Hey, VLAUH here!

First, English isn't my main language, I'm sorry for any mistake. By the way, I'm using a translator and my knowledge on the language (which it isn't that much) for experience purpose.

Second, this fic should not be taken seriously. It was a dream I had, and a friend convinced me to publish it. He said 'I want to read it with your wonderful storytelling' (He's probably just making fun of me, but it was enough to convince me haha).

Third, the fic doesn't make much sense, I changed a couple of things to make them more logical, but I'm still respecting the dream.

Anyway, if anyone is reading this. Here goes nothing!

Disclaimer: This is a work of fan fiction using characters from the Steins;Gate world, which is trademarked by 5pb. and Nitroplus. This fic is the only thing I own.

"Father, come on, we don't have much time." Suzuha was sitting on the stairs of the time machine. With her foot, she was tapping the floor (slightly) anxiously.

"Suzu, your daddy is working as fast as possible. Maybe if you said something like 'Father, move your hands faster so you can be more effective' in a soft voice, you could motivate me much more."

Daru began to daydream, while Suzuha looked at him with disgust and wondered, 'How did he make my mother fall in love with him?'

However, Suzuha really admired her father; he was willing to help her without any hesitation. And he was really doing everything he could to help her.

"There's something that intrigues me, though. Why should I hack Stratfor?" Daru slowed down his hands to focus on the words of his future daughter.

"We must put the files I brought from the future on their servers, so that their research on Time Travel is thwarted," she explained.

"Okay, but why do these archives look like blueprints for building something?"

The girl next to him was silent for a couple of seconds.

"Suzuha?" Daru stopped typing to look at the person next to him.

The girl's expression was somber, worried. For some reason, she looked lost, as if she didn't know what was happening.

She quickly changed her expression, and flashed a big smile.

"I don't know, but if father sent me, I guess it's a good thing. You don't trust your daughter?" Next, Suzuha made a sad face and pretended to cry.

Daru raised a fist to the sky and with all his strength shouted, "Of course I do!", and instantly typed again at unrealistic speeds.

Suzuha simply flashed a sly smile.

"JACKPOT!" Daru shouted as he celebrated.

"Dad, you're amazing!" Suzuha walked up to the laptop screen.

"Suzu, flatter your father more," he said with a perverted smile.

Suzuha ignored her father and got into the time machine. "We're all set, let's go!"

"Let's go? Where to?" Daru said confused.

"To the future!" With great difficulty, Suzuha pushed her father into the cabin of the big Satellite.

The trip was a success, or so it seemed, Suzuha was quite calm.

The big door of the machine opened, letting all the light outside in.

The first one to come out was Daru, and he looked around. They were still at Radio Kaikan, but the place felt strange.

The atmosphere felt Grey, so to speak. From the rooftop, Daru couldn't make out much of the street, but there didn't seem to be any people.

"Em Suzu, are you sure we're at the right time?"

Daru got no answer from his daughter, so he turned around to see what was going on. However, he was surprised to find out that the time machine was gone.

"Uh?! Suzuha?" Daru began to flutter his hands around the place, perhaps the machine's camouflage had been activated. But that didn't explain his daughter's absence.

After a while, Daru accepted that the machine was gone, so, surrendering, he decided to walk around a bit in this unknown time.

At the moment he went out, his suspicions were confirmed, there was not a single soul in the place. Not even inside the premises. Everything was so desolate.

Daru continued walking until he reached the Kanda River, the water was relatively good, not completely clean, but clean enough for one to see his reflection in it.

"Is my face really that big?" he wondered as he stretched his cheeks.

"I told you you had to exercise more."

Daru was startled by the sudden voice.

"SUZUHA!?" The scare caused him to lose his balance and almost fall into the river, but Suzuha was faster and managed to hold him down before he fell.

"Ugh, thank you, if I didn't have my little girl, I don't know what I would hav-"

"I'm sorry father, but the voice in my head is telling me to do it, that this will bring peace to the world." Suzuha had pulled out her gun, and was pointing it at Daru.

"Suzu, don't listen to it, you're a strong girl. Don't believe those lies." Daru slowly tried to approach her daughter, but Suzuha reaffirmed her grip on the gun to keep him from coming closer.

"I'm sorry, father, I'm not going to hurt you, but I can't be their puppet anymore. The files I made you upload, were plans for the creation of a time machine, we made Stratfor dominate the market by obtaining it".

"Suzu..." Daru was speechless, he had been tricked. "What if we go back to the past and avoid uploading those files?"

"We can't, I destroyed the machine just as AGHH!" Suzuha collapsed, and started banging her head.

"SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!" Blood started gushing from her forehead.

In a sudden movement, Suzuha got up from the ground and jumped into the Kanda River.

"SUZUHA!" Daru tried to grab her before she jumped, but he wasn't even close to making it. He simply saw Suzuha's body being washed away, not knowing if she was alive or not.

With nothing else to do, Daru took the gun. He had never held one in his hands before, they were heavier than they looked and the mere fact of having to use it gave him the shivers. He started walking towards the Future Gadget Lab, perhaps one of his friends was still alive.

The building felt different, the CTR store was completely abandoned. The strange thing was that there were solar panels installed in it.

The label was still on the mailbox, although it had worn out a bit.

The door was not locked, so Daru entered without any problem, even though the place was completely dark.

"STOP THERE!" A female voice was heard shouting in the room.

"EYK!" Daru gave a little shout, because in addition to hearing the voice, a red laser was being aimed at him.

"Who are you and what do you want in this place?"

That voice, to Daru, seemed very familiar. Without answering the questions, he decided to ask "Makise?".

The lights suddenly came on, causing Daru to have to cover his eyes from the sudden flash.

"Hashida?" Kurisu came out of hiding and quickly embraced his friend.

"I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad you're here with me," she said with a sincere smile.

"What happened, where is Okabe?"

"Okabe... he is no longer with us, he did everything possible for me to survive. He trusted me to change the past and I plan to respect that wish." Tears began to flow from Kurisu's eyes, she quickly wiped them with her sleeve and continued talking.

"He made all this possible, got parts to build solar panels to supply the building with energy. Together we rebuilt The PhoneWave (Name subject to change), I always hated that last part, but nowadays it is one of the few things that make me feel that he is with me. How stupid, Makise Kurisu putting his faith in things without proof, and in feelings," she chuckled a little, but you could still feel the pain in his voice.

"So you were going to send a D-Mail?"

"Exactly, but I couldn't send it. I don't know how to avoid this, it was all very sudden."

"I think I can help with that." Kurisu just reacted without understanding what he meant.

"I was tricked by Suzuha, who was brainwashed. She made me give the plans for the time machine to Stratfor in 2010, and brought me to this time."

"So that's what happened, that's why we never saw you or Suzuha again. Mayuri became very sad."

"And Mayuri, is she around somewhere?" Daru started looking around the lab. But Kurisu's silence was revealing enough.

"Oh, she too..."

"Yes."

"We are going to change this future. What should I do?" Daru said resolutely.

"Thanks to the solar panels, the 42' CTR can still be turned on, it must be ON to do the Lifter function."

"Okey-Dokey, leave it to me." Daru quickly left the lab.

Kurisu, headed for the Development Room. There she took a picture, one where she and Okabe were together holding hands.

"I really miss you," she said and stroked the picture, then she put it in her pocket.

"Makise, the TV is already on."

Daru was back, he looked a little tired, he probably ran down the stairs.

"All right, then we'll send the D-Mail to your phone in 2010. What should we put on it?"

"Don't trust Suzuha," he said with a straight face.

Kurisu prepared everything, all they needed to do was turn on the microwave and they could avoid this future. Daru already had the message ready to send.

"DO NOT MOVE"

"HUH?!" Daru and Kurisu were surprised by the sudden voice.

"Professor Leskinen?!" Kurisu was surprised to see the blond man in front of his eyes.

"Kurisu, my best student, I am sorry that things ended this way," he said faking a sad tone.

PUM

The body of Makise Kurisu fell lifeless to the ground.

"And you young hakka, thanks to you, we were able to achieve all this. We will give you the privilege to say your last words.

Daru started walking towards one of the artifacts they had created at the time.

"It's HACKER, not HAKKA!" In one quick move, Daru activated the Moad Snake, generating a great deal of steam.

He quickly turned on the microwave and waited for lightning to strike the room.

"SHOOT!" Daru could hear Leskinen screaming, and bullets started raining, some hitting the walls, some hitting the microwave and some hitting Daru's body.

Before he was completely defeated, with his last effort, he pressed the send button on his phone.

"If Okarin were here, he would have felt the change already.

Daru fell to the floor and with a smile on his face, he perished to his wounds.

All right, we're coming to the end. I really don't know what to think about this story, it was literally a dream I had.

Again, I am sorry for the English that was handled, I am still studying it, and the punctuaction of the language too.

If anyone reads this, I hope you like it. Have a nice day!

-VLAUH says goodbye.
