Part 1:
"So, time to return?" Artemis asked her recently wedded husband
"Unfortunately," Dick replied with a smirk, "Kaldur called me yesterday, I forgot to tell you. He wants me to become the team's leader."
"Really? Dick that's amazing!" Artemis cried, giving Dick a solid punch on the ribs in her excitement.
"Ow!" He cried, "What was that for?"
"Not telling me sooner, bird-brain."

"Tigress- B05; Nightwing- B01," the zeta beams announced as they arrived at the cave.
The pair entered the briefing room side-by-side, smiling happily. Aqualad was there waiting for them with the newer members of the team.
The three adults had agreed not to tell the team of their new leadership until Nightwing actually arrived at the cave. Kaldur had explained that Nightwing was something of a legend amongst the younger heroes, so they were all looking forward to their reactions.
The team was already gaping at them as soon as they entered. Dick grinned and greeted Kaldur, before saying hello to his younger brother. Tim was actually the only member to know of his real purpose for being there.
Standing in front of the group, slightly behind Kaldur, Tigress grasped her husband's hand, giving it a small squeeze of encouragement.
Kaldur began to address the team, who were glancing at Nightwing during his announcement.
"As you know," he explained, "I will be taking my mentor's place in the Justice League. Because of this, the Team is going to need a new leader." He briefly glanced behind him at Nightwing, "Nightwing will be taking over as leader of the Team."
All heads turned in his direction. Some of them were practically bouncing up and down in excitement.He grinned at them. This was going to be fun.
