Summary:
Is it bad Mugen Dai listens to Towai Light's beat, if that beat leads to the unhappiness of everyone in the world?
Genius boy, Towai Light.
Dai couldn't wrap his head around it. How could one boy, the same age as him, excel at everything? Drums, piano, guitar, rhythm games…
He made Kishi Kaisei, who referred to Towai Light a "Renaissance man" (whatever that meant), look like yesterday's nerd.
Susumu reacted the way the mom of a famous person would. The way a mom gushed about her child's accomplishments while apologizing for her unfavourite son's rudeness.
What were they feeding the genius? Brain food? Steroids?
Then there was Byuga. Walking around the human world in Sumode as Gotetsu, Blowdrone, and Basha did, when he was a Jyarikishin?
Capable of taking the wicked power into his body, yet also having a master!
Free not to wear the "uncool," fashion-unfriendly power-saving coats Waldark heaped upon his clients.
Free to spin between the wicked power and his master in the middle of the bout!
How was that possible? How was it even legal?
It was all so frustrating.
Dai wasn't over Towai Light beating him at Storm Hockey, Dash!Dash!Dash!, and Paradise Drop. He wasn't over the fact that the Next Musician World Tournament's celeb re-echoed his perfect score on Beat Hunter single-handedly (Really! Using a single hand!).
Most frustratingly, Towai Light and Byuga defeated them in Kamizumo.
They'd never come up against explosive speed or ghostly movements equal to Byuga's.
They'd never come up against the Blue Inferno, which shattered Gotetsu's finishing move.
The god of spikes snapped flaming phantom needles down on Gotetsu.
SO FRUSTRATING!
Towai Light didn't care if the Jyarikishin seized Kamizumo and turned the world bad, caring only for a world where he was strong.
Towai Light wouldn't remember Dai's name because the names of "boring" weaklings were beneath his notice.
Dai listened up and shivered.
Dai was getting drunk off the dark beat.
Poison is an antidote given the right dosage.
How could Dai boil for the notice of someone he hated this damn much?
