5 years later

"Do we have everything ready? I think people are supposed to start arriving in half an hour?" I asked the event planner as I shuffled over to the backyard.

The backyard was filled with all yellow balloons. There was a platform with two chairs and a banner right behind it saying, 'BOY OR GIRL?'. On the other side of the yard were two rows of tables set up for our guests.

"Kazue, I know you're stressing out right now but remember what the doctor said. You're supposed to sit back and try to relax", Sasuke said as he approached me, carrying one of the kids. We had our first set of twins, a girl named Hanako and a boy named Itachi. Hanako had long, wavy, blue-black hair like me and dark black eyes just like Sasuke, while Itachi had wild light gray hair and red eyes. Both of them had enough energy that even their father could barely keep up with. I was heavily pregnant once again and with twins, this time both were boys.

"I know. I was just impatient" I made my way to the lounge chair overlooking everything.

My current assistant was Himawari Uzumaki, Naruto's daughter. Himawari wanted to work for the Hokage as an advisor or for the Feudal lords' counsel like Shikadai. She was sent to me as an assistant. Turns out, Shikadai had learned a lot of skills while working for me and done a lot of networking that he could apply to his work for the feudal lords. He had also built great connections with different leaders around the five countries. Because I would be invited to state dinners and such whenever I was on a press tour, he could mingle with the same crowds as my assistant. In one of the events, one of the feudal Lords took an interest in him and decided to find a position for him within his counsel, so I lost my assistant. I had the contract, so I still paid him proceeds from the comic books. Temari and Shikamaru thanked me for helping him since working for the Feudal Lord was what the Nara clan's head wanted for him, but they wanted him to get there his own way.

I got Chocho Akimichi as my next assistant. She was able to get a job in the film industry since she became my assistant right when my first book was picked up for a movie. She had been in the casting meetings to take notes and provided her own input. The director asked her if she wanted to work on the film since she had a good eye for talent and great ideas. I lost another assistant to their dream career.

So far, I had written five books and had an ongoing comic book series based on my journey. The first of the books had a movie out in theatres, and the second one was already in production. I had ended my 'The Great Shinobi' series with the fifth book and decided to take some time off. Occasionally I would get called into writers' meetings to provide final input for the movie. Still, I was otherwise focused on my kids and the kids at the Academy I was teaching. Sasuke had also gotten a break from his work. Boruto and Sarada were slowly taken over some of the assignments that Sasuke used to work on. Occasionally, a mission would call for interdimensional travel, which was the only time Sasuke would be needed. He spent as much time as possible at home with the kids because he wanted to keep the promise he made to me about never making the kids feel abandoned.

The guests had started arriving, although I didn't really move much from my lounge chair. They were all close friends, so they understood. The first to come was Tsunade. I finally accepted her invite for tea and compared notes on what I knew about Tobirama and what she knew about him and said that I really was a Senju. I knew that already.

Another thing that convinced her was Itachi. Itachi became her favorite of my kids. She would often make unplanned visits to see the twins but especially him. She said he looked just like Tobirama, including the hair and the eyes.

"NANA!" Itachi called out as he tried to wriggle himself out of Sasuke's hands. He ran to her and gave her a big hug, then pulled her into the house to show her a new toy he had gotten. Next to arrive were Naruto and Hinata. We had decided to make them the twins' godparents since they were the main reason we had them. Next was Sakura and her husband, Kankuro. They had met when he had gotten injured during an attack while Gaara was in town and ended up bonding. Next, Moegi, Konohamaru, and Udon showed up. Those three would always show up everywhere together. However, Konohamaru had become the third wheel when Moegi and Udon started dating. I used to be the one to even the pairing, but my busy schedule didn't allow me to do that anymore. A couple more of my friends showed up, and we finally had a full house. The dining setting looked fancy, but the atmosphere was casual. We had soft music playing in the background. Everyone talked, and I had shuffled over to the table to speak to different people. I found out that Sakura and Kankuro were expecting and congratulated them on the news. The last person to arrive just as everything was getting started was, of course, Kakashi. Sasuke mentioned that he had a habit of showing up late to everything.

We all ate dinner then it was time for the party games; one of them was a betting game on what we were having. Many people who were about to be disappointed had wagered on another set of boy and girl. We had three jars set up, one labeled girl/girl, another boy/boy, and the third boy/girl.

"When everyone got here, you were asked to write your name down and place it in the jar labeled what you think we are having. We have a cash prize for the people who made the correct guesses. Sasuke will now go to the right jar and pull the names of the winners". He practically skipped to the boy/boy jar and happily pulled out the one name card that had been placed in there.

"How did you make that guess?" I asked

"Context clues. You kept talking about how excited Sasuke was about the new babies and then did this little eye roll. It looked like you were eye-rolling to the layperson because you have to carry the load of it. I know you, and I knew if it was all girls or at least one girl, you would have been excited because then the house would be evenly matched. But this time, you would get this look like your mind was far away every time you would talk about them. I deduced that the faraway look was you picturing all the chaos that would descend on your house with all the boys".

"Good guess!"

"Well, it was that, and Sasuke was actually excited about inviting people. We all saw how he practically skipped towards the jar".

"There's nothing wrong with a dad being excited about his sons", Sasuke said excitedly. He had been grinning the whole time.

"I'm hoping for kids with less energy than I have right now. But I know it's a hopeless dream. I talked too much and had too much energy as a kid. Sasuke was more mellow as a kid. So far, the first two are just like me. I'll need a lot of girls' nights, and I hope you all will invite me because Sasuke already joins in on the horse games they play all the time, and Hanako is just as wild as her brother."

"So what names are you going for this time?"

"Shisui and Tobirama. Shisui after Sasuke's cousin and Tobirama of course after my father and my great-great-grandfather" I said

"Well, both of you come from Konoha's founding families, so we know the Will of Fire will be strong in this house. Wouldn't it be funny if one of the kids looked like Hashirama?" Tsunade said. That's such a Hokage thing to say.

"Then we'll know who your second favorite will be. My father said one of his two brothers looked just like Hashirama, so there is a chance. I'm hoping one of them gets their dad's beautiful dark hair", I replied as I ran my fingers through Sasuke's hair

"As nice as it would be to have more Uchiha and Senjurama in this world, I can't. I know they'd be more twins. It is exhausting".

"One more set wouldn't hurt", Sasuke said with a broad smile on his face.

"Wouldn't hurt who, Sasuke-Baka?" I asked him, looking at him with a fake angry face

"Ha-ha! You really stepped in it there, Sasuke!" Naruto shouted at him.

"Uhhh…that came out wrong. I'm sorry. I love you", Sasuke said, then smirked.

"So why did you guys decided to have a baby shower this late into it?" Anko asked. I was already three days past eight and a half months meaning the babies could be born at any time.

"I was still deciding before, but then I missed everyone, so I decided to just do it. Himawari was so great with planning the whole thing. So, in other words, this is like my family get together because you guys are my family in Konoha".

"Who are you choosing for the godparents?"

"Well, this time around, no one fed us sake, so we haven't made a decision yet", I said, and everyone started laughing. We had told them how Naruto and Hinata had played matchmaker that night.

"To be fair, we didn't know the sake that YOU brought would be that effective", Naruto said

We all continued talking, and eventually, everyone left. Tsunade had to promise to come back the next day for Itachi to finally let her go. We had managed to put both kids to bed, and I was brushing my teeth when I felt water pooling around my feet.

"Sasuke! Can you call Naruto back? He can teleport, so he'll be here the fastest to take the kids. These little smartasses decided to show up today!" I shouted at him from the bathroom. He ran into the room and found me grimacing with the pool of water at my feet.

"They're coming today?" he said excitedly

"I know they're only doing this because they heard me talking shit", I sighed. "We didn't even get to talk godparents".
