Even though he had been enjoying the battles, Goku could not help but shake an uncomfortable thought coursing through his head: "Aw man… Those universe six guys are already down to their fourth fighter. I'll never get to fight." But before he could sink into worry, the carefree Saiyan's attention turned to Majin Boo's next opponent. Frost resembled Freeza's first suppression form, a form which Goku was unfamiliar with, however one that Gohan and Vegeta knew perfectly well.

"He has other forms, doesn't he, Mr. Vegeta?" The studious Saiyan observed.

"He does. If he's like Freeza, that form is just a limiter to suppress his power. His original form is leagues stronger than this," the prince then sneered. "Still, he won't have the luxury to hold back, not against his opponent."

Without greeting his opponent, Frost took a wide stance.

"Begin!"

The blue alien immediately spiked his aura and flew upwards in a vertical line, making some distance between himself and his opponent. Boo, meanwhile, only looked on in confusion. Frost charged up some more of his energy and begun firing a barrage of Ki blasts that overwhelmed the djinn. To complete his assault, the tiny alien concentrated his energy into his index finger, creating a massive ball of fire which he promptly threw at his opponent, creating a massive explosion that forced the angels to shield the audience from the debris.

"He's a smart one," the pure-hearted Saiyan in the orange Ki observed. "He's tryin' ta blow Boo up."

"But if he kills the fatso, won't that Frost guy just be disqualified?" Beerus asked.

"Nah, 'cause he's not tryin' ta kill Boo."

Goku's reply left the God visibly confused, prompting Gohan to jump in: "Mr. Boo's regeneration is finite. If he sustains enough damage, he won't be able to regenerate as efficiently anymore. This may lead to an opening for Mr. Frost to throw Boo out of the ring."

"That guy knows what to do," the Namekian reflected, as Boo finished regenerating. "He knows he's weaker than Boo, so he's keeping his distance and avoiding hand-to-hand combat. It's as if he fought him before…"

The magical being flew towards Frost, who started blasting away again. However, this time Boo deflected the incoming blasts with his own, leaving his opponent out of options. Picking up speed, the djinn headbutted Frost further up into the sky. Regaining his composure, the blue alien descended at lightning speed, landing on the tournament stage once more. Now from below, he fired a singular, massive beam of light that pierced through Boo's chest.

While the majin regenerated, Frost took the opportunity to blast at Boo once more. A Ki blast hit him in the face, propelling him upwards, but another controlled Ki blast struck him from the left side, with another four blasting him in the back, sending him downwards towards the ground. It was clear that his opponent was manipulating his own explosive attacks to thrust Boo outside of the ring, but the majin picked up on his strategy and vanished. Shocked, Frost looked around only to meet with a Ki blast to the face, hurling him to the edge of the stage.

"Hehe!" Boo started laughing, proud of this manoeuvre. That singular attack left an impact; Frost was somewhat struggling to get back up.

"To think this version of you would be this strong," the reptilian let out.

Boo was confused, but Piccolo quickly picked up on what he was implying: "As I thought, that Frost guy fought Boo before, or at least another version of Boo."

"What? How's that possible?" The Saiyan monarch questioned.

"Universe six and seven are twins," Whis proceeded to explain. "Mr. Majin Boo is a creature that exists since the beginning of the universe itself, born of the leftover energy from its conception. It is possible that a similar creature was created in the sixth universe."

Before anyone from universe seven could comment, Frost, close to the edge of the arena facing team universe seven's bench, spoke: "It's true. Long ago, I fought a pink, regenerating creature much like Mr. Boo. Houdin destroyed my home world; I was one of its last survivors. Together with my comrades, we managed to seal away that wicked being for good," then he looked at Boo, who was now approaching him, and smiled. "I've lost. I can't defeat you. Finish me off."

"You no fun," As Boo's smile turned into a frown and he threw a punch to knock Frost out of the ring, the lizard raised his head and fired a Ki blast from his eyes, hitting Boo square in the face. It was only enough to startle the majin for an instant, but Frost took full advantage of the opportunity to dodge his opponent's incoming punch, grab his arm and fling him out of the ring, knocking him straight down into the ground outside of the stage. In this split second, the victor of the fight had been decided.

"Contestant Frost has won the match!"

"Aw man…" Goku facepalmed. "That was dirty!"

The universe six Kaioshin looked at Shin and started cackling. Shin, meanwhile, looked in disbelief: "To think that Majin Boo which obliterated all our lords long ago was defeated with such a simple tactic."

"What?!" Beerus looked behind him in shock and fear. "That's the guy you talked about?!"

"My, didn't you know?" His attendant jested. "You really do spend too much of your time sleeping." Beerus was furious, remembering that Majin Boo had killed many Kaioshin millions of years ago, but owing to Boo's decent tournament performance, he decided to spare him from punishment.

"Ring-out was his only option," the Namekian changed subject, commenting on the match. "In an all-out match, he would have been defeated in a second, so he made Boo drop his guard and took his chance."

"Tch. He didn't even use his other forms," Vegeta scoffed. Meanwhile, Boo, somewhat confused, sat down on the bench while Mr. Satan tried to encourage him from the stands not to feel badly about losing.

"It would likely have been useless," Piccolo continued. "It's possible he still wouldn't match Boo even in his strongest form. By limiting himself to this one, he was able to conserve stamina. Gohan, be careful, he's a tricky one."

The young adult replied with a nod, but he couldn't help but feel excited to fight once more after so long. As he ascended to the tournament stage, the announcer called up his name: "Now for our next contestant: Son Gohan from universe seven!"

The Saiyan stared his opponent down markedly, but was shocked by Frost's sudden amicableness: "Pleasure to make your acquaintance." He extended a handshake which Gohan met with some embarrassment. "Apologies for going so seriously on your friend last bout, but his countenance brought up some bad memories. I hope we can look past my last performance and fight to our heart's content. It's unfortunate that we find ourselves divided into enemies in this manner, but I hope that once this is over, we can shake hands and agree that this was a pleasant meeting," and he bowed. The Saiyan, somewhat flustered, bowed in kind. The two then took their positions and awaited the announcer's call.

"Huh, looks like that Frost guy ain't such a bad guy as Freeza…" Gohan's father noted. Piccolo, meanwhile, was apprehensive, and thought it best to observe how Frost fought before commenting on his personality.

"Begin!"

Frost was getting ready to strike, but Gohan spoke, taking his opponent by surprise: "You're not going to transform?"

"How did you know I can transform?"

"We've fought a guy just like you in our universe. That's just a limiter, right? You're suppressing your full power. You should transform."

Frost pondered for a second before speaking: "You've seen right through me. I was hoping to conserve my stamina. Very well, I will show you my full power!" He began to shout, simultaneously enveloping himself in a thick blue Ki. His limbs began to extend, his shoulder blades widened and his cranium elongated morphing his face into something wicked in the process. When he had finished, he had transformed into something resembling Freeza's third limiter form.

"That form brings back bad memories," the green man recollected.

"This is it, my full power."

"Underestimating me, are you?" Gohan smirked.

"That's Mr. Frost's Assault Form!" Cabba burst out with a smile as both contestants began exchanging blows. Sensing that everyone wanted him to explain, he continued: "In order to stamp out the tragedies of war so prevalent in universe six, Mr. Frost leads a peacekeeping force and leaps into hot spots. In these cases, he uses this Assault Form. I've fought with Mr. Frost many times before, as he usually hires Saiyans for his army," Cabba reminisced. "Incidentally, Mr. Frost devotes himself to postwar recovery efforts. He has won the cosmic peace prize no less than three times!" The Saiyan was embracing his role as a narrator. Vados then explained to Champa that she had told Frost that if he won, the God of Destruction would help supporting his work, a statement Champa scoffed at.

In the meantime, the two fighters had been exchanging blows. To every spectator, Gohan was the superior fighter; he had been blocking all of Frost's hits successfully. The reptilian attempted an uppercut, which Gohan blocked with his palm, followed by a kick to the ribs, which the Saiyan easily thwarted with his knee. The latter then countered with a hook from his free hand. Drawing blood, Gohan then sent Frost flying with a kick to the gut.

The horned lizard took the opportunity now that the two had spaced themselves out to concentrate a beam of energy in his palm and fire it at his Saiyan opponent, who merely deflected it into the sky by flicking it with the back of his hand. Frost was dismayed.

"I see, you're much more powerful than you let on. Am I correct in saying you defeated my kin in your universe?"

"Unfortunately, I was just a child back then and couldn't put up much of a fight," Gohan then pointed behind his back with his thumb toward the Saiyan in the orange Gi. "My father defeated him." Goku waved.

Frost widened his eyes and then smiled after collecting himself. "I see, this is very humbling."

"Go on, use your full power. I know this isn't your true form. You're still thinking about conserving your stamina at this point? You'll lose if you underestimate me."

The alien looked on with a serious countenance and replied after a short silence: "The reason I was hiding my true form was not because I was saving it for later, as you assumed." The lizard powered-up and a thick blue shell covered his body. Beginning to crack, it revealed Frost had transformed into a shorter, but sleeker and smoother build, approximating Freeza's true form. This transformation shocked the universe six bench, including Cabba, who had no idea Frost possessed one more transformation; naturally, universe seven was unamused. "It's difficult for me to control my power in this form," he looked at his hand. "For this reason, I once accidentally took the life of an evil-doer whom there was no need to kill. Ever since then, I created these forms and kept my true power sealed away. However, Mr. Son Gohan," Frost smiled. "I believe you can handle this form." The Saiyan beamed in kind.

"Hm? That's it?" Goku was considerably disappointed. "What a shame. Gohan's still a lot stronger."

"Yeah," the Namekian agreed. "That guy would have been troublesome for Gohan ten years ago, but now he's on a completely different level… Even so, I have a bad feeling about this."

"Alright, since you've shown me your true form, I'm going full power as well. It'd be a shame to come all this way and not even test what I'm capable of," Gohan enveloped himself in an impenetrable wall of energy and began powering up to full.

The universe six Saiyan looked on attentively and thought to himself: "Is he going to transform too…? Wait, no, he's not." The young universe seven Saiyan had finished powering up, but his appearance had remained the same. Still, everyone in the arena could feel the overwhelming pressure being emitted from Gohan's Ki, including universe six's ace, Hit, who glanced over at the arena once more, interested in what seemed like a potential future opponent.

Goku looked closely, eager to contemplate his son's full power.

The two fighters took their stances ready to resume.
