I thought of another idea of Annie with a E on where Nathaniel and Dunlop told people there was gold but people look somewhere else except Annie, Gilbert , Billy and bash, didn't believe it so they stayed.
Annie pov
I can't believe it Marilla and Matthew was running low on money and didn't know if they would keep me or not we had to sell almost everything that we own I thought of a idea and took my new dress that Matthew just brought last week it was heartbreaking I had to see it go but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else on Prince Edward Island and I had the best family to look after me I put the dress in the box and went downstairs to see Meet waiting by the horses
"Um hello! what are you doing here Jerry!" I said
he looked at me smirking I hated that smirk I wanted to wipe it right off
"Marilla and Matthew said I can come along to help sell stuff at the pawn shop" Jerry said smirking
"Well they ar-" I got cut off by hearing Diana voice
"Wait Annie I found some stuff that I don't need anymore hoping you would sell it please take it I wouldn't want to lose a friend like you" Diana said
I sign and was about to say no when Marilla came out the door
"Jerry did you get the horses ready" Marilla said
Diana quickly gave her bag to me and I put it in the bag of items I was going to sell
"Yes Marilla I did " Jerry said
"Annie Jerry will be riding with you there and I brought some cakes for a snack on the road in case you to get hungry" Marilla said handing the cakes to me
"Thank you Marilla" Jerry said
I wave to Diana and Marilla
"Bye Marilla bye Dianna" I said
" bye be safe" they both yell I turn around sign
"you know its ok to ask for help sometimes" Jerry said smirking
"I don't need help not from you in fact no talking " I said
then Jerry started singing a French song

I Sign and sat back until we reach town Jerry park the horses and got out and I got out

"yes I'm here to sell these items they are from Queen Victoria I sat at her table one time eating a fancy dinner with shiny plates and spoons" I said holding up the items he took them and look at them
"Hmm tell me something I don't know" He said placing it down and getting a next item
"Please I even stay a week at the Palace and they invite me to a Royal ball and I met a Prince charming but he was already married to Queen Victoria daughter" I said making up anything interesting
he looked at me then the items
"Ill say 78 dollars" he said
"but these are family treasures they had it for years and years" I said
"then keep them" he said placing the items in the box by the window
"Ill sell the items then" I said
he was cashing out the items
Gilbert walked by looking at the window seeing Annie with guy holding money Gilbert look in his pockets to see if he had anything to sell for Annie even money he heard about the news about Annie and the Cuthberts income he didn't want to loose Annie she was different then the other girls in Avonlea he had 100 dollars in his pockets he sign and put the money back in his pockets he didn't want to sounds cheap to Annie or be embarrassed
I walk out the pawn shop signing and saw Gilbert
"Hey what are you doing here" Gilbert said
"Selling some items that may be useful to sell" I said looking at him
"I wish I had something to sell to you I would give you my house to sell!" Gilbert said
we both laughed
"Thank you Gilbert its fine" I said
"I'm heading to get lunch you want to come" Gilbert ask
"Sure" I said smiling
Jerry was selling the other horses and walked down the alley and two guys push him and took his money
"So are deciding to leave or not to go on that ship" I ask
"I'll think about it I just don't want to leave you" Gilbert said looking at me I looked at me

"hmm ill think about it if the ships haven't left yet I met Bash yesterday he said would do farming to stay in my house with me" Gilbert said

"thanks lets go now get ready for tomorrow" Gilbert said standing up going outside standing by the bench he was about to sit down when Jerry push him

"Jerry its okay I know him what happened to your face" I said looking at him he sat down

"no I don't they took the money and left" Jerry said

we got on the horse and started going to Aunt Josephine house by we got there it was night time we knocked on the door and a servant answer

"two guys rob me for my money the city is no good" Jerry said

we got to the dinner table and started eating
"well nothing like this never happened before must be careful" Aunt Josephine said
"yes I know it just happens so quickly I don't know if I'm going to stay on the farm or not now the money gone" Jerry said
"ill do a peace offering so you can stay on the farm" Aunt Josephine said

"But the Cuthbert don't Charity and I don't accept" I said

I sign soon dinner was over we went to bed I heard Jerry signing loudly then my door open
"please can I sleep we you I never slept alone before" Jerry said
"Sure" I said moving over
he quickly got into the bed by the feet
