We arrived at the house too soon. It felt as if I was being guided towards it.

I was looked up at the new (old) house. It was a very simple terrace house with a blue door and a small front garden. Not too small but not too large.

When I opened up the front door I was shocked at the space inside. We had just stepped into a large open living room slash dining room. I could just see the kitchen in the back of the house.

"Mummy?" Molly smiled, "Mum can I show Mr Hunt my room? Please?"

I look down at her and then up to the male figure of Mr Hunt now standing in my doorway.

"Very homely Bolls," was he joking?

"Well, I am going to put on the kettle for some tea. Gene do you want something to drink? I think we have tea and coffee in." I say walking into the kitchen. I look around inside the fitted cabinet on one of the walls. I found a box of tea bags PG Tips and some coffee in the cardboard by the kettle. I look at it. "What is this going to cost me."

"A cup of tea if you would Bolls," I heard Gene call from upstairs.

"Milk? Sugar?" I call back.

"Lots of milk and just two sugars," he calls down.

I have never been one for putting milk in my tea. I mean I will drink it if a person does put milk in my tea but it tastes god… just yuck. I reach for the fridge door and open the milk. It smelt fine so I poured it into one of the cups. The kettle was still heating up the water. Back in the future, present? Future I can make a coffee and other hot drinks in less than a minute. But this kettle was taking ever and was loud. Maybe I had put too much water in it.

"Mum, can I have some juice? Please?" Molly came skipping into the kitchen.

"In the fridge, Molly," she went for the apple. I knew that she would. I would have too. The rest appeared to be bright orange or red.

Finally the kettle whistled and I poured it over the the tea bag before pouring in the milk in and a ton of sugar. I used the sugar spoon to fish out the tea bag and called out.

"Gene your tea is ready," Gene came into the kitchen. Drink some of the tea and then put the cup down.

"That is a great tea," Then drunk the rest in one gulp. "I think I should go. I will see you in my office first thing tomorrow morning at 8.30."

And with that, he was gone. ….
