Two weeks, it has been two weeks, yet that stupid pineapple hasn't let me go. The red head shifted in her cuffs as she wiggled across the comfy couch. Her crimson orbs wandered around the house. Seems homey enough for someone who lives alone. Technically, he doesn't live alone anymore. Red rolled her eyes from the thought.

She got off her restrictions with ease as soon as the blonde left for an errand. Though, sea prism still clung to her wrists with a chain connecting her hands. At least he has not found out I can release myself. Freeing herself is a small feat compared to the amount of trouble she got herself into.

Blankes has been in this house for fourteen days, not seeing the sunlight. The only reason she is still here, is because she has no clue WHERE she is. At first, she considered walking out of the small house to scope out the area. But then decided against it.

One, since the first commander of the Whitebeard pirates is here, others could be here as well. The killer is strong, but not that strong. Also, she has to add in the fact she is not near Sabaody anymore. The woman could tell where she is from the difference in the scent in the air. The new world… it isn't my first time here, but that only makes things worse!

The red head groaned and slammed her face into the couch cushion she was laying on. As soon as she did, she regretted it. Why does everything in this house have to smell like him!

His scent still agitates her nose, even with the amount of control she has over her senses. Ugh! Stupid pineapple.

She could always use her den den… if she still had it. The blonde took her transponder snail, along with a few blades she kept in her pockets. Normally, she could smell the snail and find it. But since the blonde touched it, it smells like everything else.

There are a few things she has observed about the man. One, he always has this bored look on his face, no matter what he is doing. Two, he has at least four cups of coffee a day. Three, he hums instead of saying yes or no to a question. Four, he wears reading glasses that look kind of cute with his blue eyes. Why is that a detail I noticed!? Red blew at a piece of her crimson bangs, hovering over her nose.

Suddenly, the redhead felt disgusted and uncomfortable. She realized it was because she has been in the same clothes for two weeks and hasn't showered. With a sigh, she pushed herself off the couch and made her way to the blonde's room. That is where the only shower is located.

Even though she knew the blonde was not home, and that he wouldn't be home for a while. She still was careful sneaking into his room. His room was immaculate, which isn't a surprise. Blue and purple sheets folded neatly on his bed, along with plush pillows. On his nightstand was a framed photo. Curiosity got the better of the red head. She walked over to the photo and tilted it up to the light. In it was all the commanders surrounding Whitebeard. Her eyes fixated on the blonde, he has such a gorgeous smile. She thought with a small grin. Her crimson orbs focused on the man next to him.

He had long dark hair tied in a messy bun, sharp eyes, painted lips, and a slender figure. Why does he look so familiar to me? Red shrugged it off and let her eyes trail around the photo again. They froze when they saw another familiar figure, but this one she knew very well. She placed the photo back and let out a long exhale.

Looks like me and the blonde had more in common than I thought. The redhead started to peel off her clothing while turning on the shower. She turned the knob to the left, making the water as hot as can be. Wonder how he felt… when all that happened-

Blankes slapped both her hands on her pale cheeks, I can't think of that right now. I have other things to do. The redhead was now exposed, she tapped her foot on the floor of the shower to test the water. Perfect. Before she went into the shower, she looked at herself in the mirror. She doesn't care much about her appearance, she was looking at the tattoos on her body. Her small hand slid her hair to the side to see the others that lay on her back. The red head scrunched her nose when she saw the massive scar cutting across her skin. It started at the base of her neck and ended at her hip.

With a sigh, she finally stepped into the blazing water. The steam surrounded her body and the water drizzled down her chest and stomach. She used her right hand to push her bangs back, giving her full face a good feel of the warm liquid.

The red head started to hum a tune in her head.

"You make it look it

'Cause I see nobody, nobody but you, you, you

I'm never confused

Hey, hey"

The song made her body relax. It was an old song, a song that would play in the bar she grew up in. She could picture her father twirling her mother around when the bar was closed. Her uncles and brothers singing along to the song.

"I'm so used to being used

So I love when you call unexpected

'Cause I hate when the moment's expected

So I'ma care for you, you, you

I'ma care for you, you, you, you, yeah

'Cause girl you're perfect

You're always worth it

And you deserve it

The way you work it

'Cause girl you earned it, yeah

Girl you earned it, yeah"

Subconsciously, her body started to sway to the song. She sang as she scrubbed her hair with the blonde's shampoo. The soap smelled like fresh fruit with sea salt. It made the red head feel nostalgic. Once again, it reminded her of her home. The fruits her father would bring when he came back from his travels.

Her and her brothers made a game out of trying the new food. She has two biological brothers but no sisters. She has wondered what it would be like to have a sister but shrugs it off.

"You know our love would be tragic (oh yeah)

So you don't pay it, don't pay it no mind

We live with no lies

Hey, hey

And you're my favorite kind of night"

The blonde quirked his brow at the raised prices for the strawberries. He heard muffled giggles resonating from behind him. He turned and saw two slender women staring at him. One had short dark hair, the other had long dark blue hair. Both wore your average skirt and long sleeve shirt to match the cold chill in the air.

Marco wore his normal light blue button up and gray pants. Even though the blonde is a 'Phoenix' the cold does affect him. Juzo said it could be because he is a 'bird man'.

The two women gave Marco a friendly smile to hide the lust in their eyes. Which worked, for some reason, the blonde took one look at their eyes and turned disappointed. He does not know why he is… but chose to shrug it off and return to his shopping.

That red haired woman cleaned out his supplies. Marco lives alone and doesn't eat much, therefore, he doesn't buy much. That changed when Blankes became a resident at his house. Not only does the woman eat more food than him, but does it at an alarming rate. A childish glutton. The ex-commander has found out some things about the red head. One, her favorite food is chocolate covered strawberries.

Marco found this out when he saw her salivating over a box he had in the fridge. It was quite Intriguing, watching her beg and drool for the fruit. Not that he would admit that. Two, the woman has brothers. Marco found this out when she made a comment while whining about how hot it was in his house. 'You're more stubborn than my brothers.' But besides that comment, she doesn't talk about them much. Three, Red hates to wear restricting clothing. Marco figured that out when he tried to zip up her jumpsuit, but the woman hissed and pulled it down.

"She is different from the women I have met, yoi." The blonde muttered to himself. He walked out of the store once he paid for everything. He was buried in his deep thoughts about the woman, and about the questions she will and won't answer. Marco snapped out of his thoughts when he bumped into a familiar mother. It was the mother of the child he helped two weeks ago. The woman's hair was tied back. She had a light pink scarf to match her white jacket, pink pants, and white boots.

"Hi Mr. Marco. We haven't seen you in so long. What have you been up to?" The mother asked with a friendly smile.

Marco returned the polite gesture, "Hello, I'm sorry, I have been very busy with my work, yoi." He lied. Unless you count the childish redhead as a job, which wouldn't be far off. She has sucked all his attention and time. He has enough savings not to work for months. A benefit to being a workaholic who lives alone… used to live alone.

"Oh? I thought you were hiding something, a girlfriend perhaps?" It was meant as a joke, even though she hit the situation right on the mark. Marco let out a light chuckle to cover his nervousness. "I'm afraid not, yoi. But I must be going." The blonde exchanged a few more words with the mother before taking his leave.

For once, Marco ended up arriving home quickly. He thought it must have been from the lack of times he was stopped. Everyone in the island knows Marco and always tries to talk to him when they have a chance. But. Today seems different. The blonde walked inside the house; the first thing he did was check on the redhead. When he saw her restraints undone, he started to search for her. It didn't take him long.

"So I love when you call unexpected

'Cause I hate when the moment's expected

So I'ma care for you, you, you

I'ma care for you, you, you, you, yeah

'Cause girl you're perfect (girl you're perfect)

You're always worth it (you're always worth it)

And you deserve it (and you deserve it)

The way you work it (the way you work it)

'Cause girl you earned it (earned it, yeah)

Girl you earned it (earned it, yeah)"

Her whimsical voice caressed his ears, I have never heard anyone sing like that. Marco became brainwashed from the enchanting sound. Before he realized it, he was standing in front of his shower, listening to the red-haired woman sing. To think someone who whines and complains like there is no tomorrow has such a pretty voice. That is when Marco saw something more captivating than her sweet tone.

"On that lonely night (lonely night)

You said it wouldn't be love

But we felt the rush (felt the love)

It made us believe it there was only us (only us)

Convinced we were broken inside, yeah

Inside, yeah"

The shower curtains revealed the woman's shadow, swaying and dancing to the music. Marco has never seen a good image of her frame, but now, this image will never leave him. Her hips were narrow and swayed beautifully to her voice. Her long hair that ended at the back of her knees, covered her chest. The blonde's blue orbs felt as if they were being teased by her red locks but enjoyed the sight. Something else piqued his interest, a tail was twirling behind the woman. It must have been tucked into her jumpsuit. The tail was thin and didn't seem furry. The tip of it was shaped like a small flame.

"'Cause girl you're perfect (girl you're perfect)

You're always worth it (you're always worth it)

And you deserve it (and you deserve it)

The way you work it (the way you work it)

'Cause girl you earned it (girl you earned it, yeah)

Girl you earned it (you earned it, yeah)"

Marco has never been more fixated on one thing in his entire life. He was drunk off her sweet voice, intoxicated by the graceful sway of her hips. Is this her plan or something? She- I have never felt like this before.

"Nana nana

So girl you're worth it

The way you work it

You deserve it

I can tell you"

The sound of the shower curtains scraping against the metal bar broke Marco out of his trans… Well some of Marco. His blue eyes snapped to the woman, who wore the most mortified face he has ever seen. Before Marco could even speak, the childish woman crouched down onto the bottom of the shower. Her legs curled against her body, and her hair blanketed her back and sides. "Get out!" Her tone was littered in embarrassment. The red head looked ashamed; Marco would be lying if he said he didn't feel bad. These past two weeks have been different for the ex-commander, and even though he nags and scoffs at the red head. He enjoys her company.

Now… look what he has done. "I didn't mean to, yoi." He murmured. Red flared her eyes towards the blonde, they softened when they saw his blue ones drenched in guilt. Why do I feel bad when he was the one peeping? Would he do that? I don't think so… but I have only known him for two weeks! How could I be so sure? In the end, Red went with her gut and let out a sigh. Her gut was telling her that he isn't lying and didn't mean it.

"I-t's fine… on two conditions." She grunted.

For a second her heart stopped. Marco's eyes changed from guilt to pure happiness. The sight only lasted a moment, then the blonde regained his composure. But Red wanted to see his eyes sparkle again. Damnit! He is sexy and cute!? That is just not fair!

The blonde cleared his throat and crossed his arms over his chest, "what."

"One, no more of those stupid ropes and crappy chairs. I want to walk around your house freely, as you could see, I could've escaped by now."

Marco sighed, that's true. "And?"

Red turned her head away from the blonde, "give me your clothes." She demanded in a low voice. Marco looked over to her clothes, which are soaked from the amount of steam that was in the room. "Is that anyway to ask someone for something, yoi." The blonde said, emotionless.

"I'm not going to beg you for some damn clothes, pineapple head! I have pride, you know?" She grumbled with her cheeks flaring.

"I didn't ask for you to beg, yoi. A please would be nice."

Marco heard a snort from the woman. "Please…" The blonde turned around to get the woman some clothes with a small smile printed on his lips. When he came back, Red had a towel wrapped around her body. The towel let her tail roam free and her hair draped down her back. Crimson ink caught Marco's attention. On her thigh, laid a mark shaped like the sun. "Stop staring at that." She grumbled. The ex-commander turned his attention onto the woman's face. She had her cheek puffed out and her pale skin was flaring. "Is that why you killed them, yoi?" Marco didn't think before he spoke, and in return, he was shouted at by the hot-headed.

"That isn't any of your fucking business, now get out!" The redhead shoved the blonde out after snatching the clothing out of his hand. Once the door slammed behind him, Red slid down to the ground. Her hands gripped onto her arms and her teeth snapped onto her lip. Damnit, I need to get out of here quick… stupid pineapple.

Marco exhaled, is there going to be a time she doesn't yell at me? A knock on the door broke the ex-commander from his thoughts. He hobbled to the door, not in the mood for visitors. But this visitor was different.

The door opened, revealing a familiar sharpshooter. He had dark eyes, long hair with half of it tied up, painted lips, and a more muscular frame. "Izo, you changed so much, yoi." Marco smiled. The long-haired man smiled also, "you're still the same pineapple." Izo tried to ruffle the man's hair, but Marco shooed him away.

A chuckle came from Izo, "Thatch is coming in an hour, she wanted to visit some of the people." The blonde let his brother in and offered him something to eat, Izo requested tea. The sharpshooter knows why he is here, someone made an attempt on his brother's life. The long-haired man is great when it comes to interrogation. He plans to use his skills to get the truth out of the assassin.

When Marco laid the cup of tea in front of him, footsteps started to approach them. Izo watched as the shadow slowly slipped off of the figure. It was a gorgeous woman wearing Marco's clothes. She wore a long purple jacket, and a pair of his black boxers. Her bangs hung low over her eyes, and her locks flowed with her body as she walked into the kitchen. Izo's eyes narrowed on two things. One, the red mark peering from the boxers she is wearing, and the cuffs on her arms. This is the assassin? The figure tilted her head up when she noticed another person sitting at the table.

Her bangs moved along with her head, giving Izo a great view of her crimson eyes. She is so pretty! "Marco, there is no way she is a disgusting assassin." Izo glared, as if he'd been fooled.

"She is, yoi. Red, aren't you an assassin?"

"Yep." The redhead said, popping the 'p'. Her eyes fixated on the other commander, something about him seems so familiar to her. Her nose scrunched as she tried to gather his scent. Then, the realization hit her, fuck! You gotta be kidding me?! That is him! The sharpshooter gave her a questioning look, "problem?" He asked in a skeptical tone. "No." Red mumbled. She took a seat on the opposite side of the table, trying not to look at the long-haired man. Marco squinted at the woman, does Izo make her uncomfortable?

"I must say, you are very pretty. You look like a doll." He commented.

"Not the point, yoi." Marco rolled his eyes.

Izo cleared his throat and began to question the redhead. She answered all his questions without hesitations, except for one. "Why did you kill those dragons?" The redhead glared at the long-haired man from the mention of those disgusting humans. "None of your fucking business." she answered in a bitter tone.

Marco sighed, he knew she would say something like that. The blonde got up and opened his fridge, he returned with a box of chocolate covered strawberries. Red beamed at the treat Marco flaunted, "you get one if you answer the question, yoi." Izo gave a 'are you serious?' look to his older brother. I doubt a bunch of chocolate covered fruit will make the stubborn woman crumble-

"Ok!" She chirped with a smile.

Seriously? That is all it takes? Why am I even here? "Why did you kill those dragons?"

"They were pissing me off, so I killed them."

The casual way the woman said the statement made Izo intrigued. She is definitely different… I wonder how Thatch will react to her. As if on cue, a transponder purred. But it wasn't Izo's. Marco looked towards the cabinet he kept Red's device in with narrowed eyes. Next he looked at Red, who froze when she heard the sound.

The strained expression she made gave Marco enough reason to take out the object. He clutched the purring snail in his hands before placing it on the table. Izo's eyes flicked to the den den, then to Red as he picked up the call.

A muffled voice came through the line. "Red, where have you been? You were supposed to make contact with Kiku soon." The name of his sister made Izo's grip tighten on the snail. His jaw snapped shut and his sharp eyes pierced Red's. The killer gulped from the look, "sorry… I got caught up." She managed to squeeze out, hoping to god the person on the other line hangs up. But that isn't what happened.

"Whatever, we don't need her necessarily. But remember your mission. It is something we must do with care, bringing Whitebeard and Fire Fist back to life will be difficult."
