(A/N: I recently got caught up on My Hero Academia and after watching all 4 Seasons (And both Movies) and listening to Might+U a bunch this FanFic popped into my mind. I hope you enjoy!)
We're Apt To Sacrifice Ourselves

Rated: T for Mild Language and Character Death (You have been warned!)
Summary: When a fight with a villain knocks the power out in a hospital, dooming the patients inside to die unless the power comes back on Denki Kaminari makes the ultimate sacrifice.
Pairing(s): Denki/Kyoka, implied Deku/Ochako
BOOM!
The sound of the hospital generator exploding rang through the small room as Denki Kaminari incapacitated a villain with a blast of electricity but at the cost of the hospital's power, the room immediately went dark.
"Shimata (Shit)!" The blonde cursed, knowing he had messed up royally. The hospital had a recent influx of patients in critical condition due to villain attacks and without the power they were likely going to die now and it would all be his fault.
"Kaminari-kun! I heard an explosion and the power just went are you okay?!" The sound of Kyoka Jiro's voice in his ear communicator rang out.
"I'm fine and the villain has been taken care of but the generator is toast! Oh gods Jiro I fucked up bad!" Denki said, placing his hands on his head having an internal panic attack.
"Stay right where you are we'll come to you and figure something out!" Kyoka said, she was at the hospital with Izuku "Deku" Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka as well.
"Shitshitshitshitshitshitshit!" Denki said, pacing back and forth. "What do I do what do I do?!" Denki looked around the dark room until he spotted an older, broken down looking secondary generator. It could possibly bring the hospital's power back online but it needed a strong charge...
You're not alone...
There's no doubt...
"Kaminari-kun!" Kyoka shouted as she, Deku and Ochako ran up to him seeing the unconscious villain and the destroyed generator.
"You weren't kidding about the generator being toast..." Izuku said, looking around for a solution.
"We have to do something fast or the patients will die!" Ochako said, binding the villain and using her quirk to make him float upstairs where the authorities could get him.
Your gift...
Isn't futile to be...
"There's a backup generator here it could repower the hospital but..." Kyoka said, examining the older generator.
"You'd need a ton of voltage to even get it started, not to mention this hospital is several stories tall." Izuku said.
"...This is my fault." Denki said, looking down in shame.
"Don't say that..." Ochako started to say, placing a hand on his shoulder but he quickly pulled away.
"But it is! If I hadn't used my quirk down here this wouldn't have happened!" Denki shouted.
If we'll be united...
We're stronger together...
"Guys not the time or place!" Izuku said. "Kaminari-san, do you think you could use your quirk to restart this generator?"
"Are you crazy? The amount of voltage he'd need to put out to recharge it could fry his brain permanently if not kill him!" Kyoka said. "We need to find another way!"
"There is no other way..." Denki said, looking at the three.
"Kaminari-san?..." Izuku asked in concern.
"Kaminari-kun you don't have to do this! We can find another way!" Kyoka said, placing her hands on his shoulders.
We always have the high hope...
Not all for one but one for all...
"I'm sorry." Denki said before suddenly shoving the three of them out of the room and closing and locking the door locking them out.
"Kaminari-kun!" Kyoka shouted, pounding on the door as she could only watch him approach the generator.
"Deku-kun destroy the door!" Ochako said desperately.
Don't worry 'bout a thing...
We'll reach out to you...
Even if it's a harder way...
"No!" Denki said. "This is my doing so let me undo it!" Denki then placed his hands on the generator as he started to charge up his quirk. "Or else how can I ever call myself a hero?!"
"Kaminari-kun please!" Kyoka begged, starting to feel tears well up in her eyes.
"I love you Kyoka." Denki said suddenly, calling Kyoka by her first name for the first time stunning the purple haired girl with headphone jacks for ears silent.
It's plain to see the reason why...
Oh, that's all because of the mighty heart...
"Kaminari-kun I..." Kyoka couldn't form the words to describe how she felt in that moment.
"Kaminari-san please get out of there!" Izuku cried out, pounding on the door, leaving dents in it.
"It's ok. It's going to be okay." Denki said to his friends and his crush with a smile as electricity formed around him.
Remember it's just natural that we'll be there if you need help...
Far across the distance rest assured that our faith just won't die...
"Kaminari-kun!" Ochako shouted desperately.
"Kyoka, Midoriya-kun, Uraraka-san, you're all going to be great heroes." Denki said as his power continued to expand through the room.
Snapping out of her stupor, Kyoka placed her hands on the glass to the door. "Denki! I love you too! Please come back! Please don't die!" Kyoka begged and pleaded, even calling him by his first name to no avail.
"Goodbye my love." Denki said as he let loose all the electricity he had build up go, powering up the generator restoring power to the hospital but leaving the blonde a smoking corpse in the middle of the room.
You know we're apt to sacrifice ourselves...
Whatever they may say...
"DENKI!" Kyoka screamed in anguish, slumping to the ground as she cried her eyes out.
Equally distraught, Izuku and Ochako embraced each other their grief overpowering their awkwardness around each other.
It's plain to see the reason why...
Oh that's all because of the mighty heart...
A Month Later...
Denki Kaminari was buried on the campus grounds of UA, surrounded by his friends and family and of course the woman he loved.
"Denki Kaminari wasn't a hero in the traditional sense of the word, he was reckless and had a quirk that more often did more damage to himself than any villain..." Toshinori Yagi spoke at the wake.
Remember it's just natural that...
We'll be there if you need help...
"...but his selflessness and self-sacrifice in the face of a crisis showed us that he was a hero in all the ways that counted." Toshinori said. "He saved hundreds of lives that day at the cost of his own life, a life snuffed out far too young." He glanced at Kyoka as he said that.
Kyoka didn't acknowledge Toshinori's glance, staring at the plot of land where Denki had been laid to rest.
Izuku and Ochako stood side by side hand in hand as they too looked at the plot of land where Denki had been laid to rest.
The rest of UA were there at the wake as well.
Far across the distance...
Rest assured that our faith just won't die...
"I will always love you Denki...until we meet again I promise you I will become a great hero." Kyoka said, smiling for the first time in a Month. She then grabbed a handful of grass from the plot which she then let the wind carry away. As it did there was a sudden lightning strike and Kyoka swore for a second she could see Denki's face in the sky.
