Summary:
Teenage Lan Wangji keeps a journal to help him organize his thoughts.
Then Wei Ying shows up, and throws his carefully-ordered world into chaos. He has no idea what's happening; what is wrong with him; Wei Ying must be doing something to cause this - clearly, it's all his fault! Wangji's body just keeps doing strange things without his permission and it's all very confusing and upsetting.
With a little help, he eventually figures things out. But next thing he knows; before he even notices what he's been doing, he realizes all of his journal entries have started turning into porn. It's all very disturbing; especially because it just keeps happening.
Eventually he gives in and starts keeping a record of every smutty thought he has; every last filthy detail about what he wishes he could do to Wei Ying. (He's the only one that will ever read it, so it's fine. It'll just be his dirty little secret.)
Except that Wei Ying wants to know everything about Lan Zhan; in the course of his snooping, he just might end up learning more than he bargained for!
Introduction: Why He Writes
Lan Wangji was not a person given to loquaciousness.
He did not enjoy talking, and preferred to save his speech for things that were truly important. As a very private person, he was uncomfortable with the prospect of opening himself up to others.
Part of that was due to awkwardness; his uncertainty in social situations.
Another part was due to the difficulty he had with finding the right words to express himself.
So it would probably come as a surprise to many to learn that he was a prolific writer.
While he was disinclined to express himself outwardly for anyone to see, it did not change the fact that he felt very much, and very deeply. Those feelings often needed an outlet, and while he enjoyed pouring them into his music; at times he simply needed to sit down and find a way to put his chaotic emotions into plain language before he, himself, could understand them.
For this reason, he often kept a journal, where he would attempt to make sense of his tangled thoughts and feelings when they began to overwhelm him.
While he was aware that not everything he wrote in his journal were things which his Uncle would approve of, there was nothing in there that he had any reason to feel truly ashamed about.
Nothing, that is, until Wei Ying came in and turned Wangji's world on its head.
A/N: Like all of my MDZS/Untamed fics, this was written for a prompt on the MDZS/Untamed 2020 Kink Meme.
Each chapter of this will be a separate journal entry, with at least three interludes. The chapters will get longer as LWJ gradually gets better at recording his dirty thoughts. I'm leaving the chapter count a bit open ended for now because I'm not 100% sure how many I can write before I start running out of creativity; but I estimate this will run at about 15-20 journal entries. Maybe more if I get sufficiently inspired.
I plan to post a follow-up fic (added to the Twin Jades Kink series) with all of the actual sex scenes written out in full; the sexual content in this fic will be entirely LWJ writing a detailed account of both his fantasies and his eventual experiences in his journal. There will also be a sequel chronicling LXC's POV of this fic, along with his own experiences with NMJ posted in the same series.
I personally HC LWJ as Demisexual, in that his attraction to WWX first came from noticing things about him like his eyes and smile, his personality and his laughter; then the sexual attraction grew pretty quickly from there. (It's why I figure he was utterly unfazed by WWX having a different body later, and went from not really noticing MXY's body to immediately being 100% attracted to him again when he realised who was in it.) So his attraction isn't really all that sexual at first; but it does get very sexual after a bit.

Wangji keeps an angsty little diary in his teenage years. Wei Ying's presence at the Cloud Recess complicates his life and Wangji vents about him a lot in writing. I'd like to see Wangji going from being angrily clueless about his attraction to him being angrily aware of it and venting his dirty fantasies, writing about wanking off to Wei Ying etc. It should include small details about his everyday life. Bonus points if Wei Ying finds the diary and something sexual happens between them. Keep it light-hearted.
