Author's Note: Okay so this is my first published fic despite being on this site for many years. My friend got me to agree (read come to a sleep deprived me that was not thinking clearly) and here we are hope y'all enjoy.
Summary: A nice morning together take a turn for the worst.
Leaning down I work the zipper of my boots and smirk as the feather touch of lips trail up my spine. I bite my lip to keep a gasp hidden as rough, calloused hands softly grasp my hips pulling me back. Titling my head back I glance into the brown gaze that were so soft and yet piercing into my soul. A smile spreads across his lips before he inches closer and presses a kiss on my lips for but a second.
Turning back around I sink into his embrace as fingers trail my sides before arms wrap themselves just under my breasts.
"Must you go already?" he asks while leaving a trail of open mouthed kisses from my shoulder blade all the way to my neck. Just as he reaches my hairline he pulls away and I feel as his breath warms my ear. "Wouldn't the day be better spent here, with me?"
"Hmm, perhaps but I did promise my team to go to that new cafe and we both know how I am about my promises." Lifting a hand up I trail down the tattoo that marrs his face not that it takes away from his beauty. A light chuckle fills the before he flops back on the bed letting go of his hold on my waist.
"What a minx you are," he grumbles. After finishing zipping my second boot I turn to admire the picture he makes. Hair tasseled from our previous activities, as if the purple bruises on his neck weren't telling enough. Chest slowly raising with each breath though the want in his eyes gives away his desire.
His sleep pants hang loose around his trim waist and with one small tug they would be down. Ignoring his pants I crawl up the bed before swinging a leg over his hips and sitting my self on his abdomen. I drag my nails up his chest as I lean down until I'm a hair's breadth away from his bright pink kissable lips.
"Are you saying you'll miss me Jellal?" I tease. I lean away as he sits up some in an attempt to close the distance.
"Always," he says breathily. With a jerk of hips our positions are switched. Jellal's arms cage my head and hold up most of his weight from crashing me, though it would be welcomed. His mouth attacks leaving me breathless in the best way possible. Eventually we have to part for the stupid need known as breathing but he just moves on to peppering my neck with even more kisses before making his way back to my face.
I cross my ankle on his lower back to get as close as possible knowing our time is limited. How long before they would get impatient waiting for me at that little place. Would they just continue on with their day? Or use those pesky dragon slayer senses. After me and Natsu's last altercation the last thing I needed was him meeting up with Jellal. Knowing my luck that's exactly what would happen.
JellaI nips at my bottom lip and I get last in our breath mingling and becoming one. The caress of hard worked skin as one of his hands trail along the bed and interlocking our fingers. The feel of his skin giving as my other hand adds to the array of scratch marks that I know I've left in my wake.
When I first did it I had panicked so much but all he did was chuckle at my worry. Kissing each and every finger before assuring me he would tell me if I'd hurt him. Now I can see the pupils dilating with each drag of my nails until the brown of his eyes are basically gone.
"Are you sure –" he presses a kiss until my forehead "– you can't stay longer?"
"Unfortunately." Groaning he drops his head on top of my clothed collar bone before rolling over. Resisting the urge to curl up on his chest I stand and gather my keys before snapping them in place.
"Have a great lunch, Lucy," he calls as I leave. The only sign that I heard him was the extra hip swinging I did as I crossed the threshold. I smirk as I hear him give a loud groan one last time before I swing the door closed.
Shaking my head I start on my long walk to the cafe that I set up to meet the team. I honestly had been avoiding this but Erza had been insisted on it and I cannot deny my pseudo sister this small gathering. Plue comes out and keeps me company. Before long I see the cafe and Erza's long red locks swaying in the air already informs me I'm probably late.
Erza turns but I can feel more then see the onyx eyes that glare at me. We embrace and she leads me to the table.
"I'm sorry for being so late," I rush out.
"Nonsense, we only just got here," she says, easing some of my nerves. Natsu looks about three seconds away from opening his mouth when the waitress comes over. Thankfully, he has enough manners to until the waitress is away before starting with his crap.
"So where were you all afternoon, Luce?" he asks with a false grin upon his face though the tightness of his words easily give away anger behind his words.
"With a friend, you know that," I shot him a look hoping that he wouldn't continue to go into this today.
"A friend, huh? Weird cause you have Jellal's scent all over you," he states but his eyes are accusing. I blink away the tears because even though I've worked hard to stop this event from happening I can see the train wreck collison before my eyes.
"Jellal?" Erza asks, her eyebrow hitching up a bit.
"Yeah, –" he starts only to be interrupted by Erza.
"I see. Then I take it you two are faring well still?" I give her a bright smile in return but it falls off my face as Natsu's chair screeches against the cement as he gets up in a hurry. I wish to run after him but I know it would just ignite the blaze of his anger into an inferno.
"Just give him more time," Gray states for the first time though I know from the wariness in his eyes that he had watched the whole encounter closely. I can't help the well of tears that come crashing out of my eyes. This truly is the end of our friendship isn't it?
