Spitfire Jayne comes to play, and Martha fights Manjeet.

At Martha's instructions, Bethany Vreeke sprinted towards the black pegasus, clutching Jayne's medallion in her hand.

Seeing this, an enraged Manjeet prepared to vaporise the little girl. But before she could speak the incantation, a machete blade flashed from behind and took her head off with a swift stroke.

Jurgen the Brutal sneered at the headless mage, who was now staggering aimlessly around the room. The steel machete had been able to maim her, but it could not kill her. Pulling out the golden revolver, he prepared to end this business once and for all.

He wouldn't get the chance. A horde of flying monkeys suddenly appeared around him, ready to protect their mistress. Seizing his hands and feet, they dragged the conqueror out of the building and lifted him into the air.

A hundred feet above Cour Napoléon, Jurgen tried to break free from the monkeys' grasp. In the scuffle, one of the animals bit his hand, causing him to release the firearm in pain. Gleaming like an evening star, the gilded weapon fell down, down, down towards the courtyard below…

… and straight into the hands of Spitfire Jayne. Bethany Vreeke had changed into her Jumanji avatar, and was riding Milo Walker into battle.

Instinctively, the little girl accessed her newfound skills, making short work of Manjeet's airborne minions. One by one, the monkeys dropped from the sky thanks to a well-placed bullet through the heart. Jurgen watched in amazement as the child he'd saved merged with the character from his memories, proving once and for all that this was, in fact, a game.

As the monkeys fell, Bethany ordered Milo to pick up the flightless Jurgen. They managed to catch him just as the primates carrying him fled the scene in terror.

On horseback, Jurgen took a moment to catch his breath. "Thank you, little one," he said gratefully. "I owe you my life."

"No problem!" answered Bethany, beaming at him through Spitfire Jayne's face. "I guess that makes us even!"

Milo whinnied triumphantly, and the three players returned to the scene of the action.

Back in the Mona Lisa room, the remaining players were locked in battle with a fully-regenerated Manjeet and her monkeys.

Spencer was using a machete to cut down the animals left and right. With his other hand, he wielded a boomerang to devastating effect.

In a corner, Alex was shielding Bethany Walker from attack while picking off the monkeys with a pistol.

Elsewhere, Jake and Eddie were fighting back-to-back, using the former's tranquiliser darts to put the primates to sleep.

In the centre of the room, Martha was engaged in hand-to-hand combat with Manjeet, using nunchuks and her avatar's martial arts skills to stay alive.

"You're a killer of men, Ruby Roundhouse," taunted the sorceress. "And I am no man."

"Well, I wasn't about to assume your gender!" Martha replied, scrambling for a witty response.

The battle dragged on for a good while, with neither side gaining the advantage. Martha landed a number of hits on her opponent, and suffered several blows herself. Unfortunately, she soon felt fatigue setting in, while Manjeet seemed to be as fresh as ever. Without a new strategy, she realised, she and her Team were doomed to lose.

That momentary lapse was all Manjeet needed. In an instant, the sorceress conjured up a knife and plunged it straight into Martha's abdomen. The martial artist gave a cry of pain as the blade pierced through, but it was quickly silenced as her body turned to marble.

"You were good," said Manjeet, giving the new statue a fond pat, "but not good enough." With a snap of her fingers, Martha's form was instantly placed among the Greek and Roman museum exhibits.

The sorceress barely had time to savour her victory when a missile suddenly struck her from behind, slamming her hard into the room's southern wall.

Franklin 'Mouse' Finbar strode confidently into view, a freshly-fired bazooka on his shoulder.

Furious, Manjeet picked herself up from the rubble and turned to face her attacker. Telekenetically lifting him into the air, the sorceress pulled him towards herself in a boa-like grip.

"You fool," she spat contemptuously, "what did you hope to achieve by your attack? Don't you know that your weapons are useless against me?" As she spoke, she tightened the constriction on her prey.

"As… a… matter… of… fact, ma'am… I do," choked out Fridge, with a strange grin. He turned towards an unseen ally and called out her name.

"BETHANY?"

Manjeet took her eyes off Fridge, and to her horror, spotted a trenchcoat-clad blonde training a golden gun directly at her face.

The sorceress tried to react, but it was too late. Spitfire Jayne fired a golden bullet into Manjeet's right shoulder, forcing her to let go of Fridge. The precious metal burned like hot acid within the mage's flesh, causing excruciating pain.

"That's for my friends!" shouted Bethany Vreeke.

Another gunshot. This time, the bullet lodged in her abdomen, driving her to her knees.

"That's for my mom!" Bethany yelled. The time for vengeance had truly come, and the sorceress needed to answer for the deaths she'd caused.

Feebly, Manjeet tried to muster her strength for a final assault. But the sharpshooting warrior would not permit her to do so.

"And this," she said finally, "is for my BABY BROTHER!"

Bethany fired again, and a golden bullet pierced the sorceress' skull. A moment later, Manjeet the Macabre crumpled to the floor, dead.

In stunned silence, the Team moved closer to examine the body of their adversary. As they watched, Manjeet's corpse slowly dematerialised into the familiar green smoke, leaving behind two gemstones as it cleared.

"It's the Jaguar's Eye and the Monkey's Egg," remarked Spencer. "The two stones which she had."

Upon hearing Spencer mention the stones, B1 suddenly remembered something.

"Bethany," she said, turning to her younger counterpart, "do you have the Falcon Jewel with you?"

Turning around, B2 found a brown leather purse hanging from her shoulder strap. She reached into it and pulled out an amber-coloured gem.

"Is this what we were looking for?" she asked.

A loud cheer erupted from the Team. "YES!" whooped Jurgen. "It's the Falcon Jewel you promised to bring me, Jayne!"

"Hooray!" giggled B2, a little girl once more. "We win! This was a fun game, Daddy – can we play it again sometime?"

"We haven't won yet," Fridge reminded the others. "We had to survive JUMANJI and call out its name, remember?"

"Well, then, let's do it!" said Alex enthusiastically. "I can't wait to see Alice and Andy again!"

"Agreed," said Martha, smiling. It had all been worth it in the end. "Let's say JUMANJI at the count of three. Ready?"

"Ready!" cried the others.

"One... two... three!" she counted.

"JUMANJI!" yelled the Team.

"UNO," said Jake.

Everyone turned to glare at him.

"Just kidding," laughed the repairman. "JUMANJI!"
