, they can't. " Nico said it calming down his nerves, but it was hard when his mind kept screaming NOOOOOO!
"And why is that?" Mr Ajujaf asked, clearly annoyed.
Nico blurted out, "They're busy!"
Jason started, "Actually I j-"
"REALLY busy!" Nico shot Jason a look. He emphasised on the 'really'
Mr Ajujaf asked, "And why are they busy?"
Hazel blurted, "Cooking pizzas!"
"F-for the... Charity!" Nico tried to smile.
Annabeth came to the rescue once again, bless her Nico mentally said, "We're cooking pizzas for the charity."
She managed to repeat their sentences without stuttering and sounding lkke she was about to die or something.
"Hmmm... That's very nice of you, and I hope the children would enjoy your... Pizzas. I am also sorry for your loss. Have a nice day. Well, let's see, Miss Frenway's family..."
Hades already tp-Ed himself away from this very bright and ridiculous school.
The remaining members part of the 'family tree' left the school with the creaking sound of the large doors.
Thalia spoke up first," I need to go back. Don't wanna keep Artemis waiting. Nice family meeting by the way, HOW AM I ONLY A COUSIN?!" She manged to say all of that in one breath. The hunters must've learnt how to hold their breaths for long time to argue with people. Heh.
Nico started," Well... "
She had already disappeared. Nico muttered," At least she doesn't know about the deathly afraid of heights part..."
"I HEARD THAT!"
"She is afraid of heights anyways..."Nico frowned and muttered.
Coach cleared his throats," As much as I wanna talk to ya cupcakes. I gotta go see my wide because apparently she gotta another baby! "
" Really? Coach, congratuation!"Jason congratulated with everyone. They got another baby satyr to babysit soon... We don't talk about the last experience with Chuck...
He tapped danced with his hooves the way down the road, leaving normally unlike Thalia.
Will spoke," So Nico... WHY AM I YOUR MOTHER? Plus a second mother only? AND GENDER FLUID?!"
" Well-"
"HOW AM I ONLY A COUSIN!" Leo pouted.
Frank asked in a small voice, "What did the teacher guy mean by sorry for our loss?"
"Well... Years ago... I lost my blood sister." Nico started.
"Well, I'm really sorry about that Nico." Frank glanced at Nico.
Jason and Percy started winking, "Man... Almost forgot you are one of the youngest."
Percy ruffled Nico's hair, "When I first saw you, you were tiny and soo cheerful and geeky." He placed put his hand at the height of Nico's neck.
"Back then, you were this short. Look at you now, all grown up. I'm so proud!"
Nico concluded. This whole day was disastrous. Full of 'mouthing words' and looks. They pretty much communicated that way like for 50% of the day, dirty looks, confused looks, mouthing words...
"I SWEAR TO I CAN'T BELIEVE I AM AN AUNT?! AN AUNT!" Reyna shouted.
"Since when do you believe in God? I AM DATING MY BROTHER!"
"I'M DATING MY SISTER!"
"I'M DATING SOMEONE WHO ISN'T IN THIS FAMILY!"
"NOBODY ASKED!"
"What's a family tree?"
Nico sighed. Why why why? Did he have to use them to do that damn piece of homework. He knew there would be consequences.
Just because of one piece of homework...
The end! You know, I was kinda itching to say the 'aster' joke when I said disastrous. (Young Justice Fandom). Gender fluid idea just came by when I thought of Magnus Chase. And no, I am a proud supporter of LGBT. BTW, sorry if anyone seems OOC which is everyone hehe.
