It had been a year and a half since Rory has seen her older brother. She had been aware that during this time he was basking around the world with his friends, taking some time off from the hell they called: Yale.

She had finally graduated secondary school a few months ago. Rory or Leigh, sat on the family jet on the way to New Haven where she would finally start uni. Yes, she was following the family legacy and starting at the ye ole higher education.

She had heard so much about her brother's mates. Their insane stunts, foul behavior, and last but not the disgusting least, their 'fun' bed mates. She shuddered at the thought of his brothers activities, however, it would be quite hypocritical for her to criticize him, since she was no saint.

A million thoughts were running through her head, then her head began to pound. Her tiredness and hangover were beginning to hit as she reflected on her previous night's activities. The lie she told herself to never drink once more was once again broken. "Bloody hell" was all she could mutter as she fell in to a deep sleep.

She has finally arrived in Connecticut. The sight of her hometown made her quite nostalgic. The years she had spent in Great Britain to fulfill family traditions seemed quite foolish to her, but then again traditions were always a big thing in the Gilmore-Hayden family.

The apartment she had bought was humungous. Had she known better by buying the penthouse apartment? Of course not. Impulsive shopping was always her strong suit. Her head was in different directions, her apartment, books, coffee, sleep, coffee…Ugh. Curse this jet lag. Being too tired to argue with herself, she decided to pass out on her couch.

As she woke up from her well needed rest, she told not to herself do not get a hangover and a jet lag next time, it'll fuck you up. She got this brilliant idea, coffee. A word with two syllables that could mend any Gilmore's problem.

She decided to walk around campus with one goal in mind. As she was walking, she didn't notice a man in front of her. She bumped in to him. "Blimey! My apologies. I didn't see you there…?"

The man she had bumped into was surprised that such a beauty like her would even utter a word to him. He decided to snap out of his thoughts as she was asking for his name.
"Marty, my name is Marty"

"Well hello there, Marty. It's wonderful to meet you. I'm-"

Then this familiar brunette bumped in to Marty. Marty looked up to the man and apologised. "Oh sorry"

The brunette with a cocky tone then said "No, seriously, you couldn't see me there?"

It was when Rory realized the brunette was her beloved brother.

Then another brunette man decided to chime in "Not everyone's staring at you, Colin"

This must be Finn. The drunk Australian who her brother was friends with. As she was about to speak, a blonde, who she assumed was Logan interrupted her.

"Hey, I know you. I'm seeing a uniform"

"Maytag Repairman!" The drunken Aussie exclaimed

Marty corrected them "I've bartended for you — for your parties"

Logan decided to goad him more "That's right, you have. You're a talented man". He turns to Rory, "He makes a kick ass margarita". Rory could tell he was inebriated. "It's good to see you again. What's your name?"

"Marty. Uh, this is…". Marty seemed to remember the beautiful brunette has not given her name to him. He whispered to her "Um, hey, what's your name again"

Rory chuckled "It's Rory"

Marty straightened up "Rory, her name is Rory"

Logan glanced at her "Hi. Assuming your services-"

"RORY?!" Colin interrupted him

Everybody looked at him as if he had three heads. Did Colin know her?

She smiled at his reaction "It's good to see your reaction, Colin"

Colin ran towards her and gave her a hug "I know it's great to see me, Colin, but I can't breathe"

"When did you get here? More specifically, how did you get here?"

Rory replied nonchalantly "A few hours ago. Through the family jet"

"It's so great to see-"

Logan was curious. How did Colin know this stunning woman? "How do you know each other"

Rory glanced at him "He's my brother"

The bomb was dropped. THE Colin Straub Gilmore-Hayden, had a sister; a gorgeous one at that, but a sister non the less.

"BROTHER?!" The other three exclaimed.
