Alright, this'll probably be the last author's note chapter cuz I'm gonna put notifications on my profile from here on out. Y'know to avoid the whole "Holy flying carp, this lazy son of a gun finally updated!" thing only to find it's an author's note. I know the feeling. It's absolute pain lol.
But anyways, after a lot of thinking, I've decided that I'm going to do something a bit unorthodox. While trying to reshape this fic, I wound up making something pretty much entirely different. Some characters that were in this fic totally didn't show up at all and new ones popped up in their place. Needless to say, the plot was incredibly different along with the themes and the like.
I really like how it turned out, but, since I'm a sentimental bastard, I also missed some things about the old fic. This is where the unorthodox thing comes in: I'm gonna continue this fic, but I'm also gonna create the entirely revamped version. It kinda works out for just about all of the voters and myself this way.
So, the completely alien fic will be called Avatar: Ragnarok. I don't know when that'll be up exactly, but I think it'll happen this year.
Unless I get lazy idk (jk jk... I hope)
As for the somewhat similar revamped version of this fic, I dunno when it'll be up. It's probably gonna be a while since I managed to write myself into a bunch of corners here. I like to think that I've become a somewhat better writer since I was twelve (at least I hope xD), so when I come back with new chapters for this, they're gonna be nice.
Until then, I will be updating the fic every now and then to correct the many, many, spelling and grammatical errors for readability. So, if you see it updated recently, that'd likely be the reason.
Along with just the whole proofreading thing, I'm going to start making some alterations to the plot in the updates as well. And once that's done, I'll start working on the new chapters for this fic. In other words, shit is gonna get hella weird.
And since things are gonna get weird, feel free to pm me if you want clarifications on anything.
But on a separate note, 2020 has been hecka crazy. Like dang. I hope you guys have been well during these crazy times. Wear ur masks and I'll see y'all later!
