In other news I think I'm going to work on trying to get my original writings published for some form of income because I really hate my current job/general area of work I'm in right now and my boss stresses me out so much that I've ended up becoming bulimic/self cutting again...but life's hard for everyone and I know I just have to get through it somehow (sorry to seem like I'm complaining, I've just always been a very open expressive person and I want to be honest with my fans because often times it is stress from work that causes me to be unable to update or write anything in general...and I feel bad for making you guys wait).
I'd really love to get paid to do what I love most in life, namely writing. It's always been my dream to walk into a bookstore and find it selling something I wrote but I'm unsure if I should try to go that route, find a literary agent etc or just try to sell through self publishing sites like Lulu or Amazon (or some other site)? I'd love to hear if anyone has any tips/experience in this area?
Other other news: I know some people ask for donations on [p] [a] [t] [r] [e] [o] [n] or kofi from their readers but I don't want my readers to think bad of me if I were to proactively advertise for this? Please let me know what you think/if anyone would get mad if I were to ask for donations with each chapter update and also add a note like that to all previous chapters? If most people won't like that then I won't do it. I only want to make my readers happy! :D
Please tell me your opinions but I am very sensitive so please don't be unkind. I always try my best to make my readers satisfied to the best of my abilities so please be nice to me too.
I have actually made a [p] [a] [t] [r] [e] [o] [n] page (Sympathetic Wishes) and also a Kofi page ( /sympatheticwishes) that I think works the same way if anyone wants to support me through them but no one has to and I promise to always write my best for you guys regardless!
Other other other news: I've started a discord server so that I can talk and chat with my fans about story ideas and whatnot, especially in regards to stories that I have writer's blocks for *cough* Deauti *cough*. Please consider joining!
